Le K

"This imposing stone building located close to France's borders with Germany and Luxembourg has retained its family atmosphere. At Le K, beneath impressive timber ceiling beams and a Treviso crystal chandelier, chef Benoit Potdevin proposes refined and delicate cuisine that is in tune with the times. Diners are spoilt for choice with his plant-based "Market Garden" set menu and his signature dishes. A few examples: crab's legs and claws in a refreshing Calamansi vinaigrette, served with caviar; chanterelle and shiitake tartlet with lovage; line-caught stone bass, artichokes barigoule and a poultry jus with red wine. Meanwhile, at the more informal Le Komptoir, tapas and wood-fired cooking." - Michelin Inspector

My partner and I recently stayed at this hotel pppfor one night, enticed by its promises of luxury and relaxation. However, our experience fell far short of expectations, leaving us thoroughly disappointed.||Upon arrival, we eagerly headed to the spa to unwind, only to find it overcrowded and lacking in amenities. Despite paying a hefty sum of 430 euros per night, we struggled to find a spot in the pool and were left to awkwardly perch our belongings on a bench due to the absence of available sunbeds. To add insult to injury, we were instructed to reuse our spa towels throughout our stay—a practice unheard of in establishments claiming to offer premium service.||The shortcomings continued at breakfast, where the meager selection left much to be desired. The absence of fresh vegetables beyond basic cucumbers and tomatoes was glaring, and our disappointment turned to disgust when my partner discovered mold in their bread. Additionally, my request for coffee with soya milk, due to a milk allergy, was botched as the coffee arrived mixed with regular milk, with soya milk provided separately—a baffling oversight for a supposedly upscale establishment.||Amidst these disappointments, the only saving grace was the dinner service, which exceeded our expectations with its quality cuisine and attentive waitstaff. However, this lone bright spot was not enough to salvage our overall impression of the hotel.||In summary, our stay left much to be desired. From the underwhelming spa experience to the lackluster breakfast offerings and concerning oversights in service, it is evident that this establishment falls short of its purported 5-star status apart from the fact that the premises are nicely furnished and we had a great experience at the dinner.

Stopped by to visit the spa area. It’s available for drop-offs without hotel booking from Mon-Thu. It’s quite enjoyable, not crowded, but the sauna was under maintenance. The views are magnificent.

Beautiful hotel. Super clean. Nice large room, the bathroom was super-sized with a very large round bathtub. Great peaceful views over the pool area and where they train the horses. I liked the breakfast buffet, with a nice bottle of champagne at the drinks section to get you started in the right way before your walk/hike/sightseeing. Staff is friendly, professional, and if you (like me) took a French class 20 years ago, you might need to dig deeply in what you learnt as English is not very well spoken in this establishment. But it's a 100% thumbs up. Great stay.

This was our third time staying at the hotel and it did not disappoint. We hired electric bikes one day and relaxed in the spa the next day, my husband and ate in both restaurants which were superb. As a treat we had breakfast in our room 2 mornings.||We would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to return again soon for longer!

What a fantastic hidden gem just south of Luxembourg. The arrival was excellent with friendly and professional staff. The room was completely as described and of high quality. The Spa area up to date and even though some renovations were going on outside good solution were put in place to shield from the noise. |Breakfast was simply excellent. We will be back.
