Amazing spot! Danielle, the amazing FOH everything (server, bartender, front counter order taker, cleaner) is a definite asset to this business. I ordered the T-Mex sausage with tots...AMAZING. The flavor was sooo good! I also ordered a couple beers...it was slow today when they opened (except there was a constant stream of pick-ups)...Danielle and I chatted about the food, she helped me choose, then she gave me a sample of a new sour they had gotten in...Fate Brewing Company Berry....amazing, I ordered one! Very much recommend this amazing place....I hope to get to go back and try the burgers and especially the breakfast chimichanga! Sausage, 3 beers...with decent tip 50 bucks....

Google
Ammmmmmazing food! We come here for so many reasons, the burgers and dogs are next level and even when you’re cutting carbs, the burger bowls are extra delicious. Buttttt the burritos are the best kept secret, best breakfast burritos in the valley, and the Nashville hot chicken sandwich is life changing. We lovvvvve coming here and wish we could stay longer but the chairs are the most uncomfortable seating ever. I think it’s a Dog Haus thing because other locations have the same chairs and they are all miserable. Lovvvve the food and atmosphere but please change the chairs someday soon!

Google
Clean place, cool people excellent customer service! Now let's get to the food, came out nice and hot. I got the downtown and man that was so good, My son got the downtown and we shared a 6 piece of wings fire 🔥!! Different drinks and great bar selection. I will be back to bring my husband for a night out.

Google
Had the Fonz, it was great. The bun was 3 hawain rolls slit on the side, it was a pretty interesting bun. They also had a huge draft selection!

Google
great place to grab a beer and bratwurst! Good cocktails as well!

Google
So welcoming and nice. We've never been here before, We were originally sitting outside on the patio with our dog and the lady behind the bar was very sweet and told us that we could bring our dog inside and I let her know that our dog is still getting used to being out and about and still barks a little and she said it was perfectly fine and if we wanted to we could sit towards the back she brought us a bowl of water and a burger patty for our dog and our dog did bark at her a tiny bit but she was so super nice and gave the dog a treat. Thank you 💜 much love for this place

Google
Good hot Doug’s abs there are a couple signature menu items. They serve these in Kings Hawaiian Sweet Rolls. I’m not a fan of the sweet rolls. These would be so much better in a classic white bun. I believe the burgers are also served in the same sweet rolls. I would absolutely go back, but I may order without the sweet rolls. The restaurant is very clean and orderly. Little details matter to them like arranging the seats so the bar to be aligned and setting up all the tables to have the same arrangements. Friendly staff and delicious food at a reasonable price

Google
Hot dogs, burgers, beers, and cocktails. This place is a must-try. All their food is amazing. All beef hot dog with chili on top... so good. Their draft of local beers is crazy long. And they have a full bar including their list of specialty cocktails. It's a walk-up and order. Great for groups. Parking can be difficult, they have made all the parking lots paid by hour. So the only free option would be to find street parking, but there isnt much.

Yelp
( This is the last of five reviews I've prepared for describing some of the food I ate while I was out in Phoenix, Arizona. ) One of the commonalities I noticed about both Las Vegas and Phoenix is that they both have very vibrant food scenes ranging from the eclectic to the upscale, and everything in between. And yet, even with such a diverse range of offerings, sometimes, you just want a simple burger or hot dog. That was what inevitably drew me back to Tempe Town Lake, especially when I saw this place among the restaurants there! Dog Haus is a fast-casual joint that specializes in hot dogs and sausages, though they also have burgers and chicken sandwiches on offer. This place is special to me, though -- I actually remember several years back when Dog Haus made their ill-fated venture into Las Vegas, and was absolutely gutted when they closed. Thus, when I saw this place while I was at Sweet Republic the day before, I just knew that I had to come out here and treat myself. It's as great as I remember -- as a restaurant and biergarten, the Dog Haus is set up kind of like a sports bar, complete with the decor to match. Think exposed steel beams, wooden tables, metal barrels and a industrial-looking bar with TV screens mounted all over. The food, though, is something else entirely; they have all manner of hot dogs and sausages on offer that you can't go wrong with whatever you order. (They even have vegetarian and vegan-friendly dogs!) I ended up going with my classic order of the Chili Idol, the Fonz, and cheese fries; after several years of not having them, they tasted just as good as I remembered! Of course, they also have burgers and chicken on the menu, so you're guaranteed a great meal regardless. I just picked those because that was what I always ordered from the Dog Haus in Vegas back when they were open! One thing that sets them apart, too, is their use of Hawaiian sweet rolls for the bread instead of the usual white burger and hot dog buns; as a fan of Hawaiian sweet rolls, Dog Haus immediately shot up to the top of my favorite fast casual joints back in the day. I'd recommend this place to anyone who wants good old-fashioned burgers and hot dogs, and it's not because I missed this place -- the food here is genuinely good. Here's to hoping they decide to try again and come out here to Vegas, because I think they're ready for their take on hot dogs! Until then, I'll just sit here and think about if and when I come back to Phoenix, lol. Please, if you're in the area, do yourself a favor and come out here. You won't regret it. ( Thank you for those of you who read through all five of my reviews from the Phoenix area. If you're a local, please, cherish your food scene and support them. You won't regret it. )

