Worst food I’ve ever had. Took 40 minutes for them to serve me this garbage smh…I don’t know who the cook was tonight but they definitely dropped the ball.

If there was a negative star I would put it on this review because the level of service is horrible. The waitress was nice, but the manager was useless. She refused to hold the hot sauce on a wing order to accommodate people that can’t peppered food. This should loose the license to sell wings in the city of Atlanta. Management Customer service is Basura, and I am not surprised why people that patronize this place like they once did before.

I have been coming to docs since the 90s, and it is still hands down the best place to end your night. I came for brunch on Saturday, and it did not disappoint. I had the pork chop and eggs straight off the menu. The pork chop was one of the best I have had at a restaurant in years. Grilled to perfection along with really great white gravy with my hash browns. Thanks to the bartenders and kitchen staff for keeping me coming back for 20 years.

I've been going here about 3 or 4 years strong! They have THE BEST drinks in Atlanta and that's not debatable! Monday nights are THE BEST, karaoke night!! My food is always good so no complaints there and if it isn't it's been fixed! Some of y'all lying in these reviews cause I done left my card about 3 times and NEVER been overcharged. I go up to the bar and my drink is sometimes made before I even ask honey, THAT'S SERVICE! Now as far as the waiters some of them lil girls rude for real, you just gotta get the right one.. look for the older ones. Yes smoking is allowed but they have a patio that's awesome in the summer, spring and fall!

I’m sober. Haven’t had alcohol touch my lips since 2019, but the drunk bar manager Trinity cut me off after being in the establishment for 3 minutes. I do not drink. I only came to Docs because my coworkers were having a birthday party and I wanted to buy my friend a drink and leave. I’ve never been so offended in my life to be profiled so hard. Racist!!!!!

I’ve never been to docs before tonight was my first time going and it was really nice. The atmosphere was nice. There was a lot of people there but everything was nice. No complaints in that department. My Complaint and my one star review comes from the service absolutely the worst now I will say that they were extremely busy so I can understand getting frustrated. However you took the job as a bartender where customer service is supposed to be number one not left at home. I’m just posting this to say that if you can’t work under pressure and still have amazing customer service then this job is not the job for you and you need to find another one asap. I don’t condone violence, however if you happen to slap one of the employees, please slap them for the both of us thank you and you all have an amazing night.

We were in town for work, hungry for dinner, our original plan didn't work out with the baseball game and parking situations and we ended up at Docs. It was a Tuesday night, service was great, Edna was very attentive and made sure our drinks never ran dry. My coworkers food wasn't exactly what he ordered (all drummies for wings) and she made sure to correct his check before giving us our bill. It was also a bingo night, that was a fun experience. I'd definitely go again.

I thought we were being pranked being in this place. The server seemed like she was born with the attitude she was giving us. Nachos were tastey but had sat under a warming light for 45 minutes too long. Buddies steak came up like a shoe repair kit. If you looking for a place to go to, aint in a rush, and have the itch to fight someones mama, then this is definitely the place you want to be. Manager HIGHLY discounted the check and said, sorry guys the waitress didnt know we were short in the kitchen...". Dude how is that HER problem? If you know you gonna have a packed house on Braves night with TWO WAITRESSES and short kitchen? Just shut down the kitchen and serve drinks and easy appetizers. Dont lie to folks.

Food was incredible!steak sandwich and patties melt. Fries hot and fresh. Service was on point. Manager Mike always great to speak with! Highly recommend

The service is horrible, our waitress never came back to ask us if we needed any refills or nothing. Didn't ask was we ok, how was our food or anything. There was a table across from us with a guy sitting by himself she went to his table helped him and never turned around to see if we needed help. My husband chicken tender were cooked in old grease and over cooked. Came out cold, will not return.

Okay. This is definitely not my type of place. It was crowded and all I could smell was cigarette smoke. Heavy on cigarette smoke! (I came with others) There were barely any tables so we shared a table with a couple that was eating. We all ordered wings, which were amazing. The food and waitress gets five stars. The environment prompted my rating.

