Came here on a Thursday night, it was a tremendous evening of all you can eat seafood boil and live music. The food was amazing, good seasoning and love the melted butter on the side. It was a busy night but the guys working were covering it all, shoutout to y’all for the great service. I was asked multiple times if I was okay and enjoyed the experience, which we did. Oh and drinks were half off on Thursdays, heck yeah I’ll take 2!

So, I have to say that the entire staff was super nice and helpful. One of the girls working even talked with me about her dog and related to something I was going through with mine. The guy who took my order was very helpful and made great suggestions. We sat outside, and the environment was great. It was very relaxing. The food was beautiful, and their pickles with special sauce were amazing. I like shoestring fries, so those were good! The lobster roll had a good amount of lobster on it, and the bread it was on was great. The clam chowder had good flavor. However, I didn't get a single clam. The chips with it were good. As much as I wanted to love the lobster roll, I sadly did not. It was a bit chewy and didn't have much flavor. I would still recommend trying this place. I will be back to try other items!

Had a wonderful Mother's Day lunch here. It's a casual restaurant with counter service and excellent service. We started with the Garlic Lobster Fries (sorry that the picture shows an almost empty plate, they disappeared FAST). The Salmon was delicious. For dessert, I finished the Key Lime pie by myself, the rest of the table ate the Chocoholic. Both were wonderful. Definitely going to come back.

Small store front with counter order and friendly staff and a small menu. We ordered lobster fries, fish taco, lobster bisque, and the Connecticut lobster roll. The lobster fries were ordered by my brother and his wife, but they must have been good because they disappeared quickly. The fish taco was grilled, tender, and flavored well. The lobster roll was not large but very good. The butter was a little weak in flavor, but overall, I enjoyed it. The lobster bisque was creamy and had a couple of good pieces of lobster. The homemade chips were really good. Nice and crispy with just enough seasoning. Overall, it was delicious and worth another visit. Recommended two thumbs-up 👍 👌

I visited this location a few days ago for their AYCE Low Country Seafood Boil (shrimp, mussels, sausage, potatoes & corn). I’d only had a lobster grilled cheese sandwich from the Plano location, so I didn’t really know what to expect with the boil. Let me tell you… I WAS BLOWN AWAY!! Upon entering the restaurant, I was immediately greeted with a huge smile and hello from the cashier/waitress. (She was a beautiful young lady with dreadlocks. I should’ve asked her name. She was wonderful!) first impression starting off very well. After only maybe 10 minutes of waiting, my first plate of food came out. Piping hot! The seafood was fresh & very-well seasoned. The shrimp were easy to peel, which I appreciated, and the mussels opened and released easily. The sausage still had great snap to it. The corn on the cob was cut into the perfect small pieces, which made them very easy to eat, and the potatoes were the perfect texture - cooked well, but not mushy. The wonderful cashier stopped by my table to check on me and made sure I had a refill coming. The 2nd plate was just as good as the first. I left stuffed and very, very satisfied with my experience. I’d definitely recommend and will be looking out for the next seafood boil event.

Life music on a Thursday was super nice! The margaritas and other drinks are great! They have deal days. And awesome lobster rolls! I had no wait time at all getting good food and drink, and the staff are awesome!

A small, friendly, neighborhood gem for lobster and other seafood. My favorite is the Lobster Grilled Cheese…amazing!! Keep an eye out for specials and happy hour pricing.

Wonderful lunch here at Dock Local in Uptown! The customer service was AMAZING. I felt welcomed right when I walked in and Alex and Broderick made sure all of my questions were answered and even gave me further information on the company such as other locations, seafood sourcing etc. Highly recommend!

How have I not reviewed Dock Local yet? I always come before or after my haircut at Lure (shhh don't tell my husband). In all of my visits, I haven't been able to branch out from the lobster fries. Yes, lobster with French fries (and bacon and a sauce). And it's not just a pile of toppings and the fries under, they make sure it's layered so you have goodies all throughout. Every time they have been hot and delicious. Service has always been so friendly here. Definitely recommend this location. At some point I may try something else but those lobster fries are worth trying if you love a thin, crispy French fry and lobster.

