A Pair of French Landmarks Reopen in Winnetka and Eight More Openings | Eater Chicago

"Unlike most other Dollop locations, this South Loop branch offers full table service and all-day breakfast and lunch — including chicken and waffles and smash burgers — with evening hours and cocktails coming soon." - Naomi Waxman

I’m sorry to say the interior of this cafe fails to effectively delivery the impressive skyline, park view available to this location. Dare I say furnishings are uncomfortable, shabby and badly in need of replacement. Coffee was good.Service was average. AWARDED 1 YUM ON A SCALE OF 3. No on street parking.

This afternoon I walked towards the South side of Chicago, making my way to Dollop Coffee. With several locations in the city, this was my first experience with Dollop. Upon entering I found the barista to be very friendly. Better still is Follop on Indiana offers a small array of beers on tap to complement the coffee. Brilliant. If I am anything, I’m a creature of habit. A cappuccino, in a mug, a little dry. Rather than my pairing with a croissant, I opted for a pint of Pacifico. As I’m a resident of Arizona, Pacifico is listed as one of the five food groups that contribute to a healthy diet. Thankfully the cappuccino Dollop crafted was on point. Not one of the best in the city, but certainly in fighting form. The consistency of the foam was very appealing and the barista took care the foam mixed well with the espresso. The net result was a pleasing experience overall. If you are local to the area, or just passing through, I’d recommend a stop by Dollop, be it a cappuccino or a cerveza. Enjoy

The food was amazing but the cafe is structured in a way where you barely have to interact with staff, which can be nice for some people but is not my preference. It is very modern, but not exactly cozy. The food, however, was amazing. We got a spicy mocha and a honey latte, which were both tasty and well crafted. We also got the breakfast sandwich anf breakfast burrito. The burrito was soooo good! I was especially impressed with the bread from the sandwich, the sauces on both, and just the combination of flavors on the burrito. One other thing I really liked is, if you dine in, you get ceramic coffee mugs rather than a paper cup, which I think is a nice touch.

This cafe is so beautiful! Definitely a great work from home spot with great coffee and food selection. Don’t forget to try the donuts!

This is my favorite coffee chain in Chicago. Their chai is top. And the quality of their beans is also up there - single sourced, lightly roasted, compostable packaging, etc. The coffee does still taste intense though as a note. I like it cause I like coffee. It's not that sweet starbucks stuff. And more affordable than other cafes. I ordered a dirty chai and the barista was so pleasant and made it so well. The space here is also really nice. Only a few spots with chargers for work but still a great space for getting stuff done. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I got their acai bowl and it was amazing, their breakfast sandwich comes with lots of potatoes - definitely good value. The coffee was also delicious and the girl behind the counter was polite. Definitely recommended for quick breakfast or coffee near Grant park.

This is a cute place to come and grab a bite and a cup of coffee. There is a great view of Roosevelt road and Grant Park, making it a a great place to people watch and view the skyline of the city. Our food was good, I ordered the grain bowl. Overall, it was good, but could have used more seasoning. My partner ordered the pancakes and they were good - we would recommend them. Our drinks were tasty. My americano was strong. His Nutella mocha did not have enough hazelnut and just tasted like a mocha. Will be back to people watch and sip on coffee.

Priya and Bloom were so kind and welcoming. I was just in Chicago for a short trip but in the few times I was here they were so personable and fun to talk to. It was the highlight of my trip. Thanks!