This place is SO STANK!!!! My clothes reeked once I left. Service was horrible. Loud drunk people. Never will I return. Didn't even wait to get my food. Couldn't stand the smell any longer.

First things first, smoking is still allowed here so it's not for everybody. However, that aside, Billie (our waitress) was very attentive and polite. We ordered wings, quesadillas, mushrooms, onion rings, artichoke hearts, Philly chicken sandwich, loaded nachos, and a Buffalo chicken sandwich. The Buffalo chicken sandwich seemed like a frozen patty, but everything else was really good. The mushrooms and onion rings seemed fresh and hand battered. If u don't mind the smoke, I'd say stop by for a bite and drink. Minus the smoke, I would have rated higher.

Best wings in Atlanta Georgia. There's not many places that I can say something so deep.

Whenever you're in the mood for the best hot wings in ATL try Doc's BREADED MILD OR HOT LEMON PEPPER WINGS (I get all flats ). I prefer to eat them there as soon as they come out Hot & Fresh. This is one of the few restaurants that allows smoking so if you're cool with that get ready to enjoy the vibe and a strong cocktail!!!!

I keep getting recommended to docs. I went on a date here, the waitress was amazing a little slow but it was busy on a Monday night. The food was great hot plate and really great wing like everyone said. The drinks are really strong I had a total of 3 tequila cocktails. They had great security and a cop at the location. 8/10. -2 points for strongest drinks and slowness of receiving drinks in a timely manner. Overall I'll good back with a designated driver.

I went here with 2 friends late on a Saturday night. Our ids were checked and we were given bands. The place smells like smoke, a reminder of what bars used to be. We found a table to sit at and waited several minutes before it was cleaned off by our server. Once the table was clean she came back to take our order and was very helpful and knowledgeable of the menu. Drinks came out quickly and were delicious. I ordered a Casamigos reposado and ginger beer, definitely tasted the tequila. After a second round we decided to head out as the kitchen was closed. The music was ok but not very loud. Overall I'll come back when I'm in Atlanta.

Service was horrible! I asked the server for water 3x. She brought my appetizer prior to my water. My appetizer was missing the sauce that was supposed to come with it. I asked for the sauce and water. She brought my main meal. I asked for another mixed drink and my check. She then brought my water and sauce. She came back 20 minutes later and told me my mushrooms were on the way. I never ordered mushrooms. Will never go back . If I could give this place 0 stars I would

They wanted to charge $19 for a 10 piece wing ALL FLATS! I could've went bought a whole chicken for cheaper!

DO NOT COME HERE FOR FOOD! I wasn't expecting much but they couldn't even make a simple burger or nachos. GROSS! The burger looks decent in the photo but don't be fooled because the buns were soggy and the patty was not fresh at all. The only thing that saved our meal were their wings. It's hard to screw up wings but Definitely not impressed. DONT GET ME STARTED WITH THOSE NACHOS! Holy cow! The chips were extremely stale and the pork wasn't even pulled pork, just chunks of cold pork. All they did was squirt bbq sauce on top. It was a $40 check to ruin our appetites, should've gone to Taco Bell if I wanted to do that. Also, that place was a smoke fest. Place was packed, they take temperatures at the entrance but what's the point if there's no social distancing?

Doc's Doc's Doc's!! Truly enjoyed the food! I will most definitely go back for TAKE OUT! But the dine in, not again. Our waitress was amazing! She didn't miss a beat, I even asked for the Chef, George! Nice man, he shared that he has been in food services for over 40 years! My only down fall to this place is the SMOKING!! I know right! Why is smoking allowed in this place? I thought smoking was over with in dining places!! It was one chain SMOKER who lit up every time she finished one cigarette. Doc's I know you get the business, but I would imagine you can do more business if the smoking went away! Disappeared! I will go back for take out! Thanks Doc's

This place is a great locals spot that was recommended to me by a hotel staffer. It did not disappoint. I had the chicken noodle soup and the wings. Both recommended by my server and both outstanding. Be advised you can smoke inside but I think most people know that already. Great pours on the drinks and super friendly staff there. Would absolutely return.

