Went for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Didn’t arrive until about 11:30 AM. There’s plenty of parking in the lot next to the restaurant. This restaurant is right on the Bay not the ocean. Has a decent view of the bay but does have a children’s floating gym on the water behind the restaurant so you do have that as part of your view. For breakfast, we ordered the breakfast burrito, which is supposed to be one of their specialties as well as The avocado BLT. Both pictures below. Both breakfasts were pretty good. I do believe this restaurant is known for their lobster eggs Benedict. Did not have it, but I believe the price was $26. Service was pretty good.

Great views, food was fabulous! We had the avocado toast, smoked salmon benny and french toast. The orange juice was so fresh!

Google
Great experience. I order the Lobster roll and it was absolutely delicious. Service was great, staff were very nice to me and my family. Loved the view of the bay even though it was a cloudy day. Will be returning next time I’m in Ocean City, NJ.

Food was delicious and fresh. service was okay. Would definitely come back here.

Google
Great lunch place! We stopped by here after our morning of parasailing, and everyone in my family loved their lunch. I had the grilled Salmon salad and would change the cheese of blue cheese to feta or goat cheese instead. Blue cheese overpowered most of the salmon taste which is what I wanted more of. Aside from that, vibes are great and our waitress was great too! Def return again for breakfast/brunch next year.

Google
Delicious meal! Loved sitting right along the waterfront and seeing the morning wildlife and the early boats departing. Ask about the specials, they can be extra tasty when they are pineapple foster French toast!! Omelette was good too, we recommend adding cheese

Google
Giving two stars only because my friend's omelet was decent. My French toast was inedible. Super wet and gooey, under cooked inside. I'm a big fan of French toast and have ordered it many places. It has never been made like that. I sent it back to the kitchen (something I have never done before in my life). The new french toast they made me was still the same way. We both felt the coffee was bad as well. Waitress and bus boy were very nice.

Our out-of-state guest & a few family members revisited here last week knowing we'd enjoy their consistent basic seafood lunch entrees. Our server was a delight and efficient. We did not expect to be part of an Alfred Hitchcock setting with seagulls flying inside pecking at the tables around us. Ewww! Birds carry & drop lots of bacteria, virus's, parasites from their wings and other body parts as they flap & peck. Gulls are called "flying rats" for a reason. Eating hurriedly & left knowingly a handful of public health violations were broken. Hunger will cause the mind to make poor decisions I suppose. With spare napkins, I semi-covered the plate to quickly enjoy a good crab cake. Dockside management: staple gun the clear wire back up. It isn 't an expensive fix. Never, ever feed seagulls.

Yelp
Delicious breakfast! First time here and I got the farmers omelette. It was amazing with all fresh ingredients. The potatoes were seasoned with rosemary too so that was a nice touch to the meal. The wait was really long. So don't expect to just get right in. Maybe if you get there first thing you will not be waiting. The dock is pretty large and there is also counter seating along the water if you are by yourself or just you and one other person. The coffee was also very good. My husband got the eggs Benedict that I tried and it was delicious. I think next time I will get that or a lunch meal. I'll be back but when the season slows down a bit!

Yelp
Ocean City, New Jersey: immaculately cleanest place on Jersey Shore that some people were walking around barefoot on streets, pretty beach houses, had amazing Leh Soap Company and The Greater Ocean City Theatre Company's "Broadway on the Ocean City Boardwalk" but the Boardwalk was a bored, long walk with two different beach areas - one with complete endless sand and one with barely any sand and rocks by the amusement parks, eateries and stores. 2 Kohr Brothers Frozen Custard and 2 Custard Hut on the same Boardwalk were included in the very long, 2.5 miles walk - long walk indeed. Hands down, funner Wildwood has the better adjacent, incredibly softer sand beach and insanely over-the-top amusement parks. Every Day Seafood Brunch Spot, Dockside Kitchen, Ocean City had stunning Lobster Toast topped with watermelon radish, bite-sized pieces of butter poached lobster and fresh chopped cherry tomatoes on top of creamy Avocado Puree. Other places just do it better, and their Double Crab Cakes were burnt, tough, only made with claw meat, and 70% filing. Every bite was unpleasant. Cappuccino, all frothy coffee: creamy milk, steamy - the best Brunch drink, and at Dockside Kitchen.

