This place is absolutely amazing! I’m so glad I stumbled upon it. The staff was so amazing and friendly as well. We enjoyed talking with Erin one of the employees and participating in the self-guided winetasting. We got to taste six different wines of our choice and then at the end, we decided to do an additional glass with her favorite. I really loved the Carlos white wine as well as as the saros and red wine. The owner, Sam was so friendly and made sure that we were having an enjoyable time. I will definitely be back and will let anyone know about this place! Such a beautiful spot.

Doghobble Winery absolutely blew me away. The property is gorgeous — even at night, the building glows with warm light and feels so inviting against the dark North Georgia sky. The views here are truly unmatched and create the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing, memorable visit. The wine was phenomenal, and every staff member we interacted with was genuinely kind, welcoming, and happy to have us there. After experiencing a few nearby wineries that closed early or felt a bit cold, Doghobble was a breath of fresh air. I especially appreciated that they stayed open later — it made us feel valued instead of rushed. The food was just as impressive as the wine. The charcuterie board was beautifully put together with a great variety of cheeses, meats, crackers, fruit, and spreads. The bruschetta was fresh and delicious, and the pizza was one of the highlights of the whole visit — perfectly cooked, great flavor, and the ideal pairing with a glass of red. Doghobble Winery is the perfect mix of breathtaking views, amazing wine, friendly service, and outstanding food. I’m already excited to come back. Highly, highly recommend!

Absolutely fantastic place! Had a wonderful time there today, enjoying the peace and beautiful autumn scenery. We met the owner by chance and he could not have been lovelier. All the staff were wonderful and their adorable farm animals steal the show! The Fall Cider Spritz and empanadas were fresh and delicious It’s almost like two experiences in one; Trellis tasting room is beautiful and classy, without being pretentious, with views of the vineyard and mountains in the distance that are just so picturesque. Then there is the Pavilion which is outdoors with beautiful views of the gorgeous scenery as well as sheep, goats, and an alpaca! The space is large and inviting with plenty of chairs and seating areas. We will definitely be back! Thank you!

Really beautiful grounds with lots of interesting land history, llamas, sheep and donkey. Plenty of room for a party,wedding. Great outside area with FIREPLACE too. Just overall cool place to stop for a great glass of wine order the Saros. Owner is an awesome guy. spends time with you ❤️. Ultra modern tasting area, really classy!

Very comfortable environment to enjoy a glass of wine next to a warm fireplace. Many excellent wines and friendly staff. Prices by the glass are similar to other wineries in the area Bottles are reasonably priced. Nice outdoor patio areas for warmer days. Will definitely be back.

We enjoyed our first time visit at Doghobble Wine Farm. They have indoor and outdoor seating. We decided to sit outdoors under their pavilion. There are also tables and chairs out on the lawn. We got the sweet wine flight, a slushie, and empanadas. The sweet wine flight and slushie were really good. We got the caprese empanada and beef empanada. I can not stress enough how amazing the beef empanadas tasted. The winery had a quiet, relaxing vibe.

The wine was exceptional, the food was absolutely impeccable, and both the indoor and outdoor spaces created the perfect backdrop to relax, savor, and enjoy meaningful moments. Watching the owner and his family work so hard—yet still take the time to mingle with every guest—made us feel like we genuinely belonged there. Their warmth, hospitality, and passion for what they do shine through in every detail. They made my birthday extra special workout overwhelming if! Doghobble isn’t just a vineyard; it’s an experience of community, comfort, and unforgettable flavors. We can’t wait to return.

We had an incredible experience visiting this winery. The wine was truly remarkable — some of the best we’ve had in the area. Each bottle had unique and memorable flavors that stood out, and despite being a young winery, their wines already surpass many established ones nearby. The service was fantastic, and having the chance to hear their story directly from the owners made the visit even more special. You can feel the passion behind everything they do. Five stars all around! We visited this winery for the first time yesterday, and will definitely return for several reasons: Atmosphere: They have really nice seating inside and outside under the porch, and then under the pavilion and outside by the pasture. Even though there were a lot of people when we went, seating was plentiful. Although they didn't have live music, we liked the music playing on the sound system--loud enough to hear, but soft enough that we could make conversation. They have a pasture with sheep and donkeys--so beautiful, and I fell in love with one of the friendly brown sheep. Service: The service is over the top friendly, even when busy. Marcus gave us splashes until we found a couple of wines we preferred, and was very knowledgeable. All of the servers we encountered were very friendly. Wines: My husband found a red he liked (Malbec) and I found a white I liked (Carlo). We prefer glasses rather than tastings, so didn't try the others (except for the splashes that Marcus offered). Food: YES! So many wineries lack when it comes to food (serving pre-made junk), but they have a full kitchen and now a master chef, and their food was delicious (my husband got the empanadas and I got the pizza). Owners: We got to know Sam and Robin, the owners, who were so friendly and gracious. They have worked hard to create not only a great winery, but a great experience for their customers. They told us they are having some upcoming dinner events, so we'll be sure to check one out in the near future.