It was okay. The lobster roll is the best part. I thought fish and chips the fries were good but the fish seemed to have heavy batter and felt oily and not best I've had. Can't say I'd recommend

This place has fantastic, fresh, and delicious seafood! I ordered the Dynamite Shrimp, Lobster Bisque (cup), and the Shrimp Roll. The dynamite shrimp was huge and crispy while the lobster bisque had a bunch of claw meat. The shrimp roll was PACKED with shrimp (not pictured sadly). I would highly recommend this place. The price for the food is unreal. Brady is an epic server! Go see him!

Good seafood and a friendly helpful staff. The baja fish taco was sizable and the northern bowl was tasty.

Went to dock local for an early lunch during our Dallas trip. We went around 10/11 and it was empty when we walked in since it was early. You order at the front and sit wherever you want. The rolls are pretty hefty and filling. All the things we ordered were a tad too salty for us but flavor was good. Be prepared to spend a good amount of money since it's seafood. Parking is street parking but there is a garage nearby to park as well. Such a beautiful area it's located in. The restaurant is, of course, sea and seafood themed.

A good place for fast casual seafood in the West Village. The food came out pretty fast and the service was good. Ordered the garlic lobster fries and it was amazing! Perfect for 2 to 3 people. Wish they would have added a bit more lobster and sauce to the fries, other wish would highly recommend. The fish and chips were good just a bit greasy. Overall it was a decent experience. The price is more on the higher side so be prepared to spend.

First time here, and it won't be my last! I ordered the Connecticut Lobster Roll with a side of fries, and it was amazing! The roll was perfect, served hot with garlic butter and chives, and the fries were crispy without being overly greasy. Definitely check this place out!!

First time trying this place out. Ordered via UberEats on a Sunday afternoon around 12:30 PM. Everything arrived on time, correctly, and according to order. Hot crab queso - Served with what looks like housemaid kettle chips since the chips were a bunch of different sizes. The crab flavor is not very evident. I suspect adding bacon would just mask it more. Really liked the kettle chips with this; gave a nice crunch. Shoestring Fries - These arrived soggy, but I suspect it was because of getting delivery instead of in-house. There's quite a bit of salt on these. Fish n' chips - Fish batter was soggier than I'd like them to be, but I understand since it's delivery. Tartar sauce added a nice complement - I typically like my tartar sauce with more relish, but you can always add more if you're at home. Fish pieces are not too thick that you can't fit into your mouth, but definitely a decent amount of fish with each bite. But it was a bit thick for my preference. Fish texture on its own was a bit dry - definitely need some sauce to complement. Hush puppies that come with it instead of typical french fries or chips have good flavor & texture - Nice and crispy on the outside and nice and soft and fluffy on the inside - kind of taste like they're made with cornbread or corn meal. Brownie/Cookie - Pretty disappointed that this was just a generic pre-packaged cookie. According to the photos online, it made it look like it was made in house, but it just taste like a generic prepackaged cookie - maybe some pretzel bits inside, I'm not sure. Overall, I would definitely like to try this place in house. Everything tasted above average. I've certainly had better fish and chips at other places, as well as better queso, so I don't know if I would recommend this place, but I think I'd like to try them again.

