We loved having our wedding at Dockside! The servers, bartenders, and staff were amazing and made sure we always had enough food and drinks. The space (and fortunate weather) put on a great showcase of Seattle to our 81 guests who were all visiting from elsewhere. The venue is in a local iconic seafood spot right on Lake Union, which has beautiful views for those visiting. We so appreciate Katie Melvin and the coordinating team's attention to our needs, the swift responses to constant emails, and the time in making sure our big day went well. We feel so lucky to have made such special memories at a venue/restaurant we're excited to point out and come back to in future years!

I was so excited when Dukes came out with a dedicated event space. Timing was tough because this was just prior to Covid but they've come back in full swing and glory and I am so happy and grateful! The space is absolutely beautiful with a luxury vibe as you're right on the marina; luxury yachts are all around you. It is a very easy space to manage logistically and moving from the outdoor space to the indoor space comes off without a hitch. Finally the food quality is unparalleled! Most venues are just using say for example Atlantic farm-raised salmon...😒 Not here at Dockside. The food is top-notch and fired minutes before it's served.

Google
Such a great spot for a wedding: the food was amazing, the view is interesting, and even parking is easy for guests. Please note that you're not actually allowed to take photos on the adjacent private dock, HOWEVER, a random boat owner on the dock invited myself and the couple out there which is how we got the photo with the space needle in the background. For other photos we went to a park before the ceremony.

Did not disappoint after a long day of work!! Everything our group order was so yummy; the Mac & cheese, risotto & Caesar were so good! Very nice view of the marina.

Dockside is an iconic venue and is the epitome of a curated Seattle experience. We had not been to Duke’s prior to beginning our wedding planning, but they were highly recommended by our planners. We chose Duke’s based on their values: commitment to sustainability; a livable wage for its employees; and exceptional customer service. When we first came in to tour the space, Danae realized that we hadn’t been in and treated us to a crab cake. We were extremely impressed with the customer service and the kindness of the staff. Staff was clearly briefed beforehand, and thoughtfully greeted and congratulated the bride and groom by name throughout the night. The venue itself is situated along the waterfront, which allowed us to divide up the ceremony, dinner, and dancing sequentially, making the venue feel cohesive. Our 130 guests were comfortable with both the outdoor and indoor spaces. They loved photo opportunities on the patio at golden hour overlooking the marina. Duke’s catered a plated dinner for us, and was incredibly accommodating to our guests dietary needs, including gluten-free, vegetarian/vegan, and food allergies. Several guests actually chose to go back to Duke’s to dine again the day after the wedding, which is perhaps the best possible endorsement of the food! Thank you Danae and Duke’s for making our day special and for facilitating a fantastic meal.

I recently had a great dining experience at Duke's on Lake Union. The combination of a delicious meal, a stunning sunset, and a seat on the balcony with a view of Lake Union made for a truly memorable evening. The menu offered a variety of seafood options that were expertly prepared and bursting with flavour. To complement the meal, their cocktails were outstanding. The staff was attentive and friendly, ensuring that every aspect of the dining experience was enjoyable. I highly recommend Duke's for anyone looking to enjoy a fantastic meal with a breathtaking view and fantastic cocktails.

Had the most beautiful wedding at Dockside at Dukes last weekend. I can’t rave about it enough. From our first visit over a year ago we were sold by the views of the water. Throughout this year we worked with Venue Coordinator Katie and she was a DREAM. Any question I had she answered, responded quickly, and was an overall joy to work with. We really leaned on her with help of timing and she had it all under control. Come the day of the wedding it was raining all day but had our heart set on an outside ceremony. We were able to make the decision just a few hours to have it outside and so glad we did! The sun came out right on time. Jessie and the rest of the staff were incredible. Kind, thorough, and so joyful throughout the day. The food is amazing! If you're wanting true PNW food for your wedding this is the place. The crab cakes apps were a huge hit. And the signature cocktails we were able to create with our drink package came out perfect. There are so many food and drink options we could have at our wedding. Loved having so many options! Overall cannot recommend Dockside enough. If you’re wanting a by the water venue with fantastic food, amazing staff, and stunning views this is the place to have your celebration!

