Dolce Italian Miami

I had an outstanding experience at this restaurant. The food was exceptional from start to finish. I tried the pappardelle, which were absolutely fantastic—perfectly cooked and rich in flavor. The risotto was equally impressive, creamy and well-balanced, and the salmon was cooked to perfection. Also the meatballs and the octopus were amazing. Although the location might make it seem like a typical tourist spot at first glance, that impression disappears the moment you step inside. The restaurant is beautifully maintained and managed with remarkable professionalism. The atmosphere is elegant without feeling stiff or overly formal, striking a perfect balance between sophistication and comfort. A special mention goes to the manager, Rosario, and our waiter, Francesco—both were truly outstanding. Their attention to detail, warmth, and professionalism elevated the entire experience. Considering the quality of the food, service, and overall ambiance, the pricing is absolutely fair—comparable to, or even slightly below, the average in Miami Beach. Highly recommended.

Excellent experience! We had a New Year’s Eve dinner here and everything was top-tier. Adela was our server and she went above and beyond to accommodate us. We will definitely return. Also, you must try the mushroom truffle ravioli.

We had a fabulous dinner here! We shared a meatball and polenta appetizer - the meatballs were flavorful, really delicious. They have home made pastas and we had the bolognese and gangarelli with pesto , shrimp and cherry tomatoes - they were both so, so good! Large portions so we both took some home. The bread was served with high quality olive oil, service was attentive but unobtrusive. We highly recommend for anyone looking for a quality Italian meal

We stopped in for dinner o 5/24 after a long day in Miami beach. We're actually staying at the Gale hotel which also houses this restaurant. We were very pleasantly surprised. The lemon rosemary chicken dish, picture, was possibly the best chicken I've had ever. And I've eating lots of chicken with mid-level expectations. Both the flavor and the tender chicken contrasting with the crunchy skin on top make this a very special tasty dish. My daughter had the main lobster raviolis which were also exceptional. Plate presentation was very nice. Nahuel was our server and helped provide menu advice, excellent service, and helped make our meal very enjoyable. Prices were in line with Collins Ave expectations. This was a nice experience!

Highly recommend. They have a great cocktail menu, as well as their food menu! The hearts of romaine (Caesar salad) is fabulous, as were the complementary bread and oil and our meals - spaghetti with the meatballs and the pappardelle alla bolognese. I wish we’d tried this place earlier in our trip so we could have come back!

We came here with my family including 2 little grandkids. The food was delicious, the staff could not have been more accommodating, and the manager (wish I had his name) was INCREDIBLE. He physically moved our table because our 5 year old was cold and went to get a blanket for him from the hotel. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

I almost gives 5 stars to the food but it wasn’t amazing, I ordered tagliatelle with frutti di Mari and my wife spaghetti al pomodoro and there were normal , and looks like they were saving on Parmesan cheese, that’s why I didn’t like the service 100%

We were happy to see Dolce reopened after being closed for a multi month renovation. It seemed that many of the staff have changed, as we did not recognize any of the servers who typically help us. One of the things we have always enjoyed about Dolce is the gem salad starter. To us, this was “the best salad on the beach”, and, now it is no longer on the menu. Why? The four of ordered as entrees the following; pasta bolognese, chicken parm (two of us) and the roasted lemon chicken. All entrees were their typical “very good” (although I thought my chicken parm could have had a bit more sauce, as it seemed a bit dry). Starters for the four of us were their typical caprese salad, eggplant parm and a variation of their new mixed salad, and we asked if they could try and make similar to what used to be the gem. Since we ate outside on the terrace, we could not notice any changes esthically to the restaurant, so I cannot comment what, if any changes were made on the interior portion of the restaurant. Overall, I will still highly recommend Dolce, as their food remains consistently good, for a good price.

The service at dolce was great. We were staying at the gale hotel so it was very convenient to have this nice little Italian restaurant right downstairs. The beef carpaccio might be the best I've ever had. I could skip the meatballs next time.

