Very impressive food here. Killer beer selection. The Pineapple Express was amazing. Great quality dog, cooked just about perfect, juicy center with a nice grilled exterior. The crunchy onion straws on top added a nice texture. It was an awesome fusion of savory, sweet, and spicy. Soft rolls mixed with the grilled dog, wet ginger sauce and crunchy onion straws, it was an amazing experience. The cheese fries were delicious. Comforting style. Seasoned and crispy, topped with a yellow cheese sauce. Yes a sauce, not melted shredded cheese. They were delicious. I cant wait to try more food here. Enjoy

The food wasn't great, the drinks weren't even good, and the prices were a little high. Only reason they got 2 starts is because the server was very friendly. We won't be returning. Save your money and go to Costco and get a dog for a buck fifty... lol.

Google
This is one of the most underrated food spots in the city. It’s cheap and serves very good hot dogs/sausage/brats. As if that isn’t enough the burgers are really delicious. What makes this place stand out is that they serve everything on those Hawaiian Rolls we all eat for the holidays. As far as drinks go I believe they had 20 or so beers on tap!

The old town dog was great. But that was it. There isn’t enough variation between the dogs at this location. The chicken slider sucks. They have signs posted the bathrooms are closed but they aren’t. The service was okay because one guy was cool but then his shift ended and besides him we were ignored. It was empty and the counters and tables weren’t wiped down, when other people came in, the staff seemed annoyed that more people had come and they had to get up off the stools again. Hadn’t been here in years and was looking forward to it. It will be a few years before I go back to try again. I’ll stick to Dog Haus’s other locations.

I see this place pop up on Postmates all the time but never visited until today. I popped in for a quick bite to grab for pick up but ended up dining in. There’s a ton of space with lots of seating indoor and outdoor. There’s a large selection of beers on tap and a variety of different dogs and burgers with a few sides. The cowboy dog and chili were great! Also plenty of TVs for sports also.

- Went in Sun, 15 Aug 20 and ordered to go -- w/ hip-hop music blaring on huge stereos with "N" words, "B" words, and "MF" being dropped like there was no tomorrow. From a business standpoint, that is not appropriate, professional, or the time/place for it. Disappointing that the workers didn't even have an ounce of intelligence or respect to realize that. - Menu was diverse and unique (gourmet hotdogs, in particular). Food was good. Presentation was great. Not cheap (about $8 per dog) but understandable. - Preparation/planning lacked. I asked for a plastic fork for my to-go order (I had to eat on the road) and was told there were no utensils at all (I needed a fork for my chili-cheese fries -- not cool). - A 38-minute wait for 4 hotdogs and fries seemed excessive, but it's COVID, I guess. * Chili-cheese dog and fries were my favorite. I don't think I'll be back though, considering all of the above.

Google
Pretty good burgers and hot dogs, but I was underwhelmed by the sausages. I liked how everything was served on soft Hawaiian rolls. Tater tots and fries were super crispy and cooked perfectly. Staff were very friendly and there was plenty of seating available.

Google

Yelp
Yikes... this place is simply awful. Decided to check out their happy hour as its pretty close to where I live and they have a wide array of beers and vegetarian food. Sitting down at the bar it became apparent that they have a very bad fruit fly infestation. Moving to a table did not help...It's a bug party all over the entire place! The staff were clueless about their happy hour offerings. They had no menu so you either had to read online or have the bartender rattle off the deals. Beer is beer and I love beer. Sad that they use throwaway plastic cups even while dining in. We ordered the tater tots and they were sad. Hardly cooked and so few! Their corn dog looked like it was cooked by someone who had never seen one in their entire life. The batter was super thin and it was way burnt. They obviously do most of their business via delivery and take out. The entire place is huge and empty. It's dark and it's comfortable unless you like to eat fruit flies. Skip!

Yelp
i accidentally doubled my our tip. No owners on site to reimburse my account Andre (1 of 3) owners was suppose to correct it on February 5 and said it should take several days called again no owner working on February 21 left message with male server as of the 24th no response from this company

Yelp
Open much? This place must be closed, never seen the doors open except one time trying to get in prime time dining hours. Would have loved to try you guys. Update your open hours please.

