Texans Star JJ Watt Wants Texans to Band Together and Buy Back Whataburger - Eater Houston

"As Eater reported last December, California-based hot dog chain Dog Haus has its sights set on Houston, and it’s finally selected its first local address. An update to the chain’s website indicates that the restaurant will open at 1096 Enclave Parkway, at the southwest corner of Enclave and Eldridge Pkwy. No word on when it will open just yet." - Amy McCarthy

Great ambiance and unique flavors! They use something like Kings Hawaiian bread for both the burgers and hot dogs and they are amazing! Great to have a local joint with the quality and flavor of a place you’d expect inside the loop.

Went great on a Sunday for lunch. When we got there, no one was there so we were kind of a little hesitant, but decided to go in anyway. I think the location isn't that great because it's a little hidden from Eldridge. Food: Food was great. Wife got the chili dog and I got the "cowboy". She has no complaints and I thought mine was pretty good. They really fill up the toppings, so you kind of have to knife and fork it. Kids got corn dogs and one got sliders. They all looked them. The corn dogs batter was home made. Buns are Hawaiian bread sliders, and we liked that. Atmosphere: restaurant was clean, there were numerous TV's and seating was ample. When we pulled up, wasn't sure about bringing kids in, because when pulling up all you can see is the bar, but they do have kids meals so I think they expect some kids (couple others came in after us). Pricing: it's a little steep. Most hot dogs are $8, not including fries or drink or anything. They're sizeable, but it adds up. Seems everything is pretty expensive, so it's not crazy compared to everyone else out there, but don't go expecting it to be cheap.

Google
Great customer service. The food was good and fresh. The only downside I would say is when I 1st walked in it smelled like dirty mop water or something. The portion sizes are matched well with the price. I would return, just maybe to one that smells better.

Google
Absolutely loved it here!! The food is delicious, and I love the sports bar theme to it. Good atmosphere. I wanted to try more items on their menu, only if this place was closer to where either me or my girl lived. I'd definitely would love to come back, I just don't know when since it's so far away from us. That would probably be the only downfall taking away from this place, other than that. I highly recommend this place. 🙌

Google
Options for everyone. I mean everyone. Let’s start with the parking - ample and clean Inside, the restaurant flows well, there’s a really nice bar setup with stools that feature the convenience of outlet & usb plugs…the tables are spaced nicely. The bar is well stocked and features drinks to go with hotdogs, hamburgers, vegetarian options and more. There’s also an outdoor patio dining area which we did not check out because it’s a little cold in Houston right now. We took a behind the scenes tour of the kitchen for Houston’s Great Eats and WOW impressively clean! So…about the food - upscale casual lunch and dining. They really offer something for everyone. Halal, vegan, vegetarian, carnivore - they have you covered. My favorite was the chachi - a burrito filled with a perfectly cooked and gooey egg, hash browns, melted cheese, juicy sausage, and a great variety of condiments. My second fav was the bacon wrapped hotdog covered in all kinds of good stuff. The staff is awesome, management is awesome and I highly recommend that you go experience for yourself Dog Haus Biergarten.

Google
I had the cowboy hot dog, and my son had the hot chick (chicken). The hotdog is on a hawaiian roll bun. Both of those were very good. The fries were nothing special. Beer selection is modest, around a dozen taps, half of it IPA. Only one server but our food came out quickly. Outdoor seating is dog friendly.

Yelp
Why 5 stars? Because these are high quality dogs. --- --- --- I love a good gourmet hot dog and these are most definitely gourmet hot dogs. I probably would have been happy with any of the menu options, but I opted for the cowboy and the old town. To be honest, these had similar ingredients and I'm not even sure which was which as I was eating them. But the important thing is that I liked them both equally, so it doesn't ultimately matter. I recommend both! It was also really unique that their burgers and their hot dogs are served on Hawaiian rolls stacked together, rather than typical buns. I like the uniqueness! I sampled my wife's burger, her tots, and my son's chicken tenders and fries - all of it was great. If we lived closer, we would absolutely make this a regular destination. I'm honestly pretty surprised that the rating was just under 4-stars when we visited, because I couldn't really find anything about it that I didn't like. Maybe the floor was oddly slippery? But that's really picking a nit.