Yelp
I recently checked out Dog Haus in Tempe, and while the idea behind their offerings is solid, the experience was just... okay. I ordered the premium Angus beef dog, topped with smoked bacon, caramelized onions, chipotle aioli, pickled jalapeños, and cotija cheese, all on grilled King's Hawaiian rolls with a side of onion rings. The good? The hot dog itself tasted better than it looked. The toppings--especially the bacon and the spicy jalapeños--had potential, and the King's Hawaiian rolls added a nice sweet touch. The onion rings were crispy, though a bit underwhelming in terms of flavor. Now, the not-so-good: the overall combination just didn't quite come together as well as I expected. Some of the toppings didn't really pop, and the chipotle aioli and cotija cheese were subtle to the point of being forgettable. The bacon was great, but a little drowned out by everything else. Also, for $20-ish for lunch in a college area? It felt a little steep. Sure, it's a premium dog, but I wasn't blown away enough to justify the price, especially when there are plenty of other options in the area. Would I order again? Probably not. It's worth trying if you're curious, but I wasn't left with that "I need this again" feeling.

Yelp
Really great American food, prices weren't bad and happy on Sunday's are awesome and lasts til midnight! We got the chili tots and regular ones for a side, I recommend the chili. Hot dogs and their sausages were great! Would go again for sure! Also try the pineapple infused water, it's amazing!

Yelp
I came in during my visit to Phoenix with friends and we all enjoyed our food here. It was oddly quiet but the ambience is casual and friendly, and there's a nice small outdoor seating area in front. Condiments, drinks, and board games are self serve. I had the Old Town Haus dog, chili cheese tots, and some friend thing which I don't remember but it was a special and I didn't think it was worth it. However I really enjoyed the other two items, and the use of Hawaiian rolls as hot dog and hamburger buns was really creative. They weren't messy or too saucy though which foods like this can risk being. My only comment is that it is a bit pricy given you'll likely need to order several things to get full.

Brad F.

Yelp
The food is good. The beer selection is decent. The atmosphere is kinda cool. The staff... well, they seem to not want to be bothered by your patronage. The location at San Tan Mall is the polar opposite. They're friendly and welcoming there. I'll be sticking to that location.
google avatar

Samyia ..

Yelp
Everything was made to perfection. The service was top tier & the ambiance had a great welcoming feeling. This was my very first time here & i will definitely be coming back.

Yelp
After spending some time at the We Work nearby I was hungry and always wanted to try Dog Haus. I heard good things about it, and they have some unique options. I got the Soo Cali dog, which was nice and flavorful. It came with avocado, tomato, and a delicious sauce and crispy onions so it was nice and crunchy and not dry. There was more bread than hot dog, but I did love the Hawaiian roll it came on, it was perfectly toasted on the top. I didn't feel super full after it so it was a good snack. It took a few minutes for them to make it and the staff was very kind, and the restaurant was clean. They also have a bar there in case you want a drink with your dog lol
google avatar

Yelp
A cheeseburger on Hawaiian sweet rolls? Heaven. I thought maybe it was the edible making it better than it really is, so I ordered again (and again....). It really is THAT good.
google avatar

Connie G.

Yelp
This was our last family meal. My son recommended this place, as he and his wife like coming here. I ordered a Bad Mutha Clucka chicken sandwich and a soda. We sat outside because it was too cold inside, although I liked the spaciousness inside. You order at the counter but food gets delivered. Service was good. I liked the sauce on my chicken and the bread was melt-in-your-mouth. There are plenty of craft beers but at $8 a pint, opted to just have soda.
google avatar

Vicki S.

Yelp
It was a good place to eat before the men's basketball game. I got the chicken tenders and they were huge. My husband got the Soo Cali and said it was as good. Fries were fine. The service was amazing! Lots of Tv's and tables. Outside seating was available. Recommend.
google avatar

Serena S.

