As soon as I saw the sign for Chicago Italian beef sandwiches at Dog Days Hot Dogs in Peachtree Corners, I had to flip a U-turn and check it out, and I am glad I did. I was already sold on getting the beef, but they surprised me by stuffing one of their sausages under all that juicy, tender roast beef, then baptizing the whole thing in rich au jus and topping it with spicy pickled veggies at my request. The bread soaked up the flavor just righ, and every bite was ridiculously good. I’m already plotting my return trip with my daughter and her boyfriend. I was not expecting such a great surprise on a late Tuesday afternoon. Christopher Scoma, DC NMT

Lunch today at one of my favorites: Dog Days in P’tree Corners If you LOVE Chicago Hot Dogs and/or Italian Beef then this is for YOU! Awesome food today and my guests felt likewise Not fancy but well run and clean The soda dispensing machine was out of order (2nd time so not sure why) Bottled Coke from Mexico which has a different type of sugar and VERY good Would I come back: Yes, and often!

Id die happy if my last meal was a Chicago Dog, this place definitely does the name justice. So happy I found this place. I only had the one but man the other stuff looked so good. The fries were pretty good, they aren’t thin but more like fat and stubby and short. The only thing that could’ve been better was the pound cake as a southern guy, I’ve had a lot and the flavor and outer texture were great but i think either it got a little dry or it a little too old. But other than that minor detail, it would’ve been the best. I still finished everything, so good.

Google
Imma wax poetic about hot dogs... Straddling the fine line between a messy pile of ingredients and a carefully crafted flavor experiment the hot dog reveals to the world the passion and care of it's maker. That being said I had the best damn chili dog of my life here.

My family and I just visited for the first time and was blown away. I got the Italian beef bowl, DH got the Chicago Dog, and DS got the chili cheese dog. The food came out quick and tasted amazing. We also got the baked beans which I honestly could have eaten by itself. Really great place and highly recommend. Sorry there are no pictures, I was too focused eating.

Love Dog Days! Great hot dogs with fresh ingredients. The staff are professional and friendly. Support a local business. Food is awesome. Onion Rings are real.

Google

Google
The food is good but it’s over price pacifically the French fries small medium never gotten the large couldn’t afford them. I have tasted the Italian beef 1 I like one I didn’t with mushrooms grilled onions and peppers. Just give me beef cheese dip very well worth the gardenia peppers and I’m good. Overall what I have ordered was good especially the Maxwell footlong polish that’s the bomb :)

Yelp
Friendly service, comfortable ambiance and most importantly very good tasting hot dogs!

Yelp
Stop looking at reviews and go get yourself an Italian Beef Deluxe, wet. I've only been here once, but I'll definitely be back. I live 40 minutes away, but if I was closer, I'd come once a week for this sandwich.

Yelp
The inside is vary spacious. All the tables were clean upon arrival. The cook/cashier wasn't as friendly as I would have liked but everyone has their own personality. The food was made to order so everything came out nice and hot. I recently had de tap work done so I couldn't eat like I wanted to. But with that said when I am in the area I will be returning. The hot dog was full of flavor. Like a Nathan's hot dog. The mushrooms and cheese were delicious. We had chips but I did not eat any. They looked pleasing to the eye though. When I do come back I will update my review. This was a nice experience.

Yelp
Amazing food!!! Homemade chips are on point, burgers were great, the Italian burger was wow and let's talk about the Philly steak! Chef's kiss! I'm a born and raised Jersey girl so Philly was where it was at for steak sandwiches. They got it great. It's not Philly but it's the best I've had outside of Philly.

Yelp
This place did remind me of Chicago. The Italian Beef dipped was excellent. I also had a pizza puff that was good. The Maxwell Polish didn't impress me. It definitely wasn't like Chicago. The deep fried polish just didn't taste the same. All and all I would go back for the Italian Beef.

Yelp
Dog Days always piqued my interest whenever I drove past on Peachtree Industrial but only recently ventured in while on a craving for a hot dog. I had just finished an açaí bowl... but it just wasn't filling in that satisfying way, you know?? Guy working the register was super nice and friendly, which seems hard to find these days. He helped us decide on the Baja Dog and paired it with some tots. The Baja Dog was tasty but I felt like I didn't need all those extra toppings. I did appreciate the jalapeños, though. And those TOTS omg. Super hot and crispy, perfection. There is a long list of hot dogs that I've yet to try and need ASAP. Will need to stop back in again soon!

