Outstanding! Chicken soup broth is legit!!! You can tell they labor over this food and love what they do. Corn bread is amazing!! I’ll be buying some to go! Salads full of flavor and fresh. Pricey but worth it! I’d gladly pay what they deserve!

Ordered the rib plate for take out and the people working there were super nice. Now, I found the ribs to be the weakest part of the meal, cause they were not tender enough for me and the flavor was just okay, but the cut was trimmed really well and not fatty at all. The BBQ sauce served with it - if that is homemade, they should bottle it - it’s perfectly tangy to cut through the richness of the meat. Now, the sides I got - the potatoes with gravy and the carrots - OMG - a-maz-ing. I admit, I love potatoes, and I tried these without the gravy and they were so good with this slight taste of onion in the mash. Then I tried the gravy by itself and it is perfection, dreamy gravy. Put them together and wow, so so good. It’s like home cooking but by Grandma who knew how to cook right. The carrots were also delicious and had fresh herbs - seemed like maybe thyme, tarragon, rosemary or a combination? Normally, I hate cornbread but I LOVED their cornbread cause it was sweet and dense but my husband who grew up in the South didn’t like it because it was sweet and dense. 😝 I also love sweet pickles and these were EXCELLENT - are these homemade too? Lovely treat for anyone living in Biddeford and worth the trip off the interstate for those passing through. Oh those potatoes!

This is a hidden gem in my opinion. We walked in and were greeted by friendly staff and they seemed genuinely happy to see us. The whole place smells amazing. The chicken was absolutely delicious. We had the bbq and the rotisserie chicken. Ribs were fall off the bone melt in your mouth good! The carrots, Mac and cheese, and mashed potatoes were delicious as well. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone going through town.

Not you go to date night destination but good food, nice folks, and a clean although quaint atmosphere. My initial take is that it is mostly a take-ot restaurant as the evening we were there, we were the only dine-in patrons yet there was a steady stream of patrons and hired driver pick ups. There was plenty of seating both inside and out. We you go in, you go up to the counter and place your order. The folks are friendly and accommodating. and there are plenty of choices unless you are a vegan or vegetarian. They have a vast assortment of drinks including beer both in cans and on tap. The prices of the later are more reasonable than in fancier restaurants. When our meals were ready they called us and then brought our meals over to us. It is mostly self-serve: if you want another drink you go to the counter, order it, pay for it and bring it back to your table. When you are through with your meal you are expected to put your trays, plates, silverware, trash, and returnables in the so designated bins. We had enough leftovers for a second meal.

Some of the best chicken we’ve had in our life. AND THE CORNBREAD OMG!!! Spectacular experience. I’m from Maine and usually go to my old spots when I visit but this place is gonna be a new regular for me. See before and after pic we cleaned that bird.

Came here for lunch for the first time with my boyfriend. Actually showed up about an hour before they opened (I didn't check their hours). The owner had let us know. So we came back later. Their food was delicious. The owner was waking around interacting with patrons and had come up to us asking how the food was and then said thank you for coming back. I know we'll be back again!

Dizzy Birds is incredible!!! From their rotisserie chickens, to the sandwiches, delicious sides, chicken pot pie (omg), and even desserts, everything is made with love by amazing chefs. I love that it's family owned! I ordered Thanksgiving pies (apple and pecan) and they blew my face off. Best pies in my entire life. It's sad, because I will never eat a pie that tastes good unless I can get more from them and I live 2 states away lol! Seriously though, it's the perfect place to grab dinner on your way home and eat juicy, flavorful, organic chicken and the best sides ever. Don't think - just order!!!

This is an awesome go to for feeding a crowd. Seriously everything is delicious. Do not pass up the corn bread. I asked what made this cornbread so good? The response was Butter, butter butter butter. Works for me!

I've heard so many good things about Dizzy Birds from friends that I finally gave it a shot......good call on my part! Luv this place already. I got takeout but you can eat your meal there also in a nice comfortable atmosphere. They have quite the menu selections with rotisserie chicken, roast beef, bbq ribs lots of cold or hot sides and daily Dizzy dinner specials such as meatloaf, turkey, pot roast. ect, ect. I ordered the 1/2 Rotisserie Original Chicken with Mashed Potatoes, Maple Glazed Carrots, Baked Beans and Corn Bread for me and my wife. It was great with leftovers to boot. I'll be coming back to try their other menu selections...I think the meatloaf. Give them a try and Enjoy!

