For the Love of Tang: 5 Spots for Assam Laksa in Singapore
"You've probably heard of foodies flocking across the causeway for a bowl of the tangy laksa at Johor Bahru's KSL City Mall, but the travelling time can be saved now as they have opened a takeaway stall in the basement of Hougang Mall earlier this year, and they're also making their way to the Serangoon heartlands." - Alethea Tan
Thick, sourish, sweet penang laksa. The fishballs are normal fried fishballs, coupled with the laksa soup, it's very appetizing. Only takeaway. Can request for noodles to be separately packed.

Broth is flavourful, sufficiently spicy and sour! Wonderful balance of flavours in every mouthful. Noodles are chewy and springy. Portions are good and affordable. Generous amounts of sardines in broth. Fishballs are okay, pretty average.

Their Assam laksa is so delicious and full of flavor. Noodles are the authentic kind. I also tried their Fishballs with Assam laksa soup too. Nice. High recommend D'Laksa!

4SGD for a standard portion, extra 1SGD for topping of three fishballs. Taste is so so, but if you want to get a taste of penang laksa without crossing the Causeway, worth trying.

Totally worth it. Very cheap and tastes really good. Sweet, sour, spicy and fresh! Took me back to Penang. I will go back again. They now have opened in Compass One mall too

one of the better ones other than homemade unless you have never tried it before
only suitable for takeaways and suggest you order couple more portions if the craving kicks in recklessly
don't need to venture the human traffic at KSL anymore...
