My kids' German Shorthaired Pointer, Gunter, had an absolute blast at Dog House Drinkery & Dog Park! We visited recently, and I couldn’t resist snapping a perfect picture of him in front of the awesome "Dog House Drinkery" sign in the dog run—he looked so happy chasing his ball! The park is spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with plenty of room for high-energy dogs like Gunter to run and play. I really appreciated the staff’s attentiveness and how they ensure a safe environment for all the dogs. The bar area is a fantastic bonus—grabbing a cold drink while watching Gunter have the time of his life was such a treat. It’s clear this place is designed with both dogs and their owners in mind. We’ll definitely be back for more tail-wagging fun! Thanks for creating such a wonderful spot for our furry friends to enjoy.

Google
I had the best time at Dog House Drinkery!! Dog park and bar combo, such a great space for you and your fur baby to hang!

Google
Super chill vibes, I love everything this place stands for! There’s drinks and dogs, lots of seating and shade. Dog bowls a plenty and tons of room for the furry friends to run around.

Google
My dog and I love Dog House Drinkery! It's nice and shaded and has a very relaxing ambience between the trees and gravel. Great place to hang out, grab a beer while letting my dog run around, and the owner Jodi is amazing! She does a lot of work with local dog rescues which is a great support to help dogs find homes and be cared for while they wait!

Google
Thoroughly enjoyed this place. Friendly staff welcomed us as we arrived at the bar, lots of space, tucked in off the road with trees on all sides. Very peaceful spot for a beer while the dogs get their zoomies out.

Google
I love this place! It's got a huge shaded dog park with lots to do, the owner and bartender is friendly and talkative, they have a trivia night and there is a bar! What more could u ask for? Except for paying to go into the dog park, which kinda blows. But meh. It's not as expensive as other paid dog parks I've seen. And it's better. Keep doing what ur doing Jody!

Google
We absolutely love this place! Very laid back environment, but I also feel that my dog is safe and in good hands. We had my dog’s birthday party here in their private reservable area where we were allowed to bring food for the party guests, then we moved to the large general play area. Everyone had a great time!

I have been going to Dog House since maybe a year or so before Covid, and cannot say enough nice things! There is tons of shade for your favorite pooch, staff that walks the yard to make sure all doggies are playing nicely. Hostess with the mostest, Jodi is a staple there and is always welcoming and friendly. There is pool, tons of parking, trivia, and the best music playlist ever. I can't take my dog to the normal dog park because she is a little skittish, but here for some reason, the vibe chills her out. It's the pur-fect park for your pooch.

Yelp
The Dog House has been an incredible experience for our pup, Sherlock. As a rescue, he needed a place that was safe and provided a controlled environment. A normal dog park (Cedar Bark Park) had uncontrollable variables, such as parents who didn't pay attention and aggressive dogs with no sense of parent ownership... and Sherlock didn't deserve any more trauma (or worse) than what he's already been through. Jodie has made this place heaven for Sherlock, and now it's almost every week that we go for socialization - not just for him, but now for us. The regulars are amazing people, and their dogs are cute and well behaved. What's most important to us is that Jodie (the owner) is attentive, knows everyone, and makes sure all dogs feel safe (with an attendant in with the dogs as well). What's surprising is in the summer, it isn't as hot as we thought it would be - coming around 6:30-7pm, there's more than enough shade for humans and pups! I didn't think we'd find a place as awesome as this, but... we did. Membership was 100% worth it with how much we go. Thanks Jodie, you've made a lasting forever impression for us and Sherlock.

Yelp
My wife and I were thrilled when finding Dog House Drinkery. First, the dog park is one of the largest we've been to when trying out dog park bars. Huge area for the dogs to run around, featuring obstacles, pools to cool off, tennis balls, plenty of drinking water, and plenty of shade. The music selection for both the dog park and inside the bar area is perfect, every song chosen a banger. Next, the person running the bar (sorry I didn't ask your name!) is absolutely wonderful. Incredibly hospitable, friendly, and, of course, a major dog person. She had no issue with our curious dog wanting to beg for all the treats. Dogs are allowed inside to cool off if needed, and the indoor space features pool, a ping pong table, and foosball. They offer a variety of drink options including a multitude of different beers, ciders, seltzers, and wine. Also some snacks to chow down on. Don't forget the pup! They have in-house made doggy ice cream, which our pup absolutely loved! They also feature trivia every Wednesday night! Overall, we had a wonderful experience and look forward to visiting many more times in the future. If you're searching for a dog friendly bar, as I was, look no further. This is your spot!

