In Praise of The Florida Project’s Food Scenes | Eater

"One of the budget retail chains dotting the tourist corridor; mentioned as part of the local commercial landscape that sits alongside fast-food outlets and grocery and big-box stores, reflecting the utilitarian, low-cost shopping options available to area residents." - Garin Pirnia

Only here would they have 1 cashier and 20 ppl in line. I asked the manager if she could open another register and she said she had to restock.

This store on Montwood needs improvement. This is my third visit this week and the place is a mess. Two five dollar boxed items that I purchased have been broken. After my third visit, I brought the attention to the manager and she wasn't too happy with my asking for a even return request. (Same item). Also, the loud arguing between the employees in the back room was heard throughout the store to where the customers standing in the exceedingly long line witnessed it. There is one employee who does a super job here, a very friendly and upbeat middle aged man who was not working this morning. Dollar tree, you need to do better. Train your employees on customer interactions, raise pay and hire more employees so they can take pride working for you. This store is going downhill quick, and the restrooms are disgusting.

Cashiers are great! The store always has new stock and they work hard to make sure it's always out on the floor.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I went to Dollar Tree at 2:30 pm today. There were no people in the line, Jade was able to get my items and started scanning them. I was still putting items next to the register when they were being scanned. Once I went to pay, I turned to my grandson and started talking to him. Jade, the cashier told me to select OK, so I pressed the OK button. When I got home, I checked my receipt and I noticed the cash back option had been pressed by Jade and $20 were selected for me to receive back. Also, an extra $1.25 terminal fee was added to my total. I never pressed the charge back option or chose the amount to receive. Shame on the cashier for not being honest. Dollar Tree needs to train their cashiers better. I tried calling Dollar Tree to speak to a manager, but no one answered the phone. Poor service!

I love coming here, it is the dollar tree so your expectations have to be low. Overall the staff was nice and the store was organized with the occasional small mess. I love the quality of stuff that so sold, many of the items are worth the price. They also have a large variety of items that are sold

Yelp
This place was crazy busy on Saturday! The aisles are so crammed together that it's nearly impossible to get around people that are standing there looking at stuff. So much merchandise just thrown onto the floor and people stepping on them or kicking them outta the way. Customers kids running around screaming and playing with opened toys thinking this is their house. We went in for a couple things so our visit was short. I did see a lot of good products though and for $1, nothing can beat that. The cashier wasn't friendly and the only think that came out of her mouth was our total. No thank you, nothing.

Yelp
I was just recently introduced to Dollar Tree, which is less of a store and more of a way of life! EVERYTHING IS $1! Here's a list of finds in a week and a half so far: Knock off Febreeze Knock off ShamWow (I'm getting everyone one for Christmas!) Kleenex Toothpaste Knock off scope mouthwash Irish Spring Bar Soap (I don't care if it never gets me laid, I love the way it smells!) Knock off reynolds wrap Cheap candy TONS of hangers Football cards (stay away from those, they are mine, MINE!) Toilet Paper Air freshener Packing Tape Strawberry Newtons This place is awesome, check it out! (but don't buy football cards!)

Yelp
Store was clean and organized. Me and my son couldn't decide which candies to buy. They have a whole aisle of candies! Shh...I got them for us to take into the movies. I was able to get FIVE different types of candies instead of only ONE at the movies! I still bought popcorn and soda at the theater. I enjoy going to Dollar Tree whenever I'm on a budget or want to save money (which is often!). I usually buy my house cleaning supplies like Lysol wipes, Fabuloso and trash bags at Dollar Tree. I wish they took more coupons and had more offers on the Ibotta app but...this won't stop me from going. They take more coupons at a Dollar Tree off Balboa in the westside. Another plus is...they sell the Sunday paper for $1 instead of the regular price, $3. Some items like greeting cards are .50/ 2 for $1. The cashier was polite and friendly. I couldn't find a newspaper and let her know. She was fine with going to get me one off the shelf. A+ experience, will return to this location and my favorites in the westside.

Yelp
RUDE employees. Every time I walk into this Dollar Tree, they page security to do a "store walk." There is no security. It is an attempt to make people to think twice about stealing is what it is. I don't mind that they do this. But they ALWAYS seem to do it when I walk in. I am a customer that probably have spent hundreds here by now, STOP TREATING ME LIKE A CRIMINAL. What brings me here today though is that once in a blue moon, I get a box from this place as I sell things on Ebay, but today a stocker comes up to me and says "we don't give out boxes." and I replied with, "It's never been a problem before." She threw her arms up and said. "Well you can go ask the manager, we don't give out boxes." I just left the box there and went to go pay the items I had which was about $6 in total. After ALL the money I give this business on a weekly basis they can't spare one tiny little box? I was going to let this go until I heard the stocker shortly say on the intercom say in annoying voice "Okay stockers time to pick up the boxes." Treating me like if I am a begger or nuisance or something in that manner. Because of this I will no longer be visiting this particular dollar tree. It is WRONG in my opinion for them to treat loyal customers like this. I will give my dollars to another dollar tree.