I've been to Dizzy 2-3 times. The BBQ chicken and ribs are great. As are the mashed potatoes, grilled ratatouille. I like the beans, but they're missing something; as a cook in the food business for 40 years, I can taste that there's something not there with the beans. I would love to see some sides that aren't sweet. Other than the ratatouille, all of them have sugar or another sweetner added. Why not just roasted carrots instead of honey sweetened ones? Or roasted Brussels? Just suggestions from someone who's trying to be more careful about added sugar. I will continue to order from Dizzys as I know everything is from scratch. Also, very pleasant staff.

An early supper at Dizzy Bird in Biddeford, Maine. The drum plate with two drum/thighs and sides of kale-broccoli salad and mayofree tater salad. It was way too much for o e sitting. They definitely need to open a location in Brunswick!

Underwhelming food and overpriced. Service was good. Ambiance okay. Many better dining options in this up and coming town.

I finally got around to trying this place and it's really good! I loved the kale and broccoli salad. So good!!! I will definitely be back to try more menu items. Roll was dry. I couldn't eat it but that's really the only negative. Everything else was great.

I don't like chicken? Anymore?? Sat and waited 45 minutes for a cramped table for my mother my sister and myself for lunch... The food was not %100 so it would lead ME elsewhere if I have the option..

We've never had a bad meal from here. We love the family meal - the chicken is always perfect and the Mac and cheese and cornbread can't be beat. We've dined in and done take out - always good either way. Friendly people and we're happy they are back from their break!

Dizzy bird is a good spot for chicken and typical bbq sides. The chicken has always been moist and flavorful. The sides I've tried, mashed potato's, corn bread and Mac have all been great. Would recommend checking this place out!

I'm from Texas and if you know anything about Texas and BBQ, you know it's serious there. We ordered a full rotisserie chicken and some baby back ribs with a side of cornbread and butternut squash. The chicken breast was insanely juicy and the seasoning was spot on, the ribs were fall off the bone tender and I loved the flavor of both. The butternut squash and cornbread taste like Thanksgiving in the best possible way. We'll definitely come back! Great work y'all.

The chicken and sides are usually very good. Price for pint and a half of what turned out to not be chicken soup, very small piece of cornbread and a small side of kale salad $25.00 I've been disappointed a few times. The chicken soup? Brown, didn't taste like chicken soup and congealed to solid gel when refrigerated. A pint of Chili was too salty to eat. Once the kale salad was about 30% cranberries. Cornbread always breaks into crumbs. A cookie too undercooked to eat except the edges. Too many plastic containers.

One my my FAVORITE places to eat! Amazing chicken, potatoes are to die for and the carrots are the best I've ever had. Will always recommend this to everyone.

When you're wanting to celebrate your 9-year wedding anniversary in a delicious way, I say choose @dizzybirdsrotisserie. We got the mixed BBQ plate which gave us 1/2 of a chicken, 1/2 rack of ribs and three sides. We chose native corn salad (delightful), mac & cheese (holy crap) and the roasted carrots, which we thought were maple carrots, but unfortunately turned out to be fennel (we brought these to my parents). It came with what can only be described as a brick of sweet cornbread, and we got a pot de creme for dessert (a thick, rich chocolate mousse with fresh cream and berries). The meat fell off of the bones, the flavors were developed and delightful, and they even gave us a squirt bottle of their bbq sauce! We are 100% satisfied with the artistry that was our meal and the service. The crew at #dizzybirdsrotisserie was stoked to have us, and pumped to help us celebrate our anniversary. This is some of the best potato salad I've ever had. And it's vegan. You wouldn't think that a place labeled a rotisserie would have such an incredibly thoughtful and inclusive menu, but they do - so if you're vegetarian or vegan, don't write this place off. It's comfort food, it's stick to your ribs food, it's food made with love. They've got both a tofu sandwich (made with black bean puree and caramelized onions) and a daily vegan entree that comes with two sides and cornbread (GET. THE. CORN. BREAD.). The potato salad is mayo free - and it seriously hits the spot. Sometimes I feel oversaturated by mayo-based salads (even vegan ones), so this is a breath of fresh air. The maple ginger carrots (vegan) are so big and so flavorful! There's also mashed potatoes and mac and cheese (vegetarian) that I could swim in, along with a host of other sides. The staff here is truly in touch with the food - since everything's made in house! - so if you're unsure if something is vegan or vegetarian, just ask! There's herbivore friendly soups as well, enormous family-sized meals to takeaway (like lasagnas, pot pies, and even vegetarian shepherd's pie), and the pecan pie is absolutely lovely - not only is the perfect mini pie for one (#sharingiscaring #butnotwhenitcomestodesserts), part of the proceeds benefit the Alzheimer's Association of Maine. What's not to like about a business that opens it doors and *immediately* gives back to the community?