Yelp
While dog parks are "for the dogs" they can provide for a relaxing time for the owners as well. The Dog House in Leander is a very easy to access facility for our beloved furry ones to acclimate themselves and interact with other dogs in a safe atmosphere. As for the owner, there's plenty of parking and adult beverages are available for the owners to indulge in as they let the pooches get some exercise. After checking in for a small fee and signing wavers, you and your four-legged family member go through the gates to a huge field with lawn chairs, tables and all sorts of obstacles for the canines to check out. When I went all of the animals seemed well behaved while obviously being curious about the rear ends of all their new found friends. After plenty of sniffing, it's very interesting to see how the pack mentality works for the many different breeds that are running around. I saw a "height challenged" dachshund and boxer mix run over an elevated plank obstacle, a husky run away from a poodle, and a three-legged black lab run circles around the 10 or so dogs that were galloping in the yard. Luckily my chair was right under an oak providing shade for me and my beer of choice while maintaining a discerning eye. If you're a new dog owner it's a very good idea to get your dog used to other dogs as it will make them better pets. The Dog House is a very safe environment for your pooch to practice their social skills. Now, if you're an owner with an older dog, perhaps Fido would enjoy getting out and stretching the legs a little bit or finally if you have a highly energetic breed this should definitely be on your list of places to visit to burn off some energy. Overall, I enjoyed the park and did the doggie so I give The Dog House 2 paws up!

Yelp
The Dog Park and Drinkery in Cedar Park is a fantastic spot that combines a dog-friendly environment with a relaxing drinkery atmosphere. They offer cold drinks, beer, wine, and host trivia nights on Wednesdays, adding a fun and interactive element to the experience. The music creates a lively ambiance, making it perfect for spending quality time with your furry friends and family. What stood out were the shaded seating areas, ensuring comfort even on hot days, and the option of a private dog park for a more intimate experience. The owner's passion for creating a welcoming space is evident, and their attention to detail is incredible. Overall, it exceeds expectations every time we visit rain or shine! Providing a perfect blend of relaxation, entertainment, and quality time with pets. I highly recommend making this a regular a lot if you live in the area!

Yelp
When I moved here in 2018, I was so so excited to find out about this place. Our 3 month old puppy was always very social, and he loved running around after the pack of dogs zooming around, making friends, and soaking in the water buckets to cool off. The best part of this place is that they have staff inside the park to make sure interactions stay friendly, and intervene if someone's dog is getting too feisty. There is a bar and bathrooms onsite, and if there's not a food truck parked in the lot, you can have food delivered to the bar. You can choose a day pass (per dog), or you can sign up for the annual membership. We made some great doggy and human friends. To no fault of Dog Haus, we stopped going, as our second dog was very socially insecure and did not enjoy the attention of even well-intentioned dogs. I also really appreciated that they only allowed dogs who have received their vaccinations and were spayed/neutered, so there was no fear of an unplanned litter. There should be a Dog Haus in every city.

Yelp
This place is Valhalla for dogs, y'all, and it's especially magical for healing a darling dog daughter named Dixie and her owners' devastated hearts! All three of us just suddenly lost our dog son and Dixie's ride-or-die brother, Dylan, this week, so we've all been trying to distract ourselves from our utter heartbreak with Austin adventures, and Doghouse Drinkery has been just the medical prescription for that. This is literally and non-hyperbolically the most zen and at peace that we've all been in four days! A thousand million thanks and licks, Doghouse Drinkery! Truly. We SO needed this!

Roger C.

Yelp
We live down the street from Dog House Drinkery and we love taking our 3 dogs on the weekends. They host really fun events and sometimes there's a mobile dog groomer out front. The staff is always super friendly!

Hannah L.

Yelp
An outstanding dog park! Fun for dogs and owners alike. Great drinks, great vibe and great people. Really responsible and nice dog owners, and all the dogs are so friendly. My dog absolutely loves it there.

