Best Dallas Korean Restaurants

"This spot specializes in giant, steamy bowls of beef soups, with dishes like oo guh ji galbi tang (spicy beef baby back rib soup with dried cabbage), dduk guk (beef soup with rice cakes), and do ga ni soo yook (boiled ox knee soup). Orders are individually sized and range around $16 to $25 per bowl, or a large serving for several people — or several meals — which can be $65 to $85. It’s a strip mall joint and no one is here for the vibes, so feel free to order online or take it to go and create your own atmosphere." - Courtney E. Smith, Didi Paterno

Google
I highly recommend the ox knee hot pot styled boiled meat! There is so much collagen impact into it and the broth is incredibly delicious! It is $80 and it’s served with three bowls of rice and as always, the Korean side dishes! A little pricey, butyou’re paying for a lot of meat and high-quality meat as well! It was so clean, flavours were there, especially if you add in the sauce, I loved this place and it made me feel so healthy! So much comfort food because soup is absolutely delicious!

Google
I got the #1. You season the soup yourself. I loved it. The calmness and fullness of the broth is satisfying and it contrasts perfectly with the kimchi sides. The brisket was so tasty with the dipping sauce they give. Try this awesome Korean spot if you haven't yet!

We came to Dallas from Vancouver for work, and stumbled upon Doma Seolleongtang — and wow, we were absolutely blown away. As soon as we took the first spoonful of the broth, we were nearly in tears. It was that good. Comforting, rich, and deeply flavorful — just like a warm hug from home. This was, without a doubt, the best Seolleongtang we’ve ever had in our lives. Doma doesn’t just serve food — they serve soul-healing magic in a bowl. Thank you for such an unforgettable meal. We’ll be dreaming of this taste until we come back to Dallas again.

Soup dishes were hot, spicy, and tasty! The service was fast and we were able to get refills on side dishes quickly with our server.

Google
Amazing place for seolleongtang! I ordered the galbi tang (#7) and my boyfriend ordered the chadol seolleongtang (#2). I loved the galbi tang, it was a super refreshing meal and the dipping sauce for the meat was to die for! Fun fact - they also have a cute robot that brings banchan and plays BTS.

Google
New review Been here 2 more times since the last review. Still very good 😊 My friend and I came back for more as he wanted something light for dinner. I got the Galbi Tang. My tried and true and still so delicious 🤤 Oh the location in Plano closed so this is the only one we can go to now. Old review My friend and I wanted some Korean food but nothing too heavy so we came to the original doma seolleongtang location in Dallas (there is a second location up in Plano too). This dallas location is slightly smaller than the Plano one but the food was just as good. It was nice to know that the consistency of the food stated the same whichever location you go to. Our wait staff was quick and made sure we felt taken care of too. Will definitely be back for more.

Google
This restaurant is my go-to restaurant whenever I'm craving for authentic seolleongtang. The food is good and the server was nice. I don't know why people bash on the server in the reviews. Sometimes I feel bad that she's the only person working while handling 20+ tables.

Google
It’s been a while since I last visited Doma Seolleongtang, but it’s still just as delicious! The staff were incredibly kind — I think one of the ladies was here even two years ago when I last came. If this is a family-run business, the warmth makes total sense. But if she’s not family, I seriously think she deserves a raise!

Yelp
Came on a rainy day a few days before Chinese new year to grab some rice cake soup. Delicious and recommend

Yelp
I didn't take photo because I was hungry. It was a raining day : perfect place for rainy day! Food : 9/10 I was just hoping the noodle in my bowl is sweet potato one. It takes a while to get your food after you order. Cleanliness : 9/10

Yelp
Very clean, light, and healthy tasting soups that came with rice. Banchan was average.

Yelp
I've been here a couple times, and I would say that this is a reliable place to get Korean soup. The menu is pretty limited so just make sure to check before you come. It's a pretty quiet restaurant. It's located at the back of the building so can be a little difficult to find. The service is polite and good as well.
google avatar

Yelp
This is a must visit place every time I visit Dallas. The flavors and quality is on point, and it's such a hearty meal without being heavy. Their broth hits the spot, and meats are tender. Clean, cozy, and friendly staff. I've ordered both the large pot version and individual version, but love the individual so don't have to share.

