Had dinner at this Korean black pork BBQ spot tonight, and wow—absolute perfection! The pork was tender, juicy, with that amazing charred edge from the grill. The marinade had just the right balance of savory and a hint of sweetness, complemented perfectly by the fresh sides and lettuce wraps. Every bite was a flavor explosion. Hands down one of the best BBQ meals I’ve had. Highly recommend!

Had dinner at Dombedon. Ordered a black pork belly 2P set, the portion is quite big and it came with boiled pork, steamed egg and soybean paste. The restaurant is quite spacious. A lot of tables and good for as big as a group of 8 people.

Everything here was perfect!! Great Jeju-style black pork belly, spacious (with its own parking lot) and amazing service :) 10 mins away from the airport and 5 minutes away from the market. Highly recommend!!

Kitty and I were originally planning to cycle to another restaurant six kilometres away, but the chilly Jeju weather (a brisk 10 degrees Celsius) made us change our minds. We decided to walk from Hotel Whistle Lark Jeju to Black Pork Street instead, and that's where we stumbled upon Dombedon. The inviting ambience, Michelin Guide recognition, and celebrity endorsements piqued our curiosity, and we decided to give it a try. We were greeted warmly by the staff, who quickly set us up at a table. Dombedon has a warm and inviting atmosphere, with exposed wooden beams and a rustic-chic decor. The restaurant is spacious and well-appointed, featuring multiple tables, built-in grills, and a mix of chairs and benches. The lighting is subdued, creating a cosy and comfortable setting. We ordered the Dombe set, which featured a variety of flavorful black pork dishes, including steamed pork and black pork mix. The steamed pork was particularly memorable, especially when paired with the salt and soya Sriracha sauce. The black pork was tender, succulent, and cooked perfectly. The servers were attentive and cooked the meat to our liking, making for a truly enjoyable dining experience. While the side dishes were generally quite nice, the seaweed wasn't quite to our taste. The special black pork sauce was a bit watery for my preference, but Kitty loved it. The presentation was also lovely. They served the Makgeoli in a beautiful, chilled metal bowl, adding a touch of elegance to the meal. Dombedon lives up to its high Google rating. It's a must-visit for anyone seeking a taste of authentic Jeju black pork. The quality of the food, the friendly service, and the charming atmosphere make for a memorable dining experience. We were also pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary cold udon after leaving a review for them on their food, service, and ambience. Overall, Dombedon is a top-notch restaurant. The food is incredible, the service is excellent, and the ambience is perfect for a special meal. If you are looking for a place to enjoy Jeju black pork, this is a must-try. We highly recommend it.

I think this is the most lovely restaurant in Jeju. The black pork is extremely delicious, I like the hangjeong the best. The staff are super friendly, one of them even helps me to park the car, as we missed the car park. And the staff can speak fluent English. I was thinking should I visit one more time before I fly to Seoul.

Quite disappointed with this place. The BBQ didn’t taste like Jeju black pork at all — just very average meat, nothing special. We came because of the high Google rating, but it’s likely inflated by the offer of free Naengmyeon for leaving a review. Also, not family-friendly — no baby chairs available, which made dining with a little one quite inconvenient. Wouldn’t recommend if you’re looking for authentic black pork or traveling with kids.

Good place for black pork. They have sets for 2 or 3 people. Server spoke English, was able to help us order. Had also cooked the beef on the hot plate. Very tasty.

The food was good though the sauce for the pork had a pungent aroma, so I used the salt instead. The cold noodles were super good! Service was fast and easy.