Liz A.

Yelp
First time here and we will definitely be back. Owner was behind the bar and she was super friendly and helpful. Our dog had his best day.

Jeff H.

Yelp
Great place to bring your furry friend! It's quite a ways from down but it's worth the drive!

Yelp
Been to this dog park/drinkery once before COVID, and I will tell you it was a good experience. Decided we wanted to return with our neighbor who is an avid Dog House Drinkery resident. Unfortunately, I can't say our experience was positive this time. To start off, we walk up to the front where you pay your $8 admission fee (no biggie). They ask to see your dog's vaccination status (no biggie) in which as soon as I bring my dog around the corner, the lady in the front gave a not-so-friendly welcoming look. My fiancé asks out of habit if the Dog House Drinkery has Ranch Water, in which the lady working the front states "well we have a menu and visual aids right here." (our faces to be exact). So we said, "okay, thanks" then ordered our drinks. Good selection of drinks and priced fair. So, as we are paying for our drinks, the lady looks over the bar at our dog and gives the look she did before. Cool. ***Come to find out, the lady in the front is the owner! Not a great way to welcome guests. *** So we continued to walk him over, while still on his leash so he can explore and get accustomed to the other dogs and what not. He goes potty (#2) and I pick it up. I throw away the poop bag in the garbage next to where my dog pooped. Come to find out, the pet attendant asks me "oh did you throw your poop bag away?" Of course I said yes because who leaves poop or poop bags in public areas. She proceeds to tell me it needs to go in 1 of 2 trash cans allllll the way in the back of the park. I get it - no smelly park. But I didn't know that. There were no signs. She proceeds to state "well I don't want you to go through the trash." Well, I got the trash bag of poop and walked towards the back corner of the dog park to throw it away. So, We go into the dog park - no issues. My fiancé, me and our neighbor kept a watch and close eye on our dogs. No issues. Our dog comes back to us and another black furry dog comes in and sniffs our dog's junk (no biggie) but our dog didn't enjoy that and became irritated which we were able to redirect. One of the pet attendants came up to us after we redirected the dogs and I stated that the other dog became too nosy, which is what all dogs do. However, the attendant states "well your dog has been trying to hump every dog in here." FALSE. I and my fiancé, as well as my neighbor who knows our dog, watched and there were NO incidents of humping. She states that the black furry dog does have some alpha-issues but he's good. Our dog did connect with another dog, whom the owner and I came to mutual understanding that ALL dogs have personalities like people and that we were able to redirect with no issues. Later this lady and her dog hung out with us-no issues. Later towards the time we were going to leave, the pet attendant comes out with her cell phone and took a pic of us and our dogs at our table WITHOUT our permission and walks away. The pet attendant kept making snarky remarks at us with no reasoning. Making comments about our dog while he was just laying down. Wow. Immediately stated we will NOT be returning as we did NOT have a positive experience and felt as though our dog and us were completely judged... right off the bat. Our dog did have a good time though, as pictured below.

Yelp
Amazing place to bring your dog! We've been bringing Nila since she was 4 months old and she is now 6. Bringing our dog here has been key to her learning socialization with other dogs and humans. And she is wiped out when we get home! We have met so many awesome friends here and it is such a welcoming community! Nila loves the owner and can't wait for her special treat from Jodie when we leave.

Matt B.

Yelp
This place is THE place to bring your dog. Have a drink, let your dog socialize, meet some cool people. Your search is over. Bring your puppy too. Puppies need early socialization and there is no better place in the area. Puppy classes don't really cut it IMO.

Jeremy L.

Yelp
Good place to chill w your pup. Good selection of beer and wine, and a comfortable environment.

Lesley L.

Yelp
I've been coming to this place for a while. The staff is super friendly and my dogs always have a great time. It's very clean with a lot of water bowls and kiddie pools for the dogs. They have a great trivia night on Wednesdays and it gets pretty busy. I love how laid back the vibe is and how even if there are a lot of dogs, they all get along. The non stop running and wrestling makes them sleep so good when you get home! I'll be going back for some good drinks tonight!

Andrew K.

Yelp
They need to put 1. Not child or family friendly 2. Entrance fee required. 8$ per dog. 3. bring vaccination records Bartender was busy with locals and after waiting a few minutes, we decided to leave.

