I’ve been a loyal customer of D’Leon’s since they opened—drawn in by the quality food and friendly service. Unfortunately, over the past few years, the Center Street location has gone downhill so drastically that I can no longer remain silent. last Tuesday I stopped by after work for Super Nachos and asked if pork could be added. After a brief pause, the woman on the speaker replied with an exaggerated and disrespectful “WHAT?!” I pulled up to the window, where the cashier (Elena R) confirmed my order with visible annoyance. I repeated my request, handed over my card, and then overheard her, through the headset, mock me in Spanish—calling me a “pinche pendejo in the drive-through.” What she didn’t realize is that I speak Spanish. She and her coworkers laughed, clearly thinking their comments wouldn’t be understood. When she turned back around and saw me watching, her demeanor quickly shifted—she walked off, returned with my card, didn’t bother with a receipt, and coldly asked if I needed anything else. I didn’t. The food was inedible. After a few bites, I tossed it—quality like that doesn’t even deserve a second chance. (See attached photos.) The behavior I witnessed wasn’t just unprofessional—it was outright malicious and culturally offensive. Whether this is how Elena R normally conducts herself or it reflects a broader culture at this location, it’s unacceptable. My advice? Avoid this place. The service is nonexistent, the food quality has collapsed, and the lack of basic respect for customers is appalling. I never thought I’d have to say this about a place I used to recommend, but here we are

Purchased 2 orders of super fries and when the order was delivered the fries were uncooked and mushy. I have previously had this item and it tasted amazing and was cooked fairly well. I figured the order could have been rushed so I called the establishment. I explained my situation and the manager replied “yeah” I asked why uncooked fries went out the door and she then said “ok” and hung up the phone. When I called back she declined the call the first time and the second time she answered the phone and said “yeah” no greeting, nothing. I then contacted door dash. Of course I don’t expect much to come from this review but establishments like this need to give the same service they do when we come in person to order vs doing a door dash or uber delivery.

Tripa taco was great but the regular size taco was a bit too big. I recommend the mini taco.

I got food poisoning and called next day to inform them about this. They not only hung up on me first time then manager in duty told me she didn't care basically and said she could care less if the health department was informed. This is how serious they take about severe food illness and food safety handling as well as hygiene. No concern at all.

I had the three hard shell tacos. The meat was tasty but the shells were slightly overcooked. The horchata was delicious. All in all it was very good. I would come back again. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Sauce everywhere in the bag. Barely any meat. I made one taco which you zee half eaten and decided to snap the pictures.... $13.60 cent for some pork fat in a ton of sauce. Garbage.

Went there this morning (8/21/2025) and had a hash brown breakfast burrito. There was a hair in it and it looked like someone had spit in it as well. Total trash. Never going back to this location. Disgusting.

I went for taco Tuesday. I had 2 ground beef and 2 shredded chicken tacos . They were both very good. The free chips and salsa bar were great. It had sliced onions, radishes, and limes.