Google
Love the happy hour and desserts here! Great fresh seafood! Cool interior and friendly service! We had a bunch of the single service happy hour items and the stuffed shrimp and clam chowder to all share. It was so tasty! Coconut shrimp were great! The shrimp and crab cocktail was the best. Loved the shrimp ad scallop screwer. The desserts were excellent. We tried the mulberry pie and the chocolate/mocha ice cream desserts. Both were excellent!

Yelp
We had lunch at Duke's and the food, service and atmosphere were all perfect. Very enjoyable meal. Tasteful table setting. comfortable chairs and relaxing view of the water. We will be back! Thank you!

Yelp
Beautiful ambience, excellent service and yummy food! The maple bites and crab cakes were delicious. The warm bread and butter was perfect to soak up the sauce. Thank you a memorable dinner on the water!

Yelp
Dukes is the real deal. Whenever I have friends in town, we go to dukes. Whenever I have family in town, we go to dukes. If we want to celebrate, we go to dukes. The food is just really really good. Crab cakes always impress. As a new englander here in Seattle, their New England clam chowder is the real deal. They also have a decent vegetarian and GF menu, if you need that! It's expensive, but you get quality food every time. And they give you a free entree for your birthday with their online rewards program.

Yelp
Dukes hit the spot but didn't wow us. Dukes was one of the spots we tried while in PNW. The service and location were great. Everyone was nice, the place had huge windows overlooking the bay, cool decorations etc. We started with some fresh oysters which were good. I can't quite credit dukes for that though. I will say their cocktail sauce was very good though. Next we tried the crab cake and it was quite good. The salmon Cesar salad and the crab stuffed cod came next. While nothing was wrong with either of them, they were just okay. They didn't have a wow factor. We'd happily eat it again, but there was just nothing that set it apart. Now the chowders were disappointing. Listen... chowder should be kept simple. I think a lot of places try to spice things up, give it their own twist to stand out but in my opinion, the more basic you came make it, the more you'll stand out. I'd happily take the chowder from Ivars (a local casual fast food chain) over dukes. It tasted too seasoned. It was overloaded with a taste too, I think it was thyme, could be wrong on the spice, it was just overpowering. 3 stars mainly because for the price, we wanted a wow factor which we didn't find (-1) and the let down of a chowder (-2). Not a bad option by any means though.

Yelp
4 1/2 if I could do half stars. We went in thinking it would be just an "okay" three star meal, more a touristy spot than good eating. However, it went well beyond our expectations. We all left stuffed and happy because we couldn't stop eating. As a group we ordered several different appetizers to share. So good, we ordered another round. These apps could be a meal. The "Soon-To-Be-Famous Alaska Weathervane Scallop Ravioli" (Seared Scallops with freshly made pumpkin & mascarpone stuffed ravioli with a white wine-garlic-butter sauce) was delicious. Everything was cooked perfectly.

Yelp
I was in town for a business trip and the office I visited on 30OCT2024 recommended that I eat at Duke's. The food was amazing! Gwen C was very sweet amd took good care of me. The sourdough bread was warm, crusty, and tasty. I had the maple bacon wrapped seafood bites, which were delicious. I know it's a restaurant standard to leave tails on prawns and shrimp, but it is hard to remove the tail when the food is hot and messy. For my entree, I had Seattle's Best Crab Cake with mixed vegetables and lobster mobster chowder. I ate everything and enjoyed it all. Thanks Gwen for great service!

Yelp
Great quality food, clean bathrooms, nice ambiance, and great service! My family and I visited this restaurant while traveling in Seattle. This has become one of our go-to spots when we visit Seattle!

Yelp
Pretty large menu. Massive oyster list inside but only one available that night. We ordered a scallop ravioli, 3 salads, soup, and oysters. The ravioli was tasty, salads as well...although the small sized salad was quite small so if you like your entree salad I'd suggest the larger size. Fabulous warm bread. Nice water views if you luck into a window or patio table. Service was friendly and helpful, but the food was a bit of a wait.