Yelp
My coworkers and I love coming to dog haus as we work right across. It's very convenient and fun for us. Yesterday was my birthday, so we went to get some celebratory drinks. The service was absolutely awful. The only guy working the bar / register was extremely unpleasant. This wasn't a one time thing, it's happened since he started. Their other employees are not like this and so nice and friendly. However, Sam G. Should not be working as the "face" of dog haus. if he isn't going to be friendly to customers. Ambiance is laid back, dark, cool vibes.
google avatar

Mark M.

Yelp
Dog Haus is known for its gourmet hot dogs and burgers, but don't sleep on their breakfast burritos! You might not think "burritos" when you hear the name, but the Tempe and downtown Phoenix locations serve up some incredible ones. Packed with fresh ingredients and bold flavors, they're a must-try if you're there in the morning. Perfect for breakfast on the go or a casual start to your day. Service isn't worth mentioning here since it's not a high serviced place. Mainly took to go.
google avatar

Candace B.

Yelp
Upon entry there was no one in the front at all for about 7 minutes and the place was empty. The server who came out was friendly and took my order. The food came out pretty quickly. I opted to sit outside due to the nice weather. The atmosphere is pretty chill. The chicken sandwich turned goopy midway through and was messy to eat. The fries were good. The taste was okay on both but nothing outstanding. Overall, I'm glad I gave it a shot.
google avatar

Melaney L.

Yelp
I went in to have a breakfast burrito from Bad Ass Breakfast Burritos, and not only was that breakfast burrito fucking delicious, but the bartender Johnny made me the most amazing michelada I've had since leaving California. I told him that it was a close second to Mr.Taco in Redlands,CA. This michelada was so good it made me cry. It made me miss home, it made me miss my friends. I will be returning to this location and having a michelada made by Johnny and Johnny only lol thank you for such amazing food, drinks, and atmosphere.

Yelp
How in the heck is this 4 stars? Absolutely amazing from the local beer selection to the food to the 80's alternative music. My new favorite place in Phoenix. Try it, will change your life!
google avatar

Madeline S.

Yelp
Ate too fast to snap a pic but this was my first time eating Dog Haus and I really liked it. I ordered a Sooo Veggie Bratwurst and beer battered onion rings online and it was ready in less than 15 minutes. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by a "Welcome!" from the cashier who promptly grabbed my food for me after I told her I placed an online order. The restaurant was clean, airy and industrial feeling. I will define only be back!

Byron V.

Yelp
Love the food here. Clean environment, good reliable food. Affordable price. Who could ask for more.
google avatar

Lexi B.

Yelp
Usually super good burritos and other food but the last 2-3 times we have been the customer service and food has gone down hill. We are eating here right now and they wrapped the burritos in the wrong wrapping which was whatever but then I cut into my burrito and it had almost no meat and my boyfriend started eating his and it was the wrong burrito or it also had no meat in it. We have also had bad experiences with the management just asking for hot sauce.
google avatar

Jarah G.

Yelp
Hits every time a little overpriced if you do not know how to order properly but overall 8/10
google avatar

Gus K.

Yelp
The food here is great, but sometimes the service is questionable. On my recent visit, I ordered a love boat with tots and a few other things. I didn't pay attention to what was on the screen because it thought it was a fairly simple order. When the food came out I noticed they gave me plain tots. The person who brought the food disappeared before I had a chance to notice and say something, so I brought the receipt up to the bar explaining the error. The bartender started walking to the register where there was a line of people waiting to order and then stopped to tell me that I'd have to pay the difference. Now I don't mind paying the difference, but expecting me to get back in line to sort this out while my freshly delivered food was getting cold was not the way to handle this. It made me want to say "Sure but can I take back my tip". Additionally, we're talking about a difference of a dollar or so. The right way to handle it would be to tell me to have a seat and they'll get it taken care of. If me paying the difference was so much of an issue they could have added that when they bring it by they'll take my payment for the difference. I would have been fine with that, though it still seems petty. Morale of the story is you gotta watch everything these people do to make sure stuff is right yourself. You can't rely on them to get things right.

Yelp
Love this place and the location isn't bad either. We parked in the covered lot and rode the elevator down, walked out the door and there it is. Hotdogs here are not just hot dogs. They are a form of art. Everything you could want in the combined flavors add to the perfect bite, or knife and fork if you don't want to get messy like me. Even the fries are perfection, which considering sometimes fries aren't great at some places. After we ate we walked over to the lake and sat out there for awhile. With indoor and outdoor seating it can't be beat. Worth the drive for us.
google avatar

Delaney H.