Yelp
This review is based on a weekend lunch with my wife. Pros: The hot dog that we ordered was really good. Everything else, fries and wings, were mid. Cons: The person at the bar was not friendly at all. I think she was that way to all customers. our waitress was friendlier but never checked on our food when it was ready by the kitchen. The food was average at best besides the hotdog. The rating of 2 stars was more than generous

Yelp
I haven't been back in a while and was eagerly anticipating what I previously claimed as the best corn dog ever only to find they changed the batter/vendor! I'd be hard pressed to even call it a corn dog anymore as the "dog" is covered in a very thin fried skin. In fact, there was no corn or breading to be found - it was just a fried sausage. Don't get me wrong, it was still good but it wasn't what I was looking for and why I originally gave it 5 stars. Tater tots still on point. Perhaps I'll wait anything 6-8 months and see if the batter changes again.

Yelp
I swung by Dog Haus for a business lunch and had a great meal. There was a time maybe 10 or so years ago where the new cool thing around town was fancy hot dog restaurants, and I loved it. When I realized there was still an option for that close to work, I was sold! Dog Haus offers up about a dozen specialty hot dogs/sausage dogs ranging from the mild, like a chili dog, to the wild like their Soooo Cali dog which is made up of arugula, avocado, onions, tomato, and a spicy basil aioli. They also offer burgers, chicken sandwiches, and breakfast burritos for those of you dragged here by friends and not craving a hot dog. The interior is order at the counter, and then sit and eat at an assortment of high and low tables. There's a big selection of beers on tap, plus more bar options, and the whole place feels like a very clean sports Bar since there's tons of tv's on the wall. Great casual lunch bite spot. Service was quick, and everyone was happy with their orders. Will be back next time I have a fancy hot dog craving.

Yelp
Dog Haus is definitely is a nice local hangout spot particularly when weather is nice outside. I was pleasantly surprised at the nice facility and a whole wall of beer options. I'm definitely in for the brews. Walking in I was greeted (or not greeted) by a very straight faced, non welcoming staffer who probably had pronouns I didn't care to ask for. I ordered a Spaten that was entire liter of beer for $8! Despite it being a light beer, this was a very refreshing and a fantastic deal on booze. I also ordered the cowboy and the fonz hotdogs, both of which were pushing $8's each. NGL while these dogs were delicious and scrumptious, but the pricing is pushing the upper limits. The bread and dog itself was very good but didn't warrant a $8 price tag. Despite it being more on the expensive end, Dog Haus has solidified itself as a local hangout spot with a strong brew selection and a variety of delicious dogs to enjoy. Just remember to save up before you come.

Yelp
Great spot for late night German-American bar food with a wide variety of tap beer. I was seriously craving German sauerkraut and this visit hits right in the spot! Though their cleanliness can definitely be improved, ie. the floor was sticky and their seating area could use a clean up. There were scattered food and dried spilled sauce on most the the furniture. - Das brat (5/5): German hot dog with sauerkraut and hot mustard. Definitely a slam dunk. Super flavorful sauerkraut with strong ginger notes, which pairs well with the sweet bun. - Downtown (3.5/5): the typical hot dog with ketchup, mustard, and mayo. They definitely use high quality sausages but overall this was nothing to write home about. - Chilli cheese tots (5/5): super crunchy tots with a generous servings of chillies and cheese sauce on top. Honestly this would go well with all their hot dogs/burgers offerings. I would totally come back for their German hot dogs, but most likely in to-go orders if their cleanliness doesn't improve.

Yelp
The service was absolutely terrible. We visited shortly after they opened for lunch and it was apparent that none of the staff wanted to be there. The food was decent but the service ruined the desire to ever want to go back. We were never greeted or thanked. It honestly felt like we were a bother to the staff. The silverware was slammed down, when the food was delivered we said thanks and the guy acted as if we didnt even exist. Its like having a poor attitude is a requirement to work here. Will not be returning or recommending this establishment

Yelp
So the whole reason I went in was to try the beyond and impossible options, they didn't have any of that available. So I settled on the grilled chicken sandwich and it was okay, onion rings were cooked perfect but no seasoning. My husband liked his tots and little mule burger.

