"Dolce Arte is a coffee shop, bakery, and Italian restaurant all rolled into one industrial-looking space in Bridgeport's Morgan Arts Complex. This means you can show up early for things like breakfast sandwiches or pancakes, stick around and power through some emails with a side of espresso, and celebrate your last meeting getting canceled with Happy Hour deals and plates of chicken parm or pasta." - john ringor, veda kilaru, nick allen

We had an amazing brunch experience here. Everything we ate was exceptional from the pastries, coffee, and entrees. Our server was extremely helpful and friendly. The atmosphere is cute and cozy. I recommend the almond croissant, pancakes, and stockyard skillet.

Love love loved this place!!! Every person and every food item at this place was filled with love, warmth, and authenticity!!! Everything from the pastries to the pastas are made in house too. I tried the pastry (10:/10) and the fritata (9/10–little spicy for my taste) Check out this family owned space, you will not be disappointed! I’ll be back!!!

Google
Dolce Arte I have one question, why? I stopped in for a quick bagel, was in the area and I’m familiar with your place. I’ve been there for drinks and breakfast. So I just wanted a bagel, maybe a pastry but I decided with the latter. I didn’t ask how much were the bagels, I’m thinking at least $2 or something around that price point. My total was $4.51! Cream cheese is additional. I was asked if I wanted it toasted, I declined. Driving home I stopped at my tamale guy in my neighborhood. $2 per tamale, I got two. I paid $5 total, I tipped him. How did I get more value at my tamale guy? Dunkin Donuts on Pershing and Morgan has bagels at $2.49 and they come with cream cheese! Your bagel wasn’t fresh. I’m not a rich man nor am I a poor person, I’m blue collar worker. But no person in the Bridgeport area should have to pay $4.51 for a bagel with no cream cheese.

Coffee and a snack. The service was pleasant and quick. I will try lunch here when over in Bridgeport. The interiors are clean, exposed brick and timber. Nice vibe. Updated review February 2025 Today, the kids had ice cream and a Matcha tea along with a Panini. It was pretty good and fresh. The owners were friendly.

We held my daughter’s bridal shower at The Morgan Arts Complex and used the on site restaurant Dolce Arte for the food and drink. I have hosted many events over the years and this was by far one of the best! To say the food was amazing is an understatement. Every was absolutely delicious, hot and plentiful. We had over 80 people and never ran out of food. Not only was the food delicious and the presentation beautiful but their staff was friendly and attentive. Dolce Arte Owners Stephane and Brittany were wonderful to work with and could not have been more accommodating. We have received so many compliments on the event. Dolce Arte restaurant is open daily and will not disappoint. Definitely give them a try.

Google
The food was eh.. my tummy hurts now. Avocado toast wasn't what I had expected and I didn't enjoy it. Tomato soup is pretty good, very sweet savory. Matcha lavender latte was bitter which is great, but I wish I requested to add more milk because it was a bit too strong. Interior is clean and refreshing. Joey was the first to welcome me at the Cafe stand and continued to take care of me throughout service. Although there were two other employees on the floor, Joey was the only one who greeted and checked in on me even though he was busy running around. GIVE JOEY A RAISE 🙏 over all food is mid, made for people with bland taste buds. Atmosphere is nice and I like that you can order breakfast or lunch regardless of the hour you walk in.

Google
I came in Sunday, it was a total of 8 of us. Abraham was are server. It was our first time there and he didn’t miss a beat. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave some great recommendations. He took the whole tables order without writing anything down, repeated it back to us perfectly. You can tell he was kind of busy but he kept us comfortable and entertained the whole stay. Wonderful job young man. If all the servers give service like him this place is here to stay.

