Google
Dok Bua Thai Kitchen was a great find! I ordered takeout for some folks at the office this week and we all really enjoyed it. The food was hot and packed beautifully, and every dish was really tasty! I especially loved how crispy the spring rolls were. Food pictured: 1) Pad Thai Noodle with Chicken 2) Scallion Pancakes 3) Crispy Thai Spring Rolls Not pictured are the excited expressions on all of my coworkers’ faces when the came into the break room and smelled what was for lunch. 100% would recommend!

Google
I have been going there since 20+ years ago. Hands down the best Thai food here in the US. I no longer live in the MA area but go back to Dok Bua every single time I am back in MA. Food is too good!!! Authentic flavor too! My only “complaint” (not quite a complaint) is that they no longer take my VIP card (10% off) that I had signed up for and kept for the past 20 years. I kept the card with me and took it every time I visited. 🤪

Food: Crispy Shrimp Spring roll; Crab Rangoon; Mango Fried Rice with Shrimp (Stir-fried rice with mango, egg, onion, green onion) Ambiance: Casual and spacious venue. Parking: Street meter parking is available. Pricing: Fair. Food (flavors): The cream cheese filling in the crab rangoon was sweet and very enjoyable, but I did not like the somewhat large chunks of onion and green onion in the crab rangoon. I wish they cut those ingredients smaller so that the flavors could blend better. The crispy Shrimp spring rolls were light and crispy. I expected for it to have veggies in it but it was just Shrimp. The dipping sauce was amazing and added a lot of flavor. It was sweet and had a thick honey like consistency. The mango rice was somewhat flavorless aside from the mango chunks. I expected it to be the sweet and salty dish, but it wasn't. It's as if the oil was the flavoring. It tasted better once I requested soy sauce to add to it though. I wish the mango was integrated into the dish better. I wish all the other ingredients were integrated into the dish better. Portion size: Large For more reviews, please follow my IG food page @fave_foodie

Google
Dok Bua provides such Great service, whether take-out or eat-in. Easy to locate with ample street parking. Their menu has such great options and the food is always delicious! Come by to enjoy their nicely spaced layout and look forward to eating there again!

Google
I have made 2 visits to Dok Bua so far and definitely plan on making more! I really enjoyed the dinner special. It came with rice, spring rolls, Tom yum soup, and something else deep fried which I have no clue what it was. Tom yum soup was delicious but I probably would have preferred a salad or some other veggie than 2 deep fried appetizers. You also choose an entree as well. Absolutely love the variety which the lunch and dinner specials offer. Especially great if you like eating a little bit of everything! Otherwise full size entrees are still fairly affordable.

Google
pretty good; portions are generous. food tasted on par with what was to be expected. personally i like my tom yum to be more sour and spicier, though. next time i think i'll ask to see if that's possible.

Google
Delicious food with so many choices. The appetizer plate shown below was excellent! Wonderful service from a very friendly and helpful staff. I have eaten Thai food all over the country and I was very happy at this restaurant tonight.

Good portions and lots of different options to create a great lunch. Glass noodles with crispy chicken, veggies, and spring rolls is delicious. Pricing isn’t bad as well.

Yelp
Dining method: Takeout (DoorDash) Speed: On time! (Per DoorDash app) Items ordered: Veggie Pad Thai The short answer: Full of flavor with tons of options for everyone, Dok Bua really impressed! This is a great option for Thai food in Brookline. The long answer: Dok Busa really delivered! My friends got one more Veggie Pad Thai and one Duck Noodle Soup, and both loved it (we're seasoned Thai food consumers). The veggie Pad Thai came with fried tofu, and way fewer veggies than expected. (Would recommend ordering extra!) Nevertheless, the taste was great and cooking seemed high-quality. Vegetarians: I'd request no fish sauce when ordering, as its presence was unclear.