Yelp
The sign Biergarten caught my eye and the hot dogs that came with it were the cherry on top. We stopped by here for a quick dinner on a night that was somewhat bearable to be outside. The Dog Haus is a bit tucked away off Eldridge but is a great place for a quick dinner. Obviously known for their hot dogs, we had to try a couple. They have both all beef hot dogs as well as sausages as options. You can also get burgers if you're not in the mood for a hotdog. This place is a bit unique since their bun is actually Hawaiian king bread which adds a bit of sweetness to the hotdog. They load it up with toppings and full of flavor. We tried the fonz and the cowboy, both of which were delicious. I preferred the cowboy because of the sweetness of the barbecue sauce. The service was super quick. You order at the counter and they bring out your food but you also have the option of sitting at the bar for full service.

Yelp
My husband had the haus breakfast burrito. He really enjoyed it with the hot tots. I'm not a big fan of breakfast. I usually do just a breakfast biscuit or scrambled eggs. I did try the burrito and I was surprised how much I enjoyed the caramelized onions and the runny egg. The hot tots are also spicy and delicious.

Yelp
Corn dog was underwhelming Hot dogs are good Cheese fries were my favorite! Service was okay

Yelp
One of my local favorites! The sooo veggie and beyond burger are always my favorites. I wish Dog Haus would come a little more southeast! The sports bar vibes and flavorful food options are a great way to unwind for the week and watch the local game. The beer choices are plentiful!

Yelp
Not bad - service is super slow and the food is overpriced but it is clean and friendly! I enjoyed my hot dog. Not worth a drive but if it's in your area stop by. Honestly though Sonic has much better food at a third of the price! This place has a full bar though ‍

Yelp
They boast thier hot dogs but they also have burgers, chicken sandwiches, corn dogs and meatless versions of the hot dog, burgers, chicken nuggets and chicken sandwiches. Also meatless corn dogs. I always get the chili cheese dogs with a toasted Hawaiian bread bun, hot dig, chili, caramelized onions, and cheese sauce. I kind of wish the cheese was shredded cheddar but the hot dog is delicious! Thier slaw is so delicious. I think it has onions in it and it tastes delicious on the chili dog. It adds a delicious crunch and a little sweetness. Very good. Thier onion rings in the root beer batter are really good and a tad sweet in a good way. The onions are cooked perfectly. They have French fries and tater tots which are both good and cone out hot and fresh. The onion rings are good with the Chipotle aioli. I want to try the blue cheese ranch. I asked for some but unfortunately it didn't make it to the bag buy I know it will be good on the onion rings. Delicious offerings.

Yelp
My new company had a happy hour at this location. It was smaller than it looked in images here and we had one long line of hi-top tables set up just as you entered the door. There was plenty of bar seating, as well as outdoor seating. Although it's a biergarten, I only had water and food. Sliders were ordered for the tables, but I went off-script. I am not big on hot dogs, because I don't really do pork or meat by-products, but I learned that the dogs here are 100% black angus beef. I tried the Cowboy and it was pretty dang good! I'd certainly eat it, again...after I've tried their chicken sandwiches and chili cheese tots. It's a bar with far better than average bar food. I don't typically do bars, but I'd return with some pals for this fare.