Kausik S.

Yelp
This is my zen space and my second home. My pup absolutely loves this park and I love the fact owner Jodie and the park attendants keep a watchful eye in the park to make sure pups are having a great time and humans are being responsible. Bear it in mind this is a dogpark attached to a bar, not vice-versa. I see some reviewers commenting about lack of draft beers or food options. They do have mobile food trucks and other vendors during planned events. JFYI, TABC and Texas Health and Safety code rules are different. Owners chose to keep it as is for a good reason.

Meagan H.

Yelp
I am so glad this place is there. We took 2 of our dogs last night. It was fun for them and us. The staff were welcoming. Good selection of beer and wine. It is a laid back, easy place to relax. All the dogs there were well behaved and if someone got feisty they had a worker that would spray the dog with a small squirt bottle to make them chill out. It worked well. They also have a giant sprinkler fire hydrant and a small plastic pool for the dogs that like water.

Gail M.

Yelp
My dog and I have frequented this spot often this spring with various experiences, both good and bad. I've met some great people there and some jerks. The jerks are the ones who seem to think their bully dogs are cute, or they don't pay any attention to the fact that their dog keeps slamming another dog to the ground. There are just not enough refs many times and that must be a thankless job when they have to walk a balance beam of not pissing off one customer and not pissing off the OTHER customers. So go, but keep your eyes open and be the human your dog thinks you are.

Dika M.

Yelp
We had a great time tonight at Doghouse. They have a good beer, cider and wine/spritzer selection. The venue is outside with tables social distanced with chairs, picnic tables and umbrellas. My two goldendoodles loved it! They made so many new dog and human friends and their was an attendant on staff to monitor the dogs from getting loose when new guests arrived. Jodi, the owner was very personable and welcoming. We learned that they hold trivia on Wednesday nights and we are looking forward to coming back!

Laurene T.

Yelp
Totally worth the drive from Austin for us! Our dog LOVES the Doghouse Drinkery Dog Park. The staff here is amazing, and the park has tons of seating options and lots of shade! The beer prices are totally reasonable and the bar area is great if you want a break from the dog park action. They have lots of water bowls for the dogs and several tubs of water for them to take a dip in and cool off. Highly recommend this place, it's worth the drive if you're worried it's too far!

Amanda P.

Yelp
LOVED IT and the concept is just so cool. It was great to socialize my dogs and relax myself.

Christina H.

Yelp
Dog parents unite!! What I love about Doghouse Drinkery is that there is ample room for your pups to play around in their spacious backyard. What I don't like, is how there aren't many draft beers here. IT'S AUSTIN! The bottled beers are up-priced. If you're wanting bottled beer, just stay at home where you can enjoy your six-pack in peace. It's more cost efficient anyway! The drive just isn't worth it if you're a beer-snob. *NOTE: if your pup is not neutered/spayed, this place is not for you. They have tables in the front of the drinkery, but no play space.

Leta P.

Yelp
Such a great vibe! Bring your dog and grab a drink! Casual hang out for people and their dogs. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, to the pups and to me!

Brooke G.

Yelp
We seriously love this place! This dog park is a bit out of the way for us but is 1000% worth it. There's always a good amount of dogs here but not too much where it's overwhelming for our pup. Always tons of comfortable seating, plenty of shade, and a friendly employee looking after the dogs to make sure they have plenty of water. The dogs here are always very behaved and stay off tables, and play really well. Very laid back, great vibes with ice cold beers/wine and great music. Love that it's a local business and will choose this location over any other!

Sirio B.

Yelp
Out of all the fenced off leash dog parks in Austin this has been my favorite one by a long shot due to it's relaxed, down to earth vibe. We take our dog, a shepherd husky mix called Bianca at least 3-4 times a week. She loves it. What's nice about the Drinkery is the chaperones that keep an eye out for any unruly behavior between the dogs and are on top of it, which gives owners a chance to relax and unwind somewhat. The bar area is awesome too, and the ladies running it are always friendly. Would highly recommend a yearly membership here, which is very reasonably priced. The addition of live music, adoption and food events/cookoffs here makes coming on the weekend even more awesome. The recent BBQ cook off held on site was a ton of fun, and they have occasional rotating food trucks (Urban Lobster was amazing!). It's an awesome gem for any dog owner!

