Le Dome Restaurant

Had a lovely dinner here at this Michelin restaurant in old Riga town. Staff were attentive and we loved the palette cleanser and little extra tasters given. The butter was amazing, had to try hard not to fill up on this and the bread!! (So light and fluffy) Not a great selection of reasonably priced red wines, always good to have some reasonable pricing even at Michelin star, although I do appreciate there has to be mark up. Starter, oysters were fresh and fabulous and the special fish turbot, although a small portion was cooked to perfection. Steak was excellent also and an enjoyable night was had. Something a little lacking with ambience but service was excellent and happy to definitely recommend! Hope to visit again!!

The summer terrace of the restaurant is wonderful! Every month my friends and I go to one of the restaurants in Riga for new impressions and delicious food - and it was the right choice. Excellent service, original and delicious dishes, a magnificent view of the towers of the Old Town - all this made our visit unforgettable. Highly recommended!

Lunch on the top roof terrace on a very warm May Saturday. A small hidden gem at the Dom, just 4-5 tables with 12 seats. High quality food in a gentle price range combined with a nice selection of good wines - also smart prices. The service was top notch. Only wish is, please use the big green egg you have and do barbecue even for lunch!

Amazing local culinary experience! The restaurant deserves to be featured on the Michelin guide. Humble simple service - polite and helpful. The desert plate made from real wax was truly special. The only negative: a drunk man was seated in the restaurant and disrupted the dinner. Would expect more attention to the atmosphere in the restaurant. The staff did amend the mistake and promptly apologized.

When you find a perfect blend of cosy rooftop terrace, attentive service and sensational food, it is time to say - this is the best restaurant in Rīga. Thank you. Amazing!!!

Excellent food and service, very professional. Some extra courses (amuse bouche, intermediate course and bread) are served as well. Listed in Michelin but without any stars (yet).

This was one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long while. The food, the wine, and the service were all top-notch. I almost want to come back to Riga just to go there again. (I say almost because there are obviously a lot of other reasons to visit Riga.) I honestly can't believe I was able to just walk into the place and get a table. I think in NYC, I would have had to reserve way in advance. My only slight criticism was the classical covers of rock songs. To me, that was a bit cheesy, no pun intended. If you have such excellent and original food, why have covers of songs?

Very under impressed with this restaurant. Most food and drinks served room temperature regardless if they were meant to be hot or cold. Flavors of dishes did not match well and some weren’t even enjoyable to eat. Some dishes were similar to others I’ve had recently at other Michelin or Michelin recognized restaurants and the others were far more flavorful and better matching etc (and some far less expensive).
