Excited Dollop expanded to Oak Park. Great coffee, pastries, seating and a walk up window.

Really nice coffee place! We got the honey cinnamon latte, blue milk, a bagel, and a donut. I loved the latte. Definitely coming back :)

1st time here. Lovely staff. Great latte. Hubby loves the coffee. Get the cinnamon roll if it is in. It is fabulous!!! Have vegan offerings for food!! Loved the idea of all day breakfast menu. Will come back for more coffee and to try the sandwiches (and pick up a cinnamon roll if in)!!

This is a fancy coffee place in a fancy rental building. Interior is modern, comfortable, and relaxing. Coffee is average. Reason for three star reviews is the unfriendly and lazy staff that does not want to work. They close their grills, coffee machine, and stop serving lunch menu even 2-3 hours before coffee shop closing time. We have stopped going there. If you plan a trip please go here first thing in the morning because if you go later they shut off everything even 2-3 hours before closing time.

I was excited to try this coffee shop because I love coffee. I went into this establishment anticipating a great experience. I experienced a really passive aggressive nature from the gentleman helping us . He made passive aggressive and smart remarks at me and my child including but not limited to, “We’re not Starbucks. We don’t just make our stuff super sweet” . I’m not sure if he was having a bad day or he just wanted to act that way with us but I was really letdown by this experience being that I spent my hard earned money . 🤦🏽‍♀️ This will be my first and last time at this location unfortunately

The coffee and the ambiance are great. If they haven't brought back the coffee cake they need to because it's delicious. My only observation is that they could have a few bigger tables for spreading books/laptop while studying but overall the dollop is a great coffee spot.

If you're looking for a good coffee shop downtown OP, go to Wise Cup instead. Dollop gets our order wrong 99% of the time we go here. (& I only go back because it's about 10 feet from my apartment building). Save your time & money and go somewhere else!

Delicious food thoughtfully made. 2 thumbs up on the chickpea sandwich. Counter service was extremely friendly. Very allergy aware employees. My new favorite coffee shop.

Yelp
Well well well Dollop - you sneaky coffee shop, you finally ended up coming to the burbs!! Wahoo!!! I have visited your other location in Lincoln Square, where you provide PIE and COFFEE! Anywho - I digress as this is about Oak Park's newest addition ;0 This is located off a main street, can be a little hard to find if you don't know what you're looking for, but I'm sure technology can help you out. Cute shop with a very coffee shop vibe - there are neat touches throughout the place, like the windows facing the street slide all the way open, the fans are super large and all seemingly look connected to one electrical pump thingy (I'm no engineer so if you just look to the ceiling you'll know what I'm talking about). The staff were also very friendly and were able to chat with us about the various coffee and sandwich options. Onto the food and coffee: I ordered an iced coffee and my partner got a small regular coffee. My coffee was definitely strong and kept me pumped for hours. My partner's coffee was not as delightful as it was room temperature. Also - to note, the small size is VERY small, kind of like a kid sized coffee.. just in case there are coffee lovers who are about to get adventurous and go small...just don't. As for the food - we both ordered sandwiches, I opted for the chickpea sandwich and my partner got the veggie sandwich. Both were quite delightful and flavorful. We were promptly served and the sandwiches tasted fresh on some toasty bread..YUM! My only hesitation on both the coffee and the sandwiches is pricing - I do see that prices are going up everywhere but these items seemed a tad overpriced. Both sandwiches were around $9. Again, this could match inflation but I think the chips could be included. All in all, I was quite pleasantly tickled to visit this spot in Oak Park and do love the coffee and ambiance. I would give it another go and suggest you do too if you're in the area!!

Yelp
New to downtown Oak Park is @dollopcoffeeco Coffee is strong and the drinks are expertly prepared. We tried the Orange Creamsicle just a different and new version of an iced latte. Staff is kind and learning the ropes of their new environment. The pastries are all vegan. We tried the Banana walnut muffin and it was really good. I hate the M word, but is was perfectly moist. You can also get your drinks/food to take to the building lobby, which is warm and smells wonderful. We will be back for their sandwiches and more coffee creations.

Yelp
My sister and I decided to try out this new coffee shop today. We walked in thinking that the name, "Dollop" was cute. But, we discovered that this name is for a reason. They give a dollop of coffee as well! They price gouge you for even just a bit of coffee. I paid $10 for two small drinks, and angry to see that a small here is a kid/dog sized cup! Was there anything unique about these drinks that made it worth $5? Nope! My sister ordered the Nutella mocha and it only had a whisper of chocolate. I ordered a vanilla latte and had no taste of vanilla. Both of our drinks tasted similar--no flavor at all. When I went to get lids and sleeves, we saw that they were too big for the drinks. What if we took these to go? It would have been a mess. In addition to receiving a dollop of coffee, the tables are a dollop in terms of size. I came here hoping to do some work, but my laptop can barely fit the table. I am concerned that my coffee can easily spill on my laptop. Won't be back to this hipster monstrosity!