I came here for Valentine's Day for a dinner with my girlfriend. We ordered a bottle of wine, some appetizers, and each had a pasta dish. I found the calamari to be too greasy, and the Caesar salad was just okay. However, my seafood pasta was good, and the pasta was cooked to perfection; unfortunately, the Bolognese sauce was lacking in salt. Overall, I found the food to be somewhat bland. The bread, on the other hand, was good. The service was okay, but the server didn't seem to know much about wines when we asked for recommendations. The restaurant is nice I liked the outdoor setting.

Nicest waiter ever! Everyone here is so friendly & funny, they also made great food and drink recommendations. We sat inside and basically had a private dining experience! Our appetizer, meals and free desert were amazing! Please come check this place out!

Seating is patio, bar or dining room. The interior dining room is beautiful! The outdoor patio is great for people watching. We enjoyed dinner! Photos posted...salmon tartare, home made pasta bolognese, seared branzino, dessert and a spicy ginger vodka cocktail! Everything was amazing! The cocktail was exceptional too! Service was fantastic! You have a server and assistant keeping your water glass filled. The bread basket was good too! Huge plus, the pasta is made in house. I would love to return to try additional dishes. Very good!!

Had an amazing meal last night at Dolce. The food and the service was the absolutely wonderful! Our waiter was extremely knowledgeable about all of the food items and was very attentive which is rare in the "post-Covid" world. The bread & olive oil is a great treat. We started with cocktails- the spicy ginger is refreshing & delicious. Next , on our waiter's recommendation, we ordered the spaghetti & meatballs ( something I would never orders because my own is pretty amazing) . It was simply "WOW"! Finished the night with tiramisu & an espresso martini! Definitely will keep this place on repeat whenever we are visiting Miami! Do not let the fact that this restaurant is attached to a hotel keep you away!

Took advantage of the Miami Spice menu for Dolce. It had been a while since I had been to Dolce inside the Gale hotel. Still a great quiet spot for a date or just to dine. The spice appetizer I chose were the jumbo shrimp cocktail which was not my favorite. The cocktail sauce tastes more like marinara and the shrimp were a little gummy. Although not bad not the best. The star here was the rigatoni. Wow it was pretty amazing the sauce was on point. I asked for some chili flake and made it spicy. It was delicious and the sauce kept thickening throughout which made it even more flavorful. And for dessert there was only one option the white cake with toasted merengue and raspberry sorbet. This too was so good. The cake was very moist not dry at all. I'd say well worth it for the Miami spice deal. The only thing was there was really no ambiance. The air was broken so they had a fan blower while it wasn't hot, it was the only thing we heard all night. No music at all. But it's Miami and we know these AC troubles really well. Service was on point though Christian was delightful. Good to know that Dolce is still a solid choice!

I loved the set up of this place, relaxing ambiance with attentive service. My favorite bolognese souse tasted more like a meatballs then a beef ragu but I still enjoyed it

Good location, nice place. The waitress doesn't know how to self me bring you a coffee never mind to ask you if you want water or anything. He's just not paying attention whatever. The pizzas is totally burn. No test

I had an early dinner on Dolce patio (in Hotel Gale) so people watching was fun. The complimentary bread with olive oil was good but would have been better offered with Parmesan cheese & fresh cracked pepper. I had a delicious mango mojito mocktail....so refreshing! And for my entree I had the lobster ravioli which was encouraged by my server. Unfortunately, the pasta dish was underwhelming...not bad but not the best. Sadly, the asparagus tasted better than the actual ravioli which should have been the star. Overall service was nice!

Delicious and wonderful service - a must for any stay in South Beach!! We could have gone here every night of our stay!

Overall I enjoyed the food at Dolce. The dishes were flavorful and well presented, the dishes seemed reasonably authentic and had fresh ingredients too. There is no denying this restaurant is very touristy because it is in a hotel right in the middle of a popular tourist destination, although I'm not sure if that is a reason not to go. I did think the service was a bit brisk, and properly could have been improved slightly but it could have been an off night.