Yelp
Atmosphere and location are top notch. Seating on the deck along the bay. Seating is covered, so depending on time of day it is shaded. Staff was super friendly. I had the lobster Benedict, my wife had the farmers omelet and our son had scrambled eggs with fruit. All were good with no complaints. I also had the Bloody Mary which was tasty and comes with 2 shrimp.
google avatar

Yelp
Came here for breakfast, seated on the deck right over the water. I ordered the vegetable omelette with sourdough bread. I ordered eggs and fruit for my son. My husband ordered a hot coffee and lobster eggs Benedict. We were all happy with our food. I wouldn't say my omelet was anything special but it was good and the view is superb! The waitress was very nice and patient. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
Good food near the water. Prices a bit high. Covered outdoor seating. The portions are big.

Yelp
Can't believe I haven't tried this place earlier! Nice dockside brunch spot for the summer. Right on the water. Has a parking lot and also street parking available too. Lobster Benedict was huge and delicious. I preferred that over the short rib Benedict. Can get windy so bring a sweater but other than that, wait wasn't long, loved the vibes, and will be back!
google avatar

Yelp
Food was ok not a lot of flavor on the eggs Benedict or potato's. Price was not bad. Service was good and attentive. Great view of our kids doing the aqua park.

Yelp
Went with my dad for breakfast at 8, we sat at the outdoor bay bar. Food was pricier than some breakfast places in town but it was tasty! I got the Dockside Platter and my dad got the Breakfast Burrito with a side of French Toast. All were good and arrived quickly. Definitely hit the spot and had a cool outdoor view! That was our favorite part of this place

Yelp
Looking for a dockside brunch. Check out the dockside kitchen. We had the fish tocos and shrimp roll. Both were good and satisfying. Service was fast and friendly. Coffee was Syrians good. Prices were in line with shore dining. Perfect weather to dine outside on the dock. One issue is parking. There is alot going on down by the water had to park 2 blocks away. All good I will be back again .

Yelp
Wonderful breakfast and lunch spot with so much to watch in the bay while you are eating. We love everything on their menu and the servers are terrific! We have been dining here for over 10 years. Interested in looking into the supper club.
google avatar

Jessica L.

Yelp
Easily the best meal we had in OCNJ. We recommend the fish tacos and lobster Mac and cheese!
google avatar

Yelp
Definitely one of the best places for breakfast and lunch on the island. I was most impressed with their seafood! Such good quality for the price. And large portions too! The staff are so nice and the view of the bay is gorgeous. I have been coming here for years but it was under different ownership. The new owners really made this a classy place to eat and enjoy yourself. A gem in ocean city.

Yelp
First time at dockside kitchen which also happened to be the last day open for the season. So they were out of a few items. I was very pleased that the server informed us up front of what they no longer had on the menu. The soup was very good, rich and creamy - full of flavor. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The lobster Mac and cheese was the biggest hit. I look forward to going back next season. My thinking is more focused on having lunch there then breakfast.

Yelp
I ate here once ago. I have never returned. It was for breakfast. The amount of vague is exactly how I remember it...barely.

Alyssabeth B.

Yelp
Every entree was delicious, the place is on the dock as well so it has great views. All real food with fresh pressed juice, definitely recommend

Yelp
My wife and I went to this place because of the fact that it's right on the water. We are also delighted that the food is very good also. The lobster avocado toast is something I highly recommend you try. I got the crabcake Benedict which was not cooked well but still overall OK. The poached egg was cooked perfectly, which is usually rare for bunch spots, the crab cake was a little under done. This place only has outdoor seating which is why we really liked it. We sat on the bar table which faced the water. Service is pretty quick. The weather is amazing during our meal. I am unsure if the weather is very very hot how enjoyable that meal would be in the heat. There is a parking lotRight next to the restaurant. It's tough to get a parking spot there but if you eat shouldn't be a problem.

