I appreciate the friendly and caring staff who learn all the dogs’ quirks and personalities to help ensure every pup has a fun experience. It’s clear the staff truly cares about each pet and the place is always clean and well run. Loki is always ready to go back for another day of play! It's easy to tell when a location is ran by dog lovers, and I can't even begin to explain how awesome this place is. My dog Freyja used to love going to daycare here. When we moved out of the area it broke my heart to have to find another daycare closer to our new place. If I ever have to go on a business trip for a couple of days I'm definitely making the trip to drop her off here for the stay. For the employees at dogcity just know Freyja definitely will miss all of you 🐶💗

They're really good with dogs. My 2 dogs are comfortable and happy here. despite having severe separatoonl anxiety. The dogs are grouped by size. My german shepherd and miini poodle are in different groups, yet they can still see each other through the fence that separates the play groups. The staff is really good at accommodating special needs of the pets and is flexible with scheduling and payments. I like that they are very affectionate with the dogs and professional and kind to the customers. I wouldn't leave my dogs with any other daycare.

The whole experience was so great the whole team was fantastic and understanding and Ms.Heather was wonderful. She did a fantastic job grooming and giving my baby a haircut, and for this to be his first time and for both of us to be so nervous she handled it so well and was so great at reassuring me he’d be okay. He was most definitely in good hands and will definitely be back!

I have been going to dog city since I moved to design district. First of all the commute to them is like 4mins and easy parking to drop off and pick up. Everyone employed there is high energy and empathetic to your pet! I’ve never seen a groomers place like this before! HEATHER is my go to groomer like I schedule my dog to go to her every time. She always walks out with Sam and tells me her experience and any issues. Heather goes above and beyond with my girl Sam of 10 years old. Sam kicks a lot when getting her nails done and Heather handles her very well too make sure it gets done without stress. Her fur literally feels like butter when she leaves heather. No groomer does an awesome job like Heather at dog city. So I really appreciate the care they have for pets there. I would do daycare if I ever needed it too, the hotel compliments all the dogs needs and pampers them. Do not hesitate to go here and if your pets has any complications just communicate that and they will do their best to make sure it is accommodated.

Dog City does such a great job with our little Havanese. We’ve been seeing Heather for baths and grooming for several years and highly recommend her. She always gets Napa looking her best and does a beautiful clip ( not a shave!) The best recommendation comes from Napa who’s always happy to see Heather and Dog City.

We have used Dog City for daycare a few times a week and most recently for a 10+ day boarding stay and could not recommend them enough! The staff is so great with the dogs and love that they have cameras during daycare and an option to have a dog suite with camera for boarding. They also provide report cards with photos for daycare + boarding. My dog loves coming in for daycare!

I took my dog here on very short notice during the week of thanksgiving and they were luckily able to squeeze her in for a last minute appointment. Heather was very nice she took her time grooming my pup and had very good things to say about the experience grooming my dog. Price was great and resonable

Heather the Groomer at Dog City Dallas, Texas is a ONE OF A KIND GROOMER! She took such good care of my puppy and he looked so awesome. He just LOVES go8ng to see Heather, he knows when we get there, he's so excited! Thank you Heather for caring for my fur baby, I can tell immediately you have that love of every puppy/dog that comes 8n that you treat it as your own! That is a very special quality!!!

Great customer service and transparency in regards to pricing and options. Heather took extra special care with my 15.5 yr old rescue Havanese (Jazz) and she settled in to a beautiful cut & spa experience. Jazz was so happy in end and I really appreciated Heather's attention to the little details of a little doggie. Thanks Heather and Dog City!

Amazing spot for grooming and daycare! My pup always has a such a fun time and loves all of the workers here because of all the love and care they give him! Also a big fan of being able to check on him through the playroom cameras during the day to see how he's doing. Highly recommend!

Everything from the appointment to pick up. Everyone is absolutely mindful about your doggie. Dog parents if you are ever in the Dallas area this is the place for your grooming, boarding, and playtime daycare. Very clean and kept. My pom has a new place to go when we are the Dallas area.

I've been having my dog groomed here for two years. Boarded her for the first time while i was out of town. Great service, nice staff and my dog was all tuckered out from playing with her new friends for a few days. Great value as well.