Yelp
Duke's is a nice restaurant on South Lake. Gorgeous scenery of the water, boats, and part of the city while dining. The interior is decorated in a classic nautical theme. Four restrooms and full bar Parking - you have to pay for parking regardless of whether you are dining at the restaurant. Minus -1 star. The service was great, especially from our server/bartender, Willow. Friendly, attentive, and helpful. (5/5) Complimentary Bread - sourdough. It came out nice and warm. We ordered a couple of things from the HH menu. Award Winning Clam Chowder (small bowl): All natural, New England style, nitrate-free bacon, creamy, and herby (5/5). I can see why it's award winning. But my only complaint was that it was served in a very shallow bowl and not really filled to the rim or lip. Clam Lover's Steamer Clams: local Manila clams with butter, garlic, white wine, fresh basil, tomatoes, & rosemary bread (3/5). Some of the clams had a lot of sand in them. So that was unpleasant. The broth was ok - not as flavorful as other places. Blessed by the Pope Cioppino: Fresh Dungeoness Crab with Alaskan Salmon, Halibut, Cod, Wild Mexican Prawns, and local Manila Clams (3.5/5). The seafood was fresh and cooked well. I thought the broth was just ok. Complimentary Peerless Pier Pie: Lopez Island Creamery chocolate and espresso ice cream layered in a cookie crust with all natural chocolate sauce, homemade whipped cream and topped with toasted almonds (4/5). The ice cream pie was delicious. Seattle Cola - locally brewed cola. It was worth trying, but I like the bigger brand names Again, it's beautiful to walk around afterward to see the South Lake and surrounding scenery.

Yelp
Okay so let me start off by saying that the award winning clam chowder here gave like place chowder a run for its money. I can't tell which one is Seattle's best chowder between them, the flavors are a little different but both of them are incredibly delicious. I will say this, when you combine the excellent chowder with the beautiful view, it's a clear winner to dine at dukes . The lobster chowder was pretty good too but it sort of paled in comparison to the clam chowder. The calamari steak was great and I was actually really happy that I got to eat that because it's rare that you see this on a menu: everyone serves your typical calamari rings everywhere but the calamari steak is a rare find. The crab cakes were excellent, or should I say crab cake (we didn't realize only one cake came per order haha). I'll tell you what I liked most about it, we noticed that they don't skimp you on the crab, the crab content is very high compared to most crab cakes that use fillers to cheapen their product. As a result of us liking the crab cake so much we ordered the crab cake sandwich. This was also a solid choice. I will say this, some food came cold and had to be sent back. The manager made sure it came hot on the next round, I didn't dock them any stars for it because the overall experience was stellar.

Yelp
Visited Duke's Seafood SLU on a weekday for happy hour. Food/ beverages Ordered small bites like fries and dessert. Fries were crispy and served with 3 different dipping sauces. Dessert was surprisingly delicious with generous portion. During happy hour, cocktails are $3 off and averaging between $10 and $12 each. Customer service I was slightly disappointed that granted we had a reservation, there was still about 10-minute wait to get our table ready. Service is generally slow. So if you are in a rush, this might not be a place for you. Ambiance We got the covered patio seating where you can the view of the Lake Union. It's very relaxing and nice hangout spot especially on a sunny day.

Yelp
As a gluten free gal, this is one of my favorite spots for seafood! They have tons of gluten free options and even feature gluten free chowder. I also love that the chowder comes in so many different sizes so that I can sample a few if I don't want it as a meal. My happy hour go to is the deviled eggs. They are pricey but delicious! I also loved the chopped salad. The view and ambiance is lovely- we loved watching the boats and the water and even saw a blue heron from the table. The servers are friendly. We ordered Aperol spritzes and our server didn't know what those were. She came back with the completely wrong ratio and garnished with a lemon instead of a classic orange. She was young and seemed new, plus whatever she brought was pretty good, so it didn't ruin our experience at all. This will always be my go to for seafood happy hour with a view! Yum!

Yelp
Came here for lunch with my mom and niece who were visiting. I cannot remember if I had to pay to park. The place was busy with the summer crowd. Pricey seafood by the water, but my mom enjoyed the crab cake sandwhich I had the cod and chips, which were good for my cravings. My niece really enjoyed her burger. Good service.

Yelp
After touring the Space Needle, we wanted some place that you can only get in Seattle, and Duke's was exactly that! Absolutely loved sitting on the patio watching all the activities taking place in Lake Union; from rowing practice to float planes coming and going every 10-15 minutes. It was fantastic! Our server was a little awkward, but the food was also very good. All in all, a great place to stop in and soak in Seattle.