Yelp
A spacious, authentic Thai restaurant with a family feel and ambiance located conveniently in Brookline. There is neighborhood parking and paid street parking in the area. I ordered the beef noodle soup, and was surprised by how tender and juicy the beef was. The broth was light and flavorful. They were generous with the portions of protein, and I was left content and full after my meal. Fairly priced for how much food you get. No complaints about service, it was a slow dinner and they took my order fairly quickly after I was sat. Food came quick too! Overall a decent spot in Brookline.

Yelp
Sone of the best pad see ew I've ever had!!! I will say last time I went here I got the drunken noodles which I wouldn't recommend, but their pad see ew is amazing. And the staff is so sweet too!

Yelp
Journeyman 15$ dinner special-- one dish centered on red curry and tofu, the other on crispy chicken. An entree, tom yum soup, some fried spring roles and rice. It reminds me of the Cambridge Indian restaurants of decades ago that had similar 'specials' served in these multi-compartmented dishes. I thought those restaurants were great--- until I actually tasted proper Indian food, fresh spices, complex and piquant sauces, and the way that cumin seed can have 5 different flavors... This was that thai food. mild, middle of the road, good if you hadn't known better. Hungry, it fueled the engine. But I'll be giving it a wide berth and a pass. Even fast home-cooked red curry, readily laps this car.

Yelp
Crispy breaded chicken atop crispy and savory rice. A fulfilling meal after a long days work. After each satisfying bite, one can feel the energy returning to their body. The meal was complemented perfectly by a Thai Iced tea. Sweet and savory, hot and cold mixed perfectly to make a refreshing and delectable meal.

Ajith J.

Yelp
We stopped by for dinner. They had a special going on and it was amazing. The Tom yum soup that comes with the dinner special was off the charts easily the best I've ever had. The egg rolls and dumplings were a perfect touch. The food was amazing. The service was great as was the ambience. I also had a pina colada bubble tea which was phenomenal.

Yelp
Dok Bua Thai Kitchen serves amazing Thai classics and is definitely worth checking out if you're in the Brookline neighborhood. My girlfriend and I came here on a Friday night right before their dinner rush (6:00pm ish). The restaurant itself is unassuming with a large dining area and tables distributed in a covid era style. We ordered Tom yum soup with chicken, massaman curry, pad Thai chicken, and some fried chicken wings. For all the pad thai snobs out there, Dok Bua serves a more nutty style and less sweet and sour pad thai, which I absolutely prefer. It's not overly doused in sugar, and it has a great nutty flavor. The massaman curry came with plenty of potatoes, which is always a plus. The Tom yum soup was our appetizer, and it could certainly be an entree on itself own if you're not that hungry. Overall very excellent and pleasant dining experience! Street parking is hard to find but definitely worth it!

Yelp
The pineapple fried rice with tofu at Dok Bua Thai Kitchen is one of my favorites! I love the balance of savory, sweetness, and curry seasoning. It also has a good proportion of rice to tofu and pineapple. Other Thai places will put too much rice, but there was a perfect amount of other ingredients. I like the texture of the tofu on the inside, too! It's almost like real meat. While I usually like the texture of the pineapple, this time I had it, it seemed like it was old and soggy and not as fresh as usual. Regardless, I still love this dish, and I can't wait to come back for more!

Yelp
BEST THAI FOOD IN BOSTON!!! This has been my go-to for delivery since the pandemic because of their reasonable prices in addition to great tasting food. This is the only Thai place in Boston I've seen do Pad See Ew right (not soggy!!!). I recently came here in person and they have an awesome dinner special for about $14 (pictured). So much food and so worth it!! They also have great crab Rangoon (not pictured because we ate it too fast)

