Hot Dog Destination Dog Haus Will Open in Arlington and Burleson - Eater Dallas

"Dog Haus, the California chain known for stuffing hot dogs inside split Hawaiian rolls, will bring two new outposts to DFW in 2019. A representative for Dog Haus tells Eater that it has plans to open restaurants in Arlington and Burleson as part of a major national expansion that will double the chain’s size over the next year. No addresses have been yet chosen for the Arlington and Burleson outposts, which will join the first DFW location of Dog Haus that opened at the Richardson Restaurant Park in 2017. Ultimately, the chain plans to open at least 20 locations in the metroplex, though Arlington and Burleson are the only chosen cities as of now. For the unfamiliar, Dog Haus is known for its inventively-topped hot dogs and sausages that are served inside three top-split sweet Hawaiian rolls that function as a bun. The dogs are topped with a variety of accoutrements, ranging from the typical chili and cheese to bacon-wrapped dogs slathered in cheese sauce and fried onions, or vegetarian hot italian sausage topped with avocado, arugula, and basil aioli. Burgers, sandwiches, and sliders round out the menu, along with sides like cheese-topped tots and cole slaw." - Amy McCarthy

Came in for a weekday dinner, it was kinda so so overall experience. They weren't busy, there wasn't anyone tending the register... most likely staff was doing something elsewhere that might have needed attention but since no one was there to take our order we just grab menus & sat down. Eventually we saw someone walk by so we got up to go place our orders. Little Mule - the egg was cooked perfectly, really good & I was happy with this. I asked for the jalapeños on the side, but never got them & no one came around after our food arrived. Chili Cheese Tots - generous serving, but after a few minutes it just becomes mush. Fries - I can't remember what my friend got, it had maybe some garlic aioli with spicy sauce. Those were good, I'd choose the fries over tots. Bad Mutha Clucker - Friend said it was okay, not the best or a must have but average. Sliders - Great that these come on hawaiian rolls, hearty & filling according to my friend. It was a bit warm in there, the prices are decent, & overall the restaurant seems clean. It just lacks atmosphere, the place looks great but the vibe was just "meh". Maybe it's better when it's busy or on the weekends.

Google
This was our first time here. I was honestly surprised at how dead it was on Fathers Day. We thoroughly enjoyed the selection of dogs and burgers as well as the beer selection on tap. We plan on coming back!

C-M L

Google
So glad found this nearer Fort Worth and with similar vegetarian options in Arlington! We especially enjoy the Impossible Sliders (kid portions) and happily order 3 each time while mommy had her own meat selection.

John Barnett

Google
A bit pricey, but damn it was yummy! Definitely coming back. The atmosphere is laid back. The employees are friendly and easy to talk to and joke with. The food was unique in it's flavors and yet familiar. The Kings Hawai'ian Sweet bread enhances the brats to a New level for me. I say go and try it out. I've put off coming for months and now I deeply regret that decision. Why? Quite simply because I could have been enjoy some damned amazing food and probably some good beers to boot!

Brandon Lamott

Google
Nothing special especially for the price. Food tasted great but having a 20 min wait for a chilli dog is crazy. Next time I’ll save my money and go to a hotdog stand outside of a Lowe’s/ Home Depot. 25 dollars for a chilli dog and chilli cheese fries with a drink

Google
My son wanted to go here as we were in town from Canada for the Tyson fights. Jake Paul owns this place so it was a no brainer to check it out. Man was it delicious. The staff were incredible. Service was super fabulous. As we were eating I noticed the workers were cleaning and dusting or sweeping. Such hard working staff. The manager gave my son a Jake Paul poster and shirt and took the time to talk to us. Such a nice man! My teen was on cloud 9!

Google
I have reared the breakfast burrito…. ; they’re having a 2 for 1 special! They have excellent good!! Fresh, great taste and certainly a place that definitely provides great product!! I highly recommend…, I had it delivered by DoorDash and the two of them make a great team!!

Erik Brown

Google
This place was not at all what I expected. The food is amazing and the service was top notch even though they were short staffed. Portions are huge. We shared a hot dog and tots and it was more than enough. Beer was super cold and the cocktail was great! I’d definitely recommend!
google avatar

Yelp
Stopped by and the menu is very appealing if your into gourmet dogs. I had the old town and it was amazing. The hot dog is well topped and the meat of the hot dog has good flavor. The ambiance is nice, great spot to watch sports. The service was ok. It seemed they were short handed on a Saturday night, there was only two employees. It took about 30 mins for one hot dog. So just beware. Is it worth it, yes... but is it quick svc, no
google avatar

Denise G.

