Tried to visit here on a Saturday for a late breakfast at midday, but the queue was huge! Decided to venture back on Sunday morning just after opening time, following a brisk walk in anticipation across the actual Finsbury Park. We had a full English breakfast, less black pudding, and a stack of pancakes, all served with sour bread toast and a pot of tea. Service couldn't be faulted, on point from the door greeting, the taking of the order, to ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the meal. Even one of the managers interacted with conversation over the Churchill crockery that they use for the tea as he had noticed me looking at the branding on the back of the saucer. It was a surprise to see such thought being made by a cafe. The hearty breakfast was served in a half-size cast-iron pan, very unique, and care had been taken in arranging the breakfast items in it. Also was really impressed by the vine cherry tomatoes served in the meal. Although Premier Inn do a very good all-you-can-eat breakfast at a comparably much lower value, Dobar's quality food was absolutely tasty, adequately filling, and the over indulgence of hot fluffy pancakes with a knob of butter, strewn with maple syrup was every bit worth the experience!
Will definitely visit again when in London in the future. Definitely a great way to start our leisurely Sunday.