Yelp
To me dock's view ais more magical then plain ocean. So this place has it all, views, good food, tasty coffee and vacation atmosphere. I'm totally coming back tomorrow morning. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Even our kids enjoyed the food (which is rare). It was my first time trying lobster egg Benedict. It was a BOMB !!! Totally worth it. Check this place out if you are in OC. You won't regret it.

Yelp
Dockside has a nice outdoor deck on the bay for a great AL Fresco dining experience. They serve a great daily brunch with a seafood theme. I hight recommend the Lobster Benedict or Crab Cake Benedict. The service here is also friendly and impeccable

Yelp
So disappointed with our breakfast this morning. Was here twice last year and the food was great, not so much this time. I ordered the choc chip pancakes and they were SUPER dry. About 4 choc chips per pancake. Mom got a burrito and the tortilla was gummy, brother got one was well. The presentation was horrible. Barely any potatoes and looked like it was missing a component, very lack luster. Dad got the shrimp omelette and said it was quite watery. None of us finished our meals. Complete waste of a meal and since we drove over 30 mins for this meal it's even more disappointing. Absolutely will not be coming back. Also noticed the place was completely dead for a Saturday morning, which also says a lot.

Yelp
3.5 stars- very tasty, nice atmosphere, competent staff! Our family of four was seated right away and given menus to order. Two of us got the classic Benedict, one the salmon Benedict, and one the crab and shrimp omelette. Benedict's were very good, eggs a bit overdone but could have used more Hollandaise sauce - when we remarked that our waitress was paying attention and brought us over some :) Nice! My brothers crab and shrimp omelette was "bland" and overcooked; disappointing for $17. Flavor was lacking and shrimp and crab pieces were tiny. Toast was very toasted, however. The staff was friendly and quick, all in masks and cute khaki shorts. Views were and breeze were great! Made me want to try the aqua park nearby.

Yelp
The food- delicious. Service- so sweet! The seating area is gorgeous and you get an awesome look over the water. The water park nearby is bustling with cute kids so there wasn't a dull moment while we were there. Loved it!

Monica K.

Yelp
Hands down, favorite place for breakfast on the entire island! The food, the view, the staff, all the best!

Penprapha B.

Yelp
Oh we fall in love with this place. Good food, excellent vibes, and great service. Breakfast just made our day. I can't wait to try lobster mac and cheese next time!

Renee M.

Yelp
Definitely worth a visit! I had the Nutella French Toast and the Farm Fresh Omelette and it was divine. Perfectly cooked and all the ingredients were fresh including the squeezed OJ and the coffee at an unexpectedly barista level. My tummy was happy and I left feeling so satisfied!

Eleonore S.

Yelp
This place is right on the bay. My daughter and I enjoyed a scrumptious breakfast while watching the antics of a few gulls. I'll be back!!!

Yelp
I dislike having to write bad reviews but I feel like our latest experience here was so much worse than the standard of quality Dockside Kitchen used to have. None of the food had any real flavor; short rib tacos were missing ingredients that were described on the menu and the meat had no flavor and was incredibly oily. The Mac n cheese tasted like they forgot to add the cheese aka no flavor at all, and the omelets were nothing to write home about either, esp for the price. Not sure if we will be back.
google avatar

Yelp
On the dockside of the island, as its name implies, this restaurant is a little more off the beaten path when things get hopping beginning with Memorial Day Weekend. The view from the tables, that are sheltered by screens from bad weather, is delightful and the food is very good and ample. The Lobster Benedict, while expensive for breakfast, contained a remarkably large portion of lobster and the Shrimp and Crab Omelet also was chock full of seafood. There are also the usual items you would expect to find on a breakfast menu that are executed in a competent manner. Our service was very helpful and pleasant.

Yelp
We had breakfast at the Dockside Kitchen and had a wonderful time. When we arrived, we were quickly seated at a table overlooking the water. The service was very good -- waitress was pleasant and attentive. We had a variety of food. My wife had the Dockside Platter and everything was prepared nicely. My son had a bagel and egg sandwich that he enjoyed. I had the french toast and it was everything you would expect from excellent French Toast. We highly recommend checking out the Dockside Kitchen when you are in Ocean City!

