I mean, not only is it local to me. 3 blocks. But even if I was traveling through, I would make it a point to stop and have a world famous pizza let's do it clean, nice staff and friendly atmosphere.

My daughter and I came in at about 10:00 we were here in town to go pick up green chili. We're from Colorado springs. Anyway, we enjoyed your Buffet! It was awesome! The service was perfect! Totally on point! If you are down on South Santa Fe be sure to take in the Dew Drop Inn. You will not be disappointed.

Google
Unique taste that I've never had anywhere. It's a Pueblo staple. Sure you snobs from the East Coast might not like it but you also don't know what Green Chili is so...

Google
Sweet dough pizza! I know, sounds weird, but I was amazing! It’s like half way between a deep dish and a regular pizza made with dough that tastes similar to Mexican sweet bread. I normally like thin crust, but this is one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. It’s loaded with toppings and I loved every bite.

Debora Donaldson

Google
Wow! Joined a friend at the Do Drop Inn for an early lunch today. Service was stellar! Food was fantastic too! Eggs Benedict and for me and biscuits and gravy for my friend and we split a huge cinnamon roll to take home as we were both stuffed from our orders. Quick in and out! Great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner and they have buffets too.

Google
Great food and amazing service. The pizza isn’t your typical pizza. One pizza can easily be two meals or more (get a large pizza and a big salad and you’ve got lunch covered all week for yourself.) depending on how many people you're feeding. I’ve been coming here for almost 4 decades and always recommend Do Drop to friends and family. If you are looking for a great restaurant, look no further!

Google
Their Pizza dough is not something that you can easily find anywhere, it was thick and has a sweetness to it, very unique! The place is nice, has its own character. Our server was good too. Overall it was a great dining experience!

Google
I was pleasantly surprised with everything that they offered on their menu from burgers to Pizza. seems like they had it all they had some pretty good. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. just so you know it is a sweet dough however it did taste good we tried the Hawaiian pizza as well as the sampler. There was fried mushrooms, spicy green beans, fried pickles, Mac an cheese triangles. All our food was delicious

Marty M.

Yelp
Excellent pizza! We went for lunch and got there early. Yum! You can't go wrong at Do Drop Inn- I am glad I live close when I get the pizza urge! MM

Yelp
Incredible. Whether you order off the menu, or eat the Italian buffet - this place is top notch. Pizza is what it's known for - it's sweet and different - but they also have the best burgers and breakfast. Highly recommend!

Sam E.

Yelp
The pizza here is really bad. The pepperoni and sausage pizza we got had a really weird taste that made us lose our appetites. We also got a chicken alfredo pizza that was still raw. We also got an extra charge for the marinara sauce which we were not told about beforehand. The service was also really slow for the food to be so bad.

Susan C.

Yelp
Best pizza with original recipe from my ancestors. Cant beat the slightly sweet crust and excellent sausage and sauce. A must stop in Pueblo.

Elizabeth O.

Yelp
The dough is slightly sweet and pairs well with the savory toppings. These pies are huge and filling

Ben B.

Yelp
Excellent pizza. Had the large and there were 4 adults and we still only had half of it. Definitely will return

Yelp
I ate here as part of a work trip. And just like my divorce, eating here was not a thing that I wanted to do. But the similarities did not stop there. Apparently the food was somehow worse than that of my ex-wife, which losing her cuisine was maybe the only bright spot when she took the kids and the dog. At least a gentleman was kind enough to warn me away from the buffet, which was the first time that's ever happened. On the other hand, Do Drop Inn's inferior food quality does get me wondering we can leave dating reviews online as a courtesy, so maybe like this pizza here, someone could at least head in with a warning. However, the bad food was matched by the slowness of divorce proceedings. One has to imagine that the restaurant is staffed by former attorneys, which is the only way one could justify both the high prices and underwhelming result. Like the darkest days of my life, I just want my experience here over with.