Yelp
This place exceeded expectations on every level!!!! Omg!! I would give 10 plus stars, the views, the aaaahhhhhmazing seafood!! This place takes great care of their patrons to the very detail... I appreciated being served in this sparkling wine glass! Yes! Fine dining without the stuffiness ... best place I have gone in a while AND PLEASE DONT CHANGE A THING because I can't wait to visit again!!

Yelp
Duke's was a cute restaurant for our last evening in Seattle. We chose to sit outside, so the views of the harbor were nice. We ordered the crab cakes, the crab dip, seafood salad, Caesar salad, clam chowder, and oysters. We also received free bread and butter. My favorite items were the crab cake (they only gave ONE crab cake, which was criminal), the oysters, and the free bread LOL. (They give more bread if you ask for it.) I didn't care for the other dishes. The Caesar salad was so plain and disappointing. The crab dip was too heavy. My friend also ordered a Bloody Mary and she said that wasn't good either. For dessert, we ordered the marionberry pie and vanilla ice cream. It was so good!!
google avatar

Marc H.

Yelp
Met up with local family at Duke's for dinner. The service was impeccable. Lots on interesting seafood options. The oysters were smaller than what we are used to in Florida but still delicious. I forgot to get a picture of the Bloody Mary, but the flavor was very good with shrimp, olive, and pickled asparagus skewered in it. I got the Dungeness Crab stuffed Halibut, and my wife got the Duke's cheeseburger. Everything was fresh and tasty. My wife really liked the bread they brought to the table. The experience was the best. The view of Lake Union was beautiful with a cool breeze coming into the windows (no Florida June here!). Evidently, it can be a real challenge to get a reservation here so keep checking back. Also, parking can be very difficult to come by. You can valet, but even better, get an Uber in. Would love to come back here!

Yelp
Always delicious happy hour is wonderful and service was great! This place is a must especially with a water view.

Yelp
Food was superb as always. Our server was amazing, he had such great energy and the view was so cute. I love Dukes and this was my first time at the South Lame Union location. I will definitely go back to this specific location again and again.

Yelp
I would give Duke's 20 stars if I could! Of all the places we dined for seafood, while in Seattle, this was a phenomenal lunch and by far the best place we visited. The freshness of the seafood, great views on the deck, and first-rate service made for a memorable lunch experience. The oysters were fresh and very meaty and tasted great with the sauce complements. I tried a "dinghy" of clam chowder and a bowl of the lobster chowder. I love that Duke's also gives you the recipe for these rich, creamy soups. The crab cake really is the best in Seattle, and the chopped salad, prepared Duke's way, was easily shareable for several of us. Great wine and cocktail list here, too. I wished we weren't too full for dessert, because I am sure it must be equally as good as everything else we tasted. We paid over $375 for lunch for 5 of us. But it was worth it for such a decadent meal with a view.
google avatar

Martè T.

Yelp
During our recent trip from California to Seattle, WA, we made a much-anticipated stop at Duke's Seafood. The experience was nothing short of outstanding. Starting with the clam chowder, it was creamy, flavorful, and packed with tender clams. However, the real star of the meal was the Rockin' Rockfish Tacos. These were hands down the best fish tacos I've ever had. The rockfish was perfectly cooked--crispy on the outside and tender on the inside--paired with fresh, vibrant toppings that elevated the flavors. The service at Duke's was excellent, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. Duke's Seafood is a must-visit for anyone in Seattle looking for top-notch seafood.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing! I had an overnight layover in Seattle. I arrived late so I didn't get to do the touristy things I wanted to. But I looked for the best seafood I could find. And I think I found it. I started off with a salad which was absolutely delicious. Then I had the double dinghy where I was able to try two of the chowders. I had the classic clam and the Monster lobster. Man, I'm sure that was the best clam chowder in the states. So flavorful and hearty. And the seafood mixed grill dish topped it all off. The crab cake was no filler. The shrimp were cooked perfectly and flavored well. The scallops were too. Perfecto!
google avatar

Tony P.

Yelp
First off, our server was fantastic. Very friendly and attentive. He is what every restaurant needs! The environment is very cool. Views of the lake from inside and out. We sat on the patio and it was lovely. Views all around of Lake Union. Now for the food. Amazing piping hot sourdough bread and butter. We had the Coco Loco Prawns appetizer, bowl of clam chowder, and the Wild & Bleu Blackened Salmon Salad, Un"Chopped Seafood Salad. Everything was amazing from beginning to end. It is a must try. Enjoy!
google avatar

Maryn P.

