"There are plenty of doughnut shops in Chicago but few have gluten-free offerings like Do-Rite. These special sugary bites are prepared in a separate fryer and taste just as scrumptious as their regular counterparts. The everyday flavors includes birthday cake, Valrhona chocolate glazed, and cinnamon and sugar. Pre-orders for pickup and delivery are available here. There are multiple Do-Rite locations around the city." - Jeffy Mai

My absolute favorite donuts in Chicago. Do-Rite has a great selection of freshly made donuts, with everything from a Vanilla Bean Glazed to a Candied Maple Bacon (which run $1 extra because they’re so delicious). Their 50 W Randolph Street location gets pretty busy right before work on the weekdays, but even when there is a big line they move people through quickly and you don’t need to wait long. Grab one, six, or a full dozen!

Love their donuts. My favorite is lemon and pistachio one but we also tried chocolate glazed too. Must try when visiting Chicago. We did our own food tour and this was one place we wanted to grab a bite from. Cute little location on Randolph which is very central in downtown.

We ordered the cinnamon raised donut and the chocolate donut. The cinnamon raised was fluffy, fresh, and had cinnamon sugar swirled within the donut - this one was our favorite and was recommended by the cashier. The chocolate donut was a little dense and the chocolate on top just tasted like Hershey's chocolate syrup instead of pure chocolate. We came at 11:30am and there were limited options but still lots of people in line and limited seating outside.

Our favorite donut stop in the city! They have gluten free donuts, but make sure to get there early because they sell out! We first stopped two years ago and my wife was still talking about how amazing they were that I know we had to stop again when we were back in Chicago! They taste just like regular ones!

Get there early for the best selection. Very tasty donuts. They have gluten free and vegan options. You can also get curb pickup. Just call ahead. Their triple chocolate donut was awesome.

I wish I could tell everyone that this place is not worth the trip to keep people away from here. However, THIS PLACE IS FANTASTIC!!! I love this place. Every time I'm in Chicago, I make it an effort to stop here and grab a donut... Or three!!! If you follow a gluten free diet, this is your place! The head chef here is extremely nice and hospitable. He will answer any questions you have and make sure you know what you're eating. I will be back.

This was my first time at Do-rite and it was truly great experience! I saw the shop and recognized it was on my to-try list so stopped by to get a buttermilk donut however they were sold out. I asked for couple of other flavors and they were sold out as well. I exclaimed my sadness and told the girl it was my first visit so if she would suggest me any other must try donut and she thought for couple of mins and showed me a box with dozen of donuts and said this one had the buttermilk flavor and offered me the entire box! Turned out someone placed an order of dozen donuts but never showed up so the manager was kind to let me try all the flavors I wanted to try. Now I have treat waiting for my family and friends back in NY :)
