I was disappointed with my recent experience at this store. I accidentally purchased a bottle of garlic powder for $7.29 because I did not notice the price at the time. While I was loading my items into the car and glanced at the receipt, I realized how expensive it was compared to other stores. I then went back inside and politely asked if I could return it. Unfortunately, the employee named Thao responded in a way that made me feel uncomfortable. He asked why I didn’t check the price before buying it, which felt dismissive and unhelpful.
When I mentioned that the price was almost double compared to other markets, I was told to “go there and buy it” instead. I understand that every store sets its own prices, but customer service should still be respectful and professional.
I hope the store can improve its customer service in the future, as there are many other shopping options available in the area, such as Lee’s, Marina, Ocean, or Lion Market