Yelp
CHILI CHEESE TOTS. That's all you need to know when you're up at the counter getting ready to order. The hubby and I ate at the Dog Haus in Denver at least once a month when we lived there. We were glad to see the SD location. He ordered the usual which is a Downtown Dog that was bacon wrapped and fried, loaded with caramelized onions, pickled pepper, Mayo, mustard and ketchup. Served up with a side of chili cheese fries and he had his perfect meal. I normally do a burger slider and a corn dog slider. This time around though, I got two burger sliders with white cheese and onions. Then the best thing on earth which I always order is chili cheese tots. It just doesn't get any better then that. Crunchy fried tots, sprinkled with salt then topped with a meaty delicious chili, cheese and green onions.

Yelp
The return of Dog Haus Biergarten did not disappoint! The industrial ambiance was a nice vibe. Portions are pretty big and the prices do reflect that. Food was delicious, I chose the build your own impossible burger which can be made vegan with a brioche bun; for vegans, there is also an impossible sausage dog, and both impossible and beyond nuggets. Just remember to omit cheese/mayo where needed. The fries were fresh and crispy. I'd definitely come back! Partner reports: the Nashville chicken sandwich was spicy and delicious. The hot fries and sweet potato fries were also a favorite.

Yelp
I've been a fan of Dog Haus for a couple years now. Their bar is very convenient with a lot of local drafts on tap. Their sausage dogs are my favorite with a lot of fun and tasty combinations. Their prices are pretty fair as well. I like the location because it's on the outskirts of downtown so parking isn't too terrible. I will say recently service has been hit or miss. Our last visit our order was messed up and the bar was out of stock of a lot of options. First time out of a lot of good visits. Hopefully it was just a bad night.

Yelp
This place is super vegan friendly !! I've ordered take out here multiple times and got the spicy vegan nuggets, the veggie hot dog, and the vegan burger! All super good!! I liked the nuggets the best.

Yelp
First, lest acknowledge that two corn dogs, two hotdogs, chili cheese tots, fries, and two fountain drinks cost $65. I think the state of this supposed Corn Dog speaks the most of what is wrong. BUT the tater tots did not have tots, just chili and cheese. The hotdogs were burnt beyond what you would laugh at your dad for at the bbq ) and then throw them away). No fountain drinks. And, please, look at the cord dog again and decide if that it worth over $12. If you don't want to be a good restaurant that can take a simple order and include all the ingredients in the NAME OF THE FOOD, close your doors and become a hospital cafeteria.

Yelp
So much more than just a hot dog here at Dog Haus. With locations in California, they offer a great variety of hot dogs, corn dogs, hamburgers and more. The toppings here are vast. You would never think a hot dog could be dressed so many ways, with so many toppings. I love that the ingredients are fresh. I focus on that with my reviews because it's so important. They offer a variety of different meats for the hot dogs. The hamburgers are just as good, and just as fresh. Be sure to explore the menu including a great beer selection. Hot dogs are great for delivery too! Friendly staff, far prices and great food. What more could you want?

Yelp
I hate raisins, HATE them. But if you were to wrap some raisins in bacon, I'd probably go to town on those bad boys. Bacon makes everything better. Know what I don't hate? Hot dogs. So when you wrap a dog in bacon, you best believe yours truly is all-in. Dog Haus makes some tasty bacon wrapped culinary canines and Im a fan. I ordered the Downtown, a side of cheese tots and a .394 to wash it all down. The Downtown is a bacon wrapped dog housed inside three grilled Hawaiian rolls (as far as I can tell everything here comes on grilled Hawaiian rolls, which is a big plus) with caramelized onions, peppers, mayo, mustard and ketchup (or "catsup" if you're fancy). 'Twas delicious and more filling than it looks. The cheese tots are...well, tots with cheese. Whats not to like? The place was pretty spacious and very clean, super friendly staff. They only had 3 people working but the food came out fresh and relatively quickly. I'd go back for sure.