Yelp
Justin and Peyton welcomed us in for our first time at this location and it was the best intro I've ever had in a brewery. They gave great suggestions and made sure our dog had water and a treat within minutes of walking in the door. 10/10! We will be back!

Michael S.

Yelp
The food was good. The service was good. The little round stools that they make you sit on are torture devices.
google avatar

Marcus B.

Yelp
This place has terrible management. Their business model is trash. Their food is mediocre
google avatar

Brion S.

Yelp
We came in because of a recommendation and was quite pleased. The drinks were tasty. And the food was plenty. Not a fan of the Hawaiian rolls for both the burger and hotdog.
google avatar

James M.

Yelp
Oder the Bad Mutha Clucka, grilled chicken sandwich, Really good! Chicken had a good taste to it, onion rings were on point highly recommend, amazing bar service from Bryan, good music as well would recommend coming here.
google avatar

Ani M.

Yelp
I love this place because we can walk along the lake to get to this cute little hideaway. Hot dogs and Brats were great and onion rings portion is perfect and not so greasy. Love their beer selection. Service can be improved.

Christian A.

Yelp
10/10 Food 10/10 Service Dog Haus was amazing! Fantastic service and delicious food. Highly recommend to everyone!
google avatar

Ada D.

Yelp
Worst service and management, the workers in the back always get my order wrong, I'm not sure if they are not trained or just don't speak English. I used to go there often, but I have stopped. Plus the manger is very rude even though I get my order messed up. I have always asked not to add meat in my burritos but they always do and I have an allergic reaction to it . They really don't care about their customers there. Would not recommend this place. Rude management and untrained employees.
google avatar

Luna G.

Yelp
Ringer Burger with Onion Rings on the side was absolutely Delicious!!!! And I love BbQ sauce just never had it in a burger. It's like sliders and a burger in one!! Definitely would recommend !! Service was fast and everyone was kind. If you haven't tried this place you should
google avatar

Donovan B.

Yelp
Came here the other night and man was it good. I got the little mule and it was amazing! The burger was juice and had the nice kick of spice to it which was balanced by the fried egg and avocado you get on top. The sweet potato fries are great to nice crisp to them. The service was great nice and friendly and even gave recommendations since my first time there. It was a little cold inside but I love the way it's set up and the decor inside as well and even has a patio. If you're in the mood for a burger I would definitely recommend going and trying them out.
google avatar

Caroline R.

Yelp
Best hangover breakfast burritos ever. Literally cure me the morning after. So huge, amazing sauce and puts me into a coma after eating it. I recommend calling ahead to order if you are doing take-out, can take awhile to craft these amazing big a** burritos.

Shawn M.

Yelp
Fantastic hotdogs. I had the Downtown it was delicious. I also had a brat which was just as good. Great service and very clean. I will definitely be back

Gerald S.

Yelp
Food was excellent. Decent prices. Staff was friendly and attentive. Very nice bar! Had a great selection of beers. Definitely recommend!
google avatar

Dolores D.

Yelp
Really good hot dogs. I got the downtown hot dog and the so cal. Both really good my sister likes the cowboy. We got fries and sliders too. The sliders are good. Reminds me of the Culvers burger. They also have happy hour.
google avatar

Ruthie R.

Yelp
Had my meal delivered and bought the chili idol, cowboy and some onion rings. The bread is really good and soft and is basically grilled hawaiian rolls. So also sweet. I think it made the cowboy got dog too sweet for me as the bbq sauce seemed sweet. The chili idol was also good, but the chili seemed a little less flavorful. And the onion rings were a bit too salty for me, so maybe that's a personal taste preference. Overall it's good and flavorful. I do like that they give bread options and I do want to try their chili cheese tots. I would like to also try the other items on the menu as well.
google avatar

Jeremy G.

Yelp
So good, I went twice. Nice chill spot. Friendly staff and cold beers with good food. First day was the old down hotdog and second was a burger, the little Mule. Little Mule has white American cheese, avocado, pickled jalapeños, cotija cheese, fried eggs, and chipotle aioli. The burger was cooked to a medium, without even asking. Tasty. The egg was cooked perfectly, the yolk covers the burger. The dog with the bacon on it!!! Have mercy!! Reminded me of a street dog. Essentially they have the same toppings as the little mule with out the eggs. Both on point.
google avatar

Kristina B.

Yelp
The burgers were so tasty. I love the Hawaiian bun, gives it the extra sweetness you need. We ordered food and came out pretty quick.
google avatar

Angela V.