Yelp
We have been to this location before several times and it used to be so good! Not sure what's going on here. The last time we came it was a little off because they were short staffed. Last night? I have no idea but this was it for us. Service isn't bad but isn't that great. Food? It's not the same or the cooks need training. I ordered the Little Mule, my son ordered the same, my husband ordered a cheeseburger and added bacon. First let me start with the patties. Those patties were fried to a crisp. Almost burned. There wasn't any flavor there. The cheeseburger came with no bacon, we don't like to send food back so we asked if he could just get the bacon, they brought out bacon bits. Bacon bits. When my husband told the girl that brought the food out that he added bacon and the bacon wasn't there, she said "it's there". It wasn't there, she was really bothered that we asked. But we paid for it? So we're going to ask. We just asked the guy at the register. He was nice about it. But it was bacon bits. So bacon bits it is. I asked for my egg to be over easy and it was overcooked. Again. We never send food back. Definitely not going to do it here. The only thing that was decent was the chili cheese fries. Bacon bits is crazy work.

Yelp
I love them, they have so many different kinds of dogs and sliders and they have amazing fries and a ton of beer that's on top. Lots of different kinds. Every time I've been there it's been fun, there's the games on and we have just really enjoyed how nice everyone is and how much they make you feel accepted and happy to be there
google avatar

Jeff J.

Yelp
What a great little gem. Amazing food, a good amount of screens for sports and a great tap selection. Watched the Bills Ravens game, the garlic cotija fries were very well done! Amazing sause but with the double fry, they stayed nice and crispy. Had the brat and the sliders, way yum. I will visit again!

Yelp
Sigh I truly hate writing reviews like this. I've had plenty of great food from different Dog Haus locations. On this late night I saw they introduced a delicious Ohana Chicken Sandwich. They did a very good job with the product shots making it look like a well portioned sandwich for $12. When my order arrived via Door Dash I was greeted with a telling, light bag. Inside I found a sad and small glorified slider. I honestly felt robbed. Paying $12 for a tiny sandwich and NO side is blasphemy. Lack of consistency among menu items is very disheartening to me as this is the same establishment that serves a sizable and tasty breakfast burrito for a pricey $17. Unfortunately, the inflated prices don't reflect the quality and I'll therefore have to discontinue my business here. I included reference photos just incase anyone had their doubts and management can perhaps re-evaluate their price point. For comparison: Panda Express Plate - $12 Jersey Mikes Regular (7") Club Sub - $12 In N Out Double-Double Combo - $7

Yelp
Ordered a build your own beef dog and it came without the beef dog. Everything else tasted fine

Yelp
Had to check out the remodeled location; must have been a lot of internal work down; don't really notice changes in the interior Staff at the bar; especially Makell was friendly and hard working! I had the remodel special; a craft beer and 100% Black Angus burger/Little Mule for $6. The beer tasted fresh and the burger was huge, perfectly cooked and delicious They do a really good job with their craft beer selection; so many Texas breweries represented! Had a Sunday sample of their mimosa; was very tasty. Enjoyed the music and people watching. Parking in The Highlands is always a challenge but the Dog Haus is worth any hassle.

Yelp
Good food Good service & recommendations Good atmosphere/ambiance This spot is SLEPT on. Has great vegetarian options too!
google avatar

Lauren R.

Yelp
My brother brought me a hotdog home today, and even after reheating the dog was pretty darn good! I got the old town. Toppings were fresh and the bun was sweet and soft. I'm surprised by all the 1-star reviews but my hotdog was quite delightful
google avatar

Mark T.

Yelp
Every time that I go to this place , they fix my food perfectly to the way that I ordered it. The food is prepared when you order it, not sitting under a heating lamp! I have never had to return a product , saying that it was cold or tasted funny. I strongly recommend Dog Haus Biergarten! You will absolutely love it! MARK TACKETT!
google avatar

Jess M.

Yelp
I don't know what it is lately but we've been paying an awful lot of money for cold food. On the Cowboy (which comes with nacho cheese) that is a completely disgusting mouth feel. The 'Miso' ranch that was $0.79 extra was severely lacking in any capacity to deem it worthy of the price. Not only that, but the party behind us got their food before us and we waited for quite awhile despite it being dead on a Friday night. We also had to ask for our beer because they did not give it to us with our meal. I'd been here prior and thought it was okay. I guess COVID hit them hard? All in all just make your own hotdogs I guess.