Yelp
Ok let's see where I end up on stars.... Add 1 STAR: The Cholula Burger was quite tasty but looked NOTHING like what was advertised. Looks aren't everything so I'm giving a star for taste and size. MINUS 1 STAR: I walked in for lunch at 1pm on Friday to a fairly empty restaurant and 2 people ordering in line before me. Just to get your order taken (it's order at counter style) took FOREVER!!! One girl taking orders and expediting. MINUS 1 STAR: Took FOREVER to receive order. Let me re-state there were literally 2 parties seated and waiting for food. 2 others waiting for takeout. MINUS 1 STAR: Beer is over $8?!?! ADD 1 STAR: Staff was nice and restaurant is cool. Overall, I don't know if I'd be back for dine in. It just took way too long to place order and get food on a VERY slow day. Maybe once servers can take your order while seated I may come back to try other offerings.

Yelp
Another day. Another hot dog, bratwurst, or sausage. I find that tube like vessels are the best way to ingest meats. I also find that creative toppings, tasty bun choices, fiery sauces and beer all go well with the meat vessel experience. Dog Haus has a crap load of dog and brat choices. Usually paired well with beer (also lots of choices) and sports (shown on televisions). There is a ton of seating at this spot. A nice bar. You order the vessel of meat at the register. Get your sides and beers then they serve you hot meat and you shove it in your face. This is usually a wonderful experience and I recommend you try it out. Bonus points if you can fit two in your mouth at the same time. I sure as hell cannot.

Yelp
I'm sorry , the food looks so good but there is an off taste to their hot dogs. The corn dog was inedible due to how soggy it was from being too oily. The fries were limp/cold. I placed a big order and everyone agreed about the weird taste to the meat, the only things we finished were the tots and onion rings (which I'd give a 7.5/10).

Yelp
Delivery experience. I'm the guy that places the office DoorDash lunch orders and I was pleased to see that Dog Haus was now available for delivery. My order was the Thai fighter ( spicy thai currywurst, wild arugula, pickled jalapenos, spicy basil aioli) and the love boat tots ( chili + slaw ). I'm generally not a fan of Hawaiian rolls but the sweetness of the rolls meshed nicely with the spicy sausage and pickled jalapenos. My side of chili tots was also tasty. Even though I was only able to try the food and not the biergarten, I enjoyed it so much that I'm planning on taking my family to the Vista location. Note - The only negative to delivery is that Dog Haus upcharges regular menu prices for delivery services like DoorDash and GrubHub. As a consumer we already get hit with many fees from the delivery services, so having the restaurant add their own "hidden fee" hurts.. This is a controversial practice that not all businesses partake in. In any case, I can't wait for my next visit! Recommended.

Yelp
A friendly atmosphere to come in from a day of work/chills with your friends. It's not well lite from the outside. If you walk by after dark. You tended to wonder if they were opened or not. Must be their tinted windows, as seen the pic the interior is well lite!! This place got Tasty dogs! I have bookmarked this place for sometime, and glad to come in and try this nice tasty joint tonight. I was a bit sadden that they don't have cocktails drinks. I had fountain drink instead and while my friend order a bottled water along with her orders. I have to say The is cooked close to perfection For my order - Downtown (I forgot most details) but the taste won't be easily forgotten. Look at the size of it for one. Not your typical wienerwurst from the typical street stands outside any baseball park. First bite... from the sight you see it was charcoal; but as you bite into it, you found it's surprisingly juicy meat! And the topping of the order has caramelized onion (sweetness) add to the jalapeños peppers that was toss all around the frank. That combos just danced with the favors in your mouth in additions to the bites with the frankfurter. Yes! My tummy were a happy camper Although the sweet potatoes fries were a bit too soft... not as crispy as I wanted them.

Yelp
Went back yesterday. Ordered onion rings, tater tots, the ringer burger and a cheeseburger. Free tater tots with yelp check in offer. Food was warm and in nice packaging and reusable bag. Wait was short to order and to get food. The ringer, tots and onion rings were awesome. The ringer was incredible. 1 of the best burgers I have had. That bbq sauce, onion ring and Hawaiian roll combo is fantastic. Well worth it. Unfortunately the cheeseburger had some wrong ingredients including a spicy sauce. Called the vista location today as I live closer to them and the owner said stop in and they would take care of it. Ari and Scott gave excellent customer service and free replacement cheeseburger at no cost. Excellent food and service.

