This afternoon I walked towards the South side of Chicago, making my way to Dollop Coffee. With several locations in the city, this was my first experience with Dollop.
Upon entering I found the barista to be very friendly. Better still is Follop on Indiana offers a small array of beers on tap to complement the coffee. Brilliant.
If I am anything, I’m a creature of habit. A cappuccino, in a mug, a little dry. Rather than my pairing with a croissant, I opted for a pint of Pacifico. As I’m a resident of Arizona, Pacifico is listed as one of the five food groups that contribute to a healthy diet.
Thankfully the cappuccino Dollop crafted was on point. Not one of the best in the city, but certainly in fighting form.
The consistency of the foam was very appealing and the barista took care the foam mixed well with the espresso. The net result was a pleasing experience overall.
If you are local to the area, or just passing through, I’d recommend a stop by Dollop, be it a cappuccino or a cerveza.