Don S.

Yelp
Hot dog had the right snap to it, very satisfied. Taters tots were crispy, and the burger was delicious.
google avatar

Yelp
Always fresh. The best Chicago style food in the area! I always get an Italian beef dipped, with hot peppers. Takes me home. The Chicago dog never misses. Every now and then I get a pizza puff for good measure.

Yelp
Both visits were with a group, so we got to sample lots of different items and overall everyone was happy with their food. I had the Italian Beef + Sausage Deluxe and it was massive and I had to eat it with a knife and fork. On my second trip I had the Bacon Bleu Cheese burger and both visits with tots as the side. It's also a big burger, so portions are a strong point. A friend from Chicago also vouched for the authenticity of the flavors and approved. The counter staff was friendly and the food came out relatively quickly. We had not trouble finding seating on the weekend and it's a decent sized interior. It will definitely be a go-to stop when I'm in this neighborhood again.

Yelp
Best dogs in town... can't beat it.... Good selection of different dogs... Chicago and Carolina slaw my personal favs

Amireh A.

Yelp
Love this place. It's clean and quite and the food is always good. My favorite is the veggie Reuben dog with tots. They fry their tots, fries and onion rings crispy -- which I absolutely love. Every time I go I feel like they are cooking just for me! I've tried their polish dogs and their chili dogs. Haven't tried their burgers yet but hey, I'm here for the dogs! Love their sidewalk space. It looks well cared for and the plants are lovely I want to take them home to my patio. Besides being a good cook someone has a green thumb. Hey-it's summer. It's hot dog time.

Yelp
Like another reviewer recently posted, be cautious of ordering here and the likelihood of being substantially over charged. If I wasn't in a hurry, I would have cancelled my order and gone elsewhere... Per the digital menu, above the cashier, a burger and side of house chips should have been around $10. The cashier tells me my order is over $16 (for one single patty burger and a small order of chips). When I questioned the price, the response is, "We are in the process of updating our menu". - Fair enough, I won't be back.
google avatar

Alex K.

Yelp
This is the best Italian beef I've had outside of Chicago. I'm always on the lookout because it's my favorite sandwich, one level up from my Philly cheesesteak whiz wit. So we got the wet with extra jard on the side and hit peppers, and it was amazing. Even in Chicago I'd give this place 4 stars. It was quite authentic and very delicious. I'm coming back!
google avatar

Michael A.

Yelp
If you're craving a killer sandwich, get the deluxe Italian beef. It's one of the best sandwich ever. Sadly the hot dogs were boring.
google avatar

Jay J.

Yelp
Wow thanks for that you do. We had a philly cheese steak sub, and sausage sandwich it was delicious. The chef has this down pack thanks to the Chef. Service was just Great. Please keep it up

Tmz D.

Yelp
Great food, service, prices and atmosphere. I have been eating here for years now. They never disappoint. They serve up Chicago style foods thats not available in many places in Georgia. They are also a great asset to the Norcross/Peachtree Corners community!
google avatar

Amber M.

Yelp
I was in for a treat. The hot dogs was delicious, the fires was bussing, This is a hidden gem in the area. I would drive just for these hotdogs

Daniel P.

Yelp
I usually don't write too many reviews but this place deserves it. I ordered a huge bacon burger and it was very tasty. Customer service was amazing, guy at the counter was very helpful and inviting. My order came out very quick. Definitely will be back to try more of the menu and especially if i have the taste for a burger!!!

Yelp
Place was quiet when we went which was nice. Service was fast. Food? Delicious! Had a BBQ hot dog with pulled pork, BBQ Sauce and Slaw that and the Chicago hot dog. Both were yummy! Husband had the Santa Fe burger which was pretty juicy and good too. I stole a few bites from his burger. overall good place to grab a quick bite to eat.

James W.

Yelp
Love this place when you want a real hot dog. Locally owned and nice atmosphere. Prices are about as expected.