Yelp
I am awfully glad that Dog Haus contacted me and I went into the restaurant to give them another chance. It was so ridiculously worth it! I did a re-do on the Sooo Cali and Cocky Balboa. This time sauce free...thank God. The flavours of both dogs were unbelievably great. The Cocky Balboa was rich and reminded me of an East coast meal and the Sooo Cali was so California for sure; light and fresh and crunchy. In the past two weeks I've been in three times to stuff my face. I don't regret that decision or the three extra pounds one bit. Thank you, Scott and DH crew! Soo damn disappointed! I just used the uber Eats app and ordered the Sooo Cali and the Cocky Balboa and I cannot tell your how excited I was and starving I am. I hate almost all condiments. I will not eat any sandwich or hot dog or anything with gunk slathered all over it. The app shows how the hot dogs come and you're supposed to customise it. I requested no sauces and both hot dogs came all covered in stinky sauce. Now, I have food taunting me from the kitchen. I'm still hungry and nalso pissed as hell.

Yelp
So this place has a delivery only breakfast burrito kitchen (I believe) called Bad Ass Breakfast Burritos and I've ordered from twice already. Their burritos are generous and filling. I love the Haus burrito with eggs, american cheese, crispy tater tots (!!) spicy mayo and caramelized onions. I added avo for a refreshing element. They make really good breakfast burritos and if you're looking for a place in SD for that, this place surely nails it!

Yelp
OMG!!! Sooooo Delicious! Reminds me so much of JapaDog from Vancouver. But it taste nothing like it, they have they're own unique flavors. We'll definitely be back to try more of their other sausages. Service was great, they were all nice. I ordered the.... hmmmm... I forgot the name of my hot dog. But see my image it has jalapeños and it was so flavorful. We all enjoyed our hot dogs. Nothing left over.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I found ourselves downtown with no plans and incredibly hungry. After a quick Yelp search, we discovered that Dog Haus was walking distance from where we were. When we walked in I immediately knew it was a great choice just based on the ambiance and vibe. It's a super casual and chill place which picnic style tables throughout the restaurant and a large bar at the top of the stairs. There are also TV's everywhere, so no matter what sport you're wanting to watch, it is bound to be on somewhere. We opted to sit at the bar so my boyfriend could watch baseball on the big screen. The bartender/waitress was also kind enough to scroll through the channels to try to find the Phillies game for him. While I am generally a chicken fan, I decided I'd go with a burger as it had been a while since I had eaten one and I also felt like this place would have great burgers. I was right! While there are a variety of amazing sounding options, I went with the Holy Aioli, which is made with white American cheese, cartelized onions, garlic aioli, and smoked bacon. And if those ingredients don't sound yummy enough, it is also served on Hawaiian rolls which really just put the burger over the top with flavor. My boyfriend decided to get the Cowboy dog, which is a smoked bacon wrapped dog, cheddar cheese sauce, crispy onions, and bbq sauce. Also served with Hawaiian rolls in lieu of a regular hot dog bun. He was as big of a fan of this as I was and we want to try to make hot dogs and burgers at home with Hawaiian rolls now. Icing on the cake was the free side of tots with a Yelp Check In! You quite literally can't go wrong with a basket of fried potato nuggets!

Yelp
This place is horrible. My boyfriend brought me for my first time and I was so excited. We ordered two hotdogs and waited over an hour. We saw the food ready at the window for over 15 min and they served us cold food. When we asked for new hotdogs, they put in the order and took over 30 minutes. When we asked for our money back, they threw cash at us that did not cover out entire food. This place is horrible and extremely rude! Staff is horrible and the staff harassed us!
google avatar

Steve B.

Yelp
A little disappointing this time Henry. This was our third time coming in and it felt pretty mediocre. The patty's on both Holy Aioli burgers were pretty thin and there was too much sauce and not enough meat but overall okay. My daughters had the slider kids meal, again the patties were barely there but good. However my other daughter had the chicken tenders but they were spicy, not many kids are going to want spicy chicken tenders, so she didn't eat her food. I like the atmosphere and the manager was polite but I'm not sure if this will be enough to come Bach and give it another try. I want it to be a four star review but it missed the mark this time.

