I took the elderly man I care for for lunch this week. I have to say the atmosphere when you walk in is so homey and cozy feeling. We were immediately greeted with smiles and seated even though it was busy. The menu is comfort food type and all of it made my mouth water. I went with the Cajun chicken sandwich and a salad and Mr Ted had a double burger and fries. My salad was your typical side salad. I liked that they put all the veggies in a bowl on the side and I could add how much I wanted. Same with the dressing. But this sandwich, oh my gosh it was delicious. The bun it came on, was so soft and pillowy and toasted to perfection. The chicken was grilled nicely and was juicy. But the rub/spices they use just make it! 👌 Topped with melty cheese and making it even better with two big pieces of bacon. Lettuce and tomato too. ❤️ The burger was huge and looked and smelled amazing. He could barely hold it, but ate every morsel! He enjoyed the fries as well. Our waiter was so attentive and so nice! We will definitely be back. I did not get a pic of his burger and fries, but they were spectacular looking. 😂 But got a pic of my sandwich. 🤤

The food was amazing. The portion sizes were also very generous for the prices as well. My only suggestion is if you could let your patrons know how to check out. This was my first time and I know they regularly get their regulars who know how to pay but I was sitting there for 10+ minutes looking around wondering why no one had came to pick up my card. Also what might help is if you ask “have you ever been to this diner before”. Again, I had a great server and the food was great.

I was there on a Sunday so it was brunch and all you can eat. You cannot order off a menu. The price is reasonable and it was fine. everything was fresh and hot. The server was very nice. I enjoyed taking my dessert to go.

Google
Awesome AYCE Sunday brunch buffet with great tasting chicken fried steak and chicken breast, tasty ham, fresh tasting off cob corn. Excellent, friendly service. Many other choices.

Google
Hole in the wall place. What they lack in ambiance, they make up for in food quality. The Sunday buffet was really good with a good selection of bfast foods (a omelette bar) and Sunday dinner foods. We'll definitely be back!

Google
always love coming here on a sunday morning for the AYCE brunch buffet! everything is always fresh and you can always have your pick of breakfast or lunch items. my go to is always the chicken fried steak and the waffles! the staff always keeps the buffet line stocked up as well. any time i want to do breakfast on a sunday, this is always my first pick!

Google
Everything was really good. Cooked made to order. Huevos Rancheroes was one of the best I’ve had in a while. Wife had the croissant with eggs and bacon and cheese. She said Butter was harmed in the making of this sandwich… and that is good!! Side of bacon/4 pieces. Good coffee and great service with a smile.

Google
Came here for a quick breakfast and I was very pleased. We received great service, the country eggs benedict was delicious and the scrambled eggs were tasty too. On the other hand the pancakes weren’t too good so I was skip on those. The French toward was decent though. Overall I’m happy with the place, prices, and portion.

Yelp
Needed a brunch buffet close to globe life so we could grab a quick bite then head to the game. Soooo glad this place was recommended by an Arlington foodies group! Everything we tasted was delicious , even down to the salad dressing. They even give you dessert to go with cake or pies, all delicious. Service was excellent too! Location seemed a little iffy but I'd go back for sure

Yelp
Came here on a weekday morning to get some breakfast. Our waitress gave us the best service with a friendly smile. The food came out hot and delicious-even the maple syrup for my bf's pancakes was hot! I ordered the eggs Benedict and it was delicious but so much food. The restaurant was not very loud which I liked since we could talk normally to have a conversation. Great Texas experience.

Yelp
I really hate giving less than adequate revues, but this was a place full of less than adequate. The coffee was bad. The server wasn't any better. We had to get our own creamer, to drown out the coffee. My wife had pancakes. They were very good, as was the bacon. My entire breakfast was inedible. Just look at oatmeal. Runny, slimey, 4 blueberries. The eggs were flat and overcooked. Did I mention service? She doted on the regulars, and there were a LOT of them, talking over each other like New Yorkers on a subway.

Yelp
Always very friendly and helpful service!! They remember how I like my tea. I hope they add Apple Pay sometime in the near future.

Yelp
We came for the Sunday brunch buffet, $15/person. The wait was about 10 minutes. The buffet selection was really good, especially the chicken fried steak with gravy, they also have an omelette station. You can get a free desert to-go pie or cake when you leave.

Yelp
If you think old style Diner with huge servings and vinyl covered chairs this place is for you. We order fried pork chop and cream gravy which covered the plate, chicken fried steak with cream gravy as well. Cream gravy should be the only legal gravy in the world as it is a delicacy in itself. The vegetables were all healthy and the service perfect. This will be a must visit for us every time we return to our roots traveling back home. PS the deserts were inexpensive and looked so amazing but remember the covered our plate meat - no room left in tummy to enjoy. Next time though an order of desert to go is on the menu.