Corey W.

Yelp
Jodi and her staff do a great job of running a safe and fun place four legged friends. The park is always clean and very well maintained. The drinks at the bar are more than fairly priced and there is decent selection as well. My fiancé and I have been members here for 2 years now and will continue to renew our membership year after year

Francesca P.

Yelp
Local location to take your pups and enjoy a beautiful day outside. Beer, wine and TV's to enjoy in an open garage setting with tables. They usually have a food truck on site and have a good venue for outside music performances. The dog yard is kept clean and the owners are great about keeping and overly rowdy dog play in check.

Nika L.

Yelp
Thw owner of this place in not friendly. I have literally stepped out from my car with my toy dog in my hands to see if t his place is suitable for even step on this ground, and the owner run after me with paper in hand demanding to sign the reliability form. I said I am not sure I will be even using this place because my puppy is small and she created a big scene demanding me to leave. And all this happened while I was there literally for less then 2 min.

Ashley E.

Yelp
So glad I found this place, also most genius business ever!! Dog park is well kept and lots of options for seating, shade or sun. I love that there are monitors watching the dogs and there to help with the gate and any dog fights. Tons of space for all the play! My dog had a blast! Definitely will be back soon!

Jason H.

Yelp
I love this place, I've only taken my pup rocky here once but I will definitely be here again. Tons of fun and rocky loved all the dogs here!

Lauren P.

Yelp
Awesome spot to bring your dogs and relax for a bit. Everyone was super nice, the dogs were well behaved and there's beer & wine. Very clean and well attended. This is the only dog park my dog comes to because they ask for proof of vaccination and spay/neuter.

Amy A.

Yelp
Great watering hole for both pop some people. Affordable prices and membership options. Great hours and friendly staff.

Lauren A.

Yelp
Awesome place! Great staff and selection of beers/ciders. Went here on a weekday. Definitely a locals spot! Met some cool people and pups. Tex (our dog) had a fun time. Will return we are in the area!! Pineapple cider was dope too!

Matthew M.

Yelp
Such a rad laid-back treasure. If you live up north it's a must go place for sure. Jody the bartender /manager/whatever is great and very friendly. She's got beers for days and make sure you give her hell for being a Yankees fan! Bring your dog and let them run around while you kick back a few. If you come on Wednesday's they have trivia which is a blast. Music taste is always varied and at a pleasing volume. $5 non member fee for your dog and you can bring two dogs per visit. They tend to have lots of events so check out their website www.doghousedrinkery.com and stay up to date on everything from FREE POOL or dog events. 5 stars. Check it out and tell them MAGBEE sent you!!

Tara R.

Yelp
This is easily the coolest little dog park I've ever come across. Great food feel music blasting, dogs everywhere, toys, hand sanitizer, pools for the dogs to cool off, such a cool vibe at night too. You have to eat food outside of the dog area (but duuuuuh) everyone is so nice. They make sure all dogs are well behaved. Neutered and spayed. In a really pretty woodsy area. Very impressed. Oh also bug spray if needed :)

Kristi W.

Yelp
What an awesome spot!! My 7 yo son wanted his bday party at a dog park since we had recently adopted a shelter bully puppy. We had such a great time in the reserved fenced area in the front. We had shade and picnic table, chairs and some round tables and even tennis balls and water bowls. I could bring anything except drinks as they ask you to purchase their drinks. Kids loved that and the adults did too with the wine and beer list. We had 10 dogs as many kids and about 20 adults and had a blast! Place was so friendly and Jody has a beautiful spot that we'll certainly come back to. My son already wants it there again next year :)

Nancy C.

Yelp
Friendly staff! Good selection of cold beer! Great place to meet new people! Oh, and the mutts love it too, btw. . Music is good, albeit a little loud. Good lord, I'm getting old.

David A.

Yelp
Our babies absolute love this place and we go at least twice a week. The owner, Jodie, is awesome and the park attendants make all the difference. They take the time to get to know your dog and they are very engaged in making sure the dogs have a great time in a safe environment. Plus you can have a few beers while your dogs burn off their energy!! On weekends they have food trucks in the parking lot and really encourage a community environment. Truly one of a kind!!