Yelp
BEEEESSSTTTT BURGERS! Not even kidding. Their burgers are perfect. They use grass fed beef, which I always prefer, topped with tons of flavors and toppings in between HAWAIIAN ROLLS!! Cooooome on! Who's idea was this?? Deliciousness. Their fries are the perfect kind of fry if that makes sense lol and their shakes are flavorful and tasty! Not too thick, not runny lol. I did a video of my food on IG, FB and Snapchat and I got all kinds of replies on people asking where this place was. I'm coming back, no questions asked! The also have a bar, hotdogs and chicken sandwiches. There's more than just burgers if that's what you're lookin for.

Yelp
My husband has been wanting to try this place since he saw it when he had jury duty. The staff are what makes this place great! Along with the spicy chicken sandwich and chili. My son LOVED the chili soooo much (and he's very picky). The corn dog was to die for! The root beer batter makes it sooo good! I ordered the brat, and it was definitely not a second order item. I wasn't happy with the flavor. The other things that were a turn off to this place was the bathrooms were pretty dirty and the place was really hot inside. If we go back, I will definitely sit outside and order the chicken sandwich! It worth a try!

Yelp
Found this completely by happy accident! It's not in what I considered the nicest, most popular area of downtown San Diego so it was a little tough to find. And it was pretty empty when we got there which I didn't take as a good sign. Thankfully I was wrong. We sat at the bar and were immediately greeted and given menus. They specialize in gourmet burgers and hot dogs. Despite not even truly liking hot dogs much, one sounded too good to pass up - jalapeño and pineapple. Super odd combo that just WORKED. They serve their burgers and dogs on Kings Hawaiian Rolls (genius) which really adds to the flavor. I loved mine. We also got the tater tots, which were decent but nothing spectacular. Very cool place, very reasonably priced.
google avatar

Yelp
The Bad Mutha Clucker was a tasty, albeit soggy burger. The bun fell apart, so I pretty much had to eat it by holding the cardboard container. The big problem was the wait. It took 45 minutes for our order to come out. And the restaurant wasn't even crowded. There was maybe 4-5 guests ahead of us. And each of us waited forever. To their credit, the waitress did apologize and comped us free tater tots. Despite enjoying the food, I'd be hesitant to come back due to the slow service.
google avatar

Rolo R.

Yelp
There is absolutely no excuse for a burger, a hot dog and an order of extremely salty fries to take more than 20 minutes when there is no other party except us at the restaurant! The take-out orders were far and in between to justify this horrible and slow service. Not worth traveling through sketchy neighborhood for this.
google avatar

Allie F.

Yelp
Not the best photo, my bad. I believe I got the Holy Aioli burger. I have to give it to them, it's a pretty unique idea to make the buns hawaiian rolls, which is without a doubt one of the best types of bread out there. It's quite a large serving, I couldn't even finish mine; lending to this, though, was the fact that the burger was falling apart. Although the bun was toasted, I don't find that this type of bread holds up with burgers and so many toppings. That's why I knocked down a star. It might have been a smart idea for me to cut it into fours but who thinks rationally when they're hungry?! I appreciate the large serving, and the burger is most definitely loaded with flavor and the sweetness of the bun adds to that. It's definitely a place I'd visit again, although I'll have to try out the dogs next.

Yelp
Lively Biergarten serving tasty haus dogs and burgers. Food (4/5 Stars): I was pleasantly surprised by their unique hot dog and burger menu options - all served on toasted King's Hawaiian rolls. I tried the Holy Aioli (their burger served with garlic aioli) and a Beef Corn Dog. The burger was amazing and the perfect snack post-bars, but the tiny corn dog was a bit disappointing. My friends ordered a few of their famous "Haus Dogs" and they looked great - I regret not ordering one to try. We also enjoyed the tater tots that came free with a Yelp Check-In. Drink (3/5 Stars): Decent selection of craft and imported beer. They have happy hour every day and offer specials on PBR cans, draft beer, and a few food items. Service (2/5): The service was disappointing during our visit. The workers were inattentive and a bit unprofessional. Service was also very slow and the restaurant was not busy at the time - we were one of the only parties seated. Atmosphere (3/5 Stars): Very lively atmosphere - great for meeting friends for a drink and some eats. Plenty of seating, especially for large parties. Not the cleanest establishment - we noticed a lot of flies circling around the food and tables.