Food: Ordered pastries at the front desk to be brought to our table: the Sourdough Nutella, Raspberry Meringue, and the Lemon Italian Meringue. The Sourdough Nutella was my favorite, however it would have been better if it was warm and fresh. My sister ordered the American Breakfast and I ordered the Short Rib Eggs Benedict. My sister swapped her sausage patties for turkey patties which were surprisingly a well-seasoned turkey blend for a patty. While the potatoes in both of our plates were well seasoned and cooked, they were slightly stale and cold like they had been made in a huge batch and left out. Would be terrific if served fresh, my biggest qualm here. As for the Short Rib Benedict, the Short Rib was extremely tender. The berry spread and butter for the sourdough toast was a great compliment. The sauce on the Benedict was creamy and savory. I would order it again if I wasn't intrigued about trying a different dish. My sister ordered a lavender matcha latte which unfortunately tasted like milk with a hint of matcha. I ordered the Tiramisu latte which was slightly on the bitter end but I didn't mind it. Service: Overall, prompt service. Our waitress checked on our table plenty enough. Had decent knowledge of the menu when questioned about it. Nothing bad but nothing memorable in particular. Atmosphere: Extremely cozy atmosphere. Warm lighting. Thoughtful design. Neutral tones of browns and greens. Esthetically pleasing to the eye down to the seating and green intricate glasses.

Yelp
This is somewhat difficult to find but well worth the voyage! It's located in a warehouse that's been converted to an art studio. The space is terrific! And from the moment we walked in, the staff was welcoming and pleasant. They quickly showed us to our table. Our waiter, Joey was super friendly and attentive. We started with Bruschetta which was fresh and flavorful. I had the Cacio e Pepe which was perfectly cooked and my wife (vegetarian) had the Italian Chopped Salad which they accommodated by removing the prosciutto which she said was light full of flavor. The portions were nice sized but not huge like some places are doing now. We both still had leftovers. We ended the night with a couple generous scoops of pistachio gelato which was the perfect finish to a wonderful meal! We will definitely be back! Thank you Dolce Arte!

Yelp
I had a similar experience as other Yelpers when it came to the service. From the moment I walked in, it felt like my presence was unwanted. Different staff members looked at me and looked away, as if that would just make me leave. And I almost did but I really needed some coffee. I didn't think my matcha latte was worth $8 in an 8oz cup. It wasn't even whisked - it was clumpy in my mouth. I'm not returning here

Yelp
Dolce Arte delivered an exceptional experience! The food was delicious and the customer service was top-notch, warm & welcoming. The atmosphere struck the perfect balance, making it a cozy spot to relax and enjoy. Looking forward to eating there again.

Yelp
What a cool, new addition to Bridgeport! We came here with some friends who were in town and were not disappointed. Our waiter was friendly and the space is bright and airy. The food itself is totally solid. Lots of great sounding options to try! My bagel sandwich was good and everyone I was with enjoyed their breakfast.

Yelp
Found this place thanks to Yelp! The restaurant is inside of a warehouse building. There is adequate signage to guide you to the restaurant. The atmosphere is urban, rustic and classy. Abraham was my attentive server. I ordered a latte with Oatmilk, vanilla and caramel...if it's made with Lavazza it's always amazing and it was! I also ordered the Caruso Frittata, it is the perfect combination of savory, creamy, salty and spicy. I look forward to coming back and trying some pastries. This was definitely an unexpected surprise! Thanks Yelp!

Michelle C.

Yelp
Cute spot! I got the Italian chopped salad w salmon which was tasty but the add-on salmon was a bit hard to mix in with the salad. They also have some interesting drinks on the menu. I ordered a matcha, but I could only really taste the milk. I will try another drink next time!

Yelp
We're so happy to have a new brunch spot in the area and they're actually pretty good. We tried the house breakfast platter, tiramisu latte and the Nutella sourdough donut. Everything was delicious and the sourdough donut it was different as it's more dense than regular donut and it's a lot of filling inside. They have a wide selection of pastries such as ube flavor and lemon filling donut. I'll definitely come back to try more! Service was quick and the decor is the typical warehouse design which is smart.

Yelp
This is my second time here, and I absolutely love this place! I was having a rough day, but Brice was incredibly kind and attentive, which made all the difference. He was amazing! The food was delicious, and I left feeling both full and happy. The ambiance was perfect spacious and relaxing, so you never feel cramped like in other places. Definitely a spot I'll keep coming back to.