Yelp
Let me tell you something... this place has some seriously delicious dawgs. I'm almost ashamed to tell you how good my experience was here, but in all transparency, if my therapist asks me "what have you done to take care of yourself lately?" I'm going to tell them "Funny you should ask, I took myself on a date to the Dog Haus!" Y'all, there is a special place in my heart for quality dogs.. and this place delivers. I had a heck of a hankering for a quality bratwurst on the 4th of July, and instead of letting Uber eats feed my lazy monster, I got dressed and decided to check the place out in person. And boy oh boy, I'm so glad that I did. First of all, the restaurant was awesome, plenty of bar seats to make yourself comfy, and a ton of local and craft beers on tap. I had the most amazing strawberry kiwi cider from saint arnolds. Also, the bar manager on duty was so welcoming and knowledgeable of the brews and the menu. This man knew his stuff and has cultivated a regular in me! Y'all, so I told you I came here because the Milwaukee girl in me was craving a quality bratwurst on y'all's Independence Day . I had their brat and tater tots and was so incredibly fulfilled and satisfied. I was full, but I had made the commitment to drive out to the energy corridor, and the bar manager did such a great job curating the menu, that I had to try more... So I got a corn dog, onion rings, and the reservoir signature dog to go... yall. Yall. YALL!!! Everything was sooooo Good. I'm bringing my mama up here next week. It's THAT GOOD. She's coming from out of state, and I'm bringing her HERE! I'm so excited. Did I mention all their hot dogs, sausages, and burgers (I haven't even tried the burgers yet!) are served on custom Hawaiian buns?!? Brehhhh... these are solid dogs for sure. I most CERTAINLY recommend.

Yelp
I was craving something to eat that wasn't too heavy but would fill me up and came across this suggestion from a google search. Located in a shopping strip there's pretty decent parking. I pre-ordered and paid for my food online and went into the restaurant to pick it up. It was about 11PM and not very many people inside but it was also raining pretty bad so maybe it was a slow night. The establishment is a nice size and they have a bar inside of you wanted drinks. I went to the pickup counter and there was a little confusion with finding my order but the lady eventually found it. I made a custom order with the beef hotdog and added a fried egg, relish, onions, jalapeños and basil aioli sauce. I like the concept of the meal being served on Hawaiian bread because it is adds a level of sweetness to each bite. I can taste the difference between their hotdog and the artificial tasting hot dogs in the store. It taste much healthier if you will. The various toppings also add a funky twist to it so in general it's a pretty cool concept for hot dogs. I'd probably try one of the sausages next time to kick it up a notch.

Yelp
Never in my life did I think I would end up at a Hot Dog restaurant? Glizzys are never a top food option and quite frankly the last time I had a hot dog was over a year ago at a BBQ. Was kind of skeptical about the whole place especially since it was somewhere a friend invited me to buy hey. I was surprised by how delicious these hot dogs were. Ordered the Cali dog and was in heaven. The sauce, toppings and hawaiian bun all melt perfectly together and the fries were giving fresh off the potato peeler vibes. Service was smooth and quick! I think this is a great option for those who want chill, sunday football game day vibes. 10/10 would recommend.

Yelp
Came here on a weekday & the service was excellent! The cashier & food runner was super friendly/knowledgeable & provided great hospitality and great recommendations. Ordered the Old Town w/ Beef Chorizo & Pepperjack Sausage and the Sweet Potato Fries & Onion Rings. Sausage was tasty, juicy and flavorful sandwiched with Hawaiian Bread. Sweet potato fries & Onion Rings were crunchy, HUGE and delicious! It is open seating and you will order at the cashier and they will give you a order number to bring the food out to you. They also have a outdoor seating area as well and an assortment of beers to choose from. Happy Hour during the weekdays from 3-6pm and Sunday as well. Would come back again to try the burgers and chicken sandwiches! Parking - within the plaza

Yelp
Dog Haus, where hot dogs become haute cuisine! I embarked on a culinary adventure and tried the "SOOO CALI" -- a hot dog so posh, it practically had its own red carpet. Wild arugula, avocado, tomato, crispy fried onions -- it's like my taste buds attended a garden party. Then, the "OLD TOWN" arrived, wrapped in smoked bacon like it just got a cozy winter scarf. Caramelized onions, chipotle aioli, pickled jalapenos, and cotija cheese joined the flavor party, and suddenly, my hot dog had more layers than a mystery novel. Of course, I washed it all down with a good beer.

Yelp
Friendly staff!!! So many plant based options! I was really craving an impossible burger and the one i had was AAAAmazinggggg!! Must go!