Pshkt B.

Yelp
This is a great spot! Open air many days, nice craft beer draft selection, and really good Dogs, Brats, and burgers. The staff is always great. Open for breakfast, lunch, & dinner.
google avatar

Nathan M.

Yelp
One of the few places that serves both an extensive menu of craft beer and cocktails. Great vegetarian offerings too.

Yelp
I've edited the review to a 3 star from a 1 star, due to response from the manager below, providing clarity. Thank you. Sandwich still bland. :) please consider making the sandwich in the restaurant. I came for the bad mutha clucka sandwich that I saw advertised on Facebook. I love cheese, and seasoned chicken - the video (took screenshots of the video- posted below) and the product I received were two different products. False advertisement. I promise I would've NEVER paid $11 for this or any dry, unseasoned basic chicken sandwich. A misnomer for sure. I had already driven away by the time I even looked at the sandwich. What I saw advertised : two slices of cheese. Chicken tenders covered in some kind of sauce and sprinkled with extra seasoning- what seemed to be coleslaw (they seasoned this too) and nacho cheese. What I received : dry sandwich with a little Mayo?? Lettuce. That is it. See the pictures. I am beyond Extremely disappointed. Extremely. $11 is way too much for a mis-advertised sandwich, or sandwich period. I even looked at the menu to see if I made a mistake and ordered the wrong thing- the sandwich on this advertisement wasn't listed on their menu. Take this promo ad down!!! I'm so mad-- and now driving to another establishment so I can get something to eat. Missed the mark with this one.

Yelp
Thank GOD I waited to review as initially this place had good food and the most horrible service with the most clueless cashiers and cooks who couldn't read a ticket to save their life. We saw so much potential in this place in spite of sending food back 2-4 times to get it to come out correct. However when it came out correct it taste amazing so we saw the vision. We took a 2 month hiatus from this place due to the inconsistencies and having to do so much to get the food to come back correct. We decided a week ago to come check them out again after 2 months and when I tell you this place was amazing from start to finish. I was compelled to call over the manager to compliment our experience after being away for months and asked "what changed". He asked "Have you seen me before" I replied "No". He said he cleaned house and things are different. I told him THANK YOU as I appreciate the change it TASTE SO DANG GOOD & the cashiers was very literate and able to take the order without asking 1,000,000 questions or entering information incorrectly. The food wasn't over cooked and came out piping hot and flavorful.

Howard ..

Yelp
They one guy taking orders, I'm guessing he was the manager, the service was AWESOME. The food was different but good, the atmosphere was average pop restaurant, however the BEER selection was off the chart, I had to look up some of their selection.. Definitely worth it

Charles A.

Yelp
The Dog is back in the Haus!! Went at happy hour and enjoyed the food and beer selection. All good and great service. Will be back!!! Give the place a try!!!

Yelp
Updating my review as I recently paid another visit, and just as before, it was a 5 Star visit !!! This is my third visit here. I had the Tooo Chi which was Slap Yo Momma Good !!! I should've ask for two more sport peppers as they're awesome. The place was clean and the staff was very friendly. I sure wish I could've ordered some beers, but I was working. I also had the chili cheese fries which were delicious. This place is definitely worthy of a bookmark and a try !!!

Andrew P.

Yelp
The food here is always good but the service is awful enough for even me to unhappy with. Every time I've been here it has taken at least 20 minutes to get my beer after ordering and sitting at the bar which is somehow even slower. I really like this place but it's like management is trying to encourage people to order online so you don't have to spend an hour getting your flat beer, check or to go boxes.

Ayden R.

Yelp
If I could give this place less than 1 star I would, and oh boy where to begin... The staff is completely rude and inconsiderate continually asking me to tab out after every single item i ordered which is ridiculous. Then to the food, uhh completely stale bun, stale tots, very little flavor in anything. Was hoping the beer would a saving grace, but I was wrong beer tasted like it's been sitting for a month in room temp. At least the TVs work! oh, but none of the ones at the bar. As a matter of fact there's not even a bartender? Strange, the cashier came over and asked me if I wanted something to drink. Asked for a simple whiskey and coke... The "bartender" didn't even know how to make that umm okay. I just wouldn't recommend, the place closed not too long ago and reopened was hoping for something better. It was somehow worse.