Something about this place isn't working well for my 9 month pup. We have gone in for 2 groomings each 30-40 days apart and each time I picked up my pup he is crying whining with hard enlarged inflamed testicles. Days after his visits he is already cutting me with his nails? Isn't that nail filing/cutting included? Both times less than ideal length. I need to find the "right" groomer because it ain't here. The first visit majority of hair was shaved off or cut off his testicles and he licked them for days due to irritation. It cost just as much as petco and PetSmart.

Took my 2 Brussels Griffons here for the first time. I can be a bit of a nervous mama but this place made me feel so much more at ease. The groomer (Heather) came out to meet me before my appointment and go over everything. I talked over what I usually do with the dogs and she walked me through what she thought they might need as well. It was a great experience to talk about them together because it really felt like collaboration. What really set me at ease was this: She told me if I went home, inspected them, and find something not to my linking to call her and she would get it worked out. I found this incredibly reassuring, especially during a first groom where she is still learning my preferences. She seemed to really understand that we both just want best for the dogs. When I went to pick them up, they look so adorable and again the groomer (Heather) came out to talk to me about everything they had went through how their behaviors were. As a dog mom I appreciate it so much, when I know what my dogs are doing and what they've been through. She went through everything with me- down to how she was holding their heads during the groom. It felt as though my dogs comfort was her priority, and Im truly appreciative of that. I think they worked very hard on having a great relationship between the dogs and the groomers, as well as the human parents and the groomers too. I felt like I understood everything that was going on. Full transparency seems like a model here and I'm very thankful for that. I will definitely be bringing mine back a I suggest you take a leap of faith and try them out too! Also wanted to mention: The facilities were super clean. They have lots of windows so you can look in on the daycare and the rest of the facility. Every dog I saw walking out looked very happy and content. Not stressed at all, which is what we all want for our pups. In the photos Vaders (black dog) face looks a bit choppy because she is a gremlin and loves to smash her face into things creating mats that Heather carefully removed. She had a discussion with me prior to cutting and I gave her permission. (Full disclosure, I copied this over from my google review so I didn't need to type it out twice, but I fully stand by it)

It was our first time using Dog City. Our dog is a medium size so they said they would see how she does with the big dogs and if it seemed overwhelming for her, they could move her to the small dog section. That meant a lot knowing they would check in with Della & make arrangements for her if needed! The staff kept a good eye on her, updated us on how she was doing including pictures and gave us details on how she was when we picked her up.

I am not giving the establishment two stars due to any issues with the staff. However, I am giving it two stars because the dog potty area is a small, rectangular box in the middle of the room. My dog is unwilling to use the bathroom inside, so when we returned home, he had to urinate and defecate quite heavily. Additionally, the area where my dog was confined lacked any toys or entertainment options other than each other. Consequently, I will not be taking him back.

Dog City WAS a wonderful place that my dog loved. Since the new manager came in, Deb, it has been a nightmare for me. Since Deb came, she states my dog has suddenly become aggressive! She was never aggressive before. I have watxh my dog get bit abd harrassed by another dog, while Deb had her back turned. MY dog has come home with bite marks on her body! I have seen my dog change, and I have become withdrawn since Deb came. No way will.she go back there! Br careful if you send ykur dog there! I am working with a behavioralist to bring my dog back to the fun-loving pup she was befire encountering Deb! Tiffany and Jorge are wonderful. But, overshadowed by the manager.

Dog City is unreliable! We had a last minute need for boarding. Flying out to a celebration of life tomorrow morning and Dog City agreed to allow us to drop our dog off over the phone despite it being a holiday. When we arrived they said they were closed. I reminded the girl that we were the ones they agreed to help out. She went inside and reminded her manager of the call and they still refused to take our pet, despite previously agreeing. That's pretty bad business and quite disappointing considering the already difficult circumstances. Do not trust your sweet fur babies in the care of this fickle establishment.

DON'T BRING YOUR DOG HERE!!! Don't trust this place with your dog! They kept my sweet dog trapped in a cage the entire day, I was able to watch the cameras and didn't see my dog in the play areas all day. As soon as I was able to rush over there to save my dog I saw them take her out of a cage. She is not aggressive and I never received a phone call or report of any bad behavior. I emailed the company and didn't get a email response or phone call so they obviously don't care about dogs or want to issue a simple apology. I also, recently got a invoice from this place and my dog hasn't been there in months. So not only do they abuse dogs they are scammers. I live in a nearby apartment and I have heard several horror stories from fellow residents. I'm truly disgusted by this place.