Yelp
A girl at another restaurant reccomended this place for burgers because she told me they use kings Hawaiian bread which sounded appealing. I put in a order and it was done in 10 minutes. I like to try an array of things when i first try a restaurant so i got the cheeseburger slider, chilli dog and onion rings. High quality fast food! The chili on the dog was great. Really flavorful and seasoned well. The weiner was thick and good quality meat as well. They used kings Hawaiian as the buns. Melted cheese....best chili dog I've ever had in my life. The slider was good as well so i will try a burger next time. Great onion rings. Everything tasted high quality. Highly reccomend 10/10 No complaints

Yelp
SO SO GOOD. I'm a sucker for a goood dog. I know this is chain is popular in LA and other cities, but it seems pretty unheard of in the SD area. It's definitely worth a try if you're into sausages are hot dogs. I got the Sooo Cali and The Fonz -- one hot dog and one sausage. SoCali had lots of toppings (wild arugula, avocado, tomato, crispy fried onions, spicy basil aioli) and all of the flavors blended so seamlessly. The Fonz, though. Woah nelly. The Fonz comes with a spicy Italian sausage with pastrami and cheddar cheese sauce on top. I was blown away with the quality of the pastrami and its flavor blast. The flavor of the both the sausage and pastrami really took me to flavor town. Very delicious! Also, they have a great selection of local beers :)

Yelp
Hmm...3.5 stars. Good food but pricey for what it is and mediocre service. Everything on the menu looked TASTY, man. Coming in, there was only one person behind the bar to wait on everyone. She told us we could sit anywhere but had to order and pay at the bar, so we just sat at the bar. Check in on Yelp, and you get a free order of tots, which I ending up paying for because you have to pay when you order, which I didn't realize. :( I got Chili, the Kid, which was a really good hotdog. My husband had a burger and a brat, which he had dipped in their corndog batter. You can get any dog or sausage as a corndog, which is sweet! And they also have meatless dogs and sausages. Our tots were slightly too brown/crisp, but they were fine. We asked for some ranch for dipping, and the bartender was nice enough to not charge us additional for sauce, which I think is 50 cents, or something like that. I also got a beer, and my hubby got a soda, which was a serve-yourself fountain. They had a lot of great craft beers, but they were out of probably a third of them. Our foods and drinks were over $50 though, which seems expensive for a hotdog joint, but the food was good. Also, it's not a reflection on the restaurant, but worth noting, we walked just a couple blocks from our hotel near 7th and F past the Salvation Army to this spot. This is not a safe route. I have no ill will toward any person down on their luck, but we walked past tents of homeless people and some shooting drugs right out in the open. A couple shady characters wandered into the restaurant as well. Be cognizant of your surroundings and maybe take a different route if you're on foot.

Yelp
Does not pass the vibe check. Pre-quarantine it was good. Just went for takeout and it was not the vibe. Messed up our order. Undercooked meat. And food gets soggy fast so must eat right away. #nochill

Yelp
Came here during happy hour (M-F, 3-7) Fri 10pm - midnight and Sun 3-10. They have a great deal on sliders tots and fries for $1.25 each and $2 off draft beer and wine and $3 PBR cans. I got a corn dog, a bacon and cheese hot dog and a cheeseburger slider, they are small, but for $3.75 for all 3 its a great deal! The corn dog is made with root beer batter which adds a little more depth to it. I also got some chili cheese tots. I think that was my favorite of them all, the tots were crispy and the chili was flavorful and hearty. They have a nice bar area featuring a bunch of local San Diego beers as well as a few out of town beers too. I wondered why they didn't just feature more San Diego beers, but i guess it could be a chance for me to try something from out of state, i mean i could find San Diego beers almost anywhere. It wasn't too crowded and service was friendly and inviting. All of the burgers and dogs come served in a King's Hawaiian Roll. I might try a full size burger next time since they seem more elaborate and have more toppings.

Yelp
Wouldn't recommend at all. I got a bad mudda clucka with fries and everything was disgusting. The fries came out cold and looked really old. my chicken was burnt and dried out. This place was way better when I use to come a year ago. The food is way overpriced for the quality given. The workers aren't even that nice I didn't even wanna approve then to get it remade or to get a refund. I need and email to the owners because this is just ridiculous.