Yelp
I guess business hours mean nothing here. Employee looked at me try to open door and never came and unlocked it after 8am

Yelp
Great food! went was Robert help us the entire time. He was so welcoming. Thank you Robert for the awesome time! was our first time there saw this place on fox 4 news and I'm glad I tried it. I will be back!!!!!

Yelp
Finally They Are back open! Food is always amazing here and love the music. The liquid death selection really made my partner happy as hell See you back again very soon

Yelp
I should have taken more seriously the advice of other Yelpers and ordered the soooo veggie dog or beyond brat. Translation: a return visit. Counter service, order, pay, take a number. Easy peasy. Recommendations were again pushed forward by the cashier for the soooo veggie dog or beyond brat. She said add caramelized onions to your bratwurst or dog. You will love it... I ordered the impossible burger with caramelized onions and extra pickles. The caramelized onions on the impossible burger were forgotten. But delivered soon thereafter to be added to my impossible burger while still hot. Points for that. Thanks!!!!Rememberable service. Unfortunately, I had built up a hefty appetite after hiking. With that being said, that small "slider" sized impossible burger did not satisfy. It's a delicious small bite. Toasted Hawaiian roll bun and all. I could have used two beyond meat patties very easily. Krispy sweet potato fries came highly recommended. Krispy fries are the key to my heart.

Yelp
Service was good from the entrance the exit. This was our first time visiting, so we didn't know what to expect. The menu was extensive and I would have preferred the gentleman taking our order be a little more patience, he wasn't rude, but he wasn't helpful either. The ringer was delicious. Both drinks, an old fashioned and blind melon, were a little watered down. The hot dog and sausage were well seasoned. We will visit again and refer to Yelp for menu guidance.

Yelp
Dog Haus! Jon and I decided to have lunch on the outdoor patio bar recently one evening when the weather wasn't too hot and the bar was totally empty. They had cool air blowing even outside, so it was super pleasant. Our waitress and bartender, Lexi, was THE BEST. She knew the menu so well, made wonderful recommendations from drinks to dogs to sides to sauces, checked on us to make sure we wanted for nothing, and entertained us! Her personality and enthusiasm really made a difference in our experience and I'd be happy to come back just to see her. We were just in the mood for some snacks, nothing outrageous, and luckily it was happy hour! I ordered the sliced sausage (beef chorizo pepper jack) with the garlic aioli dipping sauce, plus cheese tater tots. Yum, so good! Jon got the Haus wings and two beef sliders, which were picture perfect. It was plenty of delicious food at a great price. Jon had whisky and coke while I enjoyed a "crackberry" cider. It was an enjoyable meal and very comfortable at the bar. With the casual ambiance and Lexi's great company, we lounged for quite awhile! Dog Haus doesn't have a designated gluten free menu but you can get any dog or burger in a lettuce wrap instead of a bun. Works for me. :) We'll be back!

L S.

Yelp
The food was great and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I had the Old Town and it was very flavorful. My wife said her burger was the best burger she has had in a long time. We also tried Das Braut, which was also very good. Our kids loved their hot dogs and tater tots. The buns on the burger and dogs are very flavorful and added to the meal, as opposed to just being part of the meal. I'd highly recommend this place.

Andrea B.

Yelp
I think one of the best places that have their unique way to simple dishes such as hotdogs, burgers or burritos. The food came out quick and I love the inside as well since it's very well lit when you come during the day.
google avatar

Lindsay S.

Yelp
I heard this place had impossible brand meats and I was craving a burger. I had also heard that this place us a Hawaiian rolls for their buns, so I was extra excited. We were greeting by a really nice cashier and she was so helpful in explaining the menu to us. We came in around noon on a Sunday and there was only one other party eating at that time. So we placed our order and waited for our food . It felt like it took a while to come out, but since this was our first time we were y too sure how quickly the food comes out. Our food came out a little cooler than Luke warm. I feel like a hot meal would have been the difference between a 5 star review and this 3. We ordered cheese fries and the the cheese had already set and gelled on top of the fries. My sons sliders, my burger, my husbands burger and the cheese fries were all slightly above above room temperature, but nothing came out hot. There are some really good reviews, so maybe we just came on an off day.
google avatar

Yelp
First time trying this place out, and it has a cool comfortable vibe, pleasing to the eyes. The staff I encountered were very nice, 5 stars for the place and staff. The food: I wanted to do my normal wiggle dance when I immensely enjoy my food, but it was just ok to me, not bad at all, but just ok. My sausage didn't have too much flavor and I mostly tasted the flavor of the very well toasted delicious Hawaiian bun. The sweet potato fries were awesome, I enjoyed those! I also tried the Rootbeer battered corn dog, again it wasn't bad, but it didn't leave me craving for more. There are alot of other things on the menu that look worth a try, so maybe if I decide to come back, I will try something different. Overall, I would still suggest this place is worth a try, I really enjoyed the atmosphere!