Not only has Dizzy Birds been one of our favorite go-to spots in Biddeford, but they also catered our wedding of 100+ guests. And they did a spectacular job. The food was amazing and we got so many compliments from our guests. They had options for the vegans and vegetarians as well. Highly recommend!

To start, I love this place and have ordered take-out here a dozen times usually getting the spitfire plate. Yesterday I got the $13 buffalo chicken wrap, and was disappointed in the amount of chicken in it. It barely filled the wrap and was left with dry wrap as I inched my way to either end of the wrap. I come here for the quality, but failed to get a sufficient quantity to match the price.

I guess I should have known better than to order tofu from chicken place, but the veggie burger is good so I thought I would give their grilled tofu a try. Terrible, just a burnt taste. I got delivery and ordered 2 popovers and 2 cornbreads. Popovers were really hard. Out of this $20 meal(and a tip for the driver) the only thing I could eat was the watermelon!! I have adjusted my rating up one star since posting because I realize I have had good food there in the past. Today was a miss.

We think DB is one of the best places around. Food is not only good but creative. The vegetables are better than any other place we've eaten in the area! We hosted a birthday party there and all the attendees were impressed by the food:chicken, ribs, maple glazed carrots, mashed potatoes and GRAVY! Highly recommend! 5 stars in our book!

Love this place on any day and just want to mention their special holiday take-out dinners. My partner have enjoyed them for multiple holidays now and love the meals. If you do order these, be prepared to wait at your pickup time. I think we ordered online ahead of time and waited up to an hour, and more than a half hour at different holidays. The wait is the ONLY reason this didn't get 5 stars. That said, the food (once you get it) is amazing.

Food was amazing!! After a cold day of beach hopping, we needed a hearty hot meal. Service was great, place was cute and funky and very light and spacious. The spotlight is on the kitchen and food. Thanks for the pleasant surprise. We will be back.

For such a highly rated spot, I was surprised by how average everything was. I ordered the Rotisserie Chicken Sandwich and it was very unremarkable by comparison to the delicious look of the regular rotisserie chicken. Perhaps we just ordered all the wrong things, but it was very basic. Nothing was memorable aside from the Dizzy Bird Cookie.

A great meal and plenty of it. Hard to find good vegetables when you order delivery, but their veggies were delicious! Good, moist chicken and great tasting ribs. Enjoyed every bite. Will definitely order again.

We ordered chicken and the tofu sandwich. The chicken was AMAZING...the tofu sandwich seemed like a play on a falafel sandwich and I was hoping more flavor like the chicken.

Too me nothing special. Soup was ok, kale salad bland, macaroni salad super bland. Prime rid sandwich ok. Focaccia bread to intense in flavor. Overpriced & the tiniest chickens I've ever seen. My wife liked it. Next time she can go by herself. Tried it & wont return. Very cafeteriash.

Wish I could give more than 5 stars. This place has the best sandwiches! Reached out to DB for a catering order for my office. The customer service that Tom gave was outstanding. The food was amazing! The staff that prepared my order did a great job on the presentation of each sandwich by adding a piece of string. Looking forward to work with them again. I highly recommend placing a catering order for a office meeting, birthday party, or any other event.

Wow! The rotisserie chicken was pleasantly perfect in every way. The squash, yum! Thank goodness this little hole in the wall is close to home. Biddeford is becoming the new food hub of Southern Maine. I guarantee you will not be disappointed in the food and the staff. Next time a whole chicken is going home with me to appease my midnight snack demons.

