Domaine La Forêt

Four of us had lunch here on a Sunday. We ate on the restaurant's terrace - lovely views down into the valley (past a few petrol stations). The food and wine were very nice and service was excellent. We especially enjoyed selecting cheeses off the cheese trolley at the end of our meal. Two of us ordered from the set menu and two ordered a la carte. All the food was delicious. One of our party was bothered by a few pesky wasps. The restaurant was able to call a taxi for us to our next destination. Overall, a very pleasant dining experience. A short walk uphill from Remich.

Good restaurant but very slow service…

I traveled to Remich to celebrate my buddy's birthday and to discover the Luxembourg wine country along the Moselle River. I did my research and decided upon the Hotel la Foret. We were not disappointed in the least.|First, Christophe answered all of my questions and concerns about visiting Luxembourg in the weeks/months before the trip. He also provided me with unternet links so I could arrange winery tours in the local area.|We found our rooms clean, spacious, and quiet. The breakfast buffet was outstanding!|And because of the birthday celebration, we booked the gourmet wine dinner (paired with local wines with every course) to be exquisite (From my research, Hotel la Foret is the only local hotel which offers a room rate complete with gourmet dinner/breakfast.|Finally, besides Christophe, I found everyone of he hotel staff to be friendly and welcoming.|All in all a most wonderful experience, from first to last.

Had a great stay. Location is fantastic, next to the forest for walks. It was very easy to walk down into town. The evening meal at the restaurant was outstanding, fantastic & friendly service, wonder wines from Luxembourg & one of the best cheese plates ever. Would love to come again.

This hotel was SO disappointing, my Dad booked it for his 70th birthday and took the family away and it was just not what we had expected. Inflexible staff, dirty rooms and no clean towels, despite asking more than 5 times!! Location is good but the service lets this hotel down. Be warned!!

We spent a night at Domaine La Forêt in Remich.||The room (a luxury one) was very nice - only 'side' comment is that the bathroom is a bit 'old' (especially the shower). Still, very nice. The room itself was very comfortable, despite being in front of the main road - thanks to good windows, we were not disturbing by the noise (of course, with the windows closed). The beds were fine; that a bit weird that the 'couette' is not a big one (in fact the king size bed is made of two twins beds).||The restaurant for the dinner was great - the place was presenting well, and we took, the 6 courses dinner with wines. Every course was tasty and well presented. The staff was also very nice, with the hotel manager coming to say hello. Disappointing that the Chef wasn't coming to visit - most of the clients were staying at this hotel for the cuisine I believe. Side comment - we were invaded by small flies ... so we change table because of that. A tasty experience !||The breakfast was probably the weak part of the stay: not that much choice, and poor quality for the coffee (water coffee). The buffet looked empty when we went there, even if it was only 30 mins after its opening.||So all in all, a nice place to stay for those willing to enjoy a 'simple' and 'tasty' stay.|

We went to this hotel as a birthday gift and we were very happy about it! The rooms are cosy and warm. The bathroom had a shower and a hot bath thub which we fell in love with. The sauna and swimming pool was also very relaxing we loved it! Unfortunately we couldn’t test the hamam because it was out of order but that was for sure not a problem especially with all the service around. The breakfast was one of the best we ever had in a hotel. Especially the Crémant in de morning was very appreciated by us. The saturday we went to their restaurant and took the menu degustation with the wine and we had a great time! The food was super good and full of flavor. If you need something else you have a supermarket and a pharmacy right next to the hotel! Definitely a must try in Remich 👌

we had an amazing stay at this hotel. The 6 course dinner was exceptional. The hotel and amenities are really clean and relaxing, their spa was perfect! All the staff are so kind and helpful. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely come back!