My best friend ordered me dinner from here. Considering how far they are from me, they had the food made quickly for it to be delivered in a timely matter during traffic hour. Everything was nicely packed. I got myself a Maine lobster roll with a side of Pier St. corn. They were definitely not skimpy with the lobster meat! It was big and juicy. They roll could've had more butter and mayo though. The chips that came with it was still crunchy and had a great taste to it. I like the taste of the Pier St. corn, but it would've been better if the corn was roasted. My best friend Melissa ordered a Maine lobster roll and some shrimp tacos. She could not stop raving about the tacos and she liked the chips a lot also. If you haven't been to Dock Local, go give them a try! Food: 4/5

I've been avoiding this place for no reason at all and I was happy that I finally got to try Dock Local over the weekend. The food was quite good and the staff was friendly! We got some tacos to try: garlic shrimp, pork, and Baja fish. My wife really enjoyed their taco tortillas. They were thin and light, but they don't fall apart, which was nice. My favorite was Baja fish taco because "fish tacos are the t*ts"! The garlic shrimp was decent, I didn't love the sauce but lots of nice size shrimp. The pork was delicious too. It seems like they have monthly specials as well, so I will like to be back to try those. The last thing I'd mention is that the restaurant was decorated well. Nice Xmas touch all over, brownie points for that!

First off if you're a seafood lover and haven't been here then where have you been? I have tried many rolls, crab dip and bisque; its all AMAZING! This time around we went for there seafood boil and I must say they did not disappoint! It's $35 for all you can eat; what a great deal! Lobster is an extra $10 but it was a nice size and the bread is amazing! Service: The manger came around multiple times asking how everything is and the server made sure to get us refills on any items we wanted. Overall: HECK YEAH WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR!!!

This place was fun! They had AC as well, which protected us from the Texas heat. The roll had a good amount of lobster, and the ambiance was nice and casual. The fries were crunchy and fun to eat because they were a little thinner than I am used to. I would come back again because the prices were pretty affordable compared to what I noticed from google searches around the area. The service was good too; you order and pay before your food arrives, and you pick where you want to sit. The bathrooms were also clean.

This was for a lunch date with my boyfriend, and we really enjoyed our experience at dock local since he raved about it so much. We had the hot crab dip as an appetizer and it was absolutely delicious the crab was fresh, and it was just very very tasty. We had the margaritas and I had the the spicy margarita which I loved, and he had the Huckle berry which he didn't love, but he ended up getting the spicy marg as myself. I was recommended to get the crabcake sandwich slider and honestly did not like it was not favorable on my pallet but there are a lot of people that do so don't take this review as some thing you have to live by however, we also had the shrimp tacos which were really really delicious and the salmon taco which was flavorful but a little dry so we would definitely come back to Zik local. The customer service was great. They checked and honest they had great options. It was quiet were able to eat our food and peace and enjoy our food with each other.

Holy moly, these fish and chips are so fresh, light, crispy, and sooo tasty. Comes with a side salad, hush puppies and fries (that are stringy and crispy). It's order at the counter type of place, and they got everything correct and was a good price. Margarita's are tasty and the lemonade mule was pretty good, but not very bubbly. We came a little before 7pm and there was only a few peeps, which surprised us. Everything was clean.

Dang it man! Why nobody told me about this place earlier. This is really a hidden gem. Service: This was a Friday night, and I thought this place would be packed. It was very friendly and inviting. The employees were very helpful and guided me through the menu to see what options of my desire. They were very professional and continued to assist me while dining with them. Food: I had the Shrimp Mac-N-Cheese bowl. It was really delicious. Seasoned very well and it was cooked to order. Nice portion of shrimp with the mac-n-cheese being cooked very well. In addition, they offer a nice acholic drink as well. I guess I was hungry because I could have used two of these bowls or least on to go...LOL! Overall: I truly recommend checking out this place. I think you would agree, they have some nice choices, and the atmosphere is great as well. Again, it was not busy on the night I went but I'm pretty sure that it can really attract and nice crowd.

So good! Loved the lobster rolls. Great location in a food court with many other options for all tastes. Plenty of seating options inside and nice outside area for hanging around.

Food was amazing! My only downside was the crab Mac lacked any cheese flavor which I'm assuming was due to the cheese being added because the regular max was delicious. The restaurant was clean and the staff were extremely nice and helpful when I can't to choosing what to get. Watching them out a soon on everyone's margarita was delightful! Note: Connecticut roll if you want hot lobster and Maine if you'd like it cold.