Well I hate even saying this As I don't like to leave negative comments my goal is to always start at five stars and stay there I keeping an open mind. But this morning while getting breakfast service was very disappointing. I'm not sure what's going on the food was good the coffee was good once received but there was no follow up on the 2nd cup 3rd cup etc. We're probably gonna be eating here one or more to one or two times because it's convenient to the hotel. It'll be interesting to see if they're consistently this way or is it better next time. Love the Location, love the ambience, love the food.

Good restaurant in south beach. Still a tourist trap but higher quality than what you will find on Collins ave. The ambience is pleasant, good vibe pleasant staff. I had the TAGLIATELLE AI FRUTTI DI MARE which was pretty good, decent price for what was likely previously frozen seafood. I give a higher rating as finding something like this on south beach is a treat.

The location is perfect, right in the middle of one of the most happening intersections on Collins. Food was outstanding. Service was what you'd expect at a white table cloth restaurant. I really recommend their ravioli pasta. I would definitely go back

Very enjoyable evening at Dolce tonight thanks to our server Hester. We had the skirt steak and the braised ribs with brussels sprouts. Our plates were left cleaned, therefore, no room for dessert. The manager Mr. Zaccaria came by our table to make sure everything had been presented to our satisfaction. Getting a chance to practice a little Italian was just the cherry on top !!! Highly recommended

The dinner at Dolce Italian was a pleasant experience with a nice outdoor decor. The staff was very welcoming even for late evening service. Their famous lobster ravioli is also available under Miami spice menu, which was very light and tasty. The risotto was ok.

Nice restaurant but the menu is lacking. We stayed at the hotel and had a chance to grab breakfast and attempt lunch at this restaurant. They were short on wait staff in the morning and our waitress was doing all she could to get to us when she could and they somehow ran out of croissant sandwiches. For lunch we wanted appetizers and drinks but the menu is very limited and we opted for a margherita pizza and when I tell you this was the worse pizza I've ever had that's an understatement, it lacked tomato sauce and the cheese is like some dried up crumbled crust or something. Do go here for drinks, a nice chill environment and friendly staff. Didn't try the pasta so maybe that's the draw.

One of the top upscale Italian restaurants on this famous beach strip in Miami Beach. Lots of tourists walking around all through the day and night so it's a busy area. The Italian restaurant is very traditional with its decor and reminds me of a steakhouse with the dining tables and chairs. We had a semi-private room all the way in the back which was perfect because our group was loud lol. I would have to say all the dishes ordered kept getting better and better as it got placed on our table. Everything from beet salad to the amazing charcuterie platter, Branzino was tender and tasty, the steak was perfect too! I think the only disappointment was my bolognese was a bit too salty for my taste. The meatballs saved the dish because it was juicy and flavorful. I'd definitely love to return here to try the other main courses.

Another great meal at Dolce. Pasta is made fresh daily- perfectly aldente! Service was kind and professional. On the pricey side, but a great option for a nice night out.

Excellent place to eat dinner. Food was very fresh and delicious. We are from Los Angeles, and we are picky eaters. Everything was top notch from the food to service. Highly recommend.

Wandered here after an event at the conference center. The decor and vibe outside was so nice! Very romantic. The pasta was delicious and portion was very generous. I had the Pinot noir which was very good. Servers were all very kind and attentive. Highly recommend I will definitely go back when I'm in Miami!

Came here for valentines day dinner & we enjoyed our time. Started off with the dolce meatballs which were delicious, served on a bed of polenta. For our entrees I had the lobster ravioli and my boyfriend tried the Garganelli Al Pesto Con Gamberi. Both plates were good & very filling. Special valentines day dessert as well was a heart-shaped chocolate mousse. The atmosphere was nice & service was quick as well.