Yelp
Best pizza in Colorado! Hands down...I've tried a lot of pizza places also in Denver and nothing compares. The cheese and toppings are fresh and the crust is crunchy, soft, caramelized jn some areas and it has a sweet taste it's truly unique. This place also offers a good selection of Italian food too it's a must try people drive from all over the state just to eat here

Jakson H.

Yelp
I've had many pizzas from them but I haven't always liked them. The pizza dough is to thick and sweet and it's way to pricey for a mediocre pizza.

Yelp
Ordered The chicken Parmigiana HOGIE THRU Grub hub .... There was no possible way I ordered the chicken parm entree since it was a push button toggle ..... but when we picked it up ... no sandwich but rather spaghetti noodles ? We didn't want to return it knowing it would be wasted and remade , so we ate it , and it was flavorful and good . A big plate of pasta was Not really what we wanted for lunch , but I would order it for dinner ! The bar area was very clean and cute but the bartender/server was a bit grumpy from the moment I said I was here to pick up my Grub hub order? First she acted like there was no such order, but I assured her I had phoned in to make sure the kitchen was prepping it ??? She reluctantly went to the kitchen and returned with my to-go container, said here you go and walked away being purposely evasive when all i wanted to do was hand her a "tip" and ask for some disposable cutlery and napkins since none were. Packed or Offered ? So minus one star for a grumpy greeter and minus one for getting the order wrong .... But I would give the place "another chance " since it reminded me of Cheers from television.... Other than the grumpy greeting obviously .

Yelp
I can't say enough about how Awesome this place is. Full of history and wonderful staff. Made me feel right at home even though I'm over a 1000 miles from home. Love the look and feel of all they have going on. The breakfast was GREAT too! If you haven't taken a moment to visit you should. Check out the back wall for more I interesting connections to family and Pueblo.

Yelp
Frequent this location regularly maybe 2-3 times per month. Prior to this, our go to location was Pueblo West. Breakfast is consistently good so that's why we come. On this instance, I decided to try the Gyro meat as the breakfast protein instead of usual bacon. We got 3 paper thin strips of meat that was greasy and overcooked. We tried one piece and determined it was too leathery and tasteless to enjoy, so I informed the waiter that the gyro meat was not good asked if I could replace the two remaining pieces with bacon. He wasn't interested in apologizing or asking exactly what was wrong with it. Bacon came out and it was perfect. When we got the bill, they had not made any accommodation for the bad gyro meat and charged me an additional $3.99 for bacon. When ready to pay the bill, I asked if they would please make an adjustment for the bad gyro meat still sitting there on the table (See picture). The waiter had to confer with management for about 10 minutes then came back with a new bill minus the bacon charge. He grabbed the credit card and in a snotty tone said that this is the last time they'll do this, inferring that I must come here and ask to have my crappy food replaced all the time AND that there would ACTUALLY be a "next time". The ironic thing is that I didn't ask for free bacon, I asked for an accommodation for the bad meat I didn't eat. Plus, no manager or owner was interested enough to even come by the table to see the sub standard food or ask exactly what the issue with it was. We will no longer patronize this location and I will say the Pueblo West location has a fantastic wait staff that are truly customer focused and professional. Too bad there are managers and wait staff with this kind of attitude... it will cost them much more than the $3.99 charge they took off the bill. SMH!

Yelp
I called to order a pizza, the woman told me it will take 45 minutes to get ready. That's a lot of time for pizza but the reviews were so good that we have to try it. Since we were at the Riverwalk, we arrived 20 minutes earlier. My husband went inside to paid for the pizza while waiting, but for our surprise the pizza was ready. No one call us to let us know that the pizza was ready before the 45 minutes. Bad customer service from the start. They have a private parking lot and also is plenty of street parking. The place looks clean inside and out. The decor inside is cute. The prices are a little high compare to other pizza places around. When we open the pizza box noticed that the toppings were minimal and some were under the cheese, as shown on the picture. We started eating the chewy, almost completely cooked pizza, and taking layers off to see if we like something but everything was bad. The tomato sauce had no flavor. The cheese taste like imitation cheese. The ham was regular sandwich ham cut in medium size pieces. The crust was very sweet. They claimed to add honey to the crust but it's taste more like sugar or cheap honey than real honey flavor. It was the worst pizza we had in long time. We give it away to some locals. If you aren't from Pueblo and want to eat good pizza go to Angelo's Pizza in the Riverwalk and try the Pueblo chili pizza.