Yelp
This place reminds me of a surf shop / sports bar / record store that serves a variety of dogs and burgers. I enjoyed the polish sausage dog and the all American with a side of totchos. Drinks are one size and that is small but refills are free. The buns were warm and soft and the food was good. Not a 5 star but better food and vibes than a 3 star. There are so many combinations that you can't judge this place with one visit. It will take a few trips to really get into all the different choices. I did see many of the brewery patrons getting orders to eat while drinking next door. That would be a great addition to the dogs. A big ole beer
google avatar

Jeff K.

Yelp
A truly great Chicago dog. Perfect condiments and good fries. A fun place to eat and just look at the stuff on the walls.

Charles H.

Yelp
Dogs were great, BUT....... $18 for two hotdogs and a very small fountain drink is ridiculous!!! I love hot dog places but I will not be eating here again, way to expensive
google avatar

Yelp
I saw the good reviews & decided to try. Its just ok,nothing special. TRUST! I got the chili slaw dog. Its was just ok. I ordered the onion rings. They taste hand battered, and actually better than ok but still just ok. I forgot i ordered the Italian beef with gravy on side to go. It was dry :( .... They were out of jumbo dogs. Really I'm kinda sad it was not better.
google avatar

P P.

Yelp
I hadn't been to this restaurant in several years. But, woke up with a hot dog craving that wouldn't quit. Called to verify hours and made the trip. The place looked pretty much as I remembered. They happened to be out of jumbo hot dogs, so I got the regular size. I ordered 2 hot dogs pretty much dressed all the way. You know, chili, cheese, onions, jalapenos, cole slaw and sauerkraut. Ordered a side of chili, all coming to a whooping price of over $25 dollars. I almost balked, but went ahead and paid. The chili was so-so. The hot dogs were good, but I think I will just do up my own in the future.
google avatar

Sasha R.

Yelp
Randomly wanted to grab lunch and stumbled on this place. Super quirky hot dog joint ambience with a hometown feel. The hot dog selection was easy to pick from because they had photos of each dog. I got the mac and cheese dog with bacon and the 141 dog with onions rings. Everything was delicious, I sprung for the jumbo dogs and man were they fillling. Best onions rings I've had in a while also.
google avatar

Yelp
The food here is amazing. I love their Philly cheesesteak it is delicious and in my opinion it's the best in Atlanta. Their service is fine there is no problem with it but you don't have a waiter because you order at the counter. The food here is great so I highly recommend.
google avatar

Jennifer S.

Yelp
AMAZING Philly Cheesesteaks!!! I got everything on it including Mayo abs A-1 and it was the best Philly I have ever had. I have been the Philadelphia and had "famous" Philly Cher steak sandwiches there and they were trash compared to this. Also Woodys Philly restaurant in Atlanta has been a longtime favorite for cheesesteaks for me but this place will be my new go to place they are even better than Woodys!! I'M HOOKED!!!
google avatar

Yelp
Everything here that I've tried is great! Good food. Quick service. Great variety of dogs (in 2 sizes), sausages, and sandwiches. Even had a veggie burger when I was on a meat fast and enjoyed it (though I'm no veggie burger connoisseur). My fave: the New Yorker (kraut, chili, onion, mustard), but there is something for every taste palette. 3 years since I discovered it and I'm in 3-4 times a year, never a bad experience so far.

Joe L.

Yelp
Had an Italian beef with sausage. It was great. Will definitely eat here again! Also nice there is a brewery right next door.

Dwayne J.

Yelp
Food is Great!!! It reminds me so much of Chicago and Milwaukee. I'm from the Midwest and they gets it right!!! The Italian Beef!!! Whew!!! Dipped!! On point with the hot peppers. The Maxwell Street Polish's and Chicago Hot Dogs!!! Yes!!! And my wife loves their Chicken Cheese Steak Sandwich!!!!!

Yelp
Had dinner at Dog Days one evening - decided to check it out due to the generally favorable reviews on Yelp. I went with the Hot dog that comes with a Chipotle Chili sauce, bacon, and cheddar. I had them add chopped fresh jalapeños and onion to top it off. Plus an order of tater tots, and a bottle of water. The meal was damn tasty! They have so many yummy sounding things on the menu - can't to come back and try some other things! #DogDays
google avatar

Yelp
So far, this is the best Italian beef I've had in North Atlanta. Whenever I get that craving, this is my go-to.

