Great beers and great wines. The staff is all super lovely and accommodating. I love the Mother and Son's Burger vendors they bring by every Saturday, it literally makes going to work that day worth it. Good Burgers, good beer, and good peers. (You better see what I did there)

Google
Cool new Brewery in town; hands-down, I love the branding, and I bought 2 shirts on 1st visit. Excellent staff and decent beer. I was happy that d&p$b have a big barrel aged beer(Barley wine to be exact) but beg that a big BA Stout appears in the fall. I was alil underwhelmed by the offerings flavor, quality idunno. The beer wasn't a 5- everything else was. Look forward to coming back and expecting them to dial things in! 🍻

Google
Our favorite brewery in town. Fantastic staff, owners who care, and most importantly great brews. Top it all off with a fantastic food truck rotation and this is now our neighborhood spot!

Google
Friendly bartenders and prompt service. I was underwhelmed by the beer though. Given the rave reviews by others, I had high expectations. When I arrived, I was disappointed to find only average beer. Yes, I'll own it... I'm a beer snob, but for national microbrewery standards, this beer was only average. Prices are at the higher end of reasonable for most beers, but barrel aged beers are overpriced at a buck an ounce for a 10 ounce pour.

#32 in the Metro Detroit Brewery Discovery Tour. An early trip out, and a different destination, but when the internet goes down, you make changes. Since there are two breweries within 1 ½ blocks of each other here on 11 Mile, I decided this was the place today. Gobs of free parking for the scooter behind the building. Tons of space inside, as well. And a few outside tables for the clement weather. It being only 1:30 on a gorgeous July Saturday, the crowd is small and all at the extremely long, U-shaped bar, behind which I found Chrissa, a very pleasant lady. There are 12 taps, all in-house brews. They range from a hefeweizen through a dry cider to the ever-popular IPA to a porter and a barleywine.

Google
We used to visit this brewery when it first opened and wanted to give it another try. The cider I had was great. Unfortunately, the experience was soured by the bartender, who was rude while we were ordering. We ended up leaving right after because we felt unwelcome for bringing our toddler—even though it was only 1 PM, well before the 21+ restriction that starts at 8 PM

Google
Whoa!! I'll be honest I did not have high expectations of this place in comparison to other breweries I've been to. Let me tell you that I was wrong on those expectations by every measure. I went today which is May 19th and the sours they had on tap blew my mind. So good!!! Between Jake and Ashley the service was phenomenal. First time going here and it will definitely not be my last because of those two employees and the beer they create/serve. No complaints! I stayed here for almost 6 hours with my friend and K Dubs was also amazing. She ordered a tofu shawarma wrap, honestly I'm not a tofu guy but this changed my mind!

Google
Had a great time the day before St. Patrick's Day. Great atmosphere with Irish music, a bagpiper, and Irish dancers. Excellent food truck also and the alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages were outstanding. It was a great time for any of us who cannot celebrate on the actual day. Very friendly and attentive staff!!!!!

Yelp
Great logo! The beer was good and I received fantastic service with good conversations. The space is open, nice, and clean

Yelp
Bella, our bartender, was super cool and friendly. She knew the beers and was quick to keep us hydrated. Beers are top notch. From sours to stouts to IPAs, you will find multiple beers you'll love. The rating on Untapped reviews are right. Over 4 star beers on most! I got a Wheel Horse (cherry wheat sour) and coconut cuvée. Yum. Yum. Yum. Food trucks outside. Huge parking lot in the back. Easy to find. Tons of seating options and the biggest wrap around bar I've seen in a long time. Comfortable temperature (as in you're not freezing or sweating inside). Generous happy hour is 4-8 I believe. $1 off drafts I think. My only regret is not visiting sooner. Run club - see you soon!

Yelp
They have flights and all that, now. Still great. Staff is great, expanded seer style selection. They also have great events. And do things like hosting drink and paint, and even D&D sessions. Food trucks almost every night, but you can still bring outside food in.
google avatar

Yelp
They always have awesome options for food trucks. Beers change a lot with the season and I haven't met one I don't like. Staff is so genuine and speedy service. I really enjoy their events too. I've gone to their breathe and brew yoga a few times with Carson and love love the community and getting a beer after doing a little exercise despite not being the best yogi. Everyone is welcome

Yelp
This is such a fun spot to watch a Tottenham soccer game! The Detroit Spurs are always out in full support for those games. The beers here are great and I enjoyed the Pilsner. The bartenders are very friendly and attentive. This is also a good spot to watch a Lions game. They always have different food trucks come in too.