The staff was wonderful - both of my puppies had a great (and exhausting) day! They are barking to go back! They were also groomed with nail trims - excellent work!

Came here for grooming, and Heather did an awesome job with my golden retriever! Great experience all around.

Do not send your dog there. They are not properly trained and dont know signs or symptoms of common dog threats/emergencies. My dog left early with GDV and I wont go back. They took no accountability and could have handled the care and post check up with the customer better.

I absolutely LOVE this groomers!! Heather takes time before to tell me exactly how she will be grooming my baby to make sure I am okay with it. Max always ends up looking fabulous. He got a blueberry facial & whitening treatment today. He is SO happy. Dog City is one of the only groomers that I feel safe with leaving my pup with. He was in and out within 2 hours. Max loves going to Dog City!!!

My bernese mtn dog Coach got groomed by Heather and he is just the most beautiful boy! I absolutely loved the genuine care Heather took for Coach. She was SO SWEET to him, and I can tell she sincerely loves dogs and takes pride in her work. Coach looks so beautiful and perfectly trimmed and groomed. I will be coming here regularly!!!

I couldn't be more grateful for Dog City. I adopted a puppy to move out of state with me and it slipped away and took off out of the door on the way to the airport. Dog City offers great services - pick up and drop off. They were fast, friendly (very friendly), and very understanding. Nora and Brittany and the team. Are awesome. Neighborhood working together. The BEST place. If you are like me & a psycho about your dogs this is your place because they take such good care of your animals!!! Brittany at the front is such a sweetheart. She goes above & beyond for not only me when I'm in a pinch but for my dogs. It relieves my anxiety knowing I can board them or let them play all day while I'm at work! The report cards are adorable as well & watching them on the dog cam doesn't hurt either haha. Again thank you so much for taking care of my animals and for being such a great company & hiring the nicest sweetest people!

First of all, very professional pet parent- friendly. They allowed 7am drop-off even though my grooming appt was at noon. This allowed me to get to work on time and pick him up during my lunch hour. Brittney was very helpful the 3 times I called for help lol. And Heather? Man, I wish all groomers I've had were this attentive to detail and enjoyed what they did for a living. She even called me to double check what I was expecting. Heather made Coco look good as new after a long overdue groom. They are extremely affordable as well. Previous groomers have charged almost $80 for grooming a small dog. Thanks for such great customer service ! I would definitely recommend!

They could not even groom my dog or properly brush out his hair (it was matted after the bath they gave him) they still made me pay for everything and tried to blame my dog like yes he's young but other groomers were fine with him and with more than one person ya.. he's a havanese and they're not known to have bad temperaments like idk wtf terrible experience these ppl are incompetent, this happened in June and I'm still annoyed

I went there today for the first time, I have a 6 month old english bulldog and he is A LOT of work. He have so much energy, that is crazy! The staffs at Dog City handle it pretty well. I love the fact that they do daily reports about your dog and they also take pictures of your dog to send to you during the day, that's pretty cool! Also, the fact that they have cameras and you can watch your puppy any time is great! I definitely going to bring my puppy to play there again!

I've boarded my dog with Dog City the entire time we've lived in Dallas (moving out of state now so unfortunately won't make it back), and I highly recommend it. I always felt totally comfortable leaving him here because I knew he would be safe and feel cared for. The staff is very attentive to the specific needs of each dog and makes sure they do everything possible to put dogs and owners at ease. I also enjoyed being able to watch my dog on the dog cams they put in each room while he was there and receiving daily report cards to know he was doing okay. Love Dog City and sad to be leaving!!!

I paid $180 for my dog to get deshedded essentially. I asked for the full package where they groom, deshed, paws, haircut, etc. and they told me they couldn't do most of it because she was being stubborn and wasn't letting them which I can understand because my dog is not the easiest to handle at a groomers but the fact that they still charged me full price is ridiculous. All they did was bathe and deshed her, nothing else, and they still charged me $180. I went back to ask for a refund and they said that they would give me 25% off but that it would take a couple of days to show but I never received it. If your dog isn't the best with groomers, I suggest you go somewhere else because they don't know how to handle difficult dogs. I've taken my dog elsewhere where they were able to manage her even though she can be difficult.