Yelp
I came to Duke's for lunch during my work day and it was fun. I'd love to come check out Duke's during the summer because I can see how amazing their patio would be. For this lunch, we were seated inside and the service was really fast. I ordered the rockfish fish taco and I was a little worried ordering only 1 thinking I'd still be hungry... thank goodness I only ordered one. That thing was massive. It came with bread and chips and salsa. The salsa was a tad bit bland but the taco itself was pretty good.
google avatar

Alicia G.

Yelp
I ate here while on a business trip for work and I'll give it a solid 3 for food and 4 stars for all around customer service and food. It was a nice setting, we sat outside near the water and had the heater on us plus gave us blankets. We ordered the scallop ravioli, chowder sampler (lobster and original) and a dessert. Everything was good, but not amazing. Like I would come back but just wouldn't run back to eat here as a first choice. I would say it was flavorful but bland which may not make sense but most things could have been a little more seasoned. You could tell the concept but not quite over the top for me. And that was the thought for all of us. Our waiter was great, the hostess not so much.
google avatar

Dan S.

Yelp
We arrived at 5 without a reservation. While the place was still empty we were told there was only seating at the bar or outside under the heaters. A little weird for a weekday night (made weirder when we left and there were still vacant tables). But we managed outside (blankets provided upon request). Started with a great original margarita. A little small but very tasty. Got some fresh oysters. Really good and fresh. The fish tacos were a mixed bag. The fish is great and the tacos are big. These are not street tacos. But the side was basically a few tortilla chips. For $28, it's a bit priced high. Service was great. And it's a cute place right on the water.
google avatar

Macy B.

Yelp
AMAZING!!! Went in today after being out on the water. Everything was perfect, the service, the style, the view, and the food. We ordered the steamed clams as an appetizer and it was so buttery and delicious. My partner got the crab cake sandwich with the sweet potato fries, i don't even normally like sweet potato fries but these were so good. The sandwich was a little soft for me but i'm a big texture person and it was still good. I got the Stuffed salmon but with jojos instead of veggies and i'm so glad i did because it was fabulous. I can't wait to come here again!
google avatar

Minty O.

Yelp
The seafood dishes are covered in cheese and cream and a lot of butter. In Seattle where seafood should be fresh, this old school seafood restaurant could use a menu face lift. I watched and read the origins story of this restaurant and maybe the cooks need to dial back to the basics. I know as cooking goes, the more often a recipe is used and followed, it gets skewed with over indulgence. I also ordered the oysters which were not fresh. Half the oysters were bad. The server said he would not charge us but charged us anyway. The colleague paying for the meal mentioned it to him and corrected the bill. It is a packed venue and the ambiance is bustling so business is good.
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing seafood ... great location... service was really good... looking forward to going back

Yelp
I ate here for the first time for lunch on 09/13/2023 with a party of three at about 1pm without a reservation. First of all, the absolutey stunning views from this restaurant are spectacular. It overlooks Lake Union; however, is not far at all from Queen Anne and Downtown. Our server was very attentive and the entire staff worked very well together. For lunch, I had the Off the Hook Stuffed Salmon. It was priced appropriately for what you would expect from a seafood restaurant. It was a pretty sizeable portion, and it was absolutely delicious. The salmon was cooked to perfection and was stuffed with crab, shrimp, cheese and a lemon blanc sauce. YUM! It was a beautiful day, and even though we sat inside the views made me imagine I was sitting outside. I would definitely return to Duke's again.

Yelp
A MUST IN SEATTLE Seattle native vs Tourist you MUST check out DUKES I love this place so much. Even as takeout You MUST TRY Seattle's Best Crab Cake Sandwich Dungeness Crab on brioche bun, melted Havarti, nitrite-free bacon, chipotle aioli, avocado, tomato and bibb lettuce THIS WOULD BE MY LAST SUPPER
google avatar

Janet S.

