I used to live in Dubai , mandi and kabsa being one of my favourites. I’ve tried some places in London and nothing was as good as Diwan kitchen. The kabsa was my favourite. Got to try Saleem which was new for me , I ended up loving that too. The service was incredible from Sara, there was another guy but he didn’t really match Sara’s energy. They even give you tiny portion of rice to try and choose from which I think is a very smart thing to do.The portion sizes are generous.interiors are cute. I am 100% going back. A very good place to try if you like different cuisine or the best place to go if you love authentic Saudi dishes.

It was our 16th year marriage anniversary, so we wanted to taste soudi cuisine, so drove all they way from Essex, honestly speaking, really impressed with service and food. Sister Sara just amazing, she made us feel so special and looked after us. From the beginning to end everything we enjoyed. Food so authentic, customer service is outstanding.. Best wishes forever. Sara you are great ***** 😍😍

Diwan Kitchen gave us one of the most enjoyable meals we have had out for a long time. The private seating is so comfortable, tidy and perfect when you have young children. It really eases the burden of parents trying to appease unsettled kids. The soup to start was light, yet rich and incredibly warming and hearty. The saleeg was creamy and comforting. The flavour was mild but still very tasty and enjoyable. The chicken boukhari was lightly and perfectly spiced with sweet raisins to complement the rice. This reminded me a lot of kabuli pilau 😋 I was highly impressed by how tender, soft and juicy the chicken in each of the dishes was. The star of the show was truly the lamb mandi. Generous portion, beautifully spiced, and the rice looked unassuming, but it was so delicious and moreish. The red sauce served along side was also very tasty when eaten with the rice dishes. The cheese mutabbaq was stringy and yummy. To finish we had kunafah which my husband and kids hoovered up. I couldn’t fault a single thing. The service was prompt and respectful, the food delicious and the atmosphere lovely. I’m already planning my next visit.

Absolutely loved the lamb mandi platter at Diwaan Restaurant! The lamb was incredibly tender, perfectly spiced, and cooked to perfection. Each bite was full of rich flavour without being overpowering making it a truly satisfying meal. You can tell a lot of care goes into the preparation. Highly recommend trying the lamb platter if you’re visiting Diwaan. it’s a must-have! 10/10 A special mention to Sara, who was warm, attentive, and made the whole dining experience even better with her friendly service.

A few of us just returned from Saudi Arabia and since we were missing the food we decided to try this place. Initially once we walked in it seemed like a family oriented place, we were offered a booth, but whilst we prayed salah, it was given away to someone else, this was very disappointing and I almost left as this type of disrespectful behaviour is not warranted. However my friends talked me back in to staying and we met Sara, she was brilliant and took care of us, she apologised even though it was not her fault. The food arrived and we absolutely loved it, saleegh is very good, it was exactly what i hoped it would be. Jarrish was sublime and i just could not get enough of it, its a winter warmer and lets not forget the Fousilia, yes i know they are just pulses and beans but with that amazing bread it absolutely hits the spot. The food really needs to be eaten hot, the authenticity is not 100% but its close enough to the real deal. The chicken was tender and soft with subtle flavour, the meat was literally cooked to perfection. Its definitely a must try if you haven’t tried arab cuisine from this region of the world.

Chicken was lovely with kabsa rice Lamb was tender and fell off the bone, only thing was that the temperature wasn’t piping hot. Mandi rice tasted similar to a Chinese stir fried rice which I found different flavour profile wise. The broth was nice, high in salt. Tea was amazing, I’d come back just for the chai. Lemon and mint drink was balanced and not too sweet

Always delivers whenever I come. I recently have taken my wife and son and everything was delicious. The staff made it very special for my family. Will definitely recommend the lamb Kabsa.

I ordered the chicken and lamb Mandi dishes from Diwan Kitchen. The chicken was soft, flavourful, and fell off the bone — though the breast portion was a bit dry. The lamb, unfortunately, was too dry and didn’t quite hit the mark. The rice was nicely spiced and aromatic, which helped elevate the meal. Sauces could definitely be improved to better complement the dishes. Overall, decent food with room for improvement.