Yelp
This space is absolutely stunning, and a great new addition to Bridgeport! It is different than all the other restaurants in Bridgeport. We ordered a couple of drinks and cheese flights during happy hour. While the drinks were fantastic and the cheese was nice, I was a bit disappointed by the lack of thought put into the accompaniments for the cheese. We ordered two separate cheese flights, yet both came with the same jam and pickled onions. Our waiter was also very nice, but very all over the place. He'd run back and forth, shout across the space and forget things. We ordered the red white & blue cheese flight, and got the red wine cheese flight instead - totally fine, and not a big deal because we were excited to try some cheeses, but he wasn't nearly as polished as the space would suggest a waiter would be, and added some chaos to an otherwise beautiful and peaceful space.

Yelp
Came for my friend's birthday brunch. Abraham was the only server on the floor and he was fantastic! He made great drinks and engaged with us as well. The food was perfect. I tried the s'mores latte and the little bear they made was the most pleasant surprise! The peach sangria and peach Arnold Palmer were divine. Our food was cooked perfectly as well. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
We discovered this gem thanks to some friend who invited us to dinner there this past Friday . First of all I think it's super cool that the restaurant is located at the back of the museum, just walking around to get to your dinner is an experience by itself . Then the waitress was really sweet and knowledgeable about the menu , she was completely honest about her favorites and the things that in her opinion we should skip . Finally the food is fantastic ! We ended up ordering 4 entrees , 2 appetizers about 2 rounds of drinks and the bill was around 100 per couple . The chicken limón was fantastic and I had one of the best caccio e Pepe I've ever had . Bonus points : the bathrooms are spacious and they have a baby changing station that's easy to access . That is a must for me these days .

Yelp
This place really stands out. Everything is individually a 5. The best way to describe the space is super tranquil. It's like an oasis. We went over there for lunch today and walked through the art gallery before sitting down to have a meal. The decorating an art and photos paintings are absolutely beautiful. I got lox, cucumbers on a croissant. I got a latte. The food was awesome. Servers are super cool. They help make it a laid-back environment. This is a place that I just know whenever I'm in town I will be going to even though I always love to try new places this one really got me. Their breakfast looks so good too. It would be great to wake up on a weekend and go there if I lived in this area. They also have event spaces spaces for private meetings. This is like an all inclusive art space. This place is a six. All the fives make six?

Yelp
My partner and I stopped in for coffee after hearing of this new place in Bridgeport and we definitely want to come back for the full experience. I tried their gelato and I thought it was so so. My partner loved her latte. The place is spacious and chic. They start serving dinner menu early and their menu looks great. Will be coming back to upload a full review in the future.

Yelp
I visited Dolce Arte while in town for a friend's birthday weekend. Dolce is within walking distance of their place so we set out at 11:30am on a Saturday morning. The restaurant is situated inside of a creative art space, the space is bright, airy and has a little something for everyone. A walk up counter, bar and about 20 tables. Once we arrived we were greeted and seated right away. The menu has plenty of variety at brunch. I opted for a skillet and side of fruit. While the skillet wasn't as flavorful as I would have liked it was a very large portion. I doctored it up with salt, pepper and hot sauce to make it work. The fruit was a large portion of berries. I ordered a croissant to go and it was light, fluffy , & buttery. I would recommend Dolce if you're looking for a brunch spot in the area.

Emily S.

Yelp
Delicious brunch in a cute, modern location. The art is fabulous edition to this spot. We really enjoyed ourselves at a birthday brunch. Fun coffee drinks and delicious entrees. The stockyard skillet was packed with ham, sausage, and bacon. The potatoes were very well seasoned and eggs cooked just right. I tried a bite of my friends pancakes and the citrus butter was divine. The service was great and accommodating for such a large group on a holiday. We will absolutely be back!

Tony H.

Yelp
Food was great! Excellent ambience. Service was a bit slow, they were not busy, just an inattentive waiter. Food made up for that.

Aaliyah L.

Yelp
We went on a Sunday around 1pm and were seated immediately. The restaurant space is light, airy, and cute. Service was great, everyone was very attentive and friendly. We were nervous because when we looked around, no one had food on their tables yet so we were preparing to wait awhile to eat, but we waited probably 15ish minutes before the food came out. I loved the full bar and they have a good iced coffee selection as well with sugar free syrups. I had the veggie skillet with a side of turkey sausage and I enjoyed it more than I thought. We also ordered the Stockyard skillet which was good as well. We even got a free cookie at the end of our visit. Oh and their jelly spread is SO good, we literally asked them if they sell it by the jar, sadlyyy they don't. I hope they maintain this quality and service!

