"This place has a long culinary tradition to its name, dating back to 1909. The Döllerer family's inn is located in the town centre, not far from the parish church and the castle. The atmosphere is pleasantly lively and with a cosy, rustic charm. Food is served by friendly waitstaff in two dining spaces with historical vaulted ceilings or on the terrace to the rear of the building. The menu features mouthwatering dishes such as sturgeon with Piedmont hazelnuts or Rauris venison ragout, not forgetting the signature dessertSchwarzbeernock'n(blueberry dumplings) with sour cream ice cream. We had come to look at the waterfall and were ready for lunch. Limited options being a Wednesday (half day closing) so we ended up here. It was probably nicer than we had planned for, and more expensive than we had planned for, but the food was incredible. Not a cheap and cheerful place, but one with excellent quality.

Nice deco and atmosphere. The food did not particular impress. Beef Tatar had a slight ketchup taste which I didn't enjoy. The fish, particular the sides too salty. The Kaiserschmarren was glazed with caramel - it was nicely fluffy but can't compete with the original w/o caramel. Overall the food is good, consider small portions and "salty" price level. 🧐 Hotel rooms are lovely and breakfast delicious. Nice concept to get the meat from the in-house butcher shop. You can pick what you want and there is a wide selection of quality food. 👌

The starters and schnitzel were all delicious! Personally, my favourite was the seafood soup. It was rich and absolutely fantastic.

The food was delicious. Good service. Nice garden on top with excellent view of the mountain. The sausage from their own butchery is a must-try with their home made bread. All in all experience, Excellent!