Yelp
I ordered the pepper beef over rice and bubble Thai iced tea w/ no ice. I take the Thai iced tea out of the take-out bag and see it only half filled. No, none spilled out because that is what I originally assumed. They purposely filled it half way to compensate for not having ice in the drink. Really guys? How much money are you really saving by filling it half way when I paid full price for it? Is it worth it to save a few cents to lose a customer? To top it off, they don't even use tapioca pearls in their drinks. It's some weird crunchy jelly texture shaped as tapioca pearls. As for the rice dish, the beef was extremely chewy and barely edible. Granted the flavor was good, but I still couldn't finish the dish because the beef was very rubbery. Didn't receive any plastic ware or napkins for a take-out order, you would think it would be common practice to include it. Surprised I got a straw for my drink. This place wreaks of stinginess. This was my first time trying this place and I could have been a dedicated customer to them, but they fell extremely short and failed. I won't be coming back nor recommending this place to anyone.

Yelp
Every time we frequent this restaurant (which we've lost count of the years), it never loses its very friendly customer service and the flavors of the dishes we have come to love to return to time and time again. It's also BYOB! The moo-yang, which is grilled pork marinated in Thai herbs, is an appetizer not to be overlooked. Very flavorful and you may want to order a second helping! We have been ordering the yum-pla-muk salad (a squid salad) for its refreshing and spicy goodness. If you've never ordered this, definitely worth a try! The eggplant with chili and basil veggie entrée is one of those dishes that's although maybe simple when read on the menu, is extremely tasty and creamy with a bit of kick. If you're looking for a curry, any in the menu with be more to your liking, specifically the massaman, pineapple and mango. And if you enjoy duck as much as I do, go for the crispy duck with red curry!

Jess B.

Yelp
This is my go-to Thai place now- absolutely stellar food! I've gotten take out both times- first was drunken noodles, papaya salad and green curry and this time was the MaMa soup. I ordered "spicy" papaya salad and it was the real deal with the green chili peppers- be careful!

Food E.

Yelp
Spacious casual restaurant, that could use some sprucing up, it definitely looks tired. The menu is huge and decently priced and the food is good. The dinner special comes with soup and two appetizers along with your chosen main entree and rice which is a nice option for variety.

Kimberly W.

Yelp
If you're looking for Thai in Brookline, Dok Bua Thai Kitchen hits the spot! My favorite Thai dish is Rad-Nar so I get very excited when I see it on the menu. I always like to say, when I find it on the menu, it's a LEGIT Thai restaurant. I went here with friends visiting from out of town and we ordered a nice variety: curry, rad-nar, crispy chicken, and a dinner special with pineapple fried rice. It wasn't busy so it allowed us to have good conversation and not feel too rushed. Space wise, it's a big restaurant and there's potential to spruce things up!

Sophia X.

Yelp
Their lunch special prices are pretty nifty, I'll give them that. However, the taste of the food was kind of subpar. I got the pad see ew lunch special and you get to select two sides. I opted for the spring roll and a coconut milk soup. The fried spring roll was cold on the inside, and the pad see ew was salty but not very flavorful. It was also lacking a bit in quantity- I got more vegetables and meat than actual noodles. Service was nice and quick though!

Franklin Z.

Yelp
I love how many options Dok Bua has on their menu. They really have a variety of dishes and even have dinner specials where you get to try a few things like an egg roll, soup, rice, and a main entree within a reasonable price (less than $11). I ordered the Indonesian Fried Rice, which was seriously so flavorful. The rice was flavored with this spicy&sweet sauce that distinguished it from a regular fried rice that you get typically. The rice had a slight sticky consistency to it as well. On top of the rice, it was covered with crispy chicken which was as crispy as the name implies! Loved my dish I ordered - you can't go wrong with the Indonesian Fried Rice. In addition, one of their best selling points is how it's BYOB (bring your own beer) with no extra charge. It's a very casual vibe. Because of this, my friends and I were able to bring our own Trader Joe's wine and still enjoy the food here. Like I was saying, the menu is long and there were so many other items like their Pad Thai, Tom Yum soup, or Thai beef noodle soup that I'd like to come back for! Definitely one of my current favorite Thai places in Boston now.