I was there for a business dinner. The ambience of the bar that I could see briefly was modern and inviting. The private room we were at in the back upstairs was nice and complete with a private bar. We were served family style dishes with pasta, and some kind of salmon dish. Perhaps it's a fairly big party of 30 people so my pasta was overcooked. But the side dish with mushrooms was delicious. The salmon was overcooked as well. The service was OK at the private bar, but they had a hard time going in between chairs to properly for our drinks so my water glass was empty the whole night. Perhaps in a private table the experience would be better

Needed to get a quick bite before heading off to do some work. I enjoy when the wait know and are passionate about their menu. Took a seat on the patio outside to enjoy the night life. Was going to have the Branzino Filet but the waiter insisted if i wanted their best seafood dish that i should get the Tagliatelle Ai Frutti Di Mare with shrimp, calamari, baby scallops, and clams in a light tomato sauce that accentuates the freshness and sweetness of the seafood. It was well seasoned but not overly spiced to hide the natural flavors of the seafood. The tiramisu was one of the creamiest i have ever had.

Met a client here for a business lunch. Dolce is actually a great place for a business meeting or a date. This restaurant had both indoor and outdoor seating and seems like a refuge on the busy and touristy Collins Avenue. My client who comes to this restaurant often recommended I order one of the salads. She ordered an arugula salad with chicken and I ordered the gem salad with shrimp. We shared a bottle of sparkling water. Be advised the protein does not come with the salad. In fact it costs almost as much as the salad itself. The salads were about $20 each. Adding chicken was an additional $12 while adding shrimp was an additional $18. An 18% gratuity was also added to the bill. With this said, the gem salad was one of the best salads I've had in awhile. The shrimp was cooked perfectly. My only complaint was that one of my shrimp weren't deveined. For what they charge, I was surprised to see this. Also the service was slow. There were a few times I looked around for wait staff and none were to be found.

They tried so hard, the food was good, but the prices don't match the offering. When paying these prices I don't expect to get plates that are chipped all over, I don't want to get up from my table to steal salt pepper from another table. We sat outside near the sidewalk, then a homeless person sat in front of us with a meal that he did not eat, so he left the food on the sidewalk. Then came the crows, pigeons, and seagulls. We were hoping the restaurant would care that this was going on at the outside area of their restaurant, but they did not care. I guess that is Miami now. The ain't my problem city. 1 pizza , 1 pasta, 1 salad $85 lunch for this lovely experience.

The food was amazing! The ambiance was pretty nice. And let's not forget the service , literally went above and beyond !!! Our server Nahuel was very attentive and so sweet. Hope to be in Miami soon so I can try more dishes

Dolce Italian is the restaurant at the Gale, which is where we stayed. This place was basically ALWAYS poppin' - with both hotel and non-hotel guests alike. Because my partner is a Hilton Honors Diamond Member (yay for work perks!), we had complimentary breakfast each morning. It was a set menu of: two eggs any style choice of bacon or pork sausage choice of bagel, toast, pastry or yogurt parfait served with home fries, orange juice and drip coffee or tea. This was a SOLID breakfast. Very tasty, filling! My partner commented on the better quality as he eats QUITE a few of these hotel breakfasts. My scrambled eggs were always perfect, everything was nicely seasoned. The fruit was always sweet and ripe. Truly no complaints. Why only 4 stars then? We also came for happy hour, which is Sun - Thu from 3-5:30pm. They didn't have the only happy hour beer on the menu AND the meatballs were hella dry. FYI Wednesdays are 30% off all bottles of wine!

Always an amazing experience and the food is authentic Italian...I've read so many reviews about the food from an American point of view and if you know how their food is supposed to be prepared as opposed to the Italian-American way, you would know the differences. It is a must every time we come to Miami!!!

An authentic Italian restaurant in the heart of South Beach! I highly recommend the Pappardelle alla Bolognese. It was the perfect serving of fresh pasta made by hand tossed in a mastered ragù. The Tiramisù's was a simple, classic, and subtly sweet layered dessert. Deeelish!

This place is the worst restaurant in the entire Miami area. Do not go here ever. If you have had one drink, and you go here, they will not serve you. On the off chance you're feeling like you want to go here, and go here, do not. If you feel like you want good food and you want to go here, don't. The ambience is great. The people are not. The service is less than stellar. One out of five stars. You have been warned. Proceed as you wish.