Yelp
I'm so so happy I stopped by for lunch! The weather is a little rainy so I thought that this would be a great time for some soup! This was my first time ordering seollong tang! I was greeted and seated immediately, and the food came out super fast! The owner (I think?) explained how to eat it, and I dove right in. The banchan was delicious, and the portions were so generous. There was so much meat in the soup! The cold barley tea was a great sidekick to the heat of the soup. The owner kept checking in on me, giving me suggestions on what to eat next and if it tasted good, which I appreciated so much. Although seollong tang comes unsalted, the broth was creamy and had such a rich deep beef flavor to it. It felt like a giant, warm hug. My only regret is that I don't live closer to be able to try more soups here!

Yelp
Quick service, large parking lot. Definitely need to add your own salt to the broth, but very good. Plenty of meat, and lots of tendon! Ban Chan was good too! Your standard Korean atmosphere--loud K-pop, but not obnoxiously loud Came out to $45 after tip for 2-Seok-Uh (Mixed) Seolleong Tang (#3)

Yelp
love love this place! I am so happy I stopped here for dinner - we came 1 hour before closing and there weren't too many other diners so the wait was minimal and we got seated immediately. The complimentary banchan was out of this world!! Their marinated onions and fresh kimchi was so good... I could have a whole tub of them. For the portion / type of food, I feel like this was a bit pricey. Total for dinner was $100 including tax and tip. Definitely a more "clean" meal, I was full by the end of dinner but honestly think it was the liquid weight and I am not complaining! I do wish there were some grilled meat options on the menu, that would be perfect!

Yelp
Bring your appetite (and maybe some floss)! I love Korean soup, and this place satisfied my craving. We tried the galbi tang and the ox bone soup. Galbi tang had so much umami flavor, and the clear broth was very soothing. The ox bone soup was very rich, and we added salt to our liking. I also really enjoyed the banchan. The meat tends to get stuck in my teeth, but that's usually the case for me. The service is quick, and the vibe was very calm in the late morning when we went.

Yelp
DALLAS, TX 75229 / KOREAN, BEEF SOUP / FRI 11-24-23 / LUNCH +The spicy radish kimchi was legit. +The 'sauce' was pretty good and was pretty much an additional banchan side dish for us. We asked one of the waiters what it was and he said they just call it 'sauce.' +The beef soups were all pretty good. We ordered two #1's (yangji sullungtang) and one #9 (wongi sullungtang). +The customer service was nice. -MSG overload. We're not sure what dishes had MSG in it, but we were thirsty all day long and super sleepy for an hour or two, as well. Luckily, we went over to Highland Park and walked/burned some of the MSG off. -The prices are pretty steep. $15.99 for a regular bowl of sullungtang and $23.99 for the wongi, which has baby back beef ribs and lean brisket, as well as a little bit of cartilage/tendon. With these prices, they should at least offer soup broth refills. -The restaurant building is kind of run down and the restrooms were icky, but the food was satisfying overall. Just be prepared to drink lots of water for the rest of the day/night.

Yelp
My favorite seolleongtang (beef soup) ever! The broth is delicious and the meat is thin and very tender. I always order the number 2 (Chadol Seolleong Tang). The banchan are the best, but especially the kkakdgui (cubed radish kimchi). I am obsessed and find myself craving it often. My Korean husband has taken me to many restaurants and this is, by far, my favorite for beef soup. If you haven't tried it yet, you should!

Yelp
I was meeting up with an old friend on a cold, rainy day in Dallas and saw the reviews for this place and knew we had to go here. The strip mall it's in looks a little sketchy, but the interior is nicely decorated in a minimalist style. Most of the customers were Asian and that's always a good sign We were able to get seated right away and I was excited to introduce my friend to Korean soups. We both ordered #3 with the mixed meats. We caught up and enjoyed our barley tea and soon the soup, purple rice and side dishes were delivered. I LOVED this place. We got refills on the panchan and the fermented vegetables were a nicely balanced by the bone broth and meats. I added a lot of green onions to my soup and a few small sprinkles of salt. I made sure to drink all of my delicious soup and most of my rice. I wish I had a place like this in my town but would highly encourage anyone within driving distance to GO NOW!!!

Yelp
1. Won Gi Soo Yook - vitality plate / beef baby back rib + cheek meat + knee + fat removed beef + beef brisket 2. Galbi Tang - beef baby back rib soup Presentation is beautiful. The meats were a little bland, a mix of dry and tender. Soup was comforting. My main issue with Korean soups in general and this restaurant is unfortunately no exception is the price for portion. The big hot pot was $80+. If you're craving Korean soup, I think this will hit the spot but it's for small stomachs with bigger wallets. Service was good and there's ample seating.
google avatar

Paul G.