Yelp
Here's the truth, don't go for dinner. It wasn't anything notable worth returning for - overpriced burger and a beer. Your typical bar food. But oh my gosh, the breakfast is TO DIE FOR. The breakfast burrito - the mule - is literally so dang good. We heard about the burrito from friends and ordered them for our leasing staff at our apartment complex and they RAVED about them for weeks. 10/10 recommend the burritos - i'm sure any of them are delicious. I'm a harsh burger critic, so do be warned, I grade harshly.
google avatar

Isi C.

Yelp
Great service. I found out they had half off for ASU students on Mondays after I ordered. I went back to the counter to ask if I could have the discount even though I already ordered and they were kind enough to provide it. I got the sliders and fries which was a great combo.
google avatar

Mike W.

Yelp
I got Dog House for the first time to go last night and it was fantastic! I had the Bad Mutha Clucka and it was great! The fried chicken fingers on the hawiian roll bun really hit the spot and it will not be last time here thats four sure!
google avatar

Christina B.

Yelp
Came in for their two year anniversary for the $2 hot dog. I tried the soooo cali one, which has avocado, arugula, tomato and crispy onions in toasted Hawaiian bread:). It was humongous cuz of the bread. Perfectly balanced flavor. I had to use a plastic knife and fork to eat it. It was clean inside and I sat at the bar for my snack, but there are plenty of tables, and they have outdoor seating in the front. The guy working the front is really nice and well-mannered. I have stopped by here before to pickup food for doordash and he was polite then too. They have a happy hour. I really wanted to stay for the $1.50 fries and tots, but had to return to work.
google avatar

Carissa C.

Yelp
A classic! Love love love their tater tots - always a go to whenever I visit a Dog Haus! This location is really cool since there's a bar inside and they have a lotttt of drinks and are open late. Lots of seating inside and a few outside. My friends get different things and especially since it's open late, it always just hits the spot.
google avatar

Stephanie L.

Yelp
When you want fancy, creative hot dogs you have to pay the price! The haus dogs will run you $7.99. Love the creative use of Hawaiian rolls as buns cause who doesn't love Hawaiian rolls?! Also enjoyed the all beef dog because they're usually thicker and tastier. I agree that the dog:bun ratio (more dog, less bun) could be better. Bf had the hangover burger for $10.49, also served on Hawaiian rolls. The portion was generous and bf had about half saved for leftovers! The beef corn dog was $4.99 and ours was on the more burnt/toasty side. Good but I'd probably skip next time. Lastly we had chili cheese tots for $5.99. I appreciated the thoughtful packaging of the tots and chili cheese separately. The chili to cheese ratio was off and could have used more cheese. Overall a nice treat if you're craving a stacked hot dog!
google avatar

Nanette M.

Yelp
We love the Dog Haus in Long Beach, Ca so I expected it to be the same. I always get the Sooo Cali. The service was fast, but the food is not as fresh as it is at the LBC one. I had to pull off all if the ingredients. The avocado was very brown and not very tasty. The greens were very sour so that's bad. They close late and we got food around 8pm so it shouldn't be that we got the daily leftovers....I would try it again bec I always believe we have bad days....
google avatar

Henry G.

Yelp
Everything I've had so far has been delicious. The Fonz which is a spicy sausage, wrapped in pastrami, was awesome. The chili idol chili dog, awesome. The hangover burger, awesome, although it would be more awesome with potatoes on it. I really love that both times I've been, they have cider on tap. The only debatable negative is that you have to order at the counter, but they give you a number and bring the food out to your table. I've been to plenty of restaurants where the waitstaff aren't very attentive, so maybe ordering at the counter isn't the worst thing. I'll definitely be back to try more bratwurst, hotdogs, and hamburgers.

Ryan J.

Yelp
Great service. Fast food prep. Burger was prepared exactly correct. The bun for the burger is the perfect "sweetness" to add great flavor. Fries were "meh". Definitely worth a shot for the burgers alone.
google avatar

Erica S.

Yelp
The smells are amazing and the food is just as delicious. I ordered the old town dog, I'm not a fan of Hawaiian rolls but they used them as buns and toasted them was so good. My hot dog had jalapeños on it so the sweet bread complimented the spiciness. It was a very good size and it was a quality dog.
google avatar

Ben H.

Yelp
I'm typically a hamburger guy, but I will admit, Dog Haus has the best daugs around. The soo veggie is soo good. Although it's plant based, it's not the healthy, as it's drenched in sauce and fried onions. Delicious nonetheless. If there was a healthier vegan option I choose that, until then, I'll continue with the soo veggie
