Food was really flavorful. I got the 1/4 chicken Mandi and loved their sauces on the side. The Yemeni style seating was unique, but remember it's not a high end restaurant. Regular seating is also available. Service was a little slow, so keep expectations low when you get there.

We ordered the platter for two, which came with both lamb and chicken kabsa—absolutely standout dishes. The meats were richly spiced, tender, and incredibly aromatic. On the side, we had Fahsah, a hearty lamb stew with deep, comforting flavors—truly delicious. The fresh salad was surprisingly tasty too. The food was so good, and the portions were massive—we couldn’t even finish it! Honestly, the two-person platter could easily satisfy 3 to 4 people. And to top it off, they served complimentary lamb soup and traditional Yemeni tea—a warm, authentic touch. 10/10 experience

Dear Atlanta. Yemen Cusine is not being represented. As worldwide cuisines go, Yemini food doesn’t get much play. Now, thanks to Diyar Al Yemen, Atlanta has some of the best Yemeni cuisine in the southeast. Yemeni food has a lot in common with Indian and Ethiopian fare, more so than it does with Middle Eastern cuisine. The comforting, savory lamb stew served in a bubbling bowl, one of the chicken dishes and a cup of sweetened, hot black tea makes a perfect meal. You can enjoy your meal at a table or seat across leg in one of the pillows, strong upfront seat, seating areas. Highly recommended

Food was delicious and our server Rehab was sweet! The portions are large and flavorful. We received complimentary soup (lamb & lentil) and tea. There are multiple seating options (floor seating, table, booths). Overall, great experience!

Delicious food. Great service. And awesome ambience. I had the lamb, with garlic sauce and a mango/avocado smoothie. This was a delightful and unique experience. I would definitely come back.

Gismela was an amazing server! She was very kind and welcoming to me and my mom when we were dinning. She moved quick, and checked on us frequently while also attending to 6 other guest. The food here is 10/10, and comes with a great potion. We will be back!! This is definitely a place you want to try!

Yelp
This new HALAL restaurant is a must-try. We have been waiting some time for them to open and they didn't disappoint. We tried a variety of foods including lentil soup, chicken shawarma, fahsah, and the half chicken mandi, as well as the cola and adeni tea. The lentil soup and fahsah were the fan favorites among the family. The shredded lamb in the fahsah was very tender and had a great flavor. The chicken shawarma did not stand out as much as we had hoped, but still had good taste to it. It would be the perfect quick bite to take back to the office. The adeni tea offered us a fragrant, spiced finish to the meal. The staff are all very friendly and keep the restaurant nice and clean. The variety of seating styles makes the experience unique. We are looking forward to our next visit. Food- 5/5 Service- 5/5 Ambiance- 5/5

Yelp
We tried this newly opened Yemeni restaurant with a big group--party of 30 or more--and it was absolutely fantastic! Every single one of us loved it. The food, the atmosphere, and most of all, the heart behind this place make it a must-visit. Yes, they're still getting into their groove, but honestly, for a new restaurant, they're doing an incredible job. If you're looking for a polished, fine-dining experience, this may not be your spot--**yet**. But if you want authentic, soulful Yemeni food and genuinely warm hospitality, you've found the right place. The dishes were full of flavor and came out fresh. Some items took a bit longer, but it was well worth the wait and the experience was so memorable that I'd go back again and again. A huge shoutout to Mo, the owner and chef. His story is inspiring--starting work at 13, learning the ropes, and now running his own place with a passion you can taste in every bite. He's kind, hardworking, and committed to great customer service. He even made sure our massive group was taken care of personally. Yes, there were a few small bumps--some minor confusion--but honestly, that didn't matter at all. The staff is doing their best, and the level of care we received far outweighed any hiccups. This place is more than a restaurant--it's a labor of love. Support them, enjoy the incredible food, and don't be surprised if you find yourself becoming a regular. I know I will. We tried pretty much everything and loved it all. Lamb Haneeth Lamb kabsa All the shawarmas Fahsah (make sure you eat this with bread) Falafel Hummus (best hummus I've eaten in a restaurant) Lamb soup Mandi You name it we tried it! And it was all fantastic! Thank you mo for giving us an opportunity to try amazing authentic Yemeni food! The first of its kind in Atlanta and absolutely amazing! Let me also reiterate that in this large group of people the age ranged from a toddler to elderly up to 80s year old. There was someone present from each decade of age group and not one person had a complaint nor frustration. We all left content, satisfied, full, and happy. Oh and we went on Mother's Day. So you can only imagine how busy they were, yet our experience and food was on point!