Yelp
Dog Haus Biergarten is located in the East Village area of San Diego. Today was National Hot Dog Day, and Dog Haus was giving away free Hot Dogs with the download/usage of their app. Since I was in San Diego for Comic Con, I decided to walk over from the Convention Center to score me a free Hot Dog. The staff were friendly and accommodating as I asked about getting a free Hot Dog. The guy who helped me showed me the way using the app (they scan you QR Code). It was done simply and easily. I decided to order a second Hot Dog to get free Tater Tots (using the Yelp checkin, of course). I took a seat and charged my phone while waiting. The wait was short as my free Hot Dog (Sooo Cali) was brought to my table. Delicious. The second Hot Dog (Cowboy) with free Tater Tots was delivered shortly thereafter -- also delicious. I also had a bottomless drink (Coke) -- it was tempting to try something on tap, but I had some serious walking to do, so I passed -- maybe next time. I was going to try them when they first opened but didn't get around to it. I'm glad I finally did.

Yelp
First time trying and it was delicious. Its really hard to find a good vegan hotdog. It was so good. I also tried an impossible slider and it was a darn good slider. Make sure to order on their site so you dont get charged extra fees via other apps. It is street parking some with meters. Having 2 people go so one can run in a grab would be ideal if you are prdering pickup. With covid, we saw a sign that they do offer patio seating. It was pretty quick pick up. We ordered, left and it was a 12 minute drive and the food was ready when we got there. Will definetly be back.

Yelp
My husband and I had a late day and ordered takeout. We were extremely disappointed by our order. The corn dog was burnt and lived up to the phrase on the box it came in because it was "the absolute wurst." My husband had the Holi aioli burger said it was ok just overly cooked due to it being burnt.

Yelp
I love this place! Parking is challenging being that it's in Downtown but well worth the hassle. The place is a lot bigger than I thought. There is a bar with craft beers on tap. And the restaurant itself has a good amount of tables and seats. You order at the counter. They give you a number and you seat yourself. Server will bring you your food. We tried: Chili Idol (Haus chili, cheese sauce and onions, lots of onions). Good and messy. Scott Baioli (bacon wrapped dog, cheddar cheese sauce, caramelized onions, garlic aioli). This was my favorite, very flavorful. Thai Fighter (spicy Thai currywurst sausage, arugula, pickled jalapeños, spicy Thai aioli). This was good but too spicy for me, and I even took the jalapeños off the dog. I'm a light weight, what can I say?? Cheeseburger Slider: angus beef, mayo, white American cheese (nice change up from yellow cheese), caramelized onions. Good option if you're looking for a lite bite. Chili Cheese Tots: I'm just happy that they have Tots!!! Overall, I like the place and love that all they use toasted Hawaiian bread for all their items! I saw a few more items that I need to try so in the voice of Arnold Schwarzenegger... "I'll be back".

Yelp
First time visit. I had a pleasant time. The food was definitely worth it. If you haven't tried out Dog Haus, try it out and I guarantee you'll be back. Beef, Chicken and Vegan options available! P.s. The beer on draft was smooth. #TangerineExpressIPA I'll be back! :)

Yelp
Came here on a rainy Monday - so it was empty...lucky for us because that meant fast service. We tried a few things and they were all delicious. The only thing I would have changed was less mustard on the reservoir dog - but that was just my preference. Fast friendly service. Check out their Groupon before you go! Will try again.

Yelp
Great trendy atmosphere coupled with comfort food of hot dogs, burgers, beer and fried potatoes, makes this a step up from your traditional bar food. Only thing lacking here is speedy service. We came on a Saturday evening. While there was a lively filled restaurant, it wasn't entirely packed. We ordered our food at the counter and were able to quickly grab a table. We were hopeful to be able to get in and out after spending an entire day on our feet at Comic Con. However, to our dismay, 15 minutes passed, 20 minutes and finally exactly at 30 minutes our food arrived. This was quite disappointment given our expectations for a hot dog and burger joint. The slow food service was partially offset by the creative and tastiness of the food. The Frieburger, which was a burger sandwiched with fries, fried egg, avocado, lettuce and tomato, was delicious. We would order that with double meat the second time around. The Socali hotdog was a great combination of tomato, avocado, and fried onions. The kids were not thrilled about the mini dogs smothered in spicier cheddar cheese and spiced bacon. Oh and dont forgot the Yelp check-in for free side order of tots. These were fried to perfection! Prices were very reasonable. For a party of four we got in and out in under $30! But remember in and out may be a bit longer than you expect!