No. Just no. My poor pup has bad anxiety and the staff were less than understanding about it. They punished him by keeping him in a crate because he tore up a blanket (because he was left in a crate). I got serious sass from the owner when I asked her about it. I'll never bring my dog here again and you shouldn't either!

If you have a shy or extremely timid dog, Dog City is the best place to trust with your best friend! I have a chihuahua, who was a shelter pup before and gets very frightened around strangers. She will shriek and attempt to bite out of fear if a stranger touches her. Except for Nora and our Dog City family! They are miracle workers, who take their time with her and make her feel safe. She even lets them touch her face! I also love the blueberry facial and moisturizing mask as she suffers from dry skin - it's a life saver. Finally, when I've traveled for work and she needed to unexpectedly go to the vet (anxiety), Nora made sure to take her immediately and keep me updated in real-time. This is a dog parent's sanity and comfort when you have to leave your friend behind!

Dog city is a fantastic, locally owned doggy daycare and boarding facility. I've lived in Dallas for almost 3 years, and for the first 2.5 years was taking my babies to another boarding facility near downtown. From the moment I walked into Dog City, I knew it was different. Every visit since my initial visit has been great. They call each of my dogs by name as soon as we walk in, and we only board about a weekend a month. They are able to drop my pups off at the house if I'm running late (for a small additional fee, but totally worth it), and I still love the cameras and the daily update emails that I get from their staff. Overall, even though they're slightly more expensive than other places, their prices are totally worth the quality. I would highly recommend to anyone needing overnight care for their fur-babies.

Updated review to clarify Nora's comments below. First and foremost, regardless as to whether or not you're short staffed it's no excuse to have your manager state on the phone that "Yes someone is in the room with the dogs at all times" and then back track and say "oh well not today." Also, even though the day after was not a holiday, you still didn't have someone in the room with the dogs at all times. Secondly, you did not refund the entire amount. I specifically told you that I would pay for the visits that my dog went to, you refunded the remaining amount, so yes I paid for the services I got. At the end of the day, your staff lied to me and while I appreciate you making a space for my dog, it still doesn't make up for the fact that you guys don't actively monitor the dogs nor are you guys truthful.

I've had many dog daycares and this is by far one of the best ones I've ever used! I travel frequently for work. They are so accommodating from providing photo updates twice a day on how he's doing to offering occasional complimentary grooming!! The owner even helped me walk to my car with his dog food. Talk about above and beyond service! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

My 2 french bulldogs LOVE this place!! We've been coming since day one. The staff is really accomodating and super nice. Before then I tried many different daycare and boarding in the area and my dogs always got sick. Dog City is the cleaniest of all of them. I have total trust in the owner and the people who work there. I just started to train one of my dog with their affiliated trainer and so far I'm really happy with him as well. Transparency, trust and quality are the main qualities that come in my mind when I think of this well-runned business!! Highly recommended.

We could not be happier with Dog City! Our little pup recently went blind and struggled to adjust at being alone with her new condition. The staff at DogCity from Jenny, Nora, Eveline, and Michelle have helped out little one return to her normal playful and sweet self. They are super attentive, and we love our daily report cards to see how she is during the day! We could not be happier to have them as a part of our dog life support system.

HORRIBLE!! HORRIBLE!! HORRIBLE!! If I could give 0 stars I would. That front desk lady, supposedly manager" needs to be FIRED!!! She is very RUDE and IGNORANT. She yelled like a fucking toddler at me because I was asking her why my dogs nails and face weren't cut. I have been here numerous of times and have never experienced such unprofessionalism. This lady said she would block me from the system only because I kept asking her questions. If you can't handle being asked simple questions without feeling like someone is attacking you, a managers role is not for you. Not only am I now blocked from this place, she violently and loudly told me "get the hell out of my lobby"!!! lmao what a way to handle a situation. After the temper tantrum, she apologized for her behavior. Fucking weirdo!!! I don't even know how I handle this situation so calmly. Everyone else was nice, spoke politely and calmly. The manager was another story. Horrible service, horrible person..... DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOGS HERE THEY WILL FUCK THEM UP AND YELL AT YOU LIKE ITS YOUR FAULT!!!!

I've been taking my dog here for a few months now and she loves it! She loves all of the employees, and they even send pictures of her getting pets during the day. I finally booked a grooming appointment with Heather and she did an incredible job!! I'm always nervous about taking my dog (an Australian Shepherd) to a new groomer, but Heather went above and beyond.

