Domain Northside is simply the best. I LOVE this place. It has everything I need, from great shopping to amazing restaurants, all in a beautiful, clean, and safe area. Whether I’m here to shop, grab a bite, or just walk around, it always feels like the perfect spot to spend the day. Definitely one of my favorite places in Austin.

Kasi Casillas

Google
It’s a vibe. The cocktails are good, strong club energy, cute cabanas, and aesthetic areas. Visited during the day towards sunset on a weekday so it was not crowded. The top level apparently is open on the weekends.

We had a perfect shopping & lunch with a family of 7 persons. Free parking, not crowded during week days

The Domain is a vibrant and upscale destination in Austin, offering a diverse array of shopping, dining, and entertainment options. With its beautifully landscaped grounds and stylish architecture, it provides a sophisticated and enjoyable atmosphere. Whether you're looking for high-end fashion, unique boutiques, or a delicious meal at one of the many restaurants, the Domain has something for everyone.

Google
Great shopping area but be ready for premium prices that could be found for less in a different place. Domain has a lot going for it but it’s high end and knows it. That being said it is worth a trip in Austin just for the night life, some VR fun, food. I would shop here if you demand high end and upper class.

Google
Great spot to hang out. Picked up some ice cream and tacos this trip

Google
I like Domain because it has a vibrant environment for any type of outings. It's suitable for families and has a romantic aura. I like taking walks and exercise a silent art of observation of the environment. They also have different events and seasonal themes.

The domain is fantastic for shopping hanging out barhopping or eating. Several beautiful high-end stores and they even have a free birds boots! We love taking our time and walking on the lovely landscape streets and lounging in the general areas. Great shopping can’t be beat.

Yelp
I've walked around this lovely and expansive shopping district a few times while in town and every time I've felt inspired. They have a little bit for everybody and the selections are very diverse; they sell all types of things from tech to furniture to gift shops galore. There are a bunch of eateries, cafes, and dessert places as well, so when you're tired of shopping you can fill your stomach up easily. So far, my favorites to hit up are the Amazon Bookstore, Herman-Miller, Gong Cha, Bakery Lorraine, Theory, Apple, and the beautiful earthy-themed Starbucks. I'm excited to try out more places here post-Covid, especially the bars and clubs. During my recent visits, I noticed all the festive touches the whole place seems to add to each venue and major walkway. There is no shortage of cute photo ops and murals for those wall pics if you're trying to spice up the feed! Another plus is that parking is FREE and there are a ton of spaces since they have different garages available. If you're in Austin or Round Rock, you should def come visit and spend a few hours perusing this impressive behemoth of an outdoor shopping mall.

Yelp
Why is there a dead raccoon at the South entrance off of braker Lane ...still? Nobody wants to see this after a whole week. Embarrassed?

Yelp
So this is ultimately a gigantic shopping district with lots of different businesses. The good news is they also have several bars which have some cool stuff in them and around them so you certainly have lots of entertainment options. There are plenty of hotels, restaurants, grocery options, dessert joints and an overload of shopping options as well so those checkboxes are taken care of nicely. They also have apartments here so you can even live inside this big shopping district so you might not ever need to leave this space! They have a LOT of parking with lots of parking garages and other free parking yet somehow it can still take awhile to find a parking spot here sometimes. Overall this is certainly an interesting spot to visit.

Yelp
Overall this was a pretty decent event...it was hot but we all had a good time. I loved all the activities that were offered just wish I had more time due to the lines were somewhat long and moving slow for some. I definitely enjoyed the setup, decor, and different vendors. The bracelet bar was fun and they had great service and were very helpful and friendly. The art activities looked great but didn't get to participate. I would definitely check out another event here.

Yelp
NORTHSIDE!!! I love the shops, restaurants, treats and the vibe here. Parking is free, but there may be times where you have to drive around the parking garage to find a spot on the weekend. It really isn't that bad (trust me I don't have much patience). I use shopping as an excuse after we dine here so I can walk off the calories. Lol Lush and Sephora are my go to shops here. Then I walk to Sprinkles, Frost Gelato or It'Sugar for sweets. This area is popular and they have cool events here. Family friendly ones for the kids or concerts so you can sit back and enjoy some music. Be sure to check their page for events.