Yelp
Want a great selection of hot dogs paired with unique and flavorful toppings? Then Dog Days in Peachtree Corners is where you need to go! This small mom and pops place is decorated in ode to sports teams and ha a cozy nook feel. The cashier is always there smiling and serving every time I go! My dish for the day was the Reuben Dog (small) with homemade chips and a drink! The hot dog come in regular size or large ball park. My Reuben Dog was topped with Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, Reuben sauce and a pickle. SO GOOD! You can always add different toppings, the options are endless! The homemade chips had the perfect crunch to accompany the hot dog on the sesame bun and this lunch was under $10! I'm always looking for good price and great food. All employees were wearing masks and they did have a plastic shield at the front counter. Go check this place out for a lunch or dinner you won't be disappointed!

Yelp
So I ordered through Grubhub and I must say, I was not disappointed. The menu has various options, not just for hotdogs but hamburgers and other options as well . Everything seems so delicious when looking at the menu. I really wanted a chilli cheese dog and when ordering, I failed to notice it had cole slaw on it. When I received it, I felt a "darn it" moment (since I'm not a fan of coleslaw) but decided to give it a try. It was actually very delicious! Their "small" hot dogs are so loaded and big that I don't know where they get the small from. The other hot dog ordered was delicious as well so this is definitely a place I would check out again!

Yelp
We have lived in this area for three years and FINALLY decided to try this spot. I confess - I put it off because I am just not a fan of hot dogs. But one night, I let my husband choose where to have dinner, and we ended up here. The spot is located in a strip mall with ample parking. The decor is eclectic and fun, celebrating sports teams and Atlanta-themes. There are a number of tables and a couple of TVs. I arrived thinking I would order a chili-cheese dog. But then - I spotted it. FRITO PIE! I spent seven years in Texas, and nearly every spot in Texas offers a Frito Pie. In Georgia, not so much. So, I am sold. Now, I know I have a Frito Pie spot right in my own backyard! The portion size was perfect - not too small and not too large. Flavor was great. Frito Pie is one of my favorite comfort foods, so I am sure we will return. The hubs (from Detroit) tried the Chicago Dog and thought it was great. Our five-year-old tried the regular Junior Hot Dog and didn't touch it. In the restaurant's defense, our kid's favorite pastime is ordering food at restaurants and not eating it. I'm glad we finally stopped in - we will be back!

Yelp
I have a lot of Cat Days, mainly because of Starlight and Son and the gang. Dog Days, not so much, but they sound lovely. It's a pretty decent attempt at a Chicago dog, and certainly wasn't awful, but it was overpriced. I was overcharged but then refunded. The dog was decent, as I said, but compared to 2 of the ones down the street (Lucky Dog and Flavors Of Chicago) it wasn't authentic enough and didn't come on a poppy seed roll either. It was on some kind of weird wheat roll. It's still a really cool place though, with tons of seating space and really amazing Chicago decor, and easily deserves a 4 star rating. I'm obsessed with Chicago dogs, can you tell.
google avatar

Esther K.

Yelp
Dog Days is located in a small shopping strip off of Peachtree Parkway (right before you get on 141). Our go to place for Chicago Dogs and tater tots! They have variety of toppings and options to top your hot dogs. They also have turkey and veggie hotdogs available. Onion rings are good too. They also carry some desserts which look good in the display but have yet to try. I haven't tried their burgers yet but will try it the next time I'm there. Portions are pretty good here as well. Everything is pretty reasonably priced and staff is friendly. The interior is bright and eclectic. They have a good bit of seating available as well. I like the sports paraphernalia that's displayed throughout the dining are. Definitely give them a try if you're looking for some good hotdogs.
google avatar

Trisha B.