Yelp
This was a very clean and well decorated Korean soup restaurant and the service was great! They even had a robot server. They served some of the best beef ribs soups ever. I have tried a few of their soups and some of them were pretty bland and more suitable for Korean palette, but I highly recommend any soup with beef ribs in it as it greatly improved the taste of the soup and my favorite is the spicy beef ribs soup with dried cabbage, which is super good!
google avatar

Nicole N.

Yelp
omg so good. First of all I love places with purple rice, so we were already off to a good start. I got #18 Won Gi Soo Yook Vitality Plate which comes with beef baby back ribs, cheek meat, knee, fat removed beef, and beef brisket,, YUMM. Very delicious and it didn't feel that heavy, despite how much meat there was. The soup was light but so yummy and I felt quite healthy and revitalized after eating/drinking it :D All of the meat was super tender and delicious as well! It fed 2 people, so safe to say the serving size is pretty good. I'm not from Texas, but safe to say I would come back if I'm ever in the area again!

Yelp
I'm a big fan of Korean food, but this place was just not up to snuff. Having a lot of trouble understanding the hype here. Ambience: 2/5 A bit of an off smell upon entering. Tables and chairs quite plain. Feels a bit like a hospital cafeteria. Not great. Service: 2/5 One employee minding the front of house, spent most of his time checking his phone. We had several folks with us who had not tried seollontang before, and I ended up having to explain to them how to eat it. The waiter did not offer any assistance. Tteokguk: 2/5 Rice cake soup was severely lacking in rice cakes, and as a result, wasn't filling. Very unimpressive compared to how I make this at home, and how I've had this elsewhere in the US. Ox Bone Soup with Brisket: 2/5 Brisket was not terribly good, and there wasn't much of it. The soup itself, as is typical for seollontang, was very bland. Drink options: 2/5 Easy room for improvement here....Wasn't much aside from canned soda, which none of us wanted. Overall, not at all worth it for the price. There are some great Korean restaurants in the area, this one just wasn't at the same level. Hope things improve.

Yelp
One of the best korean meals I've had. The menu is very simple, mostly 10 different options of seolleongtang, I opted for number 3 (mixed meat), it was a very large portion but I still managed to finish 95% of it even when I wasn't so hungry. The establishment is simple, don't let the exterior fool you. The kimchi side dishes that come with it were the perfect contrast to the rich umami full soup, dipping the meat into the soy mustard sauce with a little piece of onion was pure perfection. Anytime I am in town, I will be at this spot, see y'all there.
google avatar

Ariella N.

Yelp
Both the seolleongtang and galbi tang came with purple rice, everything tasted pretty good-- I personally enjoyed the seolleongtang better than the galbi tang, but can't go wrong with either.

Yelp
Read the reviews before arriving in Texas from Hawaii. Was looking for some authentic Korean soups and noodles. This place didn't disappoint! It wasn't too busy so the service was awesome. I'm sure in their peak hours, service would be hectic. It was nice and clean and the ambiance was very welcoming. Took me back to when I was in the Army, at Yongsan Base. Itaewon had some fire places to eat!
google avatar

Joseph F.

Yelp
I am torn giving this restaurant 3 stars because the food was quite bland to my taste and I would not go back. However, my Korean SO liked it so I believe my the food is not necessarily low quality. Rather, this type of food may just not taste good if you haven't grown up with it. The prices are not that cheap. Still, it may be worth trying for some. Service was quick and courteous. The interior is clean and modern.

Yelp
We needed a place for lunch and I'm not familiar with the area at all, this popped up on my search and, at a glance, saw some good reviews so I made the executive decision to head here. We pulled in to a tired looking strip with not a lot of businesses that appeared open and felt a tinge of disappointment until I saw the restaurant which looked very much in business. There were customers seated at three tables so they weren't terribly busy, but it was a Tuesday afternoon past the usual lunch time. I did take note of how clean the place looked, even my friend who works part-time in a Thai restaurant made a point of stating. I'm guessing the owner took care of us, he was welcoming and very sweet. We had lots of questions about the food in general and also about the area and he was happy to chat. After I ordered, the tripe soup with cabbage, he checked to make sure that I was aware that the soup is actually spicy. The soup came bubbling hot. The spiciness was fantastic! I'm not an expert on Korean soups (I'm more familar with Korean BBQs) but this was refreshingly delicious! I'm going to have to start paying more attention to soups and learn all their names now :)