Yelp
When I was here, it was an overall great experience. I was able to watch a small jazz, and they made me want to stay for their whole set. Hope to see them again sometime.

Yelp
First off as the name implies - dogs are welcome! Small patio area and had an event out back with Mac and cheese truck. Dog treats available at counter. Flights available with a wide range of beers from IPA styles, porters, lagers, etc. definitely found several beers that I enjoyed. Games are available also and we played a rousing round of Smart Ass! TVs abound and play sports- ball games if one digs that kind of thing. Friendly service- will definitely be going back!

Yelp
I stopped by when they had their soft opening and only had 2 or 3 beers on tap. I was impressed, but I wanted to give them some time to see what they could come up with. We stopped by last weekend and I tried a flight of 4 beers- the Kernal Lager, General Pils, Prophet Porter, and Coconut Prophet. All of them were delicious and I would come back without hesitation to drink any of these. I can't wait to see what's next! We sat at the bar, but if you choose to sit at any of the tables, they have unique QR codes at each table so that you can order without having to go up to the bar. The picnic style tables are humongous- great for groups. The high tops are made from old skateboards and are just really cool looking. We ordered food from one of the food trucks while there. Really awesome concept, but the line was long and it was hard to hear them announcing names. That's a separate review, but I think it's really cool that they are inviting all of these other small businesses to share in this space. Service was excellent. A+. They were quick, friendly, everything you'd expect from great customer service. I'm so excited to see where these guys go. They are going to do big things!

Yelp
Came to get my tagabrew tag but they were out. Boo. But I was happy to finally make it to this brewery. It's pretty big inside. The beer was cold and delicious. The service was great. No complaints here.

Yelp
Bummer what can I say maybe they should change the name take out the dog. Yep dogs inside are no more at the dog and pony, they're classified as a restaurant. Cuz they brew beer, so I'm told (George was not happy). The three stars are mostly because of that, can't bring the dogs inside anymore. The inside still cool, the Beer aren't bad I got a four pack to go (coconut porter that I'm looking forward to), and a quick one, Force pull on the non-existing patio outback. They had the food truck, and it was ordering inside, Raquel's Cocina. Just bummed out I can no longer bring my good buddy. Oh well, dog and pony show I probably won't be making the trek over to see you that much. $loss

Yelp
Comfortable and fun place! We ride our bikes up here every few weeks...lots of space both inside and out (patio with umbrellas on 11 mile) Friendly and welcoming service and an ever-changing variety of beers and cider choice. Prices are more than reasonable, and we appreciate the opportunity to taste before committing to a full pour. They often have a good truck pulled up to a window to allow for ease of ordering from inside. Really nice set-up!

Yelp
Wow! Large bar, great service, beer and cider! This place is awesome, can't wait to go back! They have a lot to offer and food trucks every night (closed Mondays). Love this place!

Yelp
We liked this place in general but the beer & cider had mixed reviews. Our beer flight: LLL Cool J - lemon lime radler - just ok Prophet Porter - ok Wheel Horse - cherry sour - good Dr Streus - cinnamon streusel porter - our favorite!!! This was a very enjoyable beer. We also tried #3 - O'Guinymish & #5 Doze Apples (cider). They were decent. Limited outdoor seating. Nice atmosphere overall. Within walking distance to Oak Park Social.

Yelp
My Pilsner is an IPA Came here with 3 great friends and had 4 "not great" drinks. The Pilsner tasted like an IPA, the IPA was over-flavored, the stout tasted diluted and the cider tasted like a watered down seltzer with a hint of apple. Really wanted to like this place, since its name reminded me of one of my favorite K&P lines; "Can we see the pony show from way in back?" However, that was not to be. Instead, it brings to mind one of my other favorite quotes: "Get used to disappointment"!" Great staff and atmosphere!

Mike R.

Yelp
My favorite Brewery. The owner and the staff have always been super nice. The beers always has been really good and a good variety. I really like the open space and the fact that you can sit outside when it's nice out. And they allow you to bring your dog in and sit outside which has been great. And they have food trucks come in on certain days which is cool to.