Yelp
Dog Days is a local hot dog shop known for their Chicago-style dogs. It's located off of Peachtree Pkwy next to Nemoe's Tavern and a dance studio. Parking is ample. Atmosphere is very casual with booths and tables and tons of sports decor. There's a menu on the wall and you place your order with the cashier. If you're dining in, they bring your order to you. We had just visited Chicago and wanted to see what Atlanta had to offer on Chicago Dogs. We tried their Mac n Cheese Dog, 141 Dog, Chicago Dog, fries and tater tots. The hot dogs are pretty much the same size as any other hot dog, but they do a good job of packing it with whatever ingredients are included for that specific dog. Just specify whether you want a "small" or "1/4 pound" dog. Fries and tots are standard, and you can choose to either get a meal (fries and a drink) for an extra $3.50. You're responsible for cleaning up after yourself when you're finished, but service is really friendly, there's several TVs around, and tons of seating available. Overall, I would definitely come back if I was in the mood for a Chicago dog. They definitely aren't as good as Chicago (or as cheap), but it's pretty good for being in Atlanta!
google avatar

Gretchen S.

Yelp
Menu looks great! Dog is awesome , fries so-so. Next time I'll order online though. The customers are not wearing masks and don't care.
google avatar

Sean K.

Yelp
This is the best hot dog place around. I've had quite a few menus items and I recommend them all. What a little hidden jewel. Even if you're not close, this place is with the trio if you're in the mood for a hotdog.
google avatar

Clay B.

Yelp
I have to say it was a pleasure to try them out but it's just not my taste. The taste of the chili just seemed off for me only. Parking was plentiful & only 2 others were there at the time of the visit.
google avatar

Lauren O.

Yelp
Delicious and unique hot dogs. I got one with Mac and cheese. And one with bbq and carameluzed onions. While it's not as cheap as some hotdogs, it is worth the price. The staff was super nice and awesome. They even brought out a bowl of water to my dog at the outside table.
google avatar

Lan N.

Yelp
Wanted to grab a hot dog for national hot dog day! Good place to grab a quick dinner or snack if you want burgers or hot dogs. Plenty of seats to sit down and enjoy your meal. There's a little extra room if you have a big party. When ordering definitely know what size you want ahead of time because he will ask you. We got the large Georgia dog topped with coleslaw and bbq sauce and a small Baja dog which is topped with pepperjack, lettuce and guacamole. Tasty! They're beef hotdogs. We also added a side of small tots and a large drink. Definitely will return!
google avatar

James L.

Yelp
Fantastic service and food. We've ordered food many times and their consistency is wonderful yes ma'am

Yelp
Was exploring eats near my job and ran into Dog Days. The restaurant is located in a strip mall near Ba Bellies so there is plenty of parking. No issues there. The restaurant has very eclectic decor, a little bit of everything from everywhere but it also makes the restaurant have a home-y type feel. I ordered the Baja Dog and the Chicago Dog with regular fries. Food came out fast and everything was hot and fresh. The Baja Dog was unique (I'm always looking for unique flavors). All of the toppings worked well together. Chicago Dog was good but basic of course. Fries were hot and fresh. Overall a great experience. It is a bit pricey though for hotdogs in my opinion. Still good though. I would go back and try other dogs.

Vinny C.

Yelp
Everyone there is nice. Love the old 70's music. Hotdogs are just okay. You will not walk away saying this is the best hotdog I have ever had. The buns are over-steamed. They are too wet. A little pricey, but what isn't pricey today. I will be back, but I can make a better hotdog at home.
google avatar

Jennavieve K.

Yelp
This place is absolutely amazing!!! They have the absolute best hotdogs and beef sandwiches I've ever had in Georgia and I'm not even a big hotdog fan. The beef sandwich is just as good as Portillo's beef sandwich in Chicago,IL. Highly recommend this casual spot for lunch or dinner. They have fresh baked desserts and tons of different loaded hotdog options as well. Great local, family owned spot that is affordable.

Roger V.

Yelp
Had the Italian beef with peppers and aus jus and Chicago dog are both are absolute fire! So good.
google avatar

Monique H.

Yelp
My last minute run for a hot dog had my driving 23 miles from my location to get to Dog Days before they closed. I grew up eating Chicago Style hotdogs and these are some of the best. Their menu kind of reminds me of the corner stand on Halsted and Maxwell Street in Chicago. The only thing missing is the pork chop sandwich. I have had many items on the menu and none have failed me yet. Be sure to check them out. Always great service. If you go during lunch don't be intimidated by the long line it moves pretty fast.