Yelp
One last meal before we got on our flight, and we decided to have Korean over Texas BBQ. My GF found this restaurant on yelp since we were in the area, and we drove over instantly. We were looking for something on the lighter side before our flight, something soothing before we finally go home. It was around 5pm when we got there, so it wasn't busy at all. I was expecting the usual Korean menu selections but this was something different that we've never really had before. All the dishes were beef broth based, with each dish being a little different based on meat selection etc. I went with the #9, beef rib with brisket and knee, and my GF went with #2, brisket. We were both hungry at that point but excited to try something new as we both love Korean food. The sides came first; kimchee, kimchee picked radish & kimchee green onions. There was also a sauce for the meat. I really liked the kimchee and the radish. Typically I'm not a huge fan of kimchee but the kimchee here was pretty good. The flavor was good and it's not as fermented as some places. The radish was my favorite as usual and I didn't touch the green onion really. When our food came, we were pleasantly surprised. The broth comes a little bland, so add your salt and pepper accordingly. I added 2 scoops of salt and the broth was instantly amazing. My dish had 2 huge beef ribs, a ton of brisket and a ton of knee (tendon). The beef rib was so good, still on the bone, tender with a little bit of chew. You dip it into the sauce and it was delicious! Be prepared to get it stuck between your teeth. The brisket was tender and the tendon was soft. It also came with some mushrooms and a little bit of noodle. My GF had so much brisket in her bowl. We both devoured our bowls and couldn't believe we never had this before. We were so happy with our food, I can't wait to try it again and hopefully there's something similar back home. I could eat this again instantly. The waiter working was very nice and checked in on us often. The prices were fantastic. A MUST try if you're in the area and love Korean food. We left Dallas feeling full and soothed. It was a great end of our trip.

Yelp
I could eat here every day not be disappointed. In fact, it's in the rotation for weekly date nights with my husband. The staff is always friendly and fast. The prices are fair and the food is excellent. I also love that k-pop is playing too.
google avatar

Jennifer W.

Yelp
Came here for brunch after watching YouTuber Mike Chen (strictly dumpling) Korean Ribs Breakfast. FYI- This is not a place to eat if you're vegetarian. Food was so good. The broth not too heavy
google avatar

Alan Z.

Yelp
Came here for an early dinner and I had a good time. Got the Ox Bone Soup since I was feeling something lighter. It was really good and I enjoyed how they had noodles in the broth too. I added salt and pepper to match my taste and put in all the green onions. The side dishes were pretty good too, I really liked the radish and the onion. The other ones were decent but not as much in my style. Their barley tea was also pretty good. The service was quick since I was there on a weekday and the waitress was very polite. The restaurant is kind of location in a place where you wouldn't really expect a restaurant but other than that everything was good.
google avatar

Aiko K.

Yelp
Probably one of my top go-to comfort restaurant! I come here when it's hot, when it's cold, when I'm feeling under the weather, when I'm trying to cure a hangover, and just overall.. when I want good food that'll always hit the spot. My boyfriend always likes to tell me, "every time you ask to come here, I never want it but after I start eating, I remember how good it is." The owners told us they opened another location in Plano too. Glad to see them expanding!
google avatar

brenton m.

Yelp
Absolutely looove this place!! Every time we come to Dallas this is a must for us. We also found out they do frozen orders to go, so we got several orders to go as well. Just great and no nonsense food, gives comforting feeling just eating it.
google avatar

Lam B.

Yelp
We tried the ox bone soup with beef brisket and beef baby back rib soup. There were lots of meat in the ox bone soup but it was extremely bland. The beef soup had more flavor but the ribs were tough. Loved all of the bonchons and especially the purple rice. The server was very understanding and helped us a lot.
google avatar

Craig B.

Yelp
Horrifically bland and tiny soup portion for $17 plus tax and tip. I got the beef cheeks. Banchan was good, but soup was terrible even after I added salt and scallions. Tastes like some sort of weird spa food. I went here because a YouTube guy made a video and said it was good. What nonsense. Don't go unless you want the blandest food
google avatar

Olivia Chris L.

Yelp
The food , wow! Best Tta Roh Guk Bap here in Dallas! I say 4.5 stars. I flew from Wilmington, North Carolina to try this soup. I was so excited I forgot to take a pic of my soup. Smh. Lol. The Banchan (side dishes) were cabbage kimchi, green onion kimchi and radish kimchi. Very simple, but the flavor of the sauces adds a bit more umami-ness to the soups. You just have to try it for yourself. Friendliness and service was good. Gentlemen that waited on us were very nice. Ambiance is pretty simple, laid back. It's located in a bit strange location at strip mall, you'll have to really look for it. It's worth it!
google avatar

Vania B.