Dick K.

Yelp
Amazing! $9.95 for a Incredible pad Thai, and a luscious Tom Tum (sweet and sour) soup. Plus a clean salad. My wife had a Thai salad, and the peanut dressing was so good, I drank it like soup! ( maybe that's why I'm #250) lol. Hey as a kid I remember this large kind of square store. These people have done a great job at bringing it to life from back in the day..

Kim M.

Yelp
Had the best Thai takeout from Dok Bua that I am itching to try a sit down meal there too! What caught my interest is how vast their menu is. Got Moo Yang - this flavorful saucy grilled pork - and Chicken Rice Soup to start. Both of these were delicious and signaled great things for our entrees. I got the Yum Woon San Salad because it's my way of eating healthy (it's a salad...made of noodles!). Ground pork, shrimp, peanuts, chili sauce & lime - what's not to love. The Boy got the Chicken Fried Rice Dinner Special & he loved. If you spend a certain amount you have your choice of a free app or another (grubhub) too so that was nice. 10/10 will be eating Dok Bua again!

Erin K.

Yelp
I would give 4.5 stars. Flavor wise, this place is a top contender for fast Thai food (distinct from sit down Thai food). Price is on the higher side for fast Thai food. Food I've tried: (* = my favorite) - Note the prices are uber eats prices, which may be more elevated than eating at the restaurant. - TAPIOCA BALLS WITH MINCED PORK* ($13): I don't know what I was expecting, but these were absolutely delicious. They are almost like mochi but with meat inside. The tapioca exterior is thinner than regular mochi, but nicely chewy. The inside meat is sweet and salty, and the ground peanuts adds a beautiful crunchiness. Since they are fried, they are on the heavier side. This order came with 8 tapioca balls, and given the heaviness I definitely could not finish all 8 at once. Objectively, they do come covered with a sheen of oil so perhaps not the healthiest, but despite my heart's objections my taste buds were very happy. - PED KROB (CRISPY DUCK)* ($27) + RICE ($2): the duck was not overly dry nor salty. The outside batter was thick but light. I really enjoyed the sauce that came with the duck. It was sweet and tangy, and well seasoned. My only thing about this menu was that it doesn't come with rice, and there is an additional $2 for rice. $27 is a very decent amount of money to pay for a duck dish that is quite comparable to nice sit down restaurants, and I felt that they could have included the rice which is not very expensive to include. The jasmine rice itself was not mushy and it was well cooked. - PAD THAI WITH CRISPY CHICKEN ($15): very standard dish, what you would expect. Atmosphere: - I cannot comment on this as I ordered take out. Service: - I cannot comment on this as I ordered take out. Overall: - Purely for the flavor and with an unlimited budget, it is a restaurant that pulls me back if I was really craving fast Thai food. However, for the portions I got the price is on the higher side. So I ultimately gave it 4.5 stars, as I will hesitate for just a second before returning to wonder "Do I really want this at the moment?"

Lauren G.

Yelp
Dok Bua is a staple of the neighborhood! I regularly order take out and I love taking friends to eat in the restaurant for a casual dinner. The menu has something for everyone, and the staff is always friendly and courteous.

Carolyn L.

Yelp
One of my favorite Thai restaurants! The menu is extensive, with pages of various dishes and dinner specials. The dinner specials are $11, which comes with soup, dumplings, and egg rolls. When I order the dinner special, I ask to substitute the dumplings and egg rolls for more tom yum soup. For appetizers, I always order their crab rangoons! It's creamy and perfectly crispy. I usually order either the Pad Kee Mow or Pad see ew with beef. The Pad Kee Mow (drunken noodles) are not too spicy but has a kick. The portions are huge and well worth the price. I've been coming back for years, and it is always delicious.

Libby B.