Yelp
I love the atmosphere. The staff was very nice and greeted me as I walk through the door. The choices of drinks are plentiful. I ordered a spicy mocha. It was okay. It was very spicy, but not enough of the other ingredients. I couldn't even tell it was a mocha drink; which should have been evident when ordering it with oat milk. I've had this drink at other coffee shops and it was much better. Also, I was disappointed that this location did not have a full menu of food and pastries. However, I was able to order a lemon basil beignet. It was delicious. I had to look at my receipt to remember what pastry it was...and realized they charged me for a chocolate glazed Brioche. Not sure if I will visit this location anytime soon. It is a new location and giving mid stars as they need to get up to speed.

Yelp
Such a fun place to get coffee! Yes, they're still in the beginning stages, so sometimes there are hiccups in getting the order out, but I think they're starting to hit their groove. Definitely check out the "Ritual" app if you want to order ahead. The Beacon Donuts are amazing and the drip coffee is some of the cheapest you'll find around!

Yelp
Nice moderately sized coffee shop with a variety of drink options. It was a nice quiet Sunday afternoon when I chose to enter this establishment after a walk in Austin Gardens right down the street. The staff was friendly, coffee came out quickly, I definitely asked for a different cookie but that's on me for not paying attention until I took the cookie out of the bag. I can't speak for the other drinks, but I enjoyed the light taste of my honey cinnamon latte. The indoor space is large with moderate seating with 2-3 tables of outdoor seating. Update: upon further consumption of my cookie, I found 1 chocolate chip in the center. So technically they did give me the correct cookie. I think I would've preferred a few more chocolate chips though.

Yelp
WORST SERVICE EVER. I walked up to the window and the guy just looked at me, didn't say a word with an expression like I was bothering him. The staff was so rude -Whoever works Monday shift around 10am needs to be fired or sternly spoken to and reminded they are in a customer service role and lose the attitude. Coffee also tasted old - Horrible experience. My house drinks so much coffee. I'm never going back again. I will only go to wise cup. Wise cup is around the corner - everyone go there instead.

Yelp
This location is no longer Dollop Coffee, it is Cribby Coffee. The owners are absolutely awful and really don't know what they are doing. They hardly ever have food, so if you go there to eat just be aware that they will be out or have not been resupplied. The only good thing about this place are a few of the workers. Daniel is absolutely incredible. His food creations are amazing. He went to culinary school so whatever he creates, whether it be food or drink, is absolute heaven. He goes above and beyond for the customer. Daniel is honestly the reason I keep coming back. He is sassy, altogether a wonderful human being, and full of life. Amy is kind, hilarious, and always guaranteed to put a smile on your face. I'm going to be honest and say that the food here is not great. Daniel does what he can based on what he is working with, but altogether the food and coffee is not worth the price. You could get something of equal quality at a grocery store bakery, for a cheaper price.

Yelp
Love the location, ambience is nice, and everyone's super friendly! That being said it looked pretty slow on their screen, yet service was slow... more so than usual. Took a few minutes to be greeted, more than 10 minutes from the time ordered the latte to it being made and it also tasted a little more bland this time. One person seemed to be doing it all, food/reg/stocking/training(?) the other, on a Saturday. Not sure if they just need more staffing, someone for drink prep or food prep. Watched a group walk in didn't receive a greeting and eventually they left.

Yelp
My experience at this coffee shop was phenomenal. The aroma of freshly roasted coffee beans fills the air as you walk up to their store. It was a great sitting and sip a coffee here. A really nice place to start your day. Very spacious and cozy place. Ordered latte, loved they layout with affordable options. They also have cookies and teas and herbal infusions to drinks. The coffee tastes so great and served hot. Their staff was easy to approached, super friendly, polite, knowledgeable and professional. They offer an experience like no other. The space was inviting and service was speedy. Top notch customer service. Will definitely recommend dollop coffee co. to my friends.

Yelp
This was incredibly disappointing. The service was horrible! Not sure if it was the take out or the window service but they couldn't get their act together. Waited 15 minutes for a bagel and cream cheese because he forgot it! What didn't he forget...to keep mad texting someone.

Yelp
They fancy themselves an elevated coffee experience but they are amateurs. Ordered a cappuccino which is made with mostly foam and got a warm latte instead. Not a big deal in the grand scheme of life but if your barista doesn't know the difference between a latte and a cappuccino you should train them better. Keep trying Dollop. You can do better.

Yelp
BEST COFFEE, great staff, good vibes, and consistent quality. Highly recommend the classic cappuccino.

Yelp
Amazing service, fair prices, and great place to sit / study / hang out. Highly recommend the biscuit sandwich and honey cinnamon latte!