Yelp
Ordered the galbitang soup to go and wasn't impressed. I've had more flavorful galbitang from other restaurants, and they skimp out on the noodles (maybe not in person but certainly for takeout orders). To be fair, they did give a good portion of rice, but I haven't seen other restaurants intentionally offer less noodles when ordering soup for takeout...
google avatar

John C.

Yelp
We absolutely love this spot for their Korean soup! The broth is super flavorful but not too salty and it's filled with ingredients. The menu is very simple and there're no bad choices. We ordered the ox bone soup and rice cake soup, both were fantastic. Each portion comes with the usual side dishes and rice. If you like, add a little soup to the rice and it's delicious! Definitely stop by if you like authentic Korean seolleongtang.
google avatar

Seraphina C.

Yelp
Location: Conveniently located in a plaza with ample parking Service: Great, attentive service. There was even a robot that brought us our banchan! Food: Beef soup with ox tail (gom tang)- The server told us our soup did not come seasoned, so we had to add our own salt/pepper at the table. The broth was very rich and full of flavor. It came boiling hot and there was plenty of oxtail, which made the price worth it. Baby back rib soup (galbi tang)- The soup had a strong herbal, medicinal flavor and I loved it! The meat was very tender and came off the bone very easily. Banchan- Great collection of side dishes with very flavorful kimchi and radish. They offered free refills, so we definitely asked for more.

Yelp
SUMMARY: A much beloved seollongtang restaurant that has two locations in Dallas and North Dallas. This one is in Plano and we thoroughly enjoyed the food and service at this location w/ our friends who are long time residents of Plano BACKGROUND: Wife and I were feeling in a soup mood after spending a cold day at the Dallas Farmer's Market and we decided not to go straight home and meet our friends. They suggested DS without hesitation so off we went. FOOD: Yes, very delicious and dare I say shades of what my halmoni would make me decades ago (RIP grandma!). One thing that impressed me was how clean the broth was, no big globs of fat. Clean, simple, and ready for seasoning. I decided to get the most expensive soup the ox tail soup. I tell you, I have not paid this much for ox tail soup! I will say though since my parents owned grocery markets, I really never knew how much ox tail soup cost until I was an adult and bought it at restaurants. Anyways, DS was pretty generous with the ox tails so I didn't feel like I got taken like how it is with the majority of SF and the Bay area Korean places where we used to live years ago. SERVICE: Really good! The staff was on the younger side and they were very prompt with the food and very friendly. Everyone at the table agreed at how well we were treated there, despite what others have said in reviews. RETURN VISIT? Yes, we loved this place. A lot of people say "Try Hanbat" but I've been to Hanbat in LA many, many, many times, but I'll try it in the future here in Dallas. But for now, DS hit all the marks and we'll be happy to return in the future.

Yelp
It's weird for me to rate this restaurant, because I can understand why others enjoy the food here, but my personal taste buds really don't like this style of food. Pretty much every entree here is some kind of soup with a different type of meat, vegetable, and/or noodle. The broth and meat are quite bland, and I wish there was soy sauce or maybe miso available to help season the food. If I had to rate everything solely on taste, I'd probably give 2, or maybe even 1 star. Would I come here again? Probably not because it's just not what I enjoy taste-wise. However, I can appreciate the cultural background behind the food here, so I'll rate the restaurant 3 stars.

Yelp
In town visiting from Phoenix and saw the reviews that this place had great food. Checked it out and it delivered! Great service and very friendly owners. Our Galbi Tang and Ox Bone soup were delicious. Highly recommend visiting this restaurant!
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious and perfectly filling food, welcoming and attentive service, and a peaceful atmosphere. 5/5 will absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone who comes through Dallas. Ox tail soup + galbi tang were excellent.
google avatar

May G.

Yelp
I got #3. The soup was pretty bland. My mom makes soup that tastes like something, but the ox bone soup didn't have much taste. The meat was good, but kinda bland too.
google avatar

Sandy N.

Yelp
This was my first experience here. I love how friendly the staff were! The restaurant itself was very clean. When we sat down and ordered, there was a pretty cool robot machine that delivered our rice and kimchi. Pretty neat :) We ordered the number 8- has a slight spice to it. Ribs were delicious! This was my fav out of the other one. And number 10 which was spicy but in my opinion too peppery. I wish there were just a bit more meat. Overall the experience was nice. I will have to come back and try the other soups to really see what this spot is All about!
google avatar

Winnie T.