Yelp
We LOVE their pizza! It is delicious, haven't been for awhile but will soon. When you pick up your pizza, whoa you know there is a pizza in it by the weight and won't let you down with the taste. The staff is always amazing and your treated like a good friend when you come thru the door. It's a nice comfortable environment if you decide to dine in also. Glad they are a local spot in Pueblo West. (They have another location also but haven't been there) i'm sure the other food they serve is great also but have only tried the pizza.

Yelp
What an adorable establishment!!! I absolutely love this place! My husband took me on our first date in Colorado here, and the waitress and atmosphere and food combined awards these 5 stars! Plus we felt so welcome, y'all have to eat here

Yelp
Well we are back on the road and reviews will be along our route. We found this place on yelp and decided to try it. It is true 30-40 minute wait for pizza. But well worth the wait. My guy and I split a white Alfredo pizza with chicken. While our friends got a Do drop In. Pizza and lasagna. All of it was so delicious. Our server, even though she was crazy busy was very friendly and took good care of us.

Yelp
Good food, love the meatballs. We have ordered off the menu and tried the buffet, everything was good. Employees are friendly.

Yelp
Supposed to be legendary pizza, but not what I was expecting or hoping for. Pizza was ok, but oddly sweet. Like sugary sweet. Pan style chewy crust. Nothing special, the combo pizza was pizza alright, but not overly flavorful or memorable.
google avatar

Michael E.

Yelp
when I arrived to this restaurant, I was overlooked by the staff. There was a "bigger party" than me so the waitstaff ignored me and catered to their needs. I didn't think much of it and the wait staff finally brought me my pizza. I should have checked the pizza before I left. I got home and the pizza crust was burnt and the overall pizza was slightly over cooked. I don't expect perfection but, BURNED!!! Anyway, if you're going to charge $30 for a pizza, please take the time to make sure it's not burned. thumbs down for Do Drop...

Christopher Blake A.

Yelp
This place holds a lot of great memories for me. My dad used to take me here every Saturday, and it was always my favorite pizza. I moved away from Pueblo a long time ago, but make it a point to go here everytime I visit. I don't think there is a deep dish like it in the world, and honestly a hidden gem.
google avatar

Patrick L.

Yelp
The service was average. The pizza wasn't that great but palatable. The nachos were ok. All in all this would be a good place to just get something quick. Would not go on a date here.

Kurt P.

Yelp
Great atmosphere and wonderful wait staff. Had the pepperoni pizza and spinach salad with the vinegrette ... the only issue I have is all the sugar. Incredibly sweet taste of the pizza dough. The salad dressing was also too sweet. They'd be perfect if they cut out the sugar.

Ryan D.

Yelp
I got the buffet based on feedback from the waitress that they were making multiple other pizzas to go out. With the feedback I had read about the pizza, I decided it was worth it. During my hour at the restaurant, a single cheese pizza was placed on the buffet. The rest of the food seemed old and reminded me of old cafeteria food. Some of the other food customers ordered looked decent, but would NOT recommend the buffet.
google avatar

Jackie H.

Yelp
Slow service on a slow day, messed my order up and it had to be remade so I wasn't ingesting food items that I'm allergic to. Took 40 minutes for our meal to come and no apology for the wait or mess up
google avatar

Fred J.