Yelp
I had never had Yemeni food, but I can't wait to have it again! I ordered the Fahsah and bread with a mango smoothie, and the food came out in a stone bowl bubbling hot. It had such a rich mixture of spices and flavors, and boy do I love it dip bread into hot stews. The service was attentive and really liked the look and feel of the place with its more authentic floor seated areas. Will absolutely be back!

Yelp
The food is amazing. So flavorful and authentic. I truly enjoy it. The customer service is also wonderful! I love the ambiance because they have these little booths you can sit in on the floor and it actually gives you a little privacy! It's just a great spot!

Yelp
We tried this place for the second time! Great authentic Yemeni food! We tried the chicken mendi and lamb galabah. Portions are large. Very filling. Family friendly atmosphere. It isn't loud. Service is good. We will definitely return.

Yelp
Food was decent but not amazing. Also wasn't very hot when it came out. The rice was room temp, and the stew Fahsa was very watery. The service was really bad but I think the place is worth trying. Just be patient with the servers as they forget everything and didn't even offer us drinks. The salads could have been very good, they just needed more salt!

Yelp
Tried this place on a busy Saturday night. Food was good, portion was large, and price was reasonable. 4/5 stars Service was very disappointing. Took forever to get our order taken. When food came, it didn't come with any silverware or dishes. Requests for these were ignored and we were left staring at the food. 2/5 stars This restaurant just opened so hopefully they iron out the service issues.

Yelp
This restaurant is newly opened. We came on a Saturday and waited to be seated. Initially we were excited - the aromas were enticing and the restaurant seemed full. We were seated in the traditional seating where the floor was not clean. Ultimately we were moved to a wobbly table. We had to find someone to take our order. The dinner for 2 includes soup (which was out), chicken (which was out and supposed to be substituted for lamb in a bowl that did not come) and a veggie side dish. Flavors were great on the Saltah. We asked for bread twice and it did not come. We also had to get up find someone to get plates and cutlery. The Lamb rice dish is their signature dish but the rice was NOT COOKED all the way through. It was al dente which is not how rice is eaten. There were absolutely no explanations or apologies for the poor service, and certainly no discounts to make up for the missing food. This place has a ways to go before it should be open for dining.

Yelp
This was fantastic! From the complimentary soup and chai tea, to the lamb Fahsah and Chicken Mandi, everything was so full of flavor and deliciously presented. So good!

Yelp
Amazing Yemeni food -- hands down the best in Georgia! Every dish we tried was packed with flavor and tasted incredibly fresh. The lamb was so tender it fell right off the bone, and the rice was perfectly seasoned. You can really tell they put care into their cooking.

Yelp
Great resturant with great authentic food . They have free soup and authentic tea. The setting area can be on mattresses or on chairs

Yelp
The food here is so good! This is my third time coming here but THIS TIME, the hummus was AMAZING! It was so smooth and creamy. I will be coming back for more!!

Yelp
Great place! I actually lived in Yemen when I was a child for one year (in Sanaa), and this place is on point. I have not had shawarma that good since I lived there. I highly recommend this restaurant. Beautiful interior and kind service too!

Yelp
First time experience and was excited to try out this restaurant for the first time. The restaurant is small and has limited seating. Even the booth was tight and not comfortable. The A/C was not turned on either and the place became very warm and uncomfortable. When the food arrived the soups were either spicy or salty and the haneeth rice was cold & undercooked. The lamb meat was not tender as it should be and was not much for the plate. All in all I would not recommend this restaurant as it does not do justice for authenticity & Yemeni cuisine.