Yelp
Odd though they only serve barley tea instead of water. You'd have to buy the water bottles if you want water. Small variety of menu items to choose from. Honestly, if you're not that hungry you can share the large soup with someone. Place is pretty spacious, wasn't too busy when we came by mid afternoon. I might come back to try out the other soups next time but won't be my first choice here.
google avatar

Jax H.

Yelp
Good quality soup. I always love some good soup and they are probably the best Korean soup you can find in the area
google avatar

Alice V.

Yelp
Delicious bone broth soup with their side dishes. First time seeing a robot server..lol!
google avatar

Melanie T.

Yelp
There's a reason there's 5 stars. The galbi tang was so delicious. The galbi was cooked just right where the meat just slid off the bone. The broth was tasty and clean. I love the side dishes and they pair really well with the soups. I loved the purple rice and kimchi. This is a great hangover soup with a lot of nutrients and ingredients that are great for your health. There is this robot that comes over to deliver your sides. This is the second place I have seen this robot or maybe Colorado is behind on restaurant tech.
google avatar

Briana N.

Yelp
This is such a good spot if you're just craving a hot homey comforting soup! I love that you can salt and scallion the soup to your taste and that it comes with SO much meat. Every time I thought I ate all the meat, I kept finding more! This happened like 4 times. The banchan is super fresh and is a nice sour contrast to the hearty soup. And I'm a big fan of the purple rice. Not to mention, this is a pretty healthy meal and I left feeling very refreshed.
google avatar

Loanne N.

Yelp
Coming here makes me feel like I'm getting a big hug. Seriously drinking their soup cures anything in my body. It's a very low key place with indoor seating and parking outside. The owners are so cute and attentive. I always get the ox tail soup but will be back to try some of the others. They provide salt and pepper for the table so you can adjust taste accordingly, along with a large bowl of scallions on the side so you can add it into the soup. I like that you can adjust yourself because I hate when soup is too salty. They provide a few side dishes but not a ton, just some kimchi. Rice is included with it as well. The menu is super simple and they only sell soup, so come here if you're looking for something warm and comforting!

Yelp
Was really excited to try this place. Was disappointed. Came with a free tea, pay for water bottles, server seemed disappointed to be there, spoke little English and wasn't very helpful. The banchan was ok. The soup came out and was so scalding hot that if you eat it too soon, the flavor is indistinguishable, so I'd recommend waiting as it was definitely better later. Overall, I still didn't think the soup was great, I'd put it below an average pho or ramen restaurant although this was my first Korean soup so maybe I'm just not a fan of Korean soup. My buddy wasn't impressed with his soup either although I don't remember what it was.

Yelp
Food: 5 Decor: 3 Service: 4 Came here with a friend and her husband for dinner and was super happy with the food. The banchan was very tasty. 15. - Yang Hi Soo Yook, 78 Delicious. Came out as a huge bowl, and everything was great. The broth was rich and flavorful, the meat was tender and delicious, and the other ingredients complemented well. Service was great, and they speak Korean. Will definitely come by again the next time I'm in town visiting.

Yelp
I was in the area and decided to stop here for lunch because it was a really cold winter day out in Texas. I got the chadol seollong tang. The soup came out piping hot and with green onions on the side. At first taste, the soup was bland but I realized you had to add your desired amount of salt. There was a generous portion of beef and it was tender. The rice noodles inside reminded me a bit of Vietnamese pho. The assorted banchan tasted really fresh and added flavor to the main dish. I especially loved the radish kimchi. Inside feels cozy and like your Korean grandma's kitchen. The service was good and I appreciate my server who wrote down the name of the complimentary barley tea for me! The ice cold tea paired well with the hot soup and the flavor was really good so I wanted to buy it the next time I make an Hmart trip LOL. Overall good experience! Would recommend if you're feeling under the weather or if it's cold out

Yelp
Based on a recommendation, we decided to check out Doma Seolleongtang. This restaurant specializes in authentic Korean soups. We had the #1 seolleongtang and I had the beef cheek soup. Both dishes were delicious and came out piping hot. You can add salt, pepper and scallions at your own liking. Both dishes were served with a bowl of rice and banchan. This restaurant was pretty popular with a steady stream of customers. It really is comfort food and we enjoyed our meal.
