The Best Christmas Bars In Philly - Philadelphia - The Infatuation

"Ah, a Christmas bar without mayhem. Dock Street in Fishtown doesn’t have a ton of decorations, but they are showing holiday movies every night through December 31st. Drinking peppermint espresso martinis while Love Actually plays could sell anyone on the fact that this is truly the best time of year. Walk into the brewery with a few friends (you don’t need a reservation), have a winter lager, and do the FreeFrom 25 Days of Christmas thing." - Candis Mclean

Dock Street Fishtown - Review - Fishtown - Philadelphia - The Infatuation

"For an easy place to drink a few beers, sip on a mezcal cocktail before heading to dinner nearby, or take a casual date, Dock Street Fishtown is the spot. It’s seemingly small from the outside, but there are plenty of booths and seats at the bar that you could comfortably sit at with a small group. On the walls, you’ll find more nautical figurines than Ariel’s secret stash in The Little Mermaid, along with lots of ocean-themed art. When it comes to food, there’s a lineup of piadina sandwiches(try the red curry chicken and Caprese), dips, and marinated olives. Obviously, they have a long beer list (and they’re all great)." - Candis R. McLean

Dock Street Fishtown is a phenomenal location to host an event. I recently celebrated my 30th birthday here, and could not have been happier with how the event turned out. The food from their catering menu was great and reasonably priced, the ambiance of the space was inviting and a perfect size for the number of guests I had. Ebony the bartender was exceptional with both the cocktails she made as well as her service and making all my guests feel comfortable with her energy and conversation. I will be recommending this space for future family and friend events of the like! Thank you Dock Street for making my birthday one to truly remember!!

This place is a hidden gem! It’s clean and beautiful interior. I had a great time with a group of friends and our bartender Noah was super welcoming and knowledgeable about all the drinks. I highly recommend if your around this area to stop in and get a bite to eat and a drink to wash it down!

John is the bee's knees. Beer is top notch. Cocktails are stellar and unexpected for a brewery. The gang also has their own mezcal which is rad. Will like and subscribe.

What a swell place to grab a drink! John the bartender is the best. Dope cocktails, awesome IPAs, to-go make your own Pizza kits! They make their own mezcal! Get off the real train and step right into the booze train. Cheers!

Beer was fine, didn't really stand out to me. I had the smoked trout & pimento cheese dip - which was good, but *tiny* for how much it cost. I like the Washington Avenue location much better

Yelp
Great beer selection and they actually have a really delicious espresso martini! The bartenders are always friendly and provide quick service. The only thing I would say is that the atmosphere is a little quiet and awkward sometimes. Could be improved by just turning up the music a little bit, dimming the lights slightly, and I also noticed that it's a little echo-y so some sound absorbers could be needed too. Otherwise, a nice stop on our weekend nights out!

Yelp
I really like Dock Street's beer and often stop in for a couple 4-packs. They usually have same selection of cans on tap so you can sample them. It's a pretty small place and focused on their beer with some lighter food options. Everyone is really nice and I hope they do well here.

Yelp
Lots of pricey drinks and limited choices, this is more of a tasting room at this time. They had a very small snack menu but its currently unavailable. It's still an alright spot to sit and have a drink though.

Yelp
A welcome addition to the Front St. corridor north of Girard. I took a chance on opening night to snag a bar seat on my way home from work. Drank a Rye IPA and the Citrahood - both were tasty and cold. The ambiance was lively with the sun peeping through, and I was content glancing at the 2 flatscreens behind the bar in between small talk with other patrons seated next to me. Food menu consists of light fare which I did not order this time, but looked good: cheese board, marinated olives, smoked trout spread, among others.

Yelp
Not a great selection, slow service, and not great energy (e. g., not cocktail bar energy nor sports bar?). Odd experience overall.