Wing were Ginormous Didn't like them at all. Ordered a burger to go, it was decent. It's a tobacco friendly spot so bring ya febreze to freshen you clothes up. Great bartender Miki. Drink are wayyyy below price for high end liquor. Great drinking spot. I'm on the fence about the food though.

To be honest I've been coming here for a minute. And I brought a new friend tonight. Warned her service is slow but it's a cool joint. Well, we had Alesia (and I might've spelled it wrong)tonight and she made me look stupid because she was so fast, so on point, and such a genuinely caring server. She deserves some kinda bonus to be honest

I wish I could rate a 0. I didn't realize racism and discrimination was alive and well until dining in. I came to enjoy food and drinks with friends. I attempted to use their in-house juke box and quickly saw I wasn't going to be able to enjoy music. I searched urban genre type music and artist and saw that they were FILTERED OUT . Meaning the restaurant has BLOCKED it out on purpose. Such artist as Brandy, Anita Baker , Aaliayh (not to mention these artist don't have explicit lyrics) so why are they blocked? Keep in mind; their security waitresses and dole bartenders were black , so were good enough to work for you but NOT have our music played? I have the right state of mind to contact my bank and dispute all monies I spent there, because I don't feel valued. Such an unfortunate experience!

I have been coming to Doc's for maybe 3 years. The best wings in town honestly! The drinks are strong and reasonably priced. It's a little smoky but I don't mind. They have a jukebox so you can play what you want. People come here to drink and have a good time. It's a chill vibe! Check it out if you haven't!

Here right now with my boyfriend, and the service is bad but the drinks are good. Strong and just right. We had to wait ample rime for service or to be checked on. We asked for nachos which took about 30 minutes to come out.. then when served... this is what we got (pic below). That is not worth any money, and it was COLD/Luke warm like it's been sitting under a light for awhile. I I'll come back for drinks but I'll be sitting at the bar. Besides that, I'll eat before I go.

I have been going here for over 15 years. On last Sunday my sister and I decided to go to what we call our GA Cheers where everyone knows your name. When we got there it was early because we wanted to make sure we got good seats for the game. We went to the bar got our first drink as normal and cashed out.when we went to find our seats, my sister asked the waitress was a table available. The waitress didn't seem like she wanted to be there and provided my sister with a half answer to her question. When we sat down at a table finally the waitress came over to make sure we had cash out with our drinks at the bar, my sister ensured her that we did. After the waitress just kept walking back and forth never acknowledging us as customers. After a while I went back to the bar to put our food order in bc that was the reason we came early to get what we needed before the game. After the witness never even came to ask us if we wanted water. I asked to speak with the manager, once I explained the situation to him. He took her side and never said that he would speak to her or anything, just Told us as customers even if she was being rude to us that since we ordered our food from the bar that we had to move and find somewhere else to seat, and he would watch the video. We were very disappointed about the service we received and the manager never came back to inform us if he watched the video or not.We both felt bc we were copper colored Sisters and they were Caucasian, that it was racial profile against us, and our feels was hurt bc we had never received this kind of service here. When even witness other people leave due to the waitress Attitude, I don't plan on visiting this establishment any longer, I will take my business elsewhere. Our hearts was broken. I was always thought that customers is always right even when they are not that is why I am one of the highest Performance at my place of business, Even with being treated like this, I didn't get nasty with the waitress or the manager. I only wanted clarification why we were treated like that. Have a great day on purpose

Smells bad loud moldy and dirty. If it's late and you just want a good time enjoy yourself. if you don't want food poisoning eat somewhere nicer. It can be fun but it's hectic and ghetto.