Yelp
Great place, thanks to Yelpers for pointing us this direction while we visited Pueblo. The server was friendly and attentive and the Pizza was very good, even though I don't typically go for deep dish, the pie was tasty and loaded with toppings. My only regret is that I didn't skip lunch. I was only able to eat 1 1/2 pieces. That being said it made for a great cold pizza breakfast the next morning. Well Done!
google avatar

Lisa L.

Yelp
The pizza was made from scratch to order and extremely delicious! The place is dated but charming.

Thomas C.

Yelp
This restaurant needs a lesson on customer service. I've been here a few times and get half service abd half rudeness. I'm not sure what these people's problem. I'm perplexed, I go in and ask if I can take two slices to go off there buffet line. NO! Is what I'm told abruptly and nasty. So i order buffet. I want to take it woth me once i got what I wanted. NO! again. Next time I meet someone to do business but needed an outlet. She says "Well I can't let you use outlet unless you order something. Of course we're going order something. I just am appalled by the treatment. The assumption of we're free loaders is terrible. I'm really mad about this. It embarrassed me in front of a client and these two employees when I politely and sincerely said thank you for taking care of us just had a matter of fact attitude. They didn't need thanked they just want tipped. They go hand in hand. Never count on a tip. Those are for friendly, out going, did I say friendly employee's not Dew Drop Inn employee's. Let them earn and live on minimum wage.

Marilyn F.

Yelp
I had BREAKFAST there yesterday and they have the BEST PANCAKES in town‼‼ I'm already a fan of their pizza but now my pancake house too
google avatar

Colleen H.

Yelp
Very disappointed. This place used to be a solid go to. Cold , soggy fries, dried up meat on the philly. Soggy, greasy bread on the sausage sandwich and cold onion rings. Not great service. I won't be back
google avatar

Tami M.

Yelp
Amazing food!! We came in for brunch on a Saturday and the breakfast menu was phenomenal. The portions were huge and we walked out quite satisfied!! I was a little high maintenance in my ordering, but the waitress didn't bat an eye. "No Problem!" Everything was amazing. We didn't have the pizza as what they are known for so I can't attest to that. I will say that we wished we lived closer so that we could have breakfast here all the time!!
google avatar

Constance A.

Yelp
This is a phenomenal place to eat!! The place is airy and bright they were even paintings on the ceilings I love the counters that are held back with River rock!!! Fun relaxed clean atmosphere!! We ordered the Charcuterie Platter, seriously this just walked the world you will not be able to get enough of their spicy tomato jam!!! We followed that with a Capicola and Fig Grilled Cheese sandwich OM goodness you will not be disappointed. The service was incredible the teas by pot are absolutely delicious loose brewed was my favorite!! If you're reading this please try this place you won't be disappointed.

Michelle K.

Yelp
The pizza was very hearty. We were delivering it to an office full of hungry guy and it brought lots of smiles to their faces!
google avatar

Jonathan B.

Yelp
I really wanted to like this place. The daily specials look amazing. The pizza looks awesome. The bar has good beer and good specials. Alas... The pizza was...OK. That's it. The toppings are great. They use a lot of cheese. The crust is just too sweet. It's like a savory pizza on top of a dense Hawaiian sweet bread or something. It's just not my style. The toppings are great and the combinations make you want to try every pizza. If deep dish, sweet-ish crust is your thing, you will love it.

Yelp
When you picture an All-You-Can-Eat buffet, a place that looks like Do Drop Inn probably doesn't come to mind. That's because it functions as a normal restaurant and bar too, but my family always comes here while making the trek from Denver to New Mexico. This means that we want food and we want it fast, so always opt for the buffet. Tip Number One: Don't go for a slice of a pie that appears as if it has been sitting out for awhile. Chances are, they will bring out a fresh one in the matter of minutes and it's well worth the wait. The older pizza verges on inedible. Tip Number Two: Stick to the pizza and pasta. I love the unique sweet pizza dough they use for their pies and their spicy sausages are delicious. Unfortunately their other offerings don't live up to the same standard. Last time I "dropped" in I tried their soup that tasted like spicy cheese dip and potatoes that were pretty awful. It's that sweet pizza dough that always has me eating until I am completely stuffed to the point where I don't want to get up. Thankfully, this is the midpoint of our trip so I am guaranteed a two-hour drive down South to let it all digest.
google avatar

Bryan J.