Erik V.

Yelp
This place used to be great like really great but now it's daycare for kids the bbq is still delicious though.

Yelp
Stopped in on a Wednesday so not overly packed but it was their 2 month anniversary which I thought was cool! I know they also have food trucks but not sure which days or times! I had a flight which was 4 beers so I could try a few and they were all pretty tasty! I will say it was hands down the best coconut porter that's I've ever had and I usually don't like coconut! Definitely have to bring some friends back here so excited to see what else they come out with!

Yelp
Amazing! Wish we lived closer!! Great beer, great service, dog friendly Will be back for sure!!
google avatar

Yelp
This place has a ton of potential. Good beer. A little too many sours, but I know that's popular. The corn lager was surprisingly very good.
google avatar

Brian N.

Yelp
The Pils is refreshing and nice! And thankfully a great option that isn't an IPA (lol, I'm more of Lager person) though the runner up to the Pils was the red, #1 OPA)

Yelp
What an awesome new destination for craft beer drinkers. Although only open for a few weeks, these guys are brewing some phenomenal IPAs and Porters. This dog-friendly brewpub does not have a kitchen, but does schedule a rotation of diverse food trucks each evening. We've sampled the Mexican, Burger and BBQ trucks so far and have thoroughly enjoyed all three. The owners have assembled a great staff that have provided outstanding and friendly service on each of our visits. Another bonus is a large free parking area behind the pub.

K M.

Yelp
Fine and friendly brewery serving up up to twelve of their brews on tap, and offering lots more by the bottle. Food options are very limited, though a Chicken Waffle food truck was parked just outside and patrons were actively encouraged to use their services, or bring their own. Beers were interesting, cold and good! The inside is cavernously large and there are several long tables for larger crowds. We chose a two seater nearer the bar and enjoyed the decor and beer barrels. Know too, it's FAMILY FRIENDLY. Even chocolate milk is served! Parking is ample and free in the lot out back. Restroom was meticulously clean and well stocked too.

Yelp
This place is super cute and the doggies are allowed inside! They have a good variety of beers- IPAa for him and Porters for me. The coconut Porter definitely tastes like coconut so make sure you read carefully before ordering. I enjoyed it. Husband enjoyed the training wheels IPA. There is a small patio. I over heard someone saying there is BBQ on Thursday nights via a good truck or caterer.

Yelp
Any place that I can bring my dog to deserves 6 stars, but 5 stars will have to do in this instance. I cannot say enough positive things about this Brewery! I am not a beer drinker, but they have a delicious cider on tap that is, in my opinion, one of the best adult ciders I've ever tasted. The perfect combination of sweet, tart and crisp. Even if they didn't have anything I liked on tap, I'd still go for the atmosphere, food and the fact that my pup can come. We love going on Thursdays for Bruce J's BBQ. He smokes some of the best burnt ends I've ever had. The best part is all of his ingredients are Michigan sourced! Because they don't have a kitchen, you can bring your furry best friend inside. They even have dog treats at the counter so they don't feel left out. My dog knows exactly where to take me when we walk in. I see there are a few comments complaining about the fact they allow dogs. It's literally in the businesses name. I for one am so grateful there is a place where I can go, especially during winter, and bring my dog.

Ellis M.

Yelp
Atmosphere is probably wonderful if people would leave their untamed hooligan kids at home or wait, better yet teach them to behave and not scream & run around inside the establishment! I was about to lose my effin mind!! Considered walking out and not even finishing my flight of six wonderful tasting brews! I even mentioned this to the server, she said, trust me I know. The Managment should put their customers in check and not allow parents to allow their kids to run a muck in this place! They're still running around screaming/yelling like it's a effin playground at school. I need to stop with this review drink my beer and GTFO!
google avatar

Mina M.

Yelp
The best brewery in town! They always have new beers on tap. Plenty of tables and bar area for seating. Tons of games to play. Different food truck every day and endless events going on. Not to mention, everyone who works there is so nice and easy to talk to. Can't get enough!
google avatar

Melissa M.