Shots are generous! If you are trying to social distance it is ideal go during lunch. This is a laidback environment. Keep in mind smoking is allowed inside. Erica was our server last time and she was amazing. She was on it and made some great recommendations. Tables and restrooms were very sanitary.

DO NOT EAT HERE! If I could give this place zero stars for the absolute f**ckery that it is I would. Waited an hour and half for wings just to be told I wouldn't get them. The waitress said she would discount my tab for the inconvenience but all she did was take off the food that I never received... never discounted the tab like she stated and then when we asked about it she acted as if she had done us a favor?!? Ma'am you took off the food because I waited an hour and a half and never received it not because you were being courteous. If it's midnight and you're considering eating here... I would rethink it... you'll probably end up waiting an hour and half plus and may never get your food and then when you ask about it just be told, "No, yeah you're not gonna get your food..."

So I came into Doc's about two days ago with my boss as he has come here multiple times in the past. He advised it was a laid back place where one can relax and have a drink. Upon entering we immediately went to the bar and waited to be acknowledged by any of the staff. We sat and waited for over 15 minutes but the bar staff was busy just chatting it up. No attention and no service. After waiting that long my boss and I left to another bar. It shouldn't take any time to acknowledge a customer... and we weren't going to be asking for anything more complex than a beer on tap. Basic customer service and pouring a beer isn't rocket science. FYI smoking is allowed in this bar. For those of you who cannot deal with that... just be advised. I am not the biggest fan of that either but I can deal if I can get some decent service... which I did not when I came in.

This place wreaks of smoke. The drinks are cheap and strong so be careful. The food is pretty good. I met up with friends and everyone here is pretty sociable. You can definitely meet some interesting characters here. I probably won't return because of the smoke but if your ok with that then I say try this place out.

My wife and I stopped here for dinner. The food is delicious. I had the Philly steak and cheese my wife had one of the burgers and said " this is probably the best burger that I've ever had"! Sports bar atmosphere. Definitely a must try!

Doc's is a nice neighborhood bar. I like the bartenders and the regulars are always kool. Recently, they have a security guard at the door carding people. I am glad they got security because, unfortunately, some of the men here can be very disrespectful. I feel better going here now.

Great dive bar located in Smyrna. I've been visiting here for decades. It's like a local Cheer's. The drinks are strong and the food is tasty.

The place needs a makeover bad!! Roach's all over!! Pretty sure they got covid19 relief money!! Put it back into the restaurant.. it's a insult to your customers not to fix The place up!! please take that carpet up ASAP!! Better ventilation smoke smell is horrible!! This place has been around for a while and it's not going anywhere anytime soon. Know. For some of the beat wings in town. It's a dive bar with a juke box machine where u can play music. Drinks are cheap and you can smoke inside. So if the smoking doesn't bother you, definitely a place to go anytime of day. And they're open super late. Everyone in Smyrna loves this place. This is a great bar to have a few spirits/cocktails and play pool. The music was great and our server was attentive to our needs. Near the bar area the crowd were late 20s and up. In the back by the pool tables I would say 30s and 40s. It was a good time and great music. We only had drinks because we ate prior to. But overall it was a good place to chill.

Service was horrible. Waitress was drunk and lost my friends credit card. Then charged my card for my bill and charged my card again for someone's else's tab. I spoke to manager who said he issued a refund but he never did.

When I moved to Atl in 2017 my cousin and I discovered docs. It was a really fun place to go but over the years we noticed a decline in service the food is pretty decent still but the service is horrible I've given it many chances and every time I leave disappointed I can't say that I will not visit establishment anymore because I'm hoping that they get it together but again the service is horrible

This is a small town dive bar. I love coming here. The drinks are strong... Very STRONG.

