Visited around 5 pm and there was only one other table occupied. The restaurant is spacious and comfortably fits groups of four or more.
We ordered the black pork belly 2-pax set for 57,000 ₩. Do note that rice isn’t included, but you can add it for 1,000 ₩. The set also comes with a few banchan (side dishes).
The pork belly was extremely fatty — you’ll either love it or find it too much. Unfortunately, we fall into the latter group and left most of the fat behind. The set also includes steamed egg and soybean paste soup. I really enjoyed the steamed egg — simple and tasty — while the soup was decent, though my husband found it a bit spicy.
Midway through grilling, my husband noticed there were hairs on the pork skin, which I hadn’t realized earlier. It was quite gross if you’re eating the skin — if I’d had a pincer, I would’ve plucked them out, haha.
Service-wise, the staff were attentive and helped with the grilling, frequently checking to make sure the fire stayed steady. English menu is available, and the waiter who served us spoke good English, which made ordering and communication easy.