Christine H.

Yelp
The decor is really nice here and it's hidden in this loft-looking office building on Morgan that has an art gallery. There's an outside sign on the sidewalk that has the restaurant name and you go inside and go up the stairs and walk a little bit and it's on your left side. The HUGE framed photographs that you see in the hallway are worth $30,000-$60,000 a piece. The restrooms are across the hallway from the restaurant. When you enter the restaurant, you'll see their baked goods. I ordered the raspberry sourdough after we had our meal. The bread itself is dense, but I was hoping that the texture would be more airy and fluffy instead. There was a lot of raspberry filling and it was tart and sweet, but the texture was more like very thick syrup. I think I would try the Nutella sourdough next time. I ordered the Caruso frittata and it def had a kick to it which I didn't mind. The ingredients are fresh here, but the pricing is a little higher. I paid $21 with tax and tip for my frittata dish and it was an average size on a medium plate.

Stacy C.

Yelp
The service is amazing- you are treated like you like your family. The owners aunt was in from Florida and literally brought us calamari and suggested which salad to get/ which we got the arugula and it was AMAZING- one of the best salads I have had. Also the burger was out of this world!!! I would return in a heartbeat and love the vibes!!! I hope it thrives! The only pic I got was the açaí bowl which was fresh!!

Shirley L.

Yelp
The restaurant was located inside of Morgan Arts Complex. The interior was nice and bright. We sat at the bar and had a good view of them making the coffee and cooking in the kitchen. We got the short ribs eggs benedict and stockyard skillet. We waited a long time for our food and coffee. I got a tiramisu coffee and lavender matcha latte. They were both on the sweet side and the lavender matcha had no matcha it only tasted like lavender. We ordered a raspberry danish and that came before our food. The danish was very sweet due to the raspberry jam. We waited about another 20-30 minutes for our food to arrive. One of the eggs from the benedict came with the yolk already poked through. Taste wise the short ribs were on the drier side but the dish overall was not bad. The skillet was also not bad. Our server was nice and checked up on us when we were waiting for our food, an extra star for service. I don't think we will be returning anytime soon.

Krista W.

Yelp
Pleasant service and a beautiful space! Loved the pastries but thought some of the food could use a little punch up- Caesar salad was fresh but a little lackluster. I will definitely be back to try more of the menu!

jim m.

Yelp
We stopped in for a late light dinner and were pleased with the food. Had eggplant parmesan, meatballs, and parmesan fries. Service was OK - had to wait a bit for the fries. Chardonnay was great. We had been there before for drinks and were impressed by the light open space and the atmosphere.

Mike G.

Yelp
I was excited to see another cafe open on Morgan Street in Bridgeport so I decided to stop by with my wife and friends last week for happy hour. Their HH prices for cocktails and small plates is very affordable. We ordered a few cocktails each and cheese boards to split - all very good. Our server was very nice but seem overwhelmed and had to constantly run to the back to ask questions about the menu. The inside space is very open and plenty of seating. I would come back to try more off the menu!

Jerry Y.

Yelp
Great breakfast place and opens early at 7.30am! Nice ambiance, usually not crowded and very delicious pastries offerings. Great place if you want a quiet corner and some privacy. And it's inside an art gallery if you want to browse a little after your meal.

Chelsea S.

Yelp
I really wish the service was better because the food was actually pretty good, but the service was so awful I had to give 2 stars. We were seated and after 20 minutes of no one coming over I finally had to ask for a server. The employee I talked to said we were seated in her section but she was leaving so she wouldnt't help us and refused to get someone else. We finally got service but he was pretty rude despite us telling him how long we've been waiting. We got the veggie skillet which was really good and they did have gf bread. Hopefully they work on their service.

LiLiana F.

Yelp
Great atmosphere and beautifully set up. The food and the art are amazing. I will definately come back to try their lunch & dinner menu.