First the wings were extra salty and when asked for a replacement. The guy went into the kitchen and came straight back out & said he took them from another customer. More like he took them off of a bend that was sitting out. The wings were cold and disgusting . The waitress even had the audacity to complain when I gave her lazy behind a 2$ tip which she didn't deserve 2pennies. Being that I had to get other waitstaff to help me. SMH ‍

honestly the most disrespectful place ive ever been too. within the hour of being there the bartender dallas gave me his number (6783926917) obviously his manager knos this number!! glad i gave him text now number no real number ( so strange) since he was so persistant!!! after he got his 50$ tip being so generous bc i am *&&* plus very naive i blessed him with no hesitation *&&* went to play a $1.00 game of pool to find out he then cut me off after 2 beers mind you the 2nd beer i didnt even drink.!! Went on a girls date on Monday night and I have to say this place is fun with lots of people drinking and smoking. It's apparently karaoke night boy oh boy, those men can sing in here. Now let's talk about what's important. The vibe here is a must but if you don't like the smell of nicotine this place is not for you. Don't even think about service when it comes to this place. Our server was pathetically slow. She doesn't have any kind of knowledge when it comes to the basic common drinks. She doesn't write anything down so she has to come back couple times asking us what we ordered. I can guarantee that she forgot to put in our drinks order bc we waited so damn long for our drinks. For you to work at a dive bar, I do have hope you understand some of the terminology for drinks.. nope. We told her we're bartender so we don't asked for much from her; she rolled her eyes and walked away. Mind you, we're not belittling her; we was telling her we're bartender so we can let go of small mistakes. I would take good care of someone that say they bartend bc it's good money to make but nope. She disappeared again for so long and we had to get someone to grab us out drinks. At this moment, we just thought she don't give a damn about making money. We love each other accompany so much that we overlook it. We would've took more shots and she'll make more money if she just come around more. I was lucky to get in and get a seat on Friday evening. Over in a corner waiting for my friend. It took 45 minutes to get an appetizer, and an hour after that to get our food. The drinks were good, and I can't really remember the music but I had fun.. just slow service, and the burger was dry.. lol..

Hands down, Doc's has the best wings in Smyrna! I've been getting wings here for about 1.5 years now and they are consistent and NEVER disappoint. Now, if you're looking for a nice place to sit down and enjoy them, this is not your spot, but they are great to order and take home and enjoy. You can mix flavors, HIGHLY recommend teriyaki lemon pepper, and the wings are always nicely proportion. I can't vouch for anything else at this restaurant as I always order my food (Wings only) and take it home, but they never ever disappoint. If you can handle the smoke, low lighting and hooters type environment this is your place. They have a great bar, and the menu seems to be very extensive as well! Highly recommend giving them a try.

What you need to know: Smoking is allowed inside - so if you don't partake sit outside, the drinks are STRONG, and the fries are amazing! It's definitely the quintessential definition of a local watering hole and all the regulars are super friendly! Ended up meeting a friend here before a Braves game and had no idea what I'd be walking into, but I had a great time. Drinks: One of the regulars bought us some Texan Margaritas and they knocked my socks off - fairly sure it was mostly tequila with a splash of margarita mix - not that I was complaining. But beware if you can't handle your liquor because it'll hit you fast and hard. Food: I just had the curly fries which weren't anything special but we're still pretty damn good. Ambience: Definitely a smokers paradise, with a ton of regulars. It's an older crowd but everyone's very friendly and always willing to strike up a conversation. Definitely an eclectic group of people, and an old school bar feel which I appreciated. Parking: This is ample, but beware if you're just parking here to go to a game - they boot you quick. If you spend an hour or two inside Doc's before going to the game though, you probably won't get booted if you leave your car. Price: Ended up paying just under $5 for some curly fries, so it's not too expensive for the area. All in all I'll probably come back again in the future, but I'll be sure to sit outside to avoid the smoke. Not a bad place, especially if you're local.

The best wings in town, thick meaty and tender wings. Drinks are strong as hell. Especially, if you come on Sundays for the $4 long islands, Jesus!!!!