Yelp
The service was amazing. Even though our server had a number of other tables, we felt that we had our own guide. She was helpful and went above and beyond. The food was great. We started with a Caesar salad which we split. Then I had the stuffed halibut while my husband had the stuffed salmon. We each enjoyed our dish. We ended the evening with the vanilla ice cream which was really good after a big meal. We were seated by a window which was lovely to look out. It would have been better if we came earlier before the sun had set. Next time in Seattle, we will definitely return.

Yelp
I had a really wonderful experience here! I met with two longtime friends for a reunion of sorts and it was just the perfect setting on the patio on a summer night. I decided to go with the three course dinner as it seemed like a good value. I ended up choosing the lobster chowder, sweet caper spinach salad, and crab un-cake. Everything was SO GOOD! They weren't lying about their crab cakes being more crab, less cake- it felt like a generous amount of crab. And the potatoes and sauce that it was served with really completed the dish well! Over all I was very pleased and felt quite full when I was finished. Sometimes with these pricier restaurants I genuinely wonder if I'll feel satisfied when I'm done or still a bit hungry, but it was the perfect amount. The only thing I could've gone with or without was the grapefruit cocktail. It did taste quite good but it seemed quite small for $13. I live on a budget so this was quite expensive for me ($72 after tax and tip) but I didn't regret it at all and I'd gladly eat here again.
google avatar

Samantha C.

Yelp
I enjoyed this place! the calamari sticks were good and so were the scallops and ravioli. The apps and food came out at the same time, which could've been timed better. our server was nice and this place is beautiful along the water. i'm glad we found this place!

Richard T.

Yelp
Arrived in time for happy hour and we were seated immediately. The food was of a high quality and served quickly. In particular the Steamer Clams and Cioppino were excellent. The restaurant is surprisingly large but had a cozy feel.

Cyndy And Randy R.

Yelp
Great food, great views and good service. We had a reservation and waited about 10 minutes before being seated. Service was decent but on the slower side. Bread was delivered after we ordered. Warm sourdough and it was good. We also ordered the blackberry margaritas - yummy. Two of us ordered the seafood pesto cream sauce linguini special and it was superb. It included loads of mushrooms, and small amounts of each: shrimp, crab, salmon and cod and really was delicious. Randy ordered the crab stuffed shrimp and loved it. Corina ordered the scallop dish with pumpkin mascarpone stuffed ravioli and it was also amazing. We started with a Caesar salad to share and it was so fresh and great dressing. One person in our party got a Bibb salad that was surprisingly small for the price. The restaurant prices are pretty high for the portion sizes but the food was amazing so knowing what we know, we'll be back when we're in the area. Just couldn't give it 5 stars because of the prices/portion sizes. We don't usually have a problem paying for a good meal but this was over the top. Parking is a pay lot and it's $7 for 0-3 hours.
google avatar

Raghu M.

Yelp
The food was delicious. The clam chowder sampler was nice to tryout all the variety. While the calamari steak was nothing special it was not bad either. The chowder and the halibut stuffed with lobster was the start of the show
google avatar

Ana K S.

Yelp
Great views of SLU and amazing food! The combo was amazing and filling, we could've gone without the coco loco prawns but those were also delicious -their sauce is absolutely divine. I didn't like the blueberry lemonade, it was too sweet and I think with the savory taste of the food, water would've sufficed. The deck is very peaceful and compliments your meal perfectly. My husband and I felt a little self conscious as it was a bit too quiet out there hahah. I'm only giving it 4 stars because they didn't have a parking option that wasn't less than 3 hours (also, yes you have to pay for parking before you enter the restaurant or you'll get towed!)

Yelp
Food was delicious! Well chicken strips maybe a little dry. View was amazing! Service was good.

Yelp
Came for late night happy hour on a Saturday night. The menu is expansive and everything is incredible. The views are also gorgeous - right on the water. Complimentary sourdough bread and butter. The portions were not huge, which was kind of good. Few dollars off all these prices for HH: -Dungeness Crab "Un" Cake ($19.90) - So much crab in this. Really crispy and buttery and yummy. -Blackened Halibut Quesadilla ($18.90) - SO good! The wasabi aioli is so unique. -Crabby Deviled Egg ($7.90) - love deviled eggs, and crab. Awesome. -Clam Chowder ($18.90 for Large Bowl) - Incredible. So rich and flavorful. Staff was very polite and attentive.