What a beautiful winery! Come here for the beautiful scenery, and enjoy the wine while you're here. The outdoor seating area is expansive, with a variety of seating and tables in both the sun or shade. We came for a tasting and had a good experience overall. For flights, we had our choice from a few pre-determined options, and they each came with a sheet underneath the glasses to denote each wine, and a tasting sheet. The guy who prepared our flights was friendly and helpful.

Beautiful designed winery with friendly staff and delish wine options. Pizza onsite is yummy as well. Highly recommend to add to your winery tour of north Georgia .

Flights are more expensive than I'm used to. I don't remember exactly but it was around $30 for 4 pours from their preselected options. Wine was good overall but none were a must have to buy a bottle. Service was good. The indoor room was still being finished and not open yet. The outdoor area has ceiling fans and a nice view.

Beautiful new property with a farm as well. The wine was great and they had a wide variety of whites and reds. They even had some beer to choose from as well as food. My only complaint is they said the inside is for 21+ and the outdoor pavilion is for kids. We had a 3 month old with us and had to sit out under the hot pavilion. From a nurse perspective - babies cannot regulate their temperature and should be allowed inside as they are not disruptive and cannot run around. Even with the shade, outdoor fans, and our fan, my baby was still hot in the Georgia heat. I can understand the rule for toddlers who run around and may get into things, and may enjoy the animals on the farm outside anyways, but not babies. The staff was very friendly to try to make up for the rule but it still was a bit restrictive given the circumstance.

The location and vibe is great. The wine is just terrible. We wanted to like it but on our tour of vineyards in the area these were just not enjoyable at all. We did not try food, just sampled 6 wines for almost $40 most were tossed, could not drink.

Wine slushies are the best!! The red one is better than the white in my opinion. Owners are very nice and great atmosphere have been going here a few years and always recommend it

Service and atmosphere was outstanding - but only found one wine that we liked (bought a bottle to take home) and another that was ok (but not enough to buy a bottle). The rest were pretty average. The new tasting room is fantastic and Becca was great server - even kept me from buying wrong bottle when I I picked wrong one from my tasting list. Great place for a get together and a chill time with friends

We love this beautiful winery, a fantastic new addition to the North Georgia wine scene. The design is stunning--both cozy and modern--and there are excellent seating options indoors and out. The wine selection is diverse and very good, and the owners and staff are wonderful, genuinely enhancing the overall experience. Don't miss this one on your winery tour!

Nestled in North Georgia's wine country, Doghobble Wine Farm has an amazing atmosphere, delicious wine, and incredible service. No matter what the weather, this is a great place to visit with a covered area and fireplaces. While we were there, the owner and multiple staff checked in on us and were very knowledgeable and passionate. This is a wonderful locally owned business to support. It is an approachable winery where I could genuinely hang out all day.

I don't like muscadine wine very much but I tried it here and it was too bad, just very sweet. The place is cute with all the animals but my friend did get stung. They have signs advertising warnings but how can we prevent that? Bathrooms were nice but only two stalls so kind of a wait

Friendly, engaging staff. Nice place to get a bottle and sit with my wife. We don't have food and aren't sure there is some normally. I'll saw a good truck so maybe sometimes.

We had a great time at this winery. The people were so friendly, the wines were delicious (our favorite was Norton) and we got to play with the animals! Our kids absolutely had a blast, we came back twice! Thanks for a great experience!

Good wine Quant place, farm atmosphere and pleanty of room to sit out and relax and talk.. live sheep goats and lamas to watch while you enjoy a glass of wine. A must stop on your trip in the area.

The wines were fun the staff were amazing and went above and beyond. Even got a tour from the owner who showed us the remodeling they were finishing in the previous barn! Amazing pictures to be taken here the landscape is beautiful!