Yelp
Pepperoni pizza is fantastic! We also lived the bread chunks, which are basically pizza dough twists with marinara dipping sauce. Everything was fantastic- the service, the food... The only problem we had was not being able to finish our pizza.
google avatar

Cole B.

Yelp
This place is one the cutest little restaurants I have been too. The food was great, the lasagna was a little disproportionate with cheese and sauce ratio. The Hoss Pasta was delicious. Wait staff was very pleasant and friendly. Wouldn't mind coming back. Thanks!

Keely M.

Yelp
My husband is from Pueblo and when in town we always stop at Do Drop. Deep dish pizza with honey in the crust. I like the cheese pizza and dh goes for the Hawaiian pizza. Order ahead because these thick pizzas take time to bake. The new dining patio is nice. Hopefully more restaurants will add dining patios.
google avatar

Craig P.

Yelp
Great Pizza! This place was recommended to us by a friend and it didn't disappoint. All of the food was good and the pizza is really different and good. It is basically a deep dish pizza (not nearly as think at Beau Jo's) with an awesome semi-sweet crust. It is very good! Our server was very good as well. So overall we definitely had a great experience. We will certainly be back next time we are in the neighborhood.
google avatar

Yelp
We ordered pizza, ravioli, onion rings and a BLT. Everything was very good except the BLT had no bread. There was a bag of bacon and a bag of lettuce, tomatoes, onions, peppers & mayo but no bread. Calling the store was a waste of time. I was treated like a liar and given the choice of coming there to get the bread or a store credit. What a pathetic joke. I don't think there will be a next time.

Tyson M.

Yelp
14.00 bucks for just hamburger Patty.....3.00 for 1boiled egg like are you kidding me the burger was hard as a rock terrible service and manager did nothing about the prices very bad place don't recommend
google avatar

Brian O.

Yelp
We stopped into the Do Drop Inn this morning for breakfast. My wife had the Popeye omelet and I had the Italian omelet. The omelets were both full the of fillings that were supposed inside them. They both came with hash browns. Our breakfasts were very good. Service was very good.
google avatar

Sarah B.

Yelp
I wanted to love this place as it serves pizza that is unique and has a sweet crust - but unfortunately my experience was not positive. The pizza itself I would have rated a 4/5, but the service was extremely slow, our server was not pleasant or friendly, the spinach dip we ordered was runny and flavorless, and the final nail on the coffin.... I had a HORRIBLE stomach ache after my dinner that lasted over 8 hours. Not fun. I would never go back, and we didn't finish our leftovers. This honestly felt worse than food poisoning.
google avatar

Jim S.

Yelp
This is pizza that I have found over the years that people either love or hate. I fall into the former category. A deep dish pie with sweet crust and sauce, mounds of cheese and great topping choices including Pueblo green chilies. I've been eating this pizza for nearly four decades and I have yet to come across anything like it. 5 stars!
google avatar

Felix C.

Yelp
Best pizza I've ever had in America! It's a perfect blend of savory! I prefer these pies over the authentic famous New York style and Chicago's deep dish pizzas, which as a Chicagoan says a lot. Do Drop's honey crust with its amazing cheese and red sauce is unique. It really stands tall above all else I've ever had. Eat it fresh from the oven, or, refrigerator cold the next day. Yummm!!! Yummm! Once on a trip to Pueblo, I forgot my leftover box at the table. How could I do that? I was severely sad. :( Oh well, I will be back for more! Anyway, the staff is friendly and the prices are competitive. They have decent beer selections--could be better, but not bad. I'm not a huge fan of their buffet, but the breakfast menu is good--diner style food. It's a family friendly restaurant and sports bar; good for groups or couples too. You can't go wrong at Do Drop Inn. I seriously wish they offered their pizza nation wide!
google avatar

Norma R.

