I ordered the chicken and lamb Mandi dishes from Diwan Kitchen. The chicken was soft, flavourful, and fell off the bone — though the breast portion was a bit dry. The lamb, unfortunately, was too dry and didn’t quite hit the mark. The rice was nicely spiced and aromatic, which helped elevate the meal. Sauces could definitely be improved to better complement the dishes. Overall, decent food with room for improvement.

There was a shortage of good Middle Eastern cuisine in the capital and a few places opened up which are trying to capture the true essence of Khaleeji cuisine. That was until Diwan kitchen opened up. This place has managed to capture the hospitality of the Bedouin of that region. With two sister hostesses that make you feel like you’re actually at home getting pampered by family with you favourite foods. The two Sisters that manage the place expertly are a joy to talk to very knowledgeable about the food and their description show passion for this new establishment. The food was impeccable and the best Saudi/yemeni cuisine I have had in London and I will be visiting this place often. Highly recommended take all your loved ones here.

Before i mention how amazing the food is, I want to thank Elena for her amazing service. She was very attentive and really friendly and helpful (she helped pick out dishes out). The food portion was incredible, we have plenty to take home and it was delicious! will be a returning customer. Atmosphere is very cosy and clean.

Just had an incredible dinner here! All the food was amazing but the service from Sara and Elena was even better. One of our party was vegan and they were able to cater with delicious options. Must try restaurant!

Amazing experience at this restaurant. Firstly, the staff were so friendly and helpful. We were lucky to be seated straight away and were given the choice between a table and eating on the floor (the traditional way). We took the floor option which was really nice and the carpet was actually comfortable. Food was really good too. We had Mandi, kabsa, saleeg and mathlotha. We also got the cheesy bread as a side. The food was all really good. The saleeg was very different from what we usually eat so we weren't a big fan of it but everything else was really good. The mango juice was fresh too and tasted like Pakistani mangoes. For dessert we got the areekah special which wasn't too sweet but tasted really good. Also the gave us this meaty tasting soup as a starter which was complimentary. All in all, it was a very hearty meal and enjoyable. One thing I will say is the portion sizes are quite big and I think 1 main can be shared between 2 people. Excellent service, amazing decor and great food!

A Hidden Gem – A Must-Try Dining Experience! From the moment we walked in, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. The saleeg was absolutely outstanding – rich, creamy, and bursting with flavor. Every bite felt like comfort food at its finest, the chicken was so juicy and tender. But what truly elevated our visit was the warm hospitality. The lady who served us was incredibly sweet, polite, and genuinely welcoming. Her kind gesture of offering us a sweet treat as a gift at the end of our meal was the perfect cherry on top – it left us smiling long after we left. We also tried the lamb mandi, and it was phenomenal – tender, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection. Every dish was top-tier and clearly made with care and authenticity. Highly recommended! Whether you're a fan of traditional dishes or looking to try something new, this spot is a must. We'll definitely be coming back.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Unforgettable Experience – Proper Khaleeji Vibes MashaaAllah TabarakAllah We had a great evening at Diwan Kitchen with friends, and honestly, it just hit different. There were six of us to start, then two more joined later, but the platter we ordered was massive—more than enough for everyone, and not a single bite disappointed. The food was proper. The chicken especially stood out—juicy, soft, and full of flavour. You could tell it had been marinated well and cooked with care. Even the rice and sauces were on point. And the dessert? Very traditional and just sweet enough. Really rounded off the meal nicely. The floor seating area made a big difference too. It felt warm, homely, and gave the whole evening a nice touch of culture—something you don’t get in most places. Service was excellent. Abdurrahman looked after us really well—calm, welcoming, and always checking in at the right time without being in your face. The brothers running the place deserve credit for how smooth everything felt. The rest of the staff were lovely too—friendly and respectful the whole way through. This place isn’t just about food, it’s about the whole vibe. Authentic, generous, and done properly from start to finish. If you’re looking for proper Saudi-Yemeni food in London, this is the one. Bring your family, your mates—whoever. You won’t regret it. May Allah bless their business and give the brothers success. Ameen.