My family vacations in the Ocean Park area every summer and we're always looking for new nearby restaurants to try. Dizzy Bird was an exciting discovery - a perfect lunch spot in Biddeford! First of all, the service was outstanding. The lady who took our order was personable, happy to answer questions, and made us feel right at home. A manager also came around to ask us how our lunch was - we really appreciated that extra touch! They also have a rewards program - we didn't partake because we're not from the area, but it's definitely worth signing up if you live nearby. For my meal, I ordered the chicken breast with mac & cheese and mashed potatoes for the sides. The meals also come with a choice of cornbread or baguette (I got the cornbread, very tasty). Everything I ate was wonderful - the chicken was moist, the mac & cheese was rich and flavorful... but the standout for me was the mashed potatoes with a side of gravy. Buttery, Yukon Gold potatoes mashed with the skins left in and a rich but not too overpowering gravy... this is definitely my preferred mashed potato style. The meal came to around $14/each for lunch, which at first seemed a little pricey - but each meal produced a huge amount of leftovers, so it ended up being a pretty good value when all was said and done. They also had some samples available at the front counter - I tried some pickled veggies and a piece of a snickerdoodle cookie, and both were great. Do yourself a favor and check this place out ASAP if you're in the area!

We have been driving by this place since we moved to Maine and we always say, "We need to remember to try this place!" With three kids and a crazy work schedule, we never do. Until Thursday night!! This place is killer. It is super clean, the staff is friendly, and the food is amazing. If you are a fan of those little itty bitty rotisserie chicken from Market Basket or Hannaford, you NEED to give this place a shot, you will never look at those birds the same way again! I can't wait to try it again. These chicken folk rock.

Food looks amazing! Take out is a little slow, but it appears to be worth the wait. Will update on food. Update: Food is as good as it looks. Chicken was amazing. My wife got the tofu sandwich, very good. High end sandwich with good fresh baguette and toppings. Sides were all good: mac and cheese, brussel sprouts, kale cole slaw, mashed potatoes, etc. Will return. It's one of the few places, if not the only in the Bidd-Sao area where you can get a good, healthy, high-end take out meal.

I used to to go to Famous D's next to Cabelas in Scarborough. Sadly, they did not come back in 2021. Trying to find a bbq rib replacement location. Dizzy's is not it. They do give a large portion of meat, don't know if it is smoked differently, or what, just not as tasty, the same to say, for the sauce, the beans and the mashed potatoes, gravy is good. The menu / pricing, hanging from the ceiling is not well designed. Only if...they were better than Famous D's, then $75 for 2 people, (no drinks), would have been justified. This included a tip, expected at the time of making the order, for a "pick-up" your food & bus your table, type of setup. If you have not be to Famous D's, then this might be ok for you. It was a clean and tidy place, with a small, off-street, parking lot.

This might be my new go to spot for comfort food. We both ordered the chicken breast plate that came with 2 sides and cornbread. It was just under $30 after tax and a couple dollar tip. Not only do you get massive portions, but the food is very good quality. The chicken was moist all the way through and had a delicious rub on the outside. The sides, Brussels sprouts and Mac and cheese, were both great as well, but the cornbread took the crown as best side with its thin layer of brown sugar on the top. The only issue we had was how long it took to get our meals...I think they ran out of sprouts and had to make more. Not a big deal since they're a new spot, and hopefully they get the kinks worked out.

Another excellent visit! We did the family with a whole rotisserie, sides were cole slaw, mac , cheese (my fav), baked beans, and kale salad. This meal also came with 4 very generous and delicious slabs of cornbread. Everything was excellent. Tender, juicy chicken. Baked beans were definitely homemade - easy to tell with the texture of the beans and the quality of the sauce. Kale salad was a great balance of crunch, sweet, sour. So good. Had to check out this funky bbq joint with so many 5 star reviews. Small inventive space with tons of retro charm and ambiance. They have a nice dining area that is clean and spacious. My wife and I loved the music! Fit perfectly with the environment. Now the food! This place earns its 5 stars ! The meat is tender and bursting with flavor! Ample sides and the best cornbread I've ever had. My buddies and I travel down south yearly for a golf trip and we always try to hit as many barbecue joints as we can find. This one stands up next to the best of them! Does a great takeout business as well!

