The 24 Best Brunches In London - London - The Infatuation

"When you commit to brunch at Dobar, you commit to a queue. How long you’ll wait depends on how close to 9am you get to this walk-in-only cafe. But it’s absolutely worth it for the XXL brunches at this Green Lanes spot. Whether it’s the hearty full English that arrives in a skillet pan, or the fluffy french toast covered in Nutella, clotted cream, and fruit, this is the right way to start any day." - jake missing, rianne shlebak, sinead cranna

"Having brunch at Dobar means committing to a queue. Whether it’s 10 minutes or half an hour really depends on how early you get there, but know there is always a wait at this walk-in-only cafe on Green Lanes. It's a casual, rustic spot with exposed brick walls, and a hearty full English that arrives in a skillet pan. The Best Restaurants In Harringay - London - The Infatuation

"When you commit to brunch at Dobar, you commit to waiting in a queue. How long depends on how early you get there, but the walk-in only halal brunch cafe on Green Lanes is popular for good reason. Whether it’s the hearty full English that arrives in a skillet pan, or the fluffy french toast covered in Nutella and fruit, this is the right way to start a Saturday. Dobar - Review - Harringay - London - The Infatuation

"When you commit to brunch at Dobar, you commit to waiting in a queue. Whether it’s 10 minutes or half an hour really depends on how early you get there, but just know that there is always a wait at this walk-in only cafe on Green Lanes. It's a casual, rustic spot with exposed brick walls, and the kind of cosy tables you'd happily spend a couple of hours sat at—if the food didn't arrive so promptly, and get eaten up even faster. Whether it’s the hearty full English that arrives in a skillet pan, or the fluffy french toast covered in Nutella and fruit, this is the right way to start a Saturday. Or a Tuesday, or a Wednesday. Or any day for that matter. If this was our local, we’d likely be here at least once a week. photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch Pause Unmute" - Rianne Shlebak

Lovely little place near the park. Service was friendly and the food was with us quickly, it tasted as good as it looked. If we lived closer we'd definitely be there more often.

Amazing food!! We had the Ottoman Days and it was the best poached eggs on yoghurt I’ve ever had. Zeynep, our waitress, was very friendly and helpful. Would definetely come here again.

Tried to visit here on a Saturday for a late breakfast at midday, but the queue was huge! Decided to venture back on Sunday morning just after opening time, following a brisk walk in anticipation across the actual Finsbury Park. We had a full English breakfast, less black pudding, and a stack of pancakes, all served with sour bread toast and a pot of tea. Service couldn't be faulted, on point from the door greeting, the taking of the order, to ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the meal. Even one of the managers interacted with conversation over the Churchill crockery that they use for the tea as he had noticed me looking at the branding on the back of the saucer. It was a surprise to see such thought being made by a cafe. The hearty breakfast was served in a half-size cast-iron pan, very unique, and care had been taken in arranging the breakfast items in it. Also was really impressed by the vine cherry tomatoes served in the meal. Although Premier Inn do a very good all-you-can-eat breakfast at a comparably much lower value, Dobar's quality food was absolutely tasty, adequately filling, and the over indulgence of hot fluffy pancakes with a knob of butter, strewn with maple syrup was every bit worth the experience! Will definitely visit again when in London in the future. Definitely a great way to start our leisurely Sunday.

OVERVIEW A good brunch spot! PLUS + Overall the food was at a top 3* level. Although the dishes were well-presented, the flavour however was slightly less impressive than its appearance. + The menu featured a broad range of side dishes. + Formally welcoming staff and general OK service. + The modern and chic ambience made it a perfect chinwag spot, although the space felt a little cramped. MINUS - The overexposed and tightly arranged kitchen created a slight distraction from the dining experience. - They did not accommodate simple requests, such as adding a side of cucumber. - The restaurant could provide a QR code self-payment option at each table for quicker, hassle-free service. TABLE ORDERS Breakfasts: * EGGS BENEDICT * EGGS FLORENTINE Extras: * SCRAMBLED EGGS * SMASHED AVOCADO * GRILLED HALLOUMI * SUJUK Dessert: * FRENCH LOVE Drink: FRESHLY SQUEEZED ORANGE JUICE

You can tell how much the staff care about the customer experience as they check on you and your food often. The food was amazing. Coming from Australia where the brunch culture is top of the game, I can say this cafe is the best brunch we have had since being in London. Would recommend!

Yelp
My sister in law said Dobar always has a line during the weekend so we wanted to try it. We went during a week day so thankfully no line. The traditional breakfast is what I got and it was delicious. Her meal and my sons kids meal were delicious as well. Definitely a must try. Place was cute and service great as well.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious food, friendly service, great crowd watching. Felt like I found the cool spot but it was a bonus because I came for the food. When you look around and want to try everything you didn't get, that's always a good sign.

Yelp
Can I just say fantastic! Come hungry leave satisfied. The cappuccino with oat milk was a dream, the French tourist was nothing short of phenomenal. I mean wow is all I can say about that French toast and the clotted cream. My friend got the OMG and it was indeed oooh my God! Be prepared to wait in like probably 30 minutes or so but some be discouraged its ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT!!