Yelp
There is PUH-lenty of stuff to do in this area but it's on the pricey side. Lots of dining choices, places to shop, loft style apartments, bars, lounges and a couple of hotels within walking distance. It's a great place for daytime shopping and dining and then it comes alive at night and keeps going to the wee hours. Everything is thoughtfully laid out along one long street and there are a couple of parking garages one block away from the main street. Almost every restaurant and bar has an outdoor patio area to hang out on. The nightlife crowd seems to be a bit on the young and trendy side.

Yelp
Just starting to get use to living inside of a commercial shopping center. Clean, lots of walkways, stores. Nice apartments and apparel. Now here for 7 months on my 1 year term. I did not ever expect to see street grafiti next to the likes of Neiman Marcus and Lious Vuitton? What in the hell is happening to America?

Yelp
This is a new section of the Domain District which doubles in size with new retail, residential, office space and hotels. Nordstrom anchors this new section but some may say the Apple Store does. The new stores are refreshing and will see some new national brands and local ones. The restaurants are very good and foodies will like. This new space is designed to be very walkable. Unlike the original Domain section this area is not a straight line, so great to wander in circles. The Archer hotel makes a statement where trend setters stay or have brunch at Second Bar + Kitchen, and have heard they have an excellent pool scene. Looks like many retailers choose this location to open first stores in Texas which makes it exciting to visit. Restoration Hardware is a must visit where it has four stories to explore and the rooftop has the best view of this whole place. I was told by some employees some bring a bottle of wine to enjoy at night and yes I have been here at night, and what a view. The best addition to this development is Rock Rose where 6th Street has been duplicated. Even some of the same bars and entertainment are here. This allows those who live North Austin to avoid having to go all the way downtown where they have it all here without drug addicted homeless bums walking around. The place is also very clean and can be blocked off of vehicles. I imagine this place wakes up at night where there are some places that only open at night with rooftop patios. There is plenty of free parking or go lux with valet parking available. The original Domain is just a street over and with the two you can pretty much spend the day here and even into late of night.

Yelp
The NORTHSIDE is where it is all at... lots of new restaurants and shopping... they even have valet parking for 8$! Tip: park in the purple garage and cut through the building and you'll be in the area with everything. Save the 8$! The places to eat are a whole experience on their own... on this side of the Domain... I've eaten at several of these locations now and we enjoy it bunches! It is also a great night life area too! The NORTHSIDE is set up well and very nice!

Yelp
Long-time Austinites remember when the land that has become The Domain was once open fields and IBM offices & recreation facilities. There was a big hullaballoo when it was sold in 1999 and the plan for redevelopment became public, but as we've seen elsewhere across town, these projects are often hard to stop. The first part of the transformed area opened in 2007 and it has continued to grow and fill in ever since. The original Domain I and II were eventually sold to Simon (the shopping mall company) and have veered toward a mostly generic commercial zone full of national chain stores and restaurants, but Domain III (branded as "Domain NORTHSIDE") remains managed by Endeavor and is described by them like this: "Austin's best homegrown businesses with a thoughtfully curated list of benchmark brands and first-to-Austin experiences. Fashion, home interiors, beauty, dining and nightlife--you can call it home, stay the night, spend the day, enjoy the community and expect the uncommon vibe that keeps Austin together." So, what can you find on the Northside? Whole Foods, Nordstrom, a massive Restoration Hardware, several small high-end shops, the Rock Rose strip of pedestrian-friendly bars & restaurants (many of them Austin originals), a few major employers like HomeAway and Blackbaud, some apartments, plenty of accessible parking (with tons of free ChargePoint EV chargers in the garages), and hotels Aloft and Archer. Access is easiest from the Burnet/Duval exit off Mopac, or from the east side via Burnet Road (near Top Golf). If you live north or otherwise frequent this area, it's worthwhile to follow Domain Northside on social media and sign up for their email list to learn about new biz openings and upcoming special events. Third Thursdays from 6-pm are for adult fun in Rock Rose (including live music & lots of discounts), and First Wednesdays (10a-12p) are for daytime activities for pre-school kiddos (including costumes, crafts, and music). This year, there will even be some SXSW action happening in March. Perhaps I'll see ya there!

