Chicago-Area Restaurant Openings For Spring 2018 - Eater Chicago
"RIVER NORTH— Dollop Coffee Co. opened a 2,800-square-foot location featuring coffee and fresh pastries. It serves breakfast sandwiches, waffles, and lunch items, according to a news release. There’s also beer, wine, evening snacks, and happy hour specials." - Ashok Selvam
I stoped by because of their favorable reviews. I’ll be back as long as I’m in town for their Mexican Mocha. Had two this morning. They’re something special.
The baristas are friendly and efficient. Seem to be enjoying their jobs. Not just putting in their time.
Modern, relaxing decor and music that invites you to stay awhile.
Raising the bar!

Great coffee! Cute place and very cozy. The options of food/baked items was limited but the blueberry and cheese danish was delicious.

Perfect drinks. Free wifi. Great vibe. There are a couple of these around town and they do not disappoint. Go caffeinate here for sure.

A modern coffee shop with a cozy feel. Theres tons of space here for studying or chatting with a friend. The employees were nice and ready to help. I got a nutella mocha which was super good. Not too sweet surprisingly. It was the perfect drink and they didnt make it too hot where I had to wait to drink it.

Wow, amazing place. Lots of places to sit, sophisticated decor, and interesting music. They offer coffee and even mixed drinks and beer. And food. Cheerful atmosphere with positive staff as well.

Good place for studying and getting work done, clean food. Baristas not super friendly.
Bathrooms were really dirty and disgusting though.

I have been spending a lot of time working and reading at this location since it opened and overall it has been great to have in the neighborhood. Coffee is good and they have a decent beer selection if you are working late and want something to sip on. They have a ton of working space and keep it very clean. Internet is so-so, but this is really the best spot in the neighborhood.