Rax T.

Yelp
Food is absolutely awesome! Chicken strips were crispy and seasoned deliciously! Wings were HUGE, dogs/brats were big and 1 was enough to fill me up but I had to get the Chile cheese fries just to make sure! Service was awesome, you g lady was very polite. Cool little spot to hang out and enjoy some cool cocktails!
google avatar

David N.

Yelp
Came in early like at 830am, stood at the counter for like 5 minutes, no workers in sight. I left after that. Should've taken a cookie at the counter. Don't come in early even though they advertise that they are open at 7/8 am. Probably they are open at 11am in reality.
google avatar

Tara M.

Yelp
So many vegan options. Impossible chicken tenders and nuggets. Beyond brat and burger. All items were amazing. Great service. Friendly staff. Big selection of beers. The Fonz was so flavorful. Corn dogs cooked perfectly. Cheese fries were on point.
google avatar

Rebecca C.

Yelp
Good place but they leave the skin on the hotdogs and it's disgusting. You have to buy through the skin to get to the hotdog and it's very tough.
google avatar

Nina D.

Yelp
I paid $12 for a lukewarm hot dog and a fountain drink. The fountain drink was good. I guess the hot dog was thoroughly heated at some point during the day but it certainly wasn't hot when I got it. I got the Too Chi Chicago dog. It was on a thick bun that split as soon as I picked it up. Not a poppy seed in sight. The staff was friendly. Would never go back though.
google avatar

Julie P.

Yelp
Great location beautiful decor. Drinks are good and the food is great. I'll definitely be back. The staff is so very friendly and helpful.
google avatar

Jenn S.

Yelp
Sigh, just not worth the price. The food wasn't that bad, just couldn't justify spending that much again on a hotdog. Portions are really small. I ordered the Big "D", tater tots, and the Love Boat. Just meh.
google avatar

Emma B.

Yelp
I've been wanting to check this place out since I saw they were opening one in the highlands. We tried to go on opening day but the line was crazy with the offer of free hotdogs! Anyway so we finally got here for Happy Hour on a Monday and the place was dead. We ordered the Old Town dog and the new bubba's chicken sandwich. The bread on both of them are really good and enjoyable. But I wasn't impressed with either of them, the hotdog needed more toppings on it, you didn't get the flavour from them, the quality of dog and bun is good though. The chicken sandwich was good but very messy and the chicken wasn't evenly distributed throughout the sandwich and literally half of it had no chicken it in when you went to bite into it. Beer was on Happy Hour, they have a pretty extensive list. I would have liked to try a cocktail but I couldn't find any descriptions of what was in the cocktails. Don't know if I'll be rushing back anytime soon for an $11 sandwich with no sides or anything.

Yelp

Yelp
This place is pretty good, easy going and chill. Stop by if you have a chance! They offer not just hot dogs & brats, but burgers as well... and a chicken option. At least that's more than just one option. Truly though, if you're gonna go to a place like this go for what they are known for. First off, they offer a build your own. I feel that's always good so you get exactly what you want. We got a Cowboy, the Scott Baoli, & the Impossible Burger with onion rings, tots, & queso. My sister is a vegetarian, and I can't remember what my brother got. Overall we enjoyed our meals. Great presentation and not too much sauce where it over powered the taste, and it wasn't super messy. Also, with the hotdogs not being over sauced they managed to maintained the crisp of the toasted bread, never went soggy! We did wish the hotdogs stayed warm a bit longer. One of the staff members gave us some a sample size of cocktails to try, they were pretty good! One was whiskey and berries, while another was whipped cream vodka and something citrus. We all ended up ordering a round of drinks! Great job bartender! The staff is really nice, from the girl taking our order to the staff bringing out the food and the guys checking in with us, all around great! I sometimes find new establishments lack staff training but not here. Clean place, fast service, good food, great staff. We do wish there was more than just one bathroom stall for the women. I'm assuming it was the same for the men. I don't mind waiting and had just one girl in front of me. It wasn't too busy but I could see this becoming an issue when its jam packed. But overall, good experience! We'll be coming back!
google avatar

David S.