Yelp
It was too hard to get to the parking places. The place I wanted to eat was too crowded. They should have ambassadors out to give friendly directions.

Yelp
This is a neat high-end outdoor mall shopping and eating area. My friend brought me here when I landed in Austin for lunch and we went to the Restoration Hardware, Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams, David Yurman, Tiffany and a few stores to shop. Not every location has all of these stores specifically so it was nice to be able to go into them and shop around for items I can't easily in one place in smaller towns. There are plenty of restaurant and dinner options so you could easily make a day out of a visit here and there are quite a few parking garages located around so you can park at one end if you are specifically visiting a store without having to walk your butt off to get around. Friendly assistance and great options.

Yelp
Fancier than the original section of the Domain. The shops and restaurants are more expensive, and there's even a super nice nightclub. You can shop, eat, party, and even get a hotel room...all in one day/evening/night. There are even residences if you want to enjoy the Domain on a daily basis. Easy access to the nearby soccer stadium, and just a quick drive or bus ride to anywhere in North Austin.

Yelp
Pardon my incorrectness, but this is where the hip & cool white people are at. Whatever you think of the neo-residential/retail industrial complex, Mueller always strikes me as being family oriented, but Domain Northside has got to be a single person's dream - the best perk ever for having a real-paying job & a very cool dog. Whenever I hear someone bitch & moan about how shallow or superficial this place might be, I'm thinking they probably dislike Las Vegas too. So don't go there. Because what you have at Domain Northside is the best & brightest of Austin's 6th street, and the latest & greatest in modern retail. But without the usual puke, piss, or screaming kids that frequent the malls. And even if you don't live here, you can definitely have a fun night out, with lots of places and tons of parking. Everything is a casual stroll away, the late night hours keep increasing, and you kind of wish every night was starry starry at 75 degrees. I'm not aware of a sushi venue yet, but there's pretty much everything else. And when you have to have a last-minute destination for out-of-towners, Domain Northside has you covered. The only thing I'm even mildly curious about is how often the residents here jump on MoPac for a big night downtown. I'm inclined to think it's not every weekend.

Yelp
We love it here Shopping eating and friendly place to help you pick up what you want! Cafe is great foods Happy hour is great!

Yelp
Busy busy, but if you plan ahead where you're going you can plan your parking to be as close as possible to where you will be going. Very well kept and modern. Plenty of shops and restaurants, but signage could be a bit better especially if it's your first times it can get confusing, but other than that I have really enjoyed myself the times I have been there.

Yelp
Will not be shopping here again after seeing their flyer that is being circulated around the city. Very upsetting that they are willing to exploit Latinos by having a Salsa night but we our not their ideal shoppers? Really.
google avatar

Blessing B.

Yelp
I've been here a couple of times and I like that they have a variety of stores and restaurants. I recommend Sprinkles for dessert, The Park if you want typical bar food (like quesadillas, wings, fries etc)and punch bowl social if you are in the mood to play games while eating. There's a middle eastern store that has beautiful scarves, bags, clothes and jewelry for a reasonable price. It's nice to walk around and explore the area.

Yelp
This is our favorite go to for a good time out on the town. We love several of the restaurants, and have spent a good deal of time in them and also just walking around watching the people. There is a good variety of stores to browse through when you need some AC, on those hot Austin days. Nightime is the right time for the Domain Northside, because of the great happy hour specials at most of the restaurants. It's a great place to see and be seen. They even have a shuttle, what a deal! Parking isn't a problem, which is a miracle in this city. It's well worth the trip here, a good time is just waiting to be experienced.

Yelp
Wow, just went shopping there today, and had I known that I should have drove my son and me there in a BMW wearing my overpriced clothes, I would have gone somewhere else. Such a shame that they put out this tasteless flyer, because I really like walking around here and perusing the shops and eating the food here. Little did I know that my hard working, yet middle class income, was not the "ideal" shopper status. Shame on you all for wallet shaming and being discriminatory towards certain clientele. Shout out to Lush (always friendly and down to earth), Apple (great customer service), and Alex and Ani (patient while I tried to decide which bracelet to buy). Sorry you guys have to be represented by these arrogant snobs. https://media.kvue.com/assets/KVUE/images/568282022/568282022_750x422.jpg

Yelp
Horrible brochure. Now diversity training? Really? You knew better. And if you didn't, well, that's even worse. Shame on y'all. You lost me as a customer.