Yelp
Great breakfast great service. Ordered the meat omelette and hash browns. Service was fast and efficient. Would for sure come back

Yelp
Texas Benedict: tasty variation of a classic dish! Mexi-skillet: average flavors. Waffle: solid and soaks up syrup just great Staff are friendly if a bit, umm. Laid back.

Yelp
Their T-shirt say it all "Best kept secret" Little diner that you would probably drive by without stopping. That would be your mistake, great food, service, clean restaurant that is very affordable! Thank you for the wonderful breakfast and their sausage patties

Jeff R.

Yelp
Over priced! Breakfast buffet is a joke. Nasty attitude of the manager, don't know her name, but she is just plain rude. Won't be back.
google avatar

Yelp
Great food. Met up with 7 friends on a recent Saturday morning. Service a little slow but they were packed and it was worth the wait.

Yelp
Stopped in for breakfast on a Saturday morning around 10am. They were busy but we were immediately greeted and seated. They have lots of regulars as numerous guests and staff knew each other by name and that was great to see. Our waitress was very busy but attentive and clearly working hard. Menu has plenty of options to choose from. They have daily specials and a Sunday brunch buffet. I was starving and in the mood for comfort food so ordered the loaded hashbrowns with bacon and biscuit & gravy. It was delicious! A large portion of hashbrowns cooked well with pieces of bacon mixed with cheese then topped with two eggs. You get to choose you meat, how you wNt your eggs cooked, and toast or biscuit & gravy for the side. It was so filling and delicious! I had to try a bite of the biscuit but I brought it home to eat today. I definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a casual good meal.

Yelp
Went for Sunday Brunch. For the price the food is very good. Service is , super friendly. It's a nostalgic diner style restaurant. Could use some new upgrades but it's clean. Will definitely be back.

David R.

Yelp
Food 10/10 Service 8/10, (this is a very positive 8/10) The environment is quiet, nobody is in ur business and from what I've seen everyone's in their own world, but in a good way. Nobody likes to feel like they're being watched as they eat from other tables. :) Never really felt like I was waiting too long for food. Super important detail on that service part

Yelp
Been here a handful of times. Love the club sandwich and Sunday buffet! Great service and friendly staff.

Yelp
Ok I have been driving past this place since 1993 and never stopped. Well ... that changed twice recently Was breakfast hungry and decided to try it Well Great service Great low prices And greater food!!!! I need to try the brunch to see if I bump to five stars.

William O.

Yelp
Great food, Lunch or Breakfast. Sandwiches are the bomb, great breakfast anytime - friendly service - NOT A CHAIN - highly recommend. Anybody who gives this place a one star is a Karen.

Veronica M.

Yelp
Good is ok. Quick service. Small dining area. Went in the winter, each time the door opened (a lot) fridge air enters restaurant. Our food got cold fast.
google avatar

Yelp
Was not impressed with this place. Nothing special and to be honest mine taste better at home. Was really disappointed. Considering how few people were in the place the service was slow. Very big and open so it kind of felt like a cafeteria! Not impressed!

Yelp
Excellent ! Food is good , service is excellent, place is clean and the atmosphere is nice

Yelp
First and foremost, I'm not a fan of breakfast foods. However, mom was in town and wanted breakfast. I ordered and went to pick up. I was allowed to get a lunch type plate and ordered mom a breakfast plate. The food was absolutely worth the price! The service picking it up was excellent. They showed me the food in the containers to check my order was correct and were so cheerful on an early rainy morning. Great food, great service!!!

Yelp
A classic diner, kicking it back old school, country/rustic version. The Sunday all you can eat Buffet Brunch was really impressive. The quality of the ingredients and freshness was terrific value for the price ($15 per person). Service was incredibly friendly. This is a locally owned, family run small business. Definitely recommend and will be coming back! Pro Tip: grab a free (included) dessert on your way out!
google avatar

Sandra E.

Yelp
The brunch is the way to go! Think of Buffet but grandmas cooking involved. It tasty and delicious. I've never been on a weekday but I do know it's so good on the weekends. You have to try it! They gave prime rib on buffet! You can take dessert to go too!

Susan P.

Yelp
One of our favorite go to's. Great service, every waitress (server) has been welcoming and nice, a real hometown~like experience. The food is always good and the portions are good size. One of our favorite dishes is the chicken fried chicken. And, the prices are more than fair! The Sunday brunch is really pretty incredible. With an included dessert! Apparently others think so too, because it's always busy ~but they always get you in. I do recommend it!