Yelp
Justpadge_eats Their menu can be overwhelming if going in hungry. Various choices of proteins and even plant based options. The names of dishes on the menu can be pretty entertaining and can sway your decision (well it did for me at least). A show favorite growing up was The Love Boat, if only our servers name was Julie. Served over a trough of Tater Tots (or fries) was their Haus Chili and Haus Slaw, a tasty blend of flavors. Not sure if I took a breath. Next was another favorite from the past The Karage Kid (The Karate Kid for you youngins) "Show me paint the fence Danielson!" *Karaage fried chicken, haus slaw, sweet ginger sauce, spicy mayo, wasabi furikake* All between lightly toasted Hawaiian Sweet Rolls! This was way better than 'The Next Karate Kid' but then again that's not saying much. Most definitely deserves another trip to try one of the other proteins.

Yelp
REVISED/UPDATED..... 2/7/20 I have deleted my former positive review, I am no longer a supporter of this poorly-managed, poorly-staffed restaurant. I came in for a late afternoon lunch... but first I had to wade through a fog of employee-generated pungent marijuana smoke on the patio at the entrance, being illegally used in public by three of their stoner, couldn't-care-less- about-the-public- (or-the-owners) lame kitchen staff. There was no one working on the food line or the cash register cuz they were all outside getting high, and the bartender was rude and unfriendly. No wonder this restaurant is always empty.. I smell a bankruptcy coming, going up in smoke, Cheech and Chong style. I turned on my heel and left and I will not come back. Hey Scott (owner):...Your employees are out of control, totally customer unfriendly, and you obviously lack the management skills to run a good business. In addition to your mostly-unused public patio being an attractive magnet for the homeless bums in the neighborhood, it is now a marijuana hookah palace for your employees? Givee me a freaking break!!! This is millennial-generation madness. Folks, Take the time to read their other similar negative reviews, and the lame responses from the owner and you'll see why this restaurant is always empty. Update 3/13/30-- after being ineffectively contacted (by email only) by the corporate office, by some lame mini-minion in their marketing dept, I then received a totally lame, canned and worthless public response on Yelp from the owner of this franchise, named Scott. His reply, just like his all other weaka** replies to complaints was a joke, a sad joke. First the conversation hasn't been moved to email, and he did not reach out to me personally. Second why write with marketing hype about your goal when you obviously have failed to manage your restaurant well. He is just as incompetently unable to publically and effectively address a customer's serious and valid public complaint as he is unable to deliver a good product and competent staff. Check this out, they just struck out again... they're 0/2.... At the invitation of corporate I went in to eat again today, as their guest..and I wish I could give them zero Stars instead of the one that I've given. I ordered my usual but overpriced sooCali hot dog.... but the bun was cold not even properly toasted or warm. Maybe the cook was stoned? Or maybe he has coronavirus, and the fever is preventing him from remembering how to cook? At any rate he's part of a team that can't shoot straight, and this bunch of lame employees is going to end up bankrupting this franchise. With the coronavirus panic and the public afraid, restaurants are going to face a challenging next few weeks.... this is a time to deliver perfection and excellence, not mediocrity... Good luck with that, DoggieDooHaus.... Are you listening Scott-owner? or do you care? I await another lame response.

Yelp
An acquaintance of mine, @wil.dro, suggested we get wieners tonight. NGL I was sussed out at first. Things didn't get better when we walked in and they were playing the whole Teenage Dream album by Katy Perry. Luckily their beer choice was fantastic and food choice was even better. The T Mex and Wurst Dog were dank. I've never been able to fit so much sausage in my mouth. Tots were pretty A1. Our server was the plug too. Only reason this isn't 5 stars is the music choice.

Yelp
Came here on a layover to Hawaii and absolutely LOVED it. Dog Haus was clean, staff was friendly, personable and fast! Absolutely loved the beer selection and they even have vegetarian options! Cheese fries are a MUST! Would definitely come back.
