After reading the reviews on this gallery, I decided to give it a shot. After all, I love art. The idea of having an art gallery a bit closer to me was exciting.
Parking is metered and on the street. $1.00 gets you an hour. Trust me, you won't need it.
I walked in the "gallery" and was hit with an overwhelming odor! It smelled like mildew and a convalescent home. It was awful, but I was already here so I decided to give it a chance.
The front of the store is empty with an exception of a few canvas paintings- not properly displayed- but on the floor. To the right are some custom framing. I've seen a better selection and pricing at Micheal's Arts and Crafts store.
In the next room is where the paintings were hung. They're all a mess as well. In no way do they display new talent or showcase art.
The place is dusty and dirty. The staff barely spoke.
This can hardly be categorized as a gallery. It's more like an art studio/rec room.
Classless and lacking any sophistication. Typical Riverside.