Yelp
Absolutely wonderful!! The food was delicious, avocado toast was the best .. except the toast. The bread used for the avocado toast was to thick, I prefer a thinner bread. Bacon was think & crispy cloves it!! Potatoes were tasty & cooked to perfection! Fruit was extremely fresh!! Bathroom freshly cleaned!! Must return.. all around great experience. Note: I normally do not write good reviews only because there are times people are paid for their reviews!! Not this girl.. I stand by my reviews which are based on my experience ONLY! Hubby's input is often denoted but the rating is mine. Have a gre

Yelp
I had the Crab Cake Benedict & found it to be pretty tasty. It was made well and the food was good quality. The crab cake seemed to be mostly crab which was very good. I had hoped to be totally wowed by it given all the great reviews and while it was pretty tasty, but sadly I wasn't wowed. I also had a side salad and the Benedict came with what they call home fried potatoes. The potatoes were just cut up pan fried potatoes, not much special about them. Not a lot of seasoning & they required dipping in the provided ketchup as a result. Had I known I would have had the side salad instead of them. The side salad was good, but the balsamic vinaigrette dressing was a little too something. It kind of burned the back of my throat, maybe too much vinegar? I normally love vinegar and vinaigrette, so I am not sure how to exactly explain it, but, I would make sure to use a lot less of it next time. It was probably my fault for dousing my whole salad in it & using all they provided. The iced tea was very strong and seemed to have been over-steeped. I would go with just ice water on the next visit. Service was very pleasant, friendly & prompt. Prices seemed reasonable to be especially for a place on the water at the end of (at least I really hope so) the pandemic. Next time I will likely try the lobster Benedict & hope to be wowed. I know I might sound like a downer, it is a good place, I will go back and I will recommend it to others. I will have more realistic expectation next time.

Yelp
Great food in an incredible bayside BYOB spot that my wife and I "joined" as dinner club members so we, too, could enjoy more Ocean City sunsets! ( no membership needed for their terrific breakfast/ brunch/ lunch menus daily though). So live a little, and join the #Sunset DinnerClub!

Yelp
I love this place. You would totally expect it to be average food, maybe even below average diner style just by looking at it, but do not be fooled! The food is way above average!!!! Everything is delicious, down to the handcrafted lattes. I can't help but always get the Lobster Benedict because you can't just find that anywhere, it's a rule to eat seafood when you're by the bay (right?), and it's phenomenal. My husband had the lobster roll and devoured it. So must've been good! Highly recommend and you can easily make reservations and "wait in line" online. However, it is a bit close knit.. kinda hard not to be. I wouldn't recommend for those who are anxious and worried about COVID.

Jane K.

Yelp
There really isn't anything not to like about Dockside Kitchen (other than maybe being able to make reservations but I get it!). The view is beautiful. Service is fast and attentive. The food is delicious. We went there today for a party of 5. Was told our wait was 15-20 minutes but we were seated in less than 10 minutes. They have a great system where they text you when your table is ready. You can look at the view of the Bay while you wait. The food was delicious. We ordered Crab Benedict, Crab and Shrimp Omelette, Soft Shell Crab sandwich, Spinach and Tomato Omelette, Dockside Burger (not pictured) and Mixed Green salad (not pictured). Everything was seasoned perfectly and highlighted the seafood perfectly. Definitely a go-to brunch place in OC.

Carmine V.

Yelp
Dockside kitchen is a spectacular place for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food is great. The service is friendly. The views sitting on the water is second to none.
google avatar

Paul M.

Yelp
We ate outside in their deck. Great view and good food. We had burger with egg, which was tasty. We also had the soft shell crab sandwich which was crispy and delicious. I ordered the lobster roll. Not very good. The roll was dry and flack and crumbling when you bite into it. There wasn't enough lobster on the sandwich for the price. The service could have been better. The waitress did not come back after she dropped off our meal to ask us if we needed anything. We also had their French roast which was the best item on the menu. Not sure if I would go back.
google avatar

Sarah W.

Yelp
Second visit...lovely location. Iced latte was flavorful. I splurged on the steak Oscar and my boyfriend had the crab cake Benedict. Can't go wrong with this place for breakfast.
google avatar

Den S.