A noisy outdoor streetside seating, ok in all the right ways. Miami mufflers and the cadence of macho green light starts, like peacocks strutting feathers with a DJ background of low disco, from Billy Ocean to MJ remixes to the more obscure. And the usual details: -excellent waitstaff, and cruising manager checking in -interesting cocktails and a recc for the Diablo -bolognese, solid and cleaned to plate's bottom -rosemary chicken, perhaps a pass next time -pommodoro spaghetti a success, as well as the pasta and shrimp (ganga-something)

I went here for a family member's birthday dinner. The food was fairly decent. I ordered the "Pappardelle Alla Bolognese" which was good and I enjoyed it. The wine selection was large and offered both by the glass and by the bottle options. The service was fantastic. They seated us on the lower patio and were able to move us to the higher outdoor area upon request (even after having been seated). Additionally, our waiter was very kind and diligent. Overall, Dolce Italian was an alright restaurant. If you really want Italian food this is not a bad option.

Really enjoyed our lunch at Dolce Italian! We had the tartufata pizza, beef carpaccio, and Caesar salad -- all were very tasty. Service was great too.

Dolce Miami restaurant was amazing. The staff were fantastic and very attentive. The ambiance was perfect for celebrating my husbands birthday. The food was delicious and I would recommend this restaurant to all my family and friends.

We started at the bar and then went into the dining room and back to the bar for a nightcap. Having previously stayed at the hotel, I can say without a doubt we came back for the restaurant because it's that good!!!

Amazing carrot ginger soup with roasted sesame seeds. This establishment has the best food in South Beach, by far.

My husband brought me here for my birthday dinner and I was beyond satisfied with Dolce Italia. The food was reminiscent of the amazing quality of food we ate on our trip to Italy. It was flavorful, light, and fresh. Every dish was delicious and I will come here again when I visit (which is really saying something given the amount of restaurant choices in Miami.) I don't eat Italian food often because I think American Italian food is too heavy but you can tell Dolce Italia is authentic. I wish I lived closer so I can come here often. Also: there's a lounge downstairs that's intimate and the drinks are delicious!

Delicious dinner with fantastic service. However I would highly recommend sitting indoors. Outdoors is so loud with the traffic and crowds - it totally Ruins the ambience. Drinks are great. The gnocchi is hand made in house with a pesto cream to die for. 10/10 recommend

Place is located inside of the Gale Hotel. Since we were staying at this hotel it was easy access for us. The interior of the place is elegant and beautiful. Very high class. The waiter Sanders was amazing, funny, and helpful. We all ordered some wine and drinks to start. Then I had the lobster ravioli and it was absolutely delicious. Super flavor. Will definitely recommend having a nice dinner here.

I have to say this food was delectable, the lobster ravioli was one of the best meals I've had. The octopus lives up to the hype, crispy on the outside, and soft and chewy on the inside. The espresso martini knocked it put of the park, goes down smooth, with a nice blend of kahlúa, grey goose, and espresso. The cheesecake was good for ricotta cheesecake (New Yorker, so cheesecake is a hit or miss unless it's New York style cheesecake). Overall wonderful! The restaurant had intimate lighting, comfortable seating, was quiet, and had wonderful service. Lastly I highly recommend the waiter Ernesto if you go, he is very kind and responsive to needs, he checked in me multiple times throughout my meal.

I recently attended a YELP Elite event at Dolce Italian. After the event, the BF and I decided to stick around for dinner. We had positive expectations, but were surprised by the quality of the service and food. I wish i remembered our server's name, he was awesome! He must have been italian or french, total gentleman, friendly, attentive and very knowledgeable. He needs to run a training course for waiters all around miami. Seriously, he needs to look into it. Our dinner was basic since we had some apps at the yelp event, we tried the Capricciosa pizza and loved it. I would definitely try it again. Prices were fair for south beach.