Yelp
I'm stuck on this place I literally crave these chili dogs !!! I really want to try the burgers I wish they weren't so overpriced I pay like $13 bucks for one on DoorDash ! The bread is amazing

Yelp
I really wanted to like this place since it was down the road from us, but our experience was underwhelming and left me longing for way better food. Pros: good beer list! Loved that they had a sour on tap too! I'd prob come back to sip beer and the patio during a hot day with my pups after a stroll in the park. The wings were pretty tasty too and I'd have them again. Cons: The burgers and dogs were served lukewarm to us. Neither of our orders had the bacon on it it was supposed to have. And I wasn't impressed with the buns or flavor in general. I would not order either of them again. This place will just have to be a beer, wings, and tots place for me. So I might be back if I happen to be over there by the park but won't go out of my way to make it back if I'm wanting a burger.

Yelp
Located right off Eldridge we came across this spot because my kids were craving hamburgers. I arrived on a weekday evening not too many people there eating, just people at the bar having drinks. By the way they have a plethora of cocktails and beers to choose from! Unfortunately I didn't get to try any drinks because I was there with my kids. Took a minute for a worker to come over and take our order. But we decided on The Ringer, which I assumed was just a burger however what we received was more like sliders (see pictures). Four Hawaiian buns with a chunk of meat slapped in between. No flavor whatsoever. I tasted everything separately, the meat (bland) the bbq sauce (no flavor) the onion rings (they were soggy I'm guessing from the sauce). My kids didn't even like it. For a $12 I was expecting a little more. I ordered OLD TOWN and it was actually pretty good. The description says "smoked bacon wrapped dog" which my dog was not wrapped in bacon. The bun I didn't care for made it hard to eat and too much aioli sauce. I did like the pickled jalapeños and the cotija cheese. The dog itself was pretty tasty as well. We also ordered a side of sweet potato fries and onion rings. Both were good, however I've had better sweet potato fries. I like my fries crispy. These seemed a little soggy (maybe cooked in too much oil) Overall I was a bit disappointed because the reviews were so stellar, but I could've just ordered the wrong items. I would go back to try something else and definitely try one of their cocktails! Unfortunately my first impression was pretty underwhelming.

Yelp
Dog Haus on Enclave is great!! The staff is extremely pleasureable and the food is AMAZING. This is my place to come for comfort food and a drink to enjoy. They never miss ‼

Yelp
Took my father here the other day since he was from out of town to try something new. Food was good and the place LOOKED clean but it actually wasn't. The tables were sticky, even though they looked clean. My hands were sticky on the table tops. Also, I love getting a nice plate of food only to have this next to me while I eat. Keep in mind this was at EVERY window seat. Awfully disgusting. DEAD FLIES, INSECTS and one spider I saw. DUST EVERYWHERE, windows were not clean either... I probably won't be back.... I can't justify eating somewhere when they don't care about ultimately what their guest experience while dining in.

Yelp
Lovely spot in the energy corridor for a bite and drinks! Came here during lunch at the recommendations of coworkers and I was pleasantly delighted by a very satisfying meal. Menu has an assortment of hot dogs and burgers. I got a burger which I was then able to cut into 4 sliders. The meat was a nice smashburger style and the bun was a Kings Hawaiian bread. I'm a sucker for tater tots, and they had a solid tot side topped with slaw and chili that surprisingly worked pretty well. Will likely return for more lunches!

Yelp
The photos of the burgers are what lured me to Dog Haus. In the end, I was disappointed. I ordered the "Little Mule" burger and a side of onion rings. "Little Mule" burger: dressed with white American cheese, avocado, pickled jalapeños, cotija cheese, a fried egg, and chipotle aioli. It sounds amazing, right? It was good, but tasted like something someone randomly made. It didn't pop--even with all of the combinations. The meat patty was at fault. The presentation was nice. The burger bun was four slider bottoms for the bottom bun and four slider tops for the top bun. Appealing and different. The meat itself was an overcooked, crumbly, thin patty. The combinations inside were good, but they needed to pick one cheese or the other, not both. They conflicted with one another. After eating half, the burger kept falling apart due to the 4-slider bun. The way it was presented to me was the pretty side. When I turned the tray around, the other side showed the overcooked, crumbly, thin patty. Onion Rings: were the gnaw-through type, not the bite-through type. It is fine if you are nearby, want to check it off your list, or have late night hunger.