Joey S.

Yelp
I've been here three times now as I live close by and the service is never good. It's like we are invisible, Waited 10 Minutes to be seen. Then it takes forever to get the food. My wife's eggs were cold. It's a shame because the food is really good. If they can figure out the service aspect, I'll update the review. It's just off putting for breakfast to take an hour

Maura D.

Yelp
amazing food! The service was great and the atmosphere was extremely welcoming and friendly! The working staff was extremely accommodating and helpful with lots of recommendations ! The menu had a variety of options perfect for the whole family. The pastries were extremely fresh and delicious. The coffee variety is amazing and never disappoints. All the dishes were super delicious and fresh!

Nellie M.

Yelp
You have to get their sourdough donuts!!!!! Service is great and everyone who works there is super friendly. I have only stopped it for counter service but hope to dine in soon.

Rowe V. C.

Yelp
Dolce Arte catered a high school graduation event for our son on 6/1/24 at the Morgan Arts Complex and it was perfect. From the moment we inquired about the complex and the food Stephanie, Brittany and Madison were very patient and helpful answering our questions from food to setup. Plus the staff who worked our event, they were very helpful and accommodating. The selection of food was plentiful. We chose the buffet option plus a crepe station. The food was delicious and their homemade gelato/sorbet was amazing. The room was great size for a small gathering of family and friends. We were able to decorate the room and an hour before the event. Our guests were also able to tour the art exhibit in the complex. Unfortunately I only took a couple of photos before we decorated and none to show after. We love Dolce Arte Cafe and MAC are in the neighborhood and supporting our local businesses in community is a plus.

Donna O.

Yelp
Outstanding destination ,full service restaurant in an interesting art gallery. Good service, delicious food, full bar is just what Bridgeport needed. Morgan Street is quite the thing between Polo Cafe and Dolce Arte you will not be disappointed.

Scott C.

Yelp
Ok. I will say this. The food WE ACTUALLY GOT was amazing. The service was awful. Like so awful that I'm writing a review. The sever didn't seem to understand what was going on. She came over to take our order three times. I felt like we were being punked. Our daughter's entire dinner didn't come out. Luckily we were not charged for it. It was as if we never ordered it at all. The management was somewhat interested but never offered any type of acknowledgement or apology. Also? Everyone else In the place was having similar problems. I know this cause I could hear their conversations as it was nearly empty. So disappointed.

Nancy D.

Yelp
The food is excellent, very good service waiter was awesome, talkative and quick. I love the clean airie ambiance. Great place.

Joe J.

Yelp
Nice to have a high end Italian restaurant in walking distance! I have only been there for dinner and look forward to their breakfast/brunch soon! They are also accommodating when requesting veg or vegan.

Donna O.

Yelp
The Mother's Day Brunch was amazing. The variety of food delicious and the staff was very pleasant and accommodating

Ramona M.

Yelp
This has been one of the best breakfast/brunch dining experiences that I've had in a long, long time. the service was top-notch with extremely courteous and kind staff (Krista and Demarcus, among others). The food was unbelievable and the coffee has me addicted. We ordered pastries to go but my hopes are high. Thank you for a wonderful start to our day.

Andrew B.

Yelp
First time going, got the calamari and A cold beer. Chicken limon was very good, my partner had chicken florentine, both were very good. Excited to have a place like this in bridgeport!

Molly C.

Yelp
Friendly waiter, great food, good atmosphere. The calamari was amazing! Would absolutely recommend.

Dee S.

Yelp
Slow, slow service. Food is good but pricey. Nice menu of pastries but ordered cookies and waited a long time for cookies that we ordered to find out that they had to be made and were not ready. Lots of confusion in kitchen with orders and expediting. Also watched customers wait as long as 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge them at the take out counter will they tried to figure out the expediting issues. There were staff on computers working on something and others putting up shelves and cleaning up. Place is clean and has a nice private area. When discussing the cookie issue with the front staff the waiter came over and said that he told us the cookies were being prepared. He never said we would have to wait 20 mins. Prepared means the order is in the works not being made fresh at that moment. For the price the service should be exceptional and customer service as well. 4 people for breakfast was $100.