Yelp
Not a bad place for thai food, but not the best. I ordered the edamame, which didn't have much flavor or saltiness, the gyoza which were supposed to be pan seared but very soft and soggy by the time I ate them. The spring rolls weren't bad though. The chicken fried rice wasn't good but there were barely any eggs in it which is my favorite part. My friend got the dumplings, which were interesting and the chicken low mein which was just strips of grilled chicken on top of the noodles. If I were to order from here again I would possibly just do the fried rice and ask for more egg.

Nicole R.

Yelp
This is a great option for dinner in Brookline. I've been here twice and both times had the dinner special ($11.95) with different entrees. The dinner special comes with rice, three small crispy spring rolls, two pork dumplings, and Tom Yum soup (hot and sour soup with chicken and mushrooms). The portions make a perfectly satisfying meal. The first time I came here I had the mango curry, a yellow curry with mango chunks and vegetables. The sauce was an excellent balance of sweet and spicy. The portions of mango and vegetables were generous. I would definitely order this again. The second time I ordered the dinner special with Pad Thai. I wasn't as satisfied with this meal, but it was still good. My main issue with the Pad Thai is that the sauce was too sweet. I prefer my Pad Thai to be more savory (and have more ground peanuts on top). I don't think I would order this again, but I'd be willing to try another one of their noodle dishes. Service is consistently friendly, fast, and attentive. No parking lot but since it's Brookline you can find street parking pretty easily.

Lexi F.

Yelp
This is my go-to delivery spot. My favorites are the yellow curry, friend crispy chicken over rice or pad thai, and chinese broccoli. I try to limit my takeout so when i do order in it's a treat. The food tastes fresh and flavorful. The price point and portion size make sense and I will keep my door dash set to Dok Bua being a top restaurant for me!

Argy B.

Yelp
Long ago a decent restaurant. I have to assume other reviewers don't know what real thai food and good service is if they think this is worthy of 4-5 stars. I've seen the service, food, and general cleanliness/hygiene of the place go down the tubes, especially in the last 3-4 years. Nothing distinguishes this place from any other rundown, low-budget restaurant. Gave it another shot last weekend after 2 years off. No change. One waitress in the place, taking phone orders for 10 minutes after I sat down. She tossed a menu on the table and left, had to wait 10 minutes to get her attention again (and of course, 10 minutes for her to bring the check in the end). Not a single service check, although there was only one other seated table. The food was unremarkable, still. Why bother when there are so many other places to check out. See ya.

Fern R.

Yelp
Not only was the food delicious and service excellent, they went above and beyond!! We arrived at 9:15 after searching for parking. They were extremely gracious and told us we could still be seated even though the kitchen was supposed to close at 9:15. We asked for takeout containers to make it easy for them. They brought out a several course meal on a platter that included soup, two appetizers, main dish and rice! It was sumptuous! We will be back!

R.S D.

Yelp
I got a delivery of the veggie fresh roll, red curry with tofu and rice. My only thing is that I wish there was an option for red curry to be spicy. I highly recommend otherwise

Shiksa H.

Yelp
I believe owner changed. And it's not good. Sad. It's a sad day for me. I hope you find this place to be better than what I have experienced today. I have been a faithful customer of this place where they started as an Asian and Thai grocery store that became a restaurant, 15 years or so. Some of you might know they used to have commercial refrigerates against the walls. It was our family sit down feel good and tasty Thai food place for many years, but it won't be any more. I ordered two orders of Thai fried rice with beef. It was bot tasty at all. The portion was so uneven that my dish was just enough for my 7 yo daughter and that 'a small. Just very small amount of rice and lots of onions and scallions that were not cooked and to make thing worse the beef was rubbery and it was clearly a frozen beef thawed without marinate nor seasoning. How do you mess up a fried rice in a Thai place? But they did and my wife didn't even finish Pad Thai because it was simply not tasty. She said it was just wet. Lastly, men's bathroom was dirty and smelly and the dishwashing areas was just as smelly and dirty. Prior owners had the bathroom clean and dishwashing area was always clean. The toilet bowl was dirty. Inside and outside, trash can was dirty filthy. Now. I think I will stop here. Tempted to post bathroom pic but didn't. Thank you for reading.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite places to get pad thai around Boston--the noodles have a particularly delightful bite to them! + Their standard pad thai is $8.95 for just shrimp, but you can get chicken and shrimp for $10.95. The bean sprouts are served raw in a pile on the side. Compared with other pad thais in the area, it's number one in terms of texture of noodles but maybe second or third in terms of flavor. The seasoning is lighter than usual and towards the end I started wishing it was more flavorful. + The service is lightning fast. Most recently we were there on a Friday night. We placed our order and our food came out within about five minutes. Amazing! + Great prices! Compared with many other Thai establishments around Boston, the prices are super competitive and the dinner specials menu is perfect for those who like variety. For $10.95, you get a smaller entree, tom yum soup, spring rolls, fried dumplings.