Meghan T.

Yelp
We love this place! Great events! Amazing environment for both the dogs and the owners! Our favorite dog park! The bark rangers are great too!

Ryan F.

Yelp
Best place ever. If you like to run around and your dog likes to relax and grab a few beers while you socialize this is the place for you.

Samantha B.

Yelp
We come to Doghouse every week, and we don't even have a dog! XD (yet) this is because the vibes and the atmosphere of Doghouse is welcoming and relaxing. The owner Jodie is amazing, she will always take care of you and always looks forward to welcoming new pups and owners to the park! Swing on by, you (and your dog) will not be disappointed.

Dale C.

Yelp
We love this place. The instant hot chocolate may not be the best but what it lacks in this area is more than compensated for by the very friendly staff and patrons. My dog love it! Huge fenced in area, plenty of parking, and such great dogs. My Golden falls for a new bestie every time we go. Everyone is so nice. Hope to meet you and your dog there!

Elyse D.

Yelp
Even if you don't drink it's an awesome place to bring your dog because there is someone to help monitor dog behavior! The bar is also fabulous! (Beer and wine) The owner is the best! She is there pretty all the time. Everyone is super friendly!

Amanda P.

Yelp
Man oh man! There are not enough words for this place. Everyone there, both patrons and workers, are soooo nice- always cracking jokes and making small talk; the kind of folks that naturally give off warm vibes that make you feel like you're in your own backyard. There are cute little table/chair setups throughout the yard and surprisingly enough I've never seen a pile of poop! I still can't believe it, haha. Either everyone is very courteous of their dog's waste or this place monitors poo like a hawk, however it rolls, it's a super clean establishment. I hate that I live in South Austin as it takes me almost an hour to get here, BUT it's worth it every time. You guys are the best! :)

April H.

Yelp
My dog and I absolutely love this place! Everyone is so friendly and the play time is great.

Elyse L.

Yelp
This is by far the most fun and well kept dog park I have ever been to. It's an added bonus that you can drink here as well! Previous parks we visited were free and sometimes well kept, sometimes not since a few owners don't bother to pick up after their dogs. Another problem we've had are people by the gates who don't pay attention and have let our dogs out before off leash which caused some tension. Neither of these will ever be issues here. They have staff members on poop duty and also someone who stands guard over the gate. Their rule is no leashes until dogs are out of the park and into the holding area, and then you leash them there before they open the main gate. They are strict about these rules which I appreciate because it keeps everyone held to the same standards. It's $5 per dog to get in, but we signed up yesterday to become members for a year which was $35 a person. I don't remember what it is regularly but they had a special going on and to us it's well worth it because our girls (and us too!) had a total blast. We came at 10:30am for a husky meet up and had the whole place to ourselves for an hour and a half because they didn't open until noon. There were so many huskies that we wanted to lean back and crowd surf into them. And puppies too! My crazy dog lady ovaries were doing back flips. Both the owners we met and the staff were incredibly kind. We ended up staying 3 hours and didn't even realize it because it was so nice to talk to owners with similar issues as us having the same breed. The drinks are reasonably priced too. We sipped on mimosa's most of the morning and they served them in large plastic 12 oz glass. Yes, thank you! I think they were $5-6 each, but it's twice the amount you get as opposed to paying that for one champagne flute. I saw they had beers too but I myself didn't step into the bar (hubs brought me my drinks), so I can't say for sure what all they have. Another member told me that sometimes they have beer distributors come out and live music so I can't wait for that. They also have plenty of shaded areas to sit while the dogs play which is fantastic. Our girls came home happy and slept all afternoon. We are so glad we found this park!

Yelp
We love the doghouse drinkery! We bring our two dogs here a couple times a week to run around with other pups and get energy out while we socialize too! Cheap drinks, laid-back, fun atmosphere, and right up against pretty trees and greenery. They have staff working to make sure no dog fights break out, and to keep the place secure as people come in and out of the park. The owner is lovely!!! She's usually behind the bar, be sure to say hi!

Have only been once. Will def make the trip back in the cooler months. Good space. Nice seating/shade. Pug enjoyed it. Plenty of parking. Beers were $4-5ish.