Yelp
I just had to try these hot dogs once this place opened up in the area. Since opening nearby they have had nothing but great reviews and by looking at these dogs, I just had to try them once I got back from Minneapolis. So I picked two up and some tots to-go and man, let me tell you they were delicious!! I had the Chili Idol and the Too Chi. Of course I couldn't finish both in one sitting, so split them both in half to give them both a try. I'll save the other halves for later. By the way, the bun was soft and nicely toasted. When I was waiting there for my food, I did see a burger go by that looked just as good as these hot dogs. I definitely need to try the burger next!!
google avatar

Jacob L.

Yelp
Burgers are amazing, hot dogs are amazing. Tater tots are tater tots. Coldest beer you'll find on this side of town. I've gone out of my way to stop here. You can not go wrong with anything on the menu. It's all amazing. Been 3 times in the last month and had great service at the bar and counter.
google avatar

Steve S.

Yelp
Not sure how this place is still open. Place was empty ordered food took 30ish mins and it was cold and made wrong... I spent $27 on two breakfast burritos We couldn't eat. Due to it taking over half an hour I was late to my apt so I couldn't go back and demand a refund. This place "badass breakfast burritos" it's dog haus.. Place is nasty stay away and go to torchys save the headache..
google avatar

Jorena L.

Yelp
Was super excited for gourmet hot dogs to come to Arlington! The interior is nice and sleek.. seems like a great place to hang out. Prices are a little high for hot dogs imo. I had the Old Town. The grilled Hawaiian buns are fantastic, but the flavor profile left something to be desired. I don't think one hot dog is quite filling enough.. maybe with sides. I don't foresee myself coming here often, but maybe if I'm craving a hot dog.

Justin S.

Yelp
Amazing! Had the hangover burger with chili cheese tots, perfection! Employees were extremely friendly and answered all menu questions my wife and myself had. Love the music and chill environment. Great beer section.
google avatar

Tricia B.

Yelp
Had lunch with the kids and there was a bundle of staples in my hotdog. I let them know and all they did was make another hotdog. The manager never came to speak to me, nor did they offer anything to make up for the hotdog with staples. Terrible customer service Also, how do staples end up in food? What are they doing in the kitchen?
google avatar

Jessica C.

Yelp
I ordered both of the plant based bratwurst & they were really good! Priced at $8.99 each they were indeed filling & the price is expected currently for plant based food. My only complaint were the flies & the patio window wasn't currently open which would expectedly justify that. I will however still be patronizing Dog Haus when I'm in the area. I look forward to trying more of their plant based items.

Yelp
The Fonz Italian sausage was very tasty. My wife ordered the chicken tenders, plain. We even told the waitress BBQ sometimes is to spicy to put it on the side. When the order came out it was very spicy. I spoke to the manager and he said "Yes, we use a spicy batter." I said the menu doesn't say that. He just walked away. Totally disappointed in the way he handled, or better yet, didn't handle the situation. The bartender and waitress were extremely attentive and apologetic. The manager, Geoff, not so much! When you pay $44 for two dogs/sausages, 2 shakes, and two drinks is it to much to expect good customer service from the manager. I would hope the GM or owner reaches out to me for followup.

Yelp
COVID Dogs On a random weekend, my family and I drove out to Dog Haus for a good hot dog. The establishment is cute, with nice wood tables laid out before their decent bar area. There was no one at the front, so we immediately walked to the bar, where we were greeted by a lively bartender. Unfortunately, she couldn't take our order, and she sent us back to the front and went to fetch the cashier. The first thing I noticed about the cashier was that he had his mask on his chin. I was annoyed but figured this won't be the guy bringing out our food (probably) so we continued to order. He seemed to have some trouble keeping up and kept asking us to repeat our order, again, the whole time with his mask on his chin. We finished ordering and sat down. To my annoyance, chin-mask dude went back into the kitchen to fetch our food and brought it out to our table. He forgot a few items that we ordered, one of which he forgot to charge us for. The only saving grace here was that the hot dogs were pretty tasty and the bread was nicely toasted (at least the cooks know what they are doing here). Our milkshake was brought out after my husband was done eating and chin-mask dude went over to the soda fountain to prepare our rona-float...I mean rootbeer float still protecting that chin with his mask, but not anyone else. I'm assuming he went back to scoop ice cream into our cup without gloves as well. Yum! There are better places I can go to get an expensive hotdog where the employees actually take the LEGAL safety precautions, so I won't be back here.
