A Beautiful Setting Undermined by Poor Service and Lack of Professionalism The location and ambiance of this establishment are undeniably beautiful, offering a promising first impression. Unfortunately, the quality of service and staff professionalism falls far short of what one would expect at this price point. The overall experience was extremely disappointing, marked by a clear lack of attention to customer care. There was little to no consideration shown for guests with dietary restrictions—particularly those with food intolerances or those following vegetarian or vegan diet. While the setting suggests a high-end experience, the service delivered fails to meet even basic expectations. Regrettably, I cannot recommend this place to those seeking a professional, inclusive, and customer-focused dining experience.

ONLY HAD DINNER Dinner here is an absolute must. The grounds are spectacular, the staff are so friendly and the food is delicious. It’s a romantic spot. Make sure you’re comfortable driving up those roads!

Unforgettable. Rustic and delicious food full of flavour. We went on a Thursday when they were doing the seafood barbecue. The setting was incredible; out in the open air watching the sunset with an apero, and then sitting down at a table under the stars to a feast prepared over the fire!

Beautiful place… however… We had one of the worst dining experiences here. We booked a table for 7, but upon arrival were told the reservation was only for 5. When we explained that it might have been a misunderstanding and that now we are 7, we were told they only had enough food for 5 people — which was shocking for a restaurant. To make matters worse, one of our group overheard the waitress complaining about us to her colleagues because we raised the issue. When confronted, she was rude and even raised her voice at her “de quoi jme mele, je discute avec mes collègues” When the food finally arrived, the portions were for 5, despite there being 7 of us. The final straw? The waitress accidentally spilled an entire glass of wine on two of our guests, and instead of helping them first or even feeling sorry about it, she left to clean herself. Overall, appalling service, poor organisation, and zero professionalism. We will not be returning and definitely won’t recommend it. Tant pis !

This is not the typical bed and breakfast. It's more of a luxury boutique 'experience' hotel, like the Zannier hotels. The location is a 'hameau', a remote mini village in the nicest area of Provence, in the Vaucluse. The place has been renovated to a luxurious standard. Our suite was very large, with two air conditioning units, keeping it cool during a heatwave yet quiet. The uniqueness of this location is that it is south-west facing from the tallest point in the area, so you get incredible sunsets on the horizon. You do not hear any airplanes, you do not hear any cars, it is plain nature, which is a luxury these days. You share your stay with wonderful dogs who protect the goats against wolves. They are gentle giants. The tradeoff of the location is you are a 20 minute drive away from the rest of civilisation.

Beautiful place, quite remote, stunning setting. We loved the vibe and the service. Our room was also simple but “rustic chic” and very comfortable. We would return. Just one comment on the food which we thought cooked very rare, even the pork which we found off putting.

Went for a lunch at the restaurant. I would rate the food 3. The place is really in the middle of nowhere, in a good way. A very quiet drive up and you are in a relaxing haven. The property is really beautiful and we got sat below massive oak trees for the lunch service. It is a set menu - which you have absolutely no choice on. Everything comes out rather quickly and without any particular order, which in our opinion was a bit messy and out of point. The food as a whole was nice, though nothing was really mind blowing. They served some stale bread, a goat cheese starter, followed by a cheese and charcuterie board, a plain leaf salad, a green bean salad, pea soup with a poached egg and some a galette like onion tart, which was actually the highlight. Although we mentioned our dietary requirements in advance, they didn’t really respect them. Once we complained, they made us another dish, which was the only protein we got over the meal, and it wasn’t good. We barely touched it and no one bothered asking why. Seating for 2 hours on a stone, getting bitten by bugs and having spiders climbing all over you, is a bit much, even considering the lovely scenery. It’s quite pricy for what you get, so all in all a nice experience, but would not go back again.