We ordered Maine Roll, Connecticut roll and pier st. Corn for lunch via Ubereat (#32, 3411F, 12:20 PM), the Maine roll and Corns were just fine. But the Connecticut roll was weirdly packed. The lobster meat was wraped in a foil, which we never asked to do that. There's no chives no butter included. Only two slices of pickles. So I had water boiled lobster meat and a dry bun for lunch. Very disappointed.

Dock Local is a personal favorite! They always have unique events that match the vibe of the spot perfectly. The food is always spot on and delicious. The staff is super friendly and they're the best part of coming to Dock Local!

This is actually so much better than I thought it would be. Been wanting to try it out for awhile and finally had the time to walk over. Got a spicy margarita, mango margarita, dynamite shrimp, garlic shrimp taco, and a Baja fish taco. Drinks were decent, carried by the spicy margarita. Food was great my personal favorite was the dynamite shrimp and the slaw that comes with it. The service was great, only took around 15 minutes to get food. The store had a very nice clean ambiance to it. Definitely will return for lunch soon to try more items.

Yes! Yes! Yes! I tell people all the time that fancy doesn't always mean it's good. This place is the epitome of simple, casual, and DELICIOUS. This is a nice, clean, super casual place that has AMAZING food & drinks. My daughter & I went in a Friday around 7pm. There's street parking available & a parking lot behind the business. No wait, service was great, we stood there for about 7 minutes trying to decide what we wanted to order, and we did not feel rushed. For food, we ordered the Grinder Roll and the Mac N Cheese Bowl w/ shrimp. For cocktails, we order the Captain's Punch and TX Citrus Punch! Total bill was $53 and worth every penny!

If I could give this place more stars I would. This was the first stop we made when we got off the plane. I found this place on tik tok & definitely wanted to try it. Our waiter we had was great & kept us laughing. He gave us shots of the local tequila that you can only purchase in the Dallas area. The food OMG was amazing. I'm just going to leave it there. This is a must try place & now whenever I come down I have to come here.

The food and service here is the best! Their rolls are amazing plus staff is extremely friendly. Definitely recommend this spot to anyone who's a seafood lover 10/10.

Super yummy! I got the lobster grilled cheese and a got a frozen margarita- in total it was roughly $25ish dollars for both but it was worth the price you pay ! You get a lot of lobster for the cost and it's seasoned really well! The staff were also really friendly and it was overall a good experience if you're in the area !

Dock local is a cool little spot. They serve alcohol and have naturally sugared soda for drinks which is nice. The service was speedy and the workers were really helpful when answering our questions. We started off with the lobster fries and they were delicious .8 only wish I got more house sauce on it. The fish n chips were delicious. A bit greasy but good nonetheless. I'll definitely be back !

I'm totally late on posting this review, but with due cause. Each time I think about how amazing Dock Local is, I want to cry because I live in San Antonio! I visited family on a very hot day during the summer, and after many fails, an attempt to find a pet friendly spot indoors was a struggle. I'm talking about a heat index of 104 degrees. I was with my service dog Jilly Bean and unfortunately had left all her official ESA stuff in a bag at home! I called and found a gem! They welcomed me literally with opened arms, and I caught no names because upon entering, everyone was "FRIENDS" ! So much pleasure in being greeted in such a welcoming way. Everything on the menu looked ravishing! We opted to start with a crab meat dip that was out of this world served with homemade potato chips I then ordered shrimp tacos and hubby went with some beef sliders and they didn't disappoint I was literally full with 1 taco!! It was at this point that I realized why everything was individually priced on the menu!! I've scheduled a trip for December and will definitely make a stop to revisit the yummyness that my heart and tummy so longfully miss! Thank you to all the staff for making my visit a very memorable experience!