Yelp
Found this place while up looking for a used car and figured we'd give it a try... glad we did! This place is awesome! Atmosphere, food, service... all were top notch. It's over an hours drive from our home but we will make the trip again just to eat here!

Yelp
10 out of 10 stars ! Would recommend , it a drive for me to get there but once we tried it we went back right away . Sunday brunch is our new thing there . Shhhh I met my sister there and didn't even take my husband he would be hurt he didn't get to go . Honestly the food is fresh and good . It may not be a huge one but if you are looking to get a delish brunch buffet that is kept hot and fresh, this is the place ! Desert .... Bread pudding to dream about . They have it packed up to go for you if you want

Yelp
I was absolutely amazed by how good the Sunday Brunch was!! Everything was fantastic. Loved it!!!

Deborah E.

Yelp
First time going and wow we were impressed! Service was excellent. Trish was our server. Great personality. Upbeat and personable. The food was on point on the buffet. Everything was hot and fresh and delicious! Will definitely put this diner into our rotation of great Sunday Brunch spots

Yelp
Having been a regular years ago when Rocky owned the Diner, I was spoiled by the delicious food & prices. New owners after that changed things up & raised prices but essentially kept the same food quality. Don't know who owns it now but of course prices have had to be raised due to economy. My daily special of roast pork wasn't as tender as I thought it could be, but my mind always tells me it'll be fine lol. Hubby's chicken strip/fries basket didn't appear too appealing, but not what I prefer either Service was ok but could've been a bit more attentive; had to wait for then again request ketchup for fries. Casual dining with obvious regulars, still have the old organ in back room. Small round tables (also have squares & larger) feel crowded with 4 chairs; kept painfully bumping the extras with knees! Prices not out of line but will need to return to try either Sunday buffet (still looks good) or other items. Not UNrecommending but can't give it an enthusiastic thumbs up yet, either.

Yelp
Nice little mom and pop diner. The food was pretty good for the first time. I had the all-you-can-eat brunch buffet. The diner had a variety of food options. There were sections for salad, Belgian waffles, fruit, and, dessert. The center section held the main dishes which included bacon, omelets, eggs benedict, sausage, fried fish, biscuits and gravy, chicken-fried steak, ham, roasted potatoes, chicken fried chicken, meatloaf, green beans, corn, and macaroni and cheese. I learned that I could get my one dessert to go, I selected the carrot cake. Some food items were lukewarm, but most were hot. I'm happy I got to try their entire menu. If I return on a weekday, I would order the chicken fried steak or chicken fried chicken. Both were cooked to perfection and delicious. If you are in the area give them a try.

Yelp
We found this place via Real Arlington Foodies on FB and this place did not disappoint. We both had the Diner Special. I got bacon with mine and my husband got a ham steak. Both delicious. For the price you can't beat this place. Definitely a local joint but we still received top notch service from Melissa. We are in town for another 3 days and will probably be back.

Yelp

Yelp
Love the small cafe atmosphere. The food was great, simple, delicious breakfast and great prices! I will definitely be back!

Yelp
Such a cute and inviting place. Like a homemade style restaurant. Perfect for brunch! All the staff is phenomenal and very sweet! Their menu had a variety of things for breakfast plus a brunch menu with extra options. I had the country sausage egg Benedict. It was savory and delicious! Presentation was cute and picture perfect! The eggs were creamy, just how they should be! The hash brown on the side was PERFECT. I like my hash browns crispy and soft in the middle and that's exactly how it came! This place is a great breakfast/brunch place

Cory p.

Yelp
Excellent food and service. I ordered the loaded hash-browns extra crispy with basted eggs and they were great. I have also tried the dinner breakfast and it was good also.