Yelp
I may have rated this higher. Enjoyed a great meal at Yard House. However, I'm beyond disheartened and frustrated. Tonight on our recent trip to Austin, someone stole my Yeti Tundra from the back of our truck. It was covered in a blanket and strapped in. We were parked in the garage while having dinner. The security guards advised us that the garage camera views are not very good and would probably pick up nothing. Happy New Year. Hope they really needed it. ATX trip 1/1/19

Yelp
I shopped here on 10/17/2018, and couldn't have been happier with the customer service. A huge shout out to the girl who took special care when I mentioned that a good friend of mine was going through chemo. She immediately handed me a soothing bath/shower cleanser to give to her. (Salesperson1028296) This particular friend was very touched to receive the gift! Thank you so much! :)

Yelp
Great mall with a small variety of shops and restaurants, a little on the expensive side so not really for me but there were some other shops that weren't as bad when it came to prices. Nice location and would definitely go back.
google avatar

Sarah S.

Yelp
Fun place for the whole family, lots to do and kid friendly. Lots of designer shops and great restaurants.

Yelp
I really enjoyed the stores that this area provides. There's the typical h&m and zara to high end like LV. There's department stores like Nordstrom and Neiman's if you're looking for that. And there are so many restaurant around the parameter if you get hungry! There are plenty of parking garages everywhere so parking is super easy!
google avatar

Mackenzie S.

Yelp
I love the domains. It has everything you need or want in one place. So many stores to choose from, adorable little shops, jewelry stores, makeup stores, frozen yogurt (Frost), and some really good restaurants. Love to come to just walk around. So much better than having to deal with the traffic downtown.
google avatar

Kendall Y.

Yelp
This place is so cute! Very modern. Practically speaking, they have a ton of shops and restaurants and parking isn't too bad. It's a really cool place just to walk around and enjoy Austin. I recommend going to Rock Rose. I definitely want to come back and check out some of the bars & clubs. I walked around on at Saturday evening and there was tons of live music. Would be a good place to take your friends from out of town.

Michell B.

Yelp
Management is either unable or not interested in maintaining residential living. In the last few weeks we've had power washers at 1am, leaf blowers at 5:30am, 77's roof going above the norm on weeknights, Hat Creek power washing the play area at 5am. I'd say living in this area comes with noise. That's normal and something people sign on for. They don't expect management to contribute in avoidable ways to breaking city noise ordinances.
google avatar

Novera K.

Yelp
As a student from UT, this was the place all my classmates recommended. I checked it out and I was definitely not disappointed. I would parallel the domain to Houston's city centre or la centerra. It was clean and pretty, and lots of upscale stores. Definitely check out Lush! The small businesses were very interesting to look at, with sleek and entertaining insides, made for a millenial. There are lots of different places to eat, and lots of nice photogenic areas.
google avatar

Yelp
On 11-12-2018 at approximately 5:30 pm I arrived at valet to have my vehicle parked , at no time did any of the attendants come over and open door to inform service . Due to not actions I was dissatisfied with service.
google avatar

Darla Y.

Yelp
So first time being here! I liked how you can walk around the domain and shop around. I also liked how there's an electric car that can take you where in the Domain too! The place looks really clean and is dog friendly which is awesome! Would definitely go back there again if I came back to town again.

Yelp
I love the new Domain Northside! Much much better than the original Domain. I come here every weekend because all the restaurants are great! I love Velvet Taco, Flower Child, Frost Gelato, Culinary Dropout, and Paul Martin's! They also have Warby Parker which are the glasses that I have and the new Nordstrom is super nice. I love how relaxed and enjoyable this area is. I'm always satisfied to come whether it's with my girlfriend, my friends, or my family.

Lovia D.

Yelp
Google said this was 15 minutes away from my home it turns out it was 35 minutes, in the middle of nowhere. Parking impossible, all surface parking lots taken because there is a Whole Foods grocery store next to the mall. The parking garage is hidden and we had to go all the way to the top floor to finally get a spot. The parking spaces are very now I could barely fit my car