Yelp
Very fresh & sustainably sourced seafood with a gorgeous waterfront view. Undeniably delicious and amazing service. My mom who was visiting from Australia was impressed with Duke Moscrip's written humor hanging up and how amazingly delicious and fresh the salmon was, the fun decor also brightens the mood. I met Duke once at his Bellevue location and he was a classy and interesting gentleman who took time to chat with us. Very nice bloke! Can't go wrong with Duke's!

Yelp
I had an incredible experience at Duke's Seafood and Chowder by Lake Union! The patio view was absolutely stunning, creating a perfect backdrop for a memorable meal. It was really great watching the boats, kayakers, and paddle boarders all out on Lake Union, enjoying the excellent summer weather. The attentive service truly stood out, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. The happy hour menu was a delightful surprise, offering a variety of options. $3 off signature cocktails. I couldn't resist trying their cucumber mojitos, which were refreshingly delicious. I ended up having three they were so good. (Don't worry I walked back to the hotel.) The highlight of the meal was the North by Northwest seafood chowder--it was a burst of flavors that left me craving for more. The Dungeness crab salad was a delightful combination of freshness and taste. And let's not forget the carrot cake--it was a nice touch to round out the meal, but I wish I would have ordered the guava sorbet my colleague had. It was really delicious. After this exceptional dining experience, i can confidently say I understand why everyone was recommending it and I'm eagerly looking forward to returning to Duke's Seafood and Chowder for another memorable meal on my next trip. A definite 5-star rating from me!

Yelp
A nice view of the harbor, and the spicy soup in a bread bowl was delicious as were the many other items that our table ordered. Restaurants that are on the water frequently have sub-par food because they rely on their view/location to bring in the customers rather than their chefs...I can attest that this was not the case here, and my tastebuds are looking forward to returning here the next time I am in Seattle. :)

Yelp
No free parking. Location is really cool, you are invited in via a big staircase right upstairs. Service was fast and efficient. Clam chowder: 5/5, creamy and chunky Crab cake burger: 2/5, not sure what was going on here. This is an idea that shouldn't have been made a reality. Honestly get yourself a regular burger or a crab cake on its own.

Yelp
My favorite meal during a weeklong vacation in Seattle. Made reservations a week before and were seated out on the patio with our private dining area to the side. The view is the best as you get to see the sea planes take off and land. We had 5:30 reservations so we were able to catch the last part of happy hour. They have a nice kid's menu and the highlights were the salmon burger, crab cake and fried salmon bites (could eat so many more of those!) Our waitress was thoughtful and got our kid's orders first. Wonderful place to have a meal and relax & enjoy Lake Union.

Yelp
The Award Winning Clam Chowder was definitely top-notch. I also tried the Lobster Mobster Pernod chowder, and it was good but I think the Clam Chowder is the better of the two. Their fish and chips is great. I also had scallop ravioli on another visit, and I enjoyed it but if I came back I'd go with the fish and chips again, or try another special. Service was awesome. Never had to ask for a refill, they were right there making sure we had what we needed, and yet they weren't overly smothering. And it's a restaurant right on Lake Union, where you can watch the boats and listen to the water. I wish I had been there in the summertime, so I could enjoy sitting outdoors.

Yelp
We ate here at Duke's while visiting Seattle, we wanted to have some seafood. We were seated right away and service was quick. All our foods were delicious and perfect temperature. You can taste the freshness. We enjoyed everything!! My favorite was the seafood cioppino that came with few slices of toast. Delish!! We also had the black cod plate with clam chowder and chips n' salsa and their special crab clam gnocchi. If we're in town, we'd be sure to come back to try others.

Yelp
I was here several years ago on a business trip. I had almost forgotten the name, but definitely wanted to go back. My wife and I both had an incredibly enjoyable meal. You cannot be the view and ambience of Dukes. We spent five days traveling the West Coast and eating seafood everywhere from food trucks to Five Star five diamond restaurants. By far, this was our best meal. I had in my mind the amazing chowder as I remembered it from several years ago, the chowder of today did not disappoint! I highly recommend this on your next trip.

Yelp
Loved the location of being on the water. We sat at a table by the windows. I ordered the Duke's Favorite Pasta with Wild Salmon and it was DELICIOUS! I would give my meal 5 stars and the service 4. Our waitress was good, but not outstanding.
