Dogfish Inn

Place is absolutely amazing. 10 out of 10 will be returning with my family. Fire pit for the kids and they sell little smores kits inside. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Beautiful views, right in the heart of town, stretch your legs and take a little walk, or hop on one of their complimentary bikes and go for a little ride. Not far from the beach and state park. Also the hostess can assist you with dinner reservations at dogfish eats or help you schedule a tour of the brewery.

Super friendly staff. Really cool check in area with cozy fireplace area comfy chairs and specialty coffee and regular coffee free. Love that they let you use beach towels and chairs and have bikes available. The beds were so comfy and cushy towels. We loved the location. Close to town and the beach. Will definitely stay here again

We absolutely love the Dogfish Inn. Even before you get there the service and experience start. They reach out to you via text and email to make sure everything is set for your stay. They offer upgrades before to get there. For this stay we were even “pixie dusted” with welcome magnets on our door wishing us a Happy Anniversary. They have everything you could want for your dog. The rooms are so comfortable with everything you could want. The showers are INCREDIBLE! I could go on and on about how much we love it there and all the services they provide.

Truly, truly the best. For the only hotel really in the heart of Lewes, I was expecting the atmosphere to be subpar due to a lack of competition...instead, Dogfish Inn operates like they WANT to be your favorite (they certainly became mine!). Incredibly friendly staff, adorable gift shop, super cool room layout. Loved the surprise quirks like the drink holder in the shower; room was very clean and smelled great. Everything is so well thought-out and intentional, so you truly feel like a valued guest. So worth it and will absolutely return!

Can't say enough nice things about the Dogfish Inn. From the moment our family arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly, hospitable and helpful. The rooms were very clean and the beds were super comfortable. We were able to walk and bike everywhere we wanted to go to include local trails, beaches, parks and restaurants. We will definitely be planning a future trip back in the future. Cheers!

Perfect Getaway at the Dogfish Inn 🐾 We had the most incredible stay at the Dogfish Inn! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel completely welcome—they were not only friendly and accommodating, but also full of great local tips for things to do and places to go that weren’t packed with people. It made exploring the area feel a little more personal and off-the-beaten-path, which we loved. The room itself was a dream—the bed was hands-down the most comfortable hotel bed we’ve ever slept on. After a day of adventures, sinking into those sheets felt like heaven. As dog parents, we especially appreciated how truly dog-friendly the inn is. Our pup Phoebe had the time of her life—plenty of space to sniff, stretch, and relax. It’s rare to find a place where dogs aren’t just allowed, but genuinely welcomed. The hangout area beside the inn was another highlight—a peaceful little spot to unwind, sip a drink, and chat with other guests or just enjoy the quiet. And the s’mores kits? Such a sweet, nostalgic touch. Roasting marshmallows under the stars was the perfect way to end the day. All in all, the Dogfish Inn felt like a cozy, thoughtful, and fun home away from home. We’re already talking about when we can come back!

Everything about this place is awesome! The staff is the best, very accommodating and extremely knowledgeable about things to do. The rooms are, most importantly, clean, updated, and very hip—tons of amenities. Don’t forget to arrange electric bikes (they’ll take you out on the tour if you’re not super confident regarding the area and bike life). There are so many awesome experiences that are just a short ride away. The location, you can’t beat it—it’s just a half block off the main strip, a very short ride to the beach, and walking distance to bars, restaurants, and other attractions. Love it! I’ll be bringing the whole family in the near future.
