Very bad experience not aligned with expectations.|1) Roomservice: At the arrival the personnel walked me to the room but we had to walk back in the Domain hall and wait as my room had some electrical issues. My new room was provided with a beautiful bath and shower (even if bathrobes were not in the room at the arrival) but unfortunately air conditioning was not working properly and we were freezing. The staff proposed me an upgrade but unfortunately this third room was without bath and corridor before room entrance was still not warmed properly|2) SPA: I booked a 30 minutes couple massage but it started 10 minutes later so in the end it was only a 20 minutes massage; the pool is not warm so it was difficult to enjoy a bath in January. In addition, changing room had a broken mirror and shower soap holder was broken as well (I had to shower without shampoo)|3) Overall experience not aligned with 5 stars expectations, here some examples: asked for fresh orange juice during breakfast and the personnel told me the machine was broken, asked for bikes to go around in the wine yard but apparently they were also under maintenance, In the first room the light system was very bad and low and when taking shower the bedroom was going to be wet as there were not appropriate barriers; in the second room some furniture was broken and there was only a very small wardrobe not enough for 2 people |Overall I have to say the Domaine is very nice and the staff is warm and pleasant, but the experience is absolutely not a 5 star one!

What a lovely place! The room was fantastic. Dinner in the Restaurant MARCELLE. The food was good but Service not so professional and we waited to long for the food. More than 3 hours for two courses is absolutely to long. Next time we will join the Brasserie.

Domaine de Verchant — a new level of comfort in our favorite hotel We stayed yesterday, and this time we tried one of the new rooms. After many visits, I can say this new addition to the Domaine Classic collection is simply exceptional. It truly feels like staying in your dream home — everything is designed for pure comfort, from the heavenly soft towels and linens to the cocoon-like bathtubs. You almost forget the outside world exists. I have already mentioned in previous reviews how excellent the restaurants and the Spa are — and I still strongly recommend visiting them even if you are not staying at the hotel, but simply spending a day in Montpellier. But today I wanted to highlight this new room category as a completely elevated experience. Finally, a special thank you to Cristofer. He has been here for quite some time, and from our very first stay he has always delivered exceptional service. He anticipates what you need even before you know it yourself. His attention and care created an unforgettable stay, and introduced us to a new level of comfort at our favorite hotel. We are already looking forward to coming back.

IT was my most horrible stay in a 5 star hotel ever. ... and I visited many of them around the world.||In the completely new building neither the heating not the lightning worked propoerly. We expienced twice a free «disco feeling» because the lightning system went crazy.||The staff appered helpless and argued «… it can happen, ist a new building…». Only after wem ade a lot of noise we got a new room on the second day, which was not much better because the lightning system didn’t work either.||The SPA is a location without rules, people are using their smartphones, take pictures and videos in the SPA/POOL Area, other guests eat and drink in the sauna||In the restaurant they forgot our reservation fort he 2nd evening and reacted without empathy, just arguing, take the seat (somewhere in a drafty corner) I give… the restaurant is fully booked (which was not true)||We have a house in Malaga and travel frequently by car from Basel to Malaga. After the first stay in summer 2025 we thought we found a nice place to take a short break and relax from the long drive, but this hope vanished into thin air.||

Amazing property with first class service. Great place to stroll around or just relax. On-site wine tasting. No need to search for a winery. Yoy are less than 5 km from airport or train station. A real nice exclusive getaway. Will definitely come back.

My partner and I stayed in a Double Room with Pool at Maison Verchant for our honeymoon, and while the hotel's setting is beautiful if approached from the right direction, we were consistently let down by the service and amenities. Our stay was unfortunately defined by a feeling of being unwelcome and a lack of clear communication. The issues began immediately, with no parking spaces available at Maison Verchant on our arrival. Once we'd carried our luggage across to our room, we thought we'd try our personal "heated pool", a big reason for booking the room that did, but it was so cold it was unusable; in fact, it was colder than the Nordic ice bath in the outdoor spa opposite, which was luke warm and unmaintained. Our pool area also seemed neglected and would have benefited from a jet wash - photo attached. When we then tried to use the main shared pool, we were turned away for not having a reservation, a requirement we were never told about, even though the pool area was completely empty. This experience was repeated at the hotel's restaurants. When we tried to dine there, we were again told that they were all fully booked. It seems very unusual for a hotel to not be able to accommodate its own guests, and the way we were questioned gave the impression that we were in fact just not welcome. We didn't argue with staff during these moments of our stay, as I would not have felt comfortable being somewhere that I was not welcome, and we were trying to enjoy our honeymoon. However the level of service was so poor that we did express this on checkout, but we were just told to wait for a manager, who after 30 mins had still not come. Overall, we were extremely disappointed and it's quite obviously somewhere we would never return to or recommend.

I booked a room in the new building. The design on the surface looks pretty but what does it help when the whole building is damn cold and the heating system doesn’t work. Also the lighting system had a complete breakdown and the minibar and towel heater don’t work either. The excuse is “… oh, it’s a new building, ut can happen…” REALLY??? After addressing this several times to reception nobody seems to be interested to fix these problems quickly. This stay is a very expensive complete disaster, I haver never spent my money in a worst way. .

Probably my top pick for lodging in Southern France. Get the suite with epic bathroom and french doors leading to full balcony with lounge chairs. Complete gym with all new equipment. Pool is phenomenal as it is big enough for true lap swimming while having an infinity edge overlooking the vineyard. Spa puts the best in any major city to shame. This place is more of a destination as the surrounding area is not that great but there is no reason to leave here. Good 48 hour excursion for cocktails, nice food, swimming, spa, and workout. Parking is not clear as you should leave your bags near this little caretaker house otherwise it is a trek to the rooms from the main lot. I strongly suggest not to miss.