Yelp
Updated post: April 4, 2020 -- Although the entire world has been turned upside down due to the COVID-19 pandemic over the last month with businesses and restaurants being forced to shut down or allow only to-go or curbside service, Division Street Diner stepped up to the challenge and continued to deliver their best in class American breakfast and lunch comfort foods. Earlier this week my husband and I tired of our own cooking meal to meal so we decided to do a to-go lunch from our favorite diner, we affectionately call just "DSD". He was craving their Diner Burger and I wanted their Diner Club. I made a quick call to be greeted warmly by Debra on the line and she said it would be about 10 min. Just perfect since we live about 15 min away. Deb met my car outside and brought me everything we ordered nicely wrapped in bags and then quickly handled my credit card transaction. The food was still piping hot when we got home and it was SO delicious! This morning, we decided were really craving a great breakfast so we instantly thought of DSD. My husband ordered the Country Eggs Benedict with crispy hash browns and I went with the Western Omelet with crispy hash browns as well. Again, it just took a quick call to the Diner and I was picking up curbside another fantastic and hot meal from DSD. Here's a photo of the Western Omelet and toast in their to-go container -- and my own glass of tea and a Mimosa. During this COVID-19 pandemic, you will NOT go wrong by ordering from Division Street Diner. We cannot wait to be back in the restaurant again to be with our family and to be with our friends of DSD. We miss y'all! (PREVIOUS POST) My husband and I absolutely LOVE this place -- whether for breakfast or lunch -- this restaurant never disappoints. The owners, Chris and Leahsa, are so welcoming and make every customer feel as if they've known you for a lifetime. As my husband and I come in more and more often (mostly Fridays for lunch and Saturdays for brunch), we get to see so many other customers who have also made this place their regular (favorite) diner. Folks, because the food at DSD is so great (and I mean home cooking great), you may find on certain Saturdays that lots of other admiring customers will also want to join in for a bite to eat -- so bring your patience with you (especially at peak brunch hours) and I guarantee you'll have a terrific experience by a professional staff of waitresses to care for you. These folks really care for their customers and want to make sure you have a memorable experience. Yes, my husband and I give Division Streetcar Diner a strong 5-star rating. It's so well deserved!

Yelp
Just ate there this morning the sausage omelet was really good as were the biscuits and gravy. Planning on doing the weekend buffet this Sunday after church.

Yelp
Went on a Sunday morning. Didn't know it was only a brunch buffet. It was around $15 per person. Glad we went. It was so GOOD! There were breakfast and lunch items on the buffet. The roast beef was amazing. I would definitely recommend this place. All the staff were friendly. We even got a dessert to go that was included in the price. Give it a try!

Yelp
Sunday's are for brunch...and brunch only. I was a little put off by brunch service only on Sundays but if I'm anything on a road trip - I'm go with the flow. There is a smaller variety of breakfast items than lunch items. They have a waffle bar area. Limited topings but enough to make a few delicious varieties of waffles. The waffles were crisp despite not being made at the time you order. There is also an omelette station. It's manned with a cook and although I didn't choose an omelette today- the ones being made smelled delicious. First trip was eggs Benedict and bacon. Egg was nice and runny - flavor was mediocre. Second trip - chicken fried steak - green beans - and mashed potatoes. The potatoes were so light and fluffy - but again a little lacking in flavor. The green beans were a no go for me. The chicken fried steak was amazing. Third trip. 1/4 waffle. Delicious. Last trip - I went for it all. Fried catfish. Chicken fried chicken. Mashed potatoes again. Meatloaf with a creole sauce. Amazing. This plays knows how to fry food. I am not a fan of fried catfish but if I am in this area again, I will come back for the fried catfish. Hands down. I tried a few bites of my sisters homemade biscuits. HUGE disappointment. They looked huge and light and I imagined sinking my teeth into breakfast heaven. *womp womp womp* I had a mouthful of dough. Like it was baked - but it literally tastes like flour and salt. I explain the texture like this - I bite into it - it's dry - I chew - it turned into play dough. I fought myself from giving this review 3 stars for this biscuit alone. But the fried food has my heart.

Yelp
I give this restaurant a 10 plus the chicken fried chicken was amazing and delicious, even doh I took it to Go when I got home it still was warm, when I call to put my order the girl that help me was super nice

Yelp
I came here for years with my dad before he passed away. Now, I stop by when I'm in town to remember our times together and eat some delicious food! Hard working people here and the food is amazing. Sunday is brunch buffet only and they offer a made to order omelet station.
google avatar

Chelsea C.

Yelp
There is a sweetness to this spot and you can feel it when you walk in the door. AND really great food. Biscuits are legit - totally worth it. Healthy food is also really well done. I had a veggie egg white omelette and it was perfection. Super friendly staff - hot coffee - so much to love.
google avatar

Terri L.

Yelp
Tried this place due to all of the raving reviews of their brunch and really wanted to love it. It was ... okay. Nothing special, wasn't bad but nothing I would go back for. I guess I'm a brunch snob and they had an okay brunch. They did have an excellent roast beef, ham was ham. The salad bar was really sparse and the breakfast items were very limited. And you couldn't order off of a menu for brunch. No menus given. The good parts were the biscuits and dessert! But unfortunately those two do not a brunch make. Was worth a single visit and again not bad but def not a brunch I would return to.

Yelp
Found this place on Yelp. Breakfast was great! Service even better. Would definitely recommend.