I have been to Doc's a few times. Yesterday was my last visit!! Inside is incredibly stuffy and, at times, quite smoky (no cigars allowed, cigarettes only!). The outdoor patio area is enjoyable! I was enjoying my visit yesterday UNTIL the owner's daughter (we were informed of this later..) decided to be rude to someone who had double parked. The gentleman double parked and stepped out of his vehicle with a boot on his foot. There were no other available handicap parking spaces available. The female decided she needed to tell him something then went indoors to get "security" to talk to the gentleman. The female was nothing short but rude and loud and drunk. (one of her friend was double parked as well!!!) The gentleman was gracious and kind. Her friends apologized for her but I am not aware if the female apologized! At the end, she sat quiet for a short time before her and her friend drove away while clearly under the influence. The entire rant from her was uncalled for and incredibly unprofessional. I find that the incident was racist and uncalled for.... For this reason, I will never return to Doc's. Our server, Ivy, showed such class during the entire incident. She is an excellent server!! She is kind and precise. She served our drinks with a smile and good attitude!! I appreciate her time.

Walked in and waited for 45 minutes still have not been served by a server. Intercom yelled saying that their is only 7 servers and 200 patrons. If that is the case, hold the door. I'm sure the service quality would improve if the place were properly managed.

A guy's bar. But if you're a girl trying to get some free drinks, come here. Super casual, karaoke n football type bar. Plenty of parking, shares property with a strip mall. It's usually pretty popular after 8pm, coupled w/ the fact its a small bar, I wouldn't come with 20 friends. Drinks are cheap, but I'd order a Stella (lol) before a Bob Marley. The pool tables are a plus, but they are pretty popular so you may wait for awhile to play. Not for the faint of heart, smoking is allowed. A neighborhood bar. A good bar.

Doc's is a OK with me!!! On a ( First ) Friday visit to Doc's this past Friday night, my friend wanted to get out and turn a few corners without straying to far from our side of town. So why not DOC's, they say??? The place was really crowded, they had a live band that played music that spoke to my soul ( or it could have been those 2 voodoo alcoholic beverages I had, but who's judging??? - ha ). I was a little embarrassed, because I thought this place would be more like a restaurant than a bar, but we were wrong. My friend had a fractured ankle and a huge boot on her foot..... It just looked wrong on so many levels that we were even there. Lol. We found a table up front and made a few friends inside, fairly quick might I add, with all the attention from the air cast boot. Lol. Doc's is dark and a bit smokey, from what I observed. I never made my way to the back, so I couldn't tell you what was beyond the bar area, but there was a lot of great laughs happening up front where I was. We order food and drinks, the waitress was nice and very available which was surprising since it was so busy. I order the prime rib plate which came with soup or salad and one side Item, I ordered a loaded baked potato and a side salad. My food was really good, she brought out everything I needed with all the fixin. My friend ordered the wings and curly fries, I didn't hear not one complaint from her ( and she's a complainer lol ), so I'm going to say she was happy. We didn't stay long because of the whole "boot situation" so we departed right after we finished eating. Doc's seems like a great spot to unwind after a long day. They have reasonably priced good food, nice drinks ( little to much ice, but we can work on that ). It could easily be considered a little divey, but I do like divey. FYI: Be aware, I did encounter a very unruly character outside the bar, became irritated because I ignored him, but I tried not to judge the place over one drunk A-hole.

Soooooooo I'll address the whole black woman hair thing since no one who was there will tell the whole truth... that white lady was sweet and nice to that woman and truth be told she was acting like a complete bitch to her, the staff and other customers... she didn't get kicked out cuz she was black she got kicked out because she was acting retarded and played the race card to get mfs on her side. Ain't nothin wrong with docs... plus it's a dive bar if you want 5 star service take yo ass to buckhead.... where people broke and bougie and still judge you on skin color.
