OK, this place is pretty basic accommodations for a pretty hefty price. More like camping as the cottages have canvas walls with no A/C. A fan is provided. We were there in July 2024 and the nights were cold. However, the bedding was extremely comfortable. You'll need to climb a lot of stairs and ramps to and from your room unless you can flag down the cart driver as he goes by once in a while. The real selling point to this place is the amazing views of the Etosha Bush from the decks of each cottage. There is a waterhole nearby that attracts Lions, Giraffes, and Elephants as well as other animals. In fact, the entire west side of Etosha NP is unspoiled by tourism (at least as of this writing). We never imagined that we would have been able to experience the "up close" excitement of being alone with these animals. At each waterhole on the west side, we found ourselves alone watching Rhinos, Giraffe, Elephants, Zebra, Onyx, Wildebeest, etc. There was a night game drive offered by the Dolomite Camp that we took advantage of and were able to watch a pride of Lions monopolize the local waterhole. Breakfast and dinner were satisfactory, although we were rushed to be able to take advantage of the evening game drive. As far as we are concerned, the money spent here was well worth it.
