Nonprofit Concrete Jungle Is Hosting a Weed Dating Event at Doghead Farm in Southwest Atlanta | Eater Atlanta
"This Sylvan Hills farm serves as the nonprofit’s headquarters and operates on roughly a half-acre plot where volunteers cultivate fruit trees and seasonal crops to feed local families. It hosts regular volunteer days (every other Thursday and Saturday) and special community-oriented events like a “weed and greet,” combining group gardening (with volunteers rotating among trios) and socializing, with donated refreshments and ticket proceeds directed to fresh-produce distribution." - Beth McKibben
The concept behind Concrete Jungle is admirable. However, the management and communication are sorely lacking.

I was doing my Christian activities in a neighborhood near by. Heard about this place that helps the homeless
I think all neighborhoods should have a community garden to help those in need.