Yelp
My husband ordered the shrimp huevo racheroes and I ordered the crab cake Benedict. The food was absolutely delicious. Haha sorry about my half eaten meal picture. It was really difficult to stop eating and take a picture.
google avatar

Pam M.

Yelp
After having one meal here, it is now my favorite place for brunch. The setting and feel was great. Such nice staff! I enjoyed the salmon BLT on sourdough with home fries. My hubs had the dockside burger with french fries. We both loved our meal (even though his burger was cooked more on the well side than medium rare). The place was really clean including the bathrooms. We are looking forward to returning and trying another dish from the menu. Keep up the great work!

Yelp
Delicious food with a great view. Waitress was super nice & checked up on us frequently. Definitely recommend.

Yelp
Food and atmosphere was really nice. The lobster Benedict is a must have. Service was excellent! We will definitely go back.

Yelp
Nice vibe with views of the water. good fresh food, decent pricing. Would def come back.

Harmony Lina W.

Yelp
This is a great little place with some visually spectacular food. The seating area is on the water, hence the name "Dockside," which my kids and I really enjoyed. The food is reasonably priced for the quality you're getting and the kids meals are great. We ordered the Avocado Toast, The Smoked Salmon, The Lobster Benedict, and The Lobster Mac and Cheese. Everything was beautiful and delicious. My favorite was probably The Smoked Salmon. Service was good and overall a great experience for a morning birthday celebration! Great spot to eat if you are in Ocean City.
google avatar

Ryan C.

Yelp
Food was excellent! Had the lobster Benedict and there were chunks of lobster on it!! Also Had the pancakes because i eat a lot and they were delish! Just wish they could put vodka in the virgin Bloody Mary! Lolololol

Yelp
We stopped here for breakfast. The choices we intriguing and different than we were used too. The food was delicious. The service was wonderful. The view from the tables, that are sheltered by screens from bad weather was beautiful. The location is at the far side of the Island and is worth the trip.

Yelp
WHATEVER YOU DO DONT ORDER A GIFTCARD...a friend ordered a gc for my husbands birthday a week ahead and not only did it not arrive in time but we still don't have it! Did I mention we live 2 blocks away?? Also, we walked over on Sunday and we were told it was "in the mail"..yes, that old line...long story short,,, our friend called today 2 days after sunday to be told it just shipped! they still couldn't hand deliver it to us..did I mention we live two blocks away?? no thanks.. BENNYS BREAD will continue to get our business because they value customers

Yelp
Came here on a whim and definately wasnt disappointed. Food was delicious, well seasoned, and the view was fabulous depite being a cloudy morning. Sipping locally roasted coffee on the dock waiting for the food was definately a zen moment. We got the lobster benedict and the spinach and tomato omelette. The benedict was delicious and the bacon-onion jam was a nice surprise. The toast that comes with the omellete would have been worth the price by itself (seriously wheres it from?). The portions were also reasonable as well and we even had leftovers. If i had to give 1 piece of constructive criticism the hollandaise was a bit flat on flavor but other than that it was a great experience. Definately will be back with each OC trip
google avatar

Yelp
This place is so cute and the avocado toast was amazing, also tried the lobster avocado toast which was also phenomenal, will definitely be back for this view!

Yelp
This is the first time we ate at the Dock Side Kitchen. All I can say is wow ! The view was a great to start our morning looking over the bay, and the food was even better. We ordered the Lobster Benedict and the shrimp and lobster omelette, both were amazing. Picture attached is the Lobster Benedict. As you can see , there was no skimping on the Lobster . We also inquired about Gluten free options because we also have family members who are GF. I'm happy to report the they can simply switch out the bread , as all of the food/dips/spreads are GF. The waitress was fully versed on GF and menu options. The pricing was reasonable and staff from the front door to the tables were all very nice. They are doing it right ! If your in town , this is s great place to start your morning off right. It seems like the word is out on this gem, so plan accordingly. We ate breakfast Monday morning at around 9 and we were seated within 5 minutes. We passed the Dock Side Kitchen over the weekend riding our bikes and the line is quite long. Well worth the wait if that is your only option though :)

Yelp
Excellent food, atmosphere and service. Everyone was so kind and the views very nice. How do they do this? Seemed to be serving hundreds st a time! Great place!