Yelp
I ordered breakfast for delivery from Door Dash. They are listed as Big-Ass Breakfast Burritos on their platform. I was VERY impressed! The Haus Burrito was fresh and delicious. The eggs were fluffy, the bacon was crisp and the cheese was melted perfectly. The outside of the tortilla was slightly grilled like a Taco Bell burrito (love that!). The Hot Tots were terrific. They are coated with a spicy dust that is very tasty. It comes with a spicy mayo dipping sauce. The portions huge and easily can feed 2 people or save for leftovers the next day. I was very happy with my order. Now, I just have to figure out how to nap this off at work! Lol I would like to see this establishment in person. I don't know why their actual place of business is called one thing and they advertise on Door Dash as something else. Maybe it's an eye catcher situation, no clue, but whatever the case, it was good. At a 4.5 rating, they must be doing something right. Well done, DH!

Yelp
Nice sized business. The cashier was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about all the food. You do take a number and select where you want to sit. While sitting I could tell this business has a lot of regulars that come in. My food came out within 5 minutes of me placing my ordering and sitting at the bar. I got a sweet tea for the drink which was the perfect amount of sweetness. The only reason why this restaurant did not get 5 stars is because of the fruit flies that love the bar area. I understand they are attracted to the beer but a turn off when wanting to dive face first into the chili and cheese and tots. Overall really great restaurant, great staff and great food.

Yelp
---Dearest Reader, I write with feverish intensity. Upon sun rise a flurry of eagerness and passion lead me to the Haus of Dogs hidden secret; BAD-ASS BURRITOS. Horses may kick, but the BRONCO bucks! Bacon, egg, white American cheese, avocado, 3 perfectly cooked eggs, jalapeños, crispy tater tots, special sauce all wrapped up in a grilled tortilla. Alas, how can one ask for more than that. This is low-key the best breakfast burrito that I've ever had. I was apprehensive to order at first. I thought the tots would be soggy along with the bacon BUT oh heavens was I wrong; perfectly crispy which aided to an amazing bite. Save travels until next time, ---Mitchell

Yelp
Bad service not coming back. Food is great. Feels like they are closing down. The fonz is amazing. Cooked to perfection. The Das brat with the sauerkraut and spicy mustard is a yummy treat. First and last time here

Yelp
Ordered via delivery. This place did not disappoint. The Hawaiian bread was delicious, perfect combination with the chili dog and the cowboy. Sausage was good, they did not cheap out on that like some places do. This is a quality hot dog and we will be returning.

Yelp
The staff is amazing. Special thanks to Ray... always beyond! This place doesn't pretend... good sausages, burgers and beer. Their seasonal wursts are always interesting. Very good rotating beer selection. One of few '5' spots.

Yelp
Whew boy idk what was wrong here, I ordered a hot chick sandwich and chilli cheese fries. Everything looked fine and tasted fine however, I almost immediately threw it all up after I finished eating and I didn't even finish the sandwich. I feel like I'm going to have to throw up a bit more because my stomach is NOT liking it!

Yelp
What a lovely find on the west side of Houston! We came inside because of the cool breeze on the patio. We are glad we did since it gave us a chance to talk to the bar manager, Ray. The food was yummy as well. We had some traditionals since this was our first time here- chili idol, the corn dog, and the reservoir hog. Truly, the experience was enhanced by the positive attitude and friendly professionalism of Ray. We will return!

Yelp
This was my second attempt to eat at Dog Haus. My first attempt I ordered pickup through an app only to show up and be turned away with no other explanation than "we're not cooking today." Second attempt through an app and I show up to "we don't see your order....." and silence. No offer to help. No explanation. It felt very awkward. I wanted to run but I was also hungry and running out of time during the workday. So I reordered in person. 25 minutes for 4 hot dogs and three sides to come out. I was one of four customers in the store at the time. Seemed like a long wait. Food was 2/5 stars but not worth the hassle and not worth the wait for energy corridor workers who are trying to get in and out quickly. They seemed appropriately staffed for the number of patrons (very few). With all of the competition in the EC I suspect Dog Haus won't be around very long. Maybe it survives as a HH spot? Edit: whoever packed the food into the bag must have intentionally wanted all the toppings for the hotdogs to end up on the container itself, and not the hotdog. Don't order to go, I guess?