Yelp
Update::: as promised, I came back now that they gave sours (even more than one!). They're all amazing. I still don't love the dogs being in the bar but I'll get over it. Cheers

Yelp
What an awesome brewery coming to Oak Park. Recently, I was introduced to a group of crafty brewers who are new to the scene. We were excited to participate in a special fundraiser supporting new business. It's pretty exciting to witness all the planning and development that goes into starting a brewery, especially during these challenging times. Taking a tour around the brewery, you can see all the unique attention given to the tap room. Located in an industrial area, the building has been transformed. The renovation is awesome and the rustic wood throughout creates a warm, inviting space to kickback, relax, enjoy a beer and hang out with friends. If you know anything about me, breweries are one of my most favorite hobbies. I am excited to try all the great beers produced by the Dog and Pony Show Brewery. The doors should open to the general public late May. Look for an update coming soon. You won't want to miss this grand opening!

Yelp
Was in the area and had this place on my list so decided to check it out. Wife and I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon. Not too busy so bellied up to the bar. Large space with a long u-shaped bar and bar stools with backs. More than enough staff on hand - maybe getting ready for the food truck that was arriving a bit later and an expectation of more patrons as a result (they have a food truck scheduled to park out back every day, or most days anyways). I ordered an IPA, the wife a cider. Hers was their take on a margarita - my wife loved it. The beer was also good. We were only in it for one this day. We shall return.

Yelp
Wow, what a cool new place to grab a drink! Love the atmosphere. Dogs are welcome :) awesome craft beers and the staff is super friendly! Love their food truck concept too!

Yelp
These three brothers are doing something special. Not just with the beers, which are amazing. There is an atmosphere of warmth and acceptance, and it's a REALLY cool space. Plus you gotta love the family business aspect. If you haven't been here yet, I HIGHLY recommend it.

Wehler S.

Yelp
Nice, clean place. Friendly people and great beer. Will be back. Best surprise BA beer in years.
google avatar

Melody H.

Yelp
Where do I start? Dog & pony is so entirely welcoming. I love the workers! The beer is amazing especially for a non beer drinker LOL... they're always kind, on top of shit. The building & bathrooms are always clean. You gotta try the Wheel Horse, I love it! Go see them! Seriously! Xo family!

Robert K.

Yelp
Nice space, friendly people, good beer. What's the problem? They let people bring their dogs inside! How is this sanitary or even legal? Who cleans up when dog leaves a pile on the floor? Being civilized means not having to eat and drink with animals.
google avatar

Steve J.

Yelp
Excellent brewery with a very friendly vibe. The food trucks add the perfect touch and it is dog and child friendly. Good people to talk to and a very positive energy - OK so maybe it was the beer?!!
google avatar

Kara N.

Yelp
We LOVED this spot. Came on a Thursday and saw an awesome live band. The whole vibe was so fun & made us want to stay all night. My husband and I got IPAs which were yummy! It was also very baby friendly, we were happy to see there were high chairs & dog friendly too. We will be back!
google avatar

Chris G.

Yelp
A hidden gem: great beers, friendly people at the bar, and they have a lot of cool board games. Family friendly, pet friendly, accommodating to all. I just love this spot.

Princess M.

Yelp
Definitely recommend this place. Easy parking, good beer, great customer service and great ambience

Julia A.

Yelp
Went for the first time last night and it was such a great experience!! All of the staff was so so friendly and nice! They don't act like you're annoying them if you try to have a short conversation or ask questions. And the band that played, Stereobabe, was phenomenal! The drinks we had were good, especially the Krinkelmouse, which tasted so good--like cranberry sauce, interestingly enough. Place is very spacious too.

Jake D.

Yelp
Great brewery. Friendly staff. Spacious. Some really interesting flavors pop up now and again.
google avatar

Jeannine L.

Yelp
A very nice neighborhood brewery! The beer is tasty and the atmosphere is fun. I'm pleased to see all the food truck options as well. This brewery can easily become a fan favorite.

Shay S.

Yelp
If you want to play with the big boys get some local sports on the Tv, Wings, Tigers, Pistons. For a round of beers you can upgrade from You Tube TV and get a Bally's. Go to 24 secs if you want local sports.

Britta A.

Yelp
Love this place. Beers are fantastic! The staff are fabulous! I can't wait to go back!

Mandy H.

Yelp
Amazing beer. Amazing venue. We came to their soft opening and the service and beer couldn't be better. We are excited to try their other beers as they expand their selection. This will def be a regular stop for us!
