"DixiePops, the frozen popsicle shop that launched last fall at Little Italy’s Roma Urban Market, is expanding to Mission Hills where will be part of Patio Plaza, a property on Washington Street at Goldfinch that’s being renovated by American National Investments, the real estate development company behind The Patio Group (The Patio on Goldfinch, Fireside by the Patio)." - Candice Woo

After a long day of work and now blood sugar levels dropping, I decided to stop and try this new ice cream place. It was quiet and clean with one customer ahead of me. I looked over the menu, noticing that they had both sweet and savory flavors. I tend to prefer sweeter things and so I ordered the blueberry goat cheese. Wasn’t sure how I would like it and I have to say it really surprised me with how creamy and flavorful this serving of ice cream was. I like the different options they had and I will definitely be back the first chance I get! Luckily, they are right between where I live and where I work 😜

Fantastic new ice cream place in Mission Hills/Hillcrest! It's all made in house, they said the flavors change all the time and they are delicious! I got the blueberry goat cheese, yum! They have options for everyone: dairy free, gluten free, nut free... All listed on the signs. They are also so nice and friendly and welcomed our pup with a dog pop that he loved! Can't wait to bring some friends and try the shave ice, and many other flavors.

This place is awesome! I highly recommend coming here. We came here with our kids and got kids scoops which were big for kids scoops. We had big eyes and my husband and I both got two scoops (mediums) and it was so much ice cream! But we could t complain as the ube and the toasted coconut were delicious! We look forward to coming back soon. Ps - they have a loyalty program which my hubby is always a fan of.

Savory is the perfect word to describe this snack. You can taste the cream and real bits of flavor in every bite. It’s not as sweet as you might expect, but that’s not a bad thing when it’s balanced out with actual flavors and not synthetic sugars. I’ll be returning

Great little shop with different flavors every time you visit. Best in the area for ice cream by far!

Ice cream is average. Long wait but very friendly staff. Let you try as many as flavors as you want.

This small ice-cream shop has a great atmosphere, lovely staff, and wonderful homemade flavors that change regularly. If your in the area on a warm day this place is a must! They also have flavors, like vanilla, in the back for those who aren't feeling adventurous.