Scrolling on UberEats this morning, stumbled upon "Bad Ass Breakfast Burritos". I didn't feel like paying all the extra fees, so opted for pick up. The burrito itself was already a tad pricy. I placed an order for 3 with like a ~$5 tip, totaled $42.17.. I was a little confused after turning onto Enclave because I didn't see any signage for Bad Ass Breakfast Burritos. Opened the UberEats app and "tracked" the order. It stated that they were inside of Dog Haus. I'm not sure if they're operating as a "Ghost Kitchen" or what. Moving on though, the burrito was good. I would order again.

Yelp
I could eat here every night! I am picky about my onion rings, but these landed high on my list of the best! The cocktails are beautiful, very unexpected for sports bar vibes. Their employees are even very personable and happy to help guide you to your perfect meal.

Yelp
went on a friday around 8:30 PM and it was so good. the restaurant wasn't too crowded but still a bit busy. we sat outside on the patio and the fan kept us cool (although the weather wasn't too hot either). the service was fast and the employees are nice. chili cheese tots: 9.3/10 | SO GOOD u have to get if u go. they're perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. the chili isn't too salty or too bland and the cheese is like a thick queso kinda texture so it doesn't make the tots soggy (my personal pet peeve) das brat: 8.6/10 | the bread is pillowy soft but could have been toasted harder since u lose the bread in the experience. the sausage was great and the toppings (sauerkraut and caramelized onions) were standard. note the onions are diced so the texture is kinda all the same but the flavors are there. sliced sausage (polish kielbasa): 7.9/10 | the sausage was good and i don't have any major complaints lol but i think it would have tasted better w the bread and stuff. chipotle aioli was light in flavor (in a good way) and the texture was thick

Yelp
Ordered wings, they gave me fried chicken, no sauce. When confronted they said they didn't have wings sauce. Okay, then why wasn't I told that you couldn't fulfill my order? Horrible service, food always has an issue every time we order. Do not recommend.

Yelp
We saw the place and thought it looked fun. And, it was a good time to get some dogs and beers. I ordered the Fonz. It was very Italian. Italian sausage, pastrami, and mozzarella on four toasted Hawaiian King rolls. It was delicious. Please keep your sausage/hotdog jokes to yourself. Italian sausage link was ok. I've had better. Could have used more fennel. Pastrami was surprisingly good. Mozzarella is mozzarella. Kings Hawaiian rolls are a great source of of highly processed complex carbs. The Fonz is just a really good idea executed well. My friend gave me a bite of her Bad Mutha Clucka chickens sandwich. Oh goodness, that is some fantastic fried chicken. Moist, tender, well-seasoned. Beer was not cold enough. Beer list posted was way off compared to the actual inventory. Friendly staff. Crowd is a mix of really cool people and some real crappy people (not sure where they came from). Nice neighborhood (kind of).

Yelp
Awesome experience! The food was delightful - I had a Cali dog and really liked it. Good amount of food for the price. Fries were fresh and well seasoned. They have a variety of food options from hot dogs to chicken sandwiches to vegan dogs. Great beer selection and they have happy hour 2-6 on weekdays with $2 off drafts! Great draft selection. Also some drafts were on special for $3 all day. The service was impeccable. Joy was our server and she was was awesome and so friendly! She made sure our food and drinks arrived quickly. Per other reviews, their patio is also dog friendly - they have a cute patio they would be great on nice Houston days!

Yelp
Saw this place pop up on Uber Eats and decided to try it out. All the hot dogs and burgers we tried were so delicious and flavorful! The hash browns were crispy and good. The only thing I'm not the hugest fan of is the packaging because it's not the most convenient, but nonetheless definitely try this place out!