Tasty food! We were starving after a long day at the beach and we decided to give this place a try-so glad we did. I ordered the chicken dinner which came with a lot of food. Half a chicken, 2 sides and corn bread. This chicken is delicious guys, seasoning was on point and it was juicy. The sides were ok, I definitely liked the Mac and cheese better than the mashed potatoes which could used more flavor. My cousin and friend throughly enjoyed their food as well. We were stuffed with goodness by the time we left. Great meal to end off a terrific day.

Definitely one of our new favorite spots. The price was reasonable for the amount of food we good, but the leg/thigh combo was rather small. We were under the impression that we would be getting more meat, but for the price that we paid we were pretty satisfied. About $11 for the leg/thigh combo with 2 sides and cornbread. Overall, we were very happy and would 100% be returning customers. Also, the cashier was extremely polite and full of energy. He was very welcoming and made it an inviting space.

Delicious, fresh, tasty food. From rotisserie chicken to ribs to chili and soups. Friendly service. Clean dining room and bathrooms. Ample seating. Delicious dessert selection also! Loved the fresh ciabatta bread for the chicken sandwich I had. Will be back!

Picked up a BBQ breast plate for lunch and was not disappointed. The chicken was perfectly roasted and was a large portion of chicken. Sides were excellent- cornbread, potato salad, and mac n cheese... I was surprised to find out the potato salad was vegan. It was probably the best potato salad I've ever had. Portions were generous as well. We live right around the corner from Dizzy Birds and will be stopping in again!

This place was amazing! Me and my wife wanted to try something new for ninth wedding anniversary so we got takeout from here. We got half a barbecue chicken a half a rack of ribs and three sides, corn bread and a dessert all for a really good price. Will definitely be coming back again.

What a great find! We orders the chicken for two with mashed potatoes and beans. It all tasted home cooked by someone that cooks very well! The restaurant had a cute vibe and laid back. We think it's our best meal we've had since we moved her a week ago. Oh and that corn bread was SO good!!

Friendly, clean, hearty cafe in charming corner of Biddeford. We tried the roasted chicken sandwich, Mac and cheese, vegan beans and brought home pumpkin roulade. Everything was delicious. Indoor and outdoor seating! They also had some local items on display, including adorable locally made chocolate turkeys! They are accepting Thanksgiving orders. The menu included many items that will require revisiting, such as the molasses cookies, roast beef, fish cakes, veggies. Delightfully diversified drink menu! Needless to say a beautiful drive. Hands down the best rotisserie chicken I have ever tasted. Homemade cornbread is dynamite. Mac & cheese is superb. Creamy & flavorful. Immaculate space. Well-curated decorations. Family operation, all genuine & wonderfully hospitable. A bit pricey but worth every penny.

Really enjoyed all the homemade comfort food choices. Fun little restaurant to eat at. We will definitely be going back again.

This is by far the best rotisserie chicken/chicken I've ever had! I've had my fair share of chicken from places of this "genre" and Dizzy Birds takes the crown! Do not come to Biddeford and not go to Dizzy Birds because you'd be missing out!

Must come to this place. Just finished the family stile ribs with sides. All was amazing. Could write a long paragraph but can't have to run to a meeting. So happy we found this place. Will come back

I needed a quick meal for my family after leaving a basketball game. We were all starving and forgot to call in until after the game so I was delighted when I was told it would be packed and ready in 10mins. The restaurant was easy to find and there was plenty of on street parking on a Saturday afternoon. The cashier was friendly and even offered a sample of some cake. Behind the counter you could see the rotisserie chicken roasting and the chefs prepping freshly cooked sides. A bean pot and ceramic cookware like you'd use for a family function held the already prepared hot sides. Now for the food. Every bite was delightful and reminded me of a southern home style experience. The chicken was juicy and the mac n cheese was thick and creamy. The mashed potatoes were so good I didn't even bother to put additional butter or top them with gravy. That says a lot! The brussel sprout/onion/cauliflower mix was cooked perfectly but we all agreed they needed a bit more seasoning. The portion sizes here are generous. We had plenty of leftovers (yay!) For $40 you can easily feed the suggested 4 ppl. You can't say that about many restaurants anymore.