The fresh catch (salmon) is always on point. I eat it twice a week. I haven't had anything on the menu that's bad, actually. Highly recommend. Also, everyone that works there is so nice and welcoming.

I change my mind!!! I frequent here so often now! I ordered the wrong thing the first time... the tacos are the way to go! The staff is so friendly I love it here !!

Visiting from out of town and I stopped to grab a pickup order and ended up sitting down inside. I am absolutely in LOVE with the Lobster Grinder roll. Fresh, great portion of lobster, and deliciously balanced! Popcorn shrimp was also cooked well with a great sauce for dipping. Ambiance was casual. I went at 6pm on a Wednesday but around 7pm the place started getting very busy. Would definitely recommend for someone looking for a good bite of seafood.

Arrived 5 minutes before closed ad they ignored my door knocks and didnt even look up I understand we want to leave by close but no acknowledgment sucked i couldve left a good tip

Wife and were in the mood for Lobster Rolls and found this place shortly after it first opened... Located in West Village the overall impression of the restaurant as you walk in is very clean, bright and cool decor. First time in we ordered at the counter and the employee was very helpful and friendly, thought he might be the manager but if not he was great to talk to and very helpful. Came here initially because the reviews were good and I know the area well from having lived a few blocks away for years, glad we did check them out because the lobster roll is fantastic. Been here a few times now and each time the food has been excellent, and for the price I really haven't had a better lobster roll in the area.

Dock Local was a great experience! I loved the nautical beach theming throughout the restaurant, feels inviting. There were even references to Nemo and Dory that I thought was adorable. Our server, Travis was very nice and offered us complimentary water for our wait. Now for the food, WOW! My entire party loved everything we got. I got the Grilled Fresh Catch salmon and my mother and sister both got Fish n Chips. We will definitely be back and I recommend for any seafood lovers!

Great food! And amazing customer service! Tried a couple of things, we loved them all! A must is the crab queso and Mac and cheese (added shrimp to ours). You can add shrimp, lobster or crab. The tacos were really good. Our favorite was the garlic shrimp. Will definitely return to try more items

Everything this is MORE THAN AMAZING! The lobster is delicate and delicious, the bread is soft and the meal itself is light and fresh! The service is always top tier. The employees are nice and really make you feel like you belong there and they want you there. The ambiance is super chill. You can go with friends, family, co-workers, me (only if you're paying lol). I dream about going back for the lobster grinder and every time I return, they never disappoint! Applause to the staff and ENTIRE TEAM @ Dock Local! Y'all rock!

I was going for a run and decided to stop here. Surprisingly, I wasn't in the mood for seafood and order the sliders. They were great! I suggest this restaurant if you need something delicious and fast. There's counter service, therefore it takes you about 15 minutes to receive your food! Be prepared to spend about $25-$30 per person.

First time here and it won't be the last! Delicious fresh seafood served quickly with a smile...how refreshing! My group of four all had different dishes and everyone loved theirs...of course I think mine was the best, the lobster grilled cheese that had plenty of lobster! Offered to add a cup of lobster bisque for a nominal price so I said yes, but I wasn't impressed with the soup. Crab queso was yummy and shared by the table. Parking behind the restaurant, luckily we were able to find the last spot back there. We all can't wait to go back!

BEST LOBSTER GRILLED CHEESE EVER! I highly recommend you try this delicious restaurant! The shrimp tacos, lobster grilled cheese and margarita are delicious!

We went Saturday around 5 pm and had the special of the day: a BLT lobster roll. It was nice and light. I did need to add a little seasoning. The fries were hot and fresh. I love the pickles. The staff was friendly and it wasn't crowded when we went.

It's my son's birthday so he took me here to try one of his favorite dishes. The lobster grinder!!! My first time to try a lobster grinder and WOW!!!!!! This place was fresh and clean and welcoming when we came though the door. The service was great,friendly and she had the biggest smile. I can't explain the feeling of enjoying the texture and flavor with each bit... if you couldn't tell by now just how blow away and engulfed in these dishes my taste buds awoke. I now can say I have had the best and will make this one of our favorite spots to enjoy.

