"I was struck by the story behind this small, low-intervention estate: François Maujard left finance after 2008 to train in viticulture and oenology in Beaune and created the domaine in 2016, now farming 7.5 organically managed acres spread over five Moselle villages and housed in a refurbished farm in Marange-Silvange. Their focus on single-plot, single-variety cuvées produces wines with clear character, and Chef Nicolas Fontaine singled out the 2020 Lacey pinot noir for its intense color and silky, palatable tannins that in blind tasting reminded him of a Burgundy pinot." - The MICHELIN Guide