Julia L.

Yelp
My new favorite Thai place! We just moved to the area and I was very pleased to find a place with Yum Woon Sen -- cold and spicy noodle salad -- on the menu. The lunch special is also a great deal where you get an entree and two sides for under $10. Thai Iced Tea was also yummy! Would definitely eat here again.

Jasmine J.

Yelp
This place used to be my favorite Thai restaurant. The last time I was here was 6 years ago. This time was very disappointing! The portions were a lot smaller than before, the service was so bad (seriously, hire someone that speaks English). We ordered a pork with string beans, beef noodle soup, bbq pork (moo yang) over rice with a fried egg, and minced chicken over rice. The beef noodle soup was too sweet for our taste; string bean with pork lacked of flavor; moo yang and minced chicken were as good as I remembered except the portions were half smaller. Glad I went but will never waste another meal here during a short visit.

Xiao Z.

Yelp
Guay-Tiew-Kai Noodle Soup, Duck vermicelli noodle soup, had great broth and flavor. I ordered spicy which had a good kick. If you can't handle spice go down a level. Lots of duck meat and tons of noodles. Would definitely order again. Street parking in Brookline. Lots of indoor seating and it's spacious and not overly crowded.

Anthony L.

Yelp
if i could put a 0 star i would. this restaurant sold me raw chicken. and could not come to a solution to fix it. not only did they hung up on multiple device multiple times. they also acted as if they phone was not working so they don't have to listen to me. all they could say "i cannot give you a refund. and to call your credit company. that i know how my food is cooked". this is extremely disrespectful and offensive. never eating from here again.

Alisa c.

Yelp
This place used to be good. Now the quality of the food is not very consistent. I get take out here once a month when I work around here. Sometimes the Thai coffee was acidic. Guess they just left it in the fridge for longer than they should. What made me give only 2 stars was today's order. I ordered the pad Thai with chicken and shrimp. There were 5 pieces of shrimps and I couldn't find any chicken in it. Very disappointing. Not to mention every time I ordered the Thai iced coffee, online or by phone , they gave me Thai iced tea. Every single time I had to correct them. In general, the food is not bad. They just need to pay more attention to details.

Mayur D.

Yelp
Incredible local Thai restaurant! Fast and efficient service, reasonable prices and most importantly very delicious food. Not much ambience inside the restaurant but actually very family friendly. Great for takeout.

Dkay K.

Yelp
One of the only two truly authentic Thai places in the city - food is really really good Get the Kuo Kai, the garlic pork, satay, and coconut water (comes with the inside coconut meat)

A Ra J.

Yelp
Very big portion for Asian. Great taste!! Want to come back and try other menu more! :)

Yutin Z.

Yelp
One of the best Thai food places I've tried. They offer affordable meals. The dinner special costs $12.95 and comes with mini spring rolls, two little dumplings, a small thing of soup, and a generous portion of whichever entree you choose. There are many options from noodles, curry, to stir fry. I got the Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodle). It was delicious. The popcorn chicken was very good as well. Definitely recommend.