I've been watching Doghobble Wine Farm develop over the last year as it's on the way to visit my parents, admiring the perfectly straight vineyard trellis and wildflower-covered hillside, and I finally had the chance to drop in. The parking is convenient, and the walk to the pavilion is gentle, beautiful signage, passing by a building in the process of renovation as I imagine for future use. The outdoor seating area is spacious, with a grassy lawn overlooking a wooded area where you can spot sheep, alpacas, and other farm animals in the distance. The staff and owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming. I arrived at 6pm, hadn't had dinner, and enjoyed a delicious empanada paired with an easy-drinking red wine that Nathan recommended (I've forgotten the name, but I hope to have it again next time!). I also had a sip of the Carlos Muscadine white, which was really nice, as I love sweet wine, but the red suited the beef empanada perfectly. I picked up some fresh sourdough and olive oil from a food truck on-site (Blue Bench Bakery & Garden) and shared it with another solo visitor. The highlight of the evening was an adorable sheep who had wandered away from its flock and mingled with us for a moment, adding a charming, unexpected touch. My only regret is that I forgot to take pictures. Overall, it was a wonderful experience! I look forward to returning soon and was glad they had later hours so I could enjoy an evening at their lovely farm. I'd love to see them expand their offerings at my own farm venue Mountain Laurel Farm on ALT 75 going toward Helen. ;)

Congrats on opening! I would view it as a soft launch as much of the property is still under construction. Good ambiance. Attentive owners. White flight was honestly not bad; on the pricier side; red flight can use more work. Cheers for using local grapes. Good luck and look forward to see this place succeed in the future.

Really nice winery in the north Georgia mountains. My wife and I stopped by after a waterfall hike and tried their white wine flight. All were really good. We'll definitely plan for more time on our next visit!

Super friendly upon walking up to the outdoor venue . Gave us a full rundown of everything and a few tastes. We decided on the white flight- it was great. We snacked on some food and it was great . So much fun today !

We stumbled across this hidden gem by accident and it turned out to be the loveliest surprise. Where do we begin. We were greeted by Sam (the owner)'s adorable sweet dogs, and Sam and staff who were all so kind and hospitable. The ambiance is cozy with outdoor seating, fire pits, fire places, seating in the woods w Christmas lights- it feels like you're on a glamping trip with your closest friends. It also happens to be a working farm so they have donkeys, sheep, alpacas!, and goats you can visit. They had the most delicious seasonal frozen drink - caramel apple I believe? That embodied hygge in a cup, yummy empanadas, and to top it all off, eco friendly cutlery which I so much appreciated. If you get the chance, don't miss this stop if you're passing through northern Georgia!

We came after reading the great reviews and although the place is beautiful, the service was lovely and the people were very personable, we didnt find it cozy and overall it just wasnt to our liking. Also, we didnt enjoy any of the wine tastings at all. We usually go to 3 different wineries for tastings when we drive up here so this was our first time here. We loved wines at the other places so much more that we left and circled back to our previous place to enjoy everybody's faves. I will add that it's really beautiful here and I love the nice customer restrooms outside. Nice to walk around and see the animals too.

This is a winery with big potential. They have an amazing space, great wine, and hands on owners that give it an awesome atmosphere. Love the locally sourced grapes for their wines too!

Since there are eight wineries in the area, Dahlonega is known as the heart of Georgia's wine country. Three factors distinguish the wineries from each other: the quality of the wine, the atmosphere, and the service. Doghobble is a relatively new winery to the area but it has all three. I travel from Birmingham, AL to Dahlonega monthly, and Doghobble is a regular stop. Doghobble is almost invisible from Town Creek Church Road and that's one of its attractions. Once you crest the hill, you are greeted by Doghobble with it's wooded acreage. The hill top dampens the noise from the road contributing to a relaxing atmosphere. Doghobble's wines are excellent, rich, and flavorful. And the service is first class. After purchasing a bottle, Sam, the owner, joined us at our table where we enjoyed learning about Doghobble and exchanging tales about the previous owner of the land. During the conversation, I commented about the work ethic of the staff. They were very attentive to detail. One employee was carefully wiping all the menus and trays to ensure they were clean and ready to be presented to the next customer. When a customer ordered more glasses than they could carry, the staff was quick to offer assistance carrying the glasses and wine to the table. When customers departed, the staff quickly cleared the table, ready for the next customer. Whenever I visit Doghobble, I enjoy myself and depart feeling relaxed from the experience.

Wonderful family run vineyard. Knowledgeable staff, very friendly and relaxing atmosphere. Give thus nee vineyard a try, you won't be disappointed!

Outstanding tasting area. New winery in area, amazing setting, seating, venue, and staff. Also has some food options outside of just charcuterie unlike other local wineries, empanadas are outstanding. Staff is phenomenal, patient, and completely accommodating. This place will only continue to grow and get better with the quality of service, wine, and food currently offered. 5/5 stars cannot recommend enough! Perfect place for a date, going out with the girls/boys, or a hangout with your family!