This place is a little hidden gem. Never crowded and not sure why. Very good fresh food, properly priced drinks and nice atmosphere. The fish and chips were hot and crispy with perfectly cooked flaky fish.

I am absolutely blown away with every single thing about this place!!! My friend even said she would drive at night through a storm with a tornado if it meant coming to eat here again all the way from south mansfield!! We came before a Stars game and we were able to walk right up to order. There were so many options on the menu so we tried a little of each! Everything we tried I would get again with no hesitation with both food and drinks. I personally love the cold rolls so I got one and split another one with a friend! My friends also got the warmed Connecticut roll and loved it! Pro tip ORDER THE PICKLES!!! We ended up getting 3 orders to go! As well as their version of elote and another round of sealed drinks. My mom doesn't like "swimy food" so she got the pacific bowl and was thrilled with the size and flavors of it, so there's something for everyone it seems like! I can't wait to come back and try even more!

I had a taste for seafood and remembered that I wanted to try doc local. It was a Saturday evening around 8. It was empty except for one other person. We able to walk right up and order with no problem. I ordered the hot crab queso for appetizer and Connecticut lobster roll with fries. The food didn't take very long to prepare. The lobster roll was good. Could have used a little more flavor. Fries were the small ones but they were hot and crispy. It was very quiet with a tv on each end of the restaurant with sports on

Lobster Grilled Cheese was delicious. It was full of lobster and gouda. Everything on the sandwich worked well to create a yummy flavor. I was truly impressed. The bread was soft and grilled perfectly. It's a must try and I would recommend sharing as its rich in flavor. 4-Stars for the Lobster Grilled Cheese Lobster Bisque fell flat for me. The presentation was amazing. However, it was warm I should have sent back. I needed it a bit hotter. The flavor was blah. I didn't taste any seasoning. I was truly disappointed. I added black pepper and it was still boring. 2-Stars for the Lobster Bisque The pickles were a bonus. They were good and I loved them. 4-Stars for the Pickles Overall I had a great experience. I left happy and full. The Lobster Grilled Cheese saved the day. It was scrumptious and different. The restaurant it cute and simple and was clean. The staff seemed friendly and I would visit again. I must mention the chips are a NO for me. They are to hard and don't compliment the sandwich. On my next visit I want to try a cocktail. I also want to try the Lobster Mac and Cheese. I am hoping it is better than that awful bisque. In closing the Lobster Grilled Cheese is pricey, but worth every penny! Dock Local does a body good!

I have always wanted to try the Dock Local, and I had the opportunity to stop in at the At&T exchange hall and give it a try! They did not disappoint at all! Th3 Lobster Grinder was perfect! The house made sauce is scrumptious! I almost didn't get the sauce because it was mayo based, but it did not disappoint at all! The sauce, lobster, and lemon combined were chefs' kiss! I can't wait to go back! 10 out of 10!

Came back for a second visit to get my seafood fix! I wanted to try something different this time, so I went with the lobster grilled cheese. This was the best grilled cheese I have ever had. So much lobster in every bite! Super long cheese pull right from the start. Gooey, warm, and delicious! The bread is mouthwatering and so buttery. They give you a lemon that you can squeeze on the sandwich which I thought was a nice touch. Comes with their amazing house chips and pickles. Will get again! Wanted to mention how fast the service is. I walked in to a friendly hello and smile from the manager Tim. He took my order and said it was a great choice. 5 minutes later, my food came out looking extra appetizing. The place is very clean and you get great service. Not to mention, this place has the freshest seafood around. The prices are fair for what you get. I am full every time I come here. I haven't had a single thing I didn't like. This is the place to go for a quick bite of great seafood.