I just moved into town and was looking for a new facility to take my puppy to, i came into their facility yesterday and I was greeted by a very friendly employee named Tiffany. She was very professional and pleasant to talk to. She reassured me that she would take care of my dogs bathing, grooming, and play time needs. She really made me feel very comfortable about leaving my little baby here. Thank you Tiffany and I know ill be back.

I am giving this place two stars because the first time I took my dog here they didn't do a terrible job... this time they didn't even cut his top of his head the same length. Very horrible job for $55. I would not recommend going here for grooming.

Both of my Golden Retrievers love it here! They were great with them and so accommodating! She did an amazing job grooming them and was so sweet to call and get my approval before she started to cut any hair!

They put up a front when dropping off and picking up you pets and as soon as you leave they don't watch them like they should. Many times have other dogs ran out in the street because they're not in a leash. Owner pays for people to give good reviews

Do not leave your small dogs here. I called ahead to ensure a they had a small dog only area, which they assured me they did. Not only did they have big dogs in the area with her during her stay, she was returned to me with a swollen face and with bite marks all over her nose. The daily report cards I was sent mentioned nothing. The worst part is, she had to be hospitalized for two days after due to severe dehydration. I will not be returning to dog city under any circumstances.

Dog City is great! Hansel comes home happy and tired. They treat him very well and he smells nice afterwards. He has never gotten sick after attending daycare here unlike a few other daycares w have tried.

I've been bringing my doggo here for the past couple of years to get groomed and I have to say Dog City is the only place I will trust my baby with! He always comes out of grooming sessions confident and happy as opposed to scared and quiet when he would visit other places. The staff is amazing, very friendly and helpful and always greet my babe by his name. Thank you so much for all you do!

Love Dog City for daycare! My pup gets excited when we pull up and whines when we leave here, and I can tell from the cameras that he has the best time. They also do a report card every day so you get an update and cute pics of your dog! ALSO they can get groomed / bathed while at daycare which is so nice. Love it there!

Do not trust to bring your pets here. I had to put my puppy Stella down after severe health complications caused at Dog City. I was boarding my Frenchie (Stella), they at first kept her up front behind the counter because she was a small puppy and because even tho she was up to date on her shots she had not gotten all shots needed for her to play with other dogs. After a few weeks Dog City offered to take Stella to my vet for a small fee so that she may start playing with other dogs. As I kept dropping her off day after day I saw that she was playing with other dogs daily now. She ended up getting "kennel cough" and that quickly sprayed to intestinal problems and her health kept getting worst. I took her to an emergency vet and when I called to get my shot records I found that dog city never took Stella for her shots like they offered. After a couple of weeks at animal hospital we made the hard choice of putting her down. I contacted the owner to see who dropped the ball and instead my wife was blamed for not taking Stella for her shots. I have multiple texts from the owner stating that she's only partly to blame because it's my obligation to make sure my puppy has all her shots. I have now learned that some staff quit because of what happened and because of how the owner "Nora" handled everything. The owner is unprofessional and should be held responsible for the death of my puppy. DO NOT trust your loved ones here.

Forgot to include the best feature, they will send you photo updates throughout the day of your doggo and I've got to say they must have a professional photographer on staff bc some of these photos are so good I save them!

i went in to drop off my 3 year old, GSD, at his appointment for a bath, blowout and de-shedding of his coat. Before taking him in, I gave him a good brush to get all the hair I could get, even though I didn't need to do that. When I picked him up, the owner had the audacity to say "you need to de-shed him before bringing him in next time."... um well that is your job, I pay for you to do the services, do you ask someone at a nail salon to trim their nails before coming in? It came off very rude, after paying over $100 for bubba to still have hair coming off of him. They obviously didn't do a proper job if he's still continuing to shed the way he is. As they brought him out to me, he went straight to the door crying and whimpering to go outside. The WHOLE 3.5 hours he was there they did NOT take him outside to use the bathroom at all. I was so upset with this whole experience, I moved here from a very small town and I could honestly say I spent less and I left 100% happier then coming to this place that "vows" on being the best. Well, they suck:)

My lab River loves to board at Dog City. The team is so caring. Great parking for drop off. Modern, so clean and AC play areas by size. Ecard daily reports give me so much comfort when I am away! Allow pickups daily which is so helpful. Highly recommend!