Yelp
We got bad advice about this being a go to place for sloppers. We instead got the green chili burger (they said it would be the same - def not) and chilaquiles. Fake Slopper had no flavor to the beef and was generally lackluster. Chilaquiles egg came out the wrong temp and had little random meat chunks in it from the griddle, which wasn't super pleasant for the vegetarian. Extra star for the $2 mimosa. Generally disappointing otherwise.

Yelp
When I come back to Pueblo, my family knows there's only one place to find me and there's one thing I'll be doing -- dining on Do Drop pizza. Is it artery-clogging? Sure -- don't want to know the calorie count. Is the wait unbearable? Yep -- plan on waiting a full 30 minutes from order to table delivery for this deep dish pizza. But boy, is it worth it! What? You've never been to Do Drop? Well, here's some general information for you. The pizza here is thick (more Chicago than New York) and the crust is just a tiny bit sweet (think beer batter dough). I particularly like how pineapple and Canadian bacon interact with the sweet crust. Do Drop serves other food - but none of the dinner items even comes close to the pizza. It's also open for breakfast, but breakfast there is not anything special (basic diner fare.)
google avatar

Kara Z.

Yelp
I have heard about this place for a long time and we finally visited Pueblo for the first time and it was top of my list to try. I was really disappointed! This is probably just personal taste but the pizza was SO soggy and it had way too much cheese in my opinion (and the cheese had a weird smell to it- must be a different blend of cheese than I am used to.) This is the first time in my life that I had less than one piece of pizza at a pizza restaurant. I didn't mind the sweet crust- it was the sogginess and cheese that I didn't like. My husband ended up eating a piece for lunch every day the week afterwards- he liked it pretty well and didn't want to waste it- but doesn't see the need to go back. It's probably just an acquired taste and I'm happy other people like it so much! We also had fried pickles as an appetizer and they were pretty good and a large portion. The restaurant itself is very cute and fun looking and the service was friendly. They have a good beer menu and we appreciated the daily specials. Overall it's probably just personal taste- this is very unique pizza for sure!

Yelp
I'm specifically reviewing the Do Drop Inn for inclusion on my BEST PIZZA list, because the pizza here is awesome!!! What makes the Do Drop unique is that they pour TONS of sugar into their dough, giving their pizzas a SUGARY taste when eaten --- yes, it may sound weird, but it is completely unique and it WORKS to perfection, when eating a cheese pizza Due to this unique feature, I sincerely call it home to one of the world's best pizzas! love and peace all!!!

Yelp
We came here for breakfast. It was good, not awesome. Biscuits and gravy, steak and eggs, cinnamon roll all very decent, if a little underwhelming. Obviously, this is a pizza joint first, so I may have to come back and try one of them...although the prices on the menu were high enough to make me reconsider. They must be VERY proud of them. I dock a star because of the horrible Bloody Mary I received. I asked for a spicy Bloody Mary, and what I got was a glass of ice, tomato juice, liquor (supposedly), and lime/lemon. No veggies, no spicy hot, no flavor whatsoever. I had to doctor it with pepper and Tabasco to make it bearable, and I still didnt finish it. Six bucks down the drain. I almost asked the waitress to take it off the bill. I dock another star for the overall lack of service. We were left standing at the entrance for at least ten minutes before we were shown to our seats. The place was full of people, and it looked like there was only one waitress serving everyone. What?? Of course, we didn't get the service we were hoping for. Too bad. This place was specifically recommended to me for breakfast and a good Bloody Mary, but this visit left much to be desired. I can't say I will be rushing back anytime soon.