Coco C.

Yelp
Ordered takeout and do not disappoint. Thick noodles and generous portions and the food came while still steamy hot.

Vinny A.

Yelp
This is a great authentic spot for good Thai food. A friend of mines lived in Brookline, and highly recommended it. I went for lunch so I got my hands on their lunch special. They give you an entree with 2 sides for under $9.00. The entree is smaller but it gives you a chance to try 3 different things which I loved! Vegetarian/Vegan The server was great informed me that the curry has fish sauce, and the noodles have egg. So I got the Thai fried rice with no egg which was amazing. I picked the spring roll and the peanut sauce salad. I would also highly recommend thai iced tea and lychee juice!

Dylan H.

Yelp
dok bua has the best thai food on the planet. the staff is extremely kind and they took good care of me.

Nicole R.

Yelp
Their crab rangoon is the best I've ever had. Always perfect. Love the trio fried rice too

Kt S.

Yelp
I got the tofu pad see ew and an order of scallion pancakes. Absolutely delicious as always! The sauce and noodles are so flavorful and perfectly cooked!! A great choice for Friday dinner :)

Phil C.

Yelp
It's been ages since I last came here. Pre-Yelp days, I used to go with a bunch of friends for a fun dinner out that didn't break the wallet. It used to have like a tiki hut decor inside and the food was pretty good. Perhaps my expectations were too high my last visit but it was just...okay. I went for beef red curry dinner special. It came with tom yum soup, a couple of fried dumplings and a few small egg rolls. The soup was just lukewarm but had the tangy flavor you want from a tom yum soup. The appetizers came cold and were predictably bland. Fortunately, the curry was quite good, as I liked the heat and flavor. However, similarly to other foods, it was a little cold. The evening was really warm and humid, which made the temperature of the food more tolerable. The decor seems more grimy than my prior visits as I'm sure age hasn't been kind to the restaurant. I'd still come here for Thai food but I'll temper my expectations.

Soonjeong N.

Yelp
Thai food is cheap, but very delicious here. If somebody is very hungry and wants to try Thai food, just visit and enjoy!

Sheila N.

Yelp
I'm pretty familiar with Asian food. Dok Bua is my springboard to the street of Bangkok - fresh ingredients, authentic flavor, "wok qi", fast and affordability. I have to admit that the restaurant looks a bit tired and not the cleanest. But I do feel that after the hit of COVID-19, the restaurant had stepped up and improved in its cleanliness. For me, it is all about food. I don't go to an independent, tiny joint to look for high end dining experience.

Madeleine W.

Yelp
My favorite place. The pad see ew is the best ever! Has become my new go to in Boston and I often get it delivered when I don't feel like cooking.

Yelp
Dok Bua is an authentic Thai restaurant in Coolidge Corner, on Harvard Street in Brookline. Street parking was available right in front @ 5pm! The décor is nothing special but the food is excellent and the servers very attentive and friendly. Their pad kee mow is tasty; that is my favorite Thai dish. The eggplant is outstanding, not mushy like in most Asian restaurants. Prices are reasonable and they have lunch and dinner specials although I think you are better off if each person orders a full regular dish. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
This place is so good!! I've been coming for years and it's probably my favorite thai place. The combo w soup and spring rolls and dumplings is amazinggggg and such a good deal. I usually go for Thai ground meat (pork), mango curry, moo yang, or garlic pork but everything is so good. I usually ask to sub the tom yum soup for the coconut soup because it's one of the best coconut soups I've ever had. If you're starving you can also add a big piece of crispy chicken to any combo for a few bucks, it's a really good deal. The stew beef masaman curry is one of my favorite it Boston, I also love the crispy pad Thai. They make a great Thai ice tea. The service is always soooo fast and they are so friendly. Save room for desert because the sticky rice w mango is so fricken good. Just come here, you won't regret it
