Dome Hotel

We only ate in the restaurant but it was superb. The tasting menu was beautifully balanced and the experience was adapted for this demanding (not really but…) pescatarian alcohol free guest. The vegetarian beetroot alternative to the foie gras/caviar/gold leaf dish was quite one of the most beautiful plates of food I’ve ever seen. The service was charming and smooth. One little thing, just as we were leaving the lights were lowered to a less bright setting, it was much nicer like that. Thankyou for a lovely evening.

In a great location in Old Town! hotel was very nice and clean, sauna for use on the top floor was nice. Very friendly staff. Only complaint was the bathroom - the way it was laid out was not ideal. The door to the shower was an issue - got stuck a couple of times and the way things were placed made it less functional. Rooms were clean and quiet. Breakfast was good. Would stay again!

What an incredible stay for our first time in Riga. As soon as we entered the hotel, we were met with the warmest welcome. The staff were attentive and helpful. They provided us with a map, and identified the local attractions in the city. |Our room was spacious and clean. It had everything we needed for our stay. Breakfast was freshly cooked each morning and tasted delicious. |The hotel lobby smelt divine and was lovely after a day of sightseeing. Thank you for making our first experience in Riga so fantastic. We will definitely stay again.

We are a couple from Scotland that wanted to experience the pleasures of the Turkey coast. We chose the Dome hotel Belek mostly due to its excellent reviews. The hotel, the sea view room, the food, the premium drinks, the sun beds, the beach, the swimming pools were all excellent. Of the six days weather, one was relatively wet and the following day though dry was very windy. On the other four days, the weather was excellent, not too hot and ideal for sun bathing. All these things would justify a five star rating.||We were however left disappointed. There was virtually no entertainment, even on the wet and windy days, and after 9pm the hotel bars and lounges were virtually disserted. We normally enjoy socialising with other guests but in our six days we found no one to talk to. There was no welcome meeting at the hotel that might have identified other English speaking guests, but that was not arranged. As we have said the room was excellent but the large television had only four English speaking channels and these were all news channels. No English speaking sport or film channels or video facilities that would have been particularly welcome in the poor weather days.||The hotel did arrange transport to the golf courses, about 3 minutes drive, but no other trips to local destinations that would have required us to book taxis. Our holiday rep suggested there was nothing worth visiting locally.

This hotel is well located adjacent to Riga old town, so almost everywhere walkable. |We had the tasting menu in the hotel restaurant which was very good and beautifully presented and served.|The hotel is very nice in every respect, except for our en-suite bathroom. First, we couldn’t find the light switch, and I even went down to reception to ask where it might be. The bathroom is black – walls, floor, bason, loo. The light switch also black, on a black wall, well INSIDE the bathroom, beside the shaver point. Our room was spacious and well appointed, but the bath room is effectively a glass box, with curtains for privacy.

What a Gem! So glad I found this boutique hotel right in the heart of “old town” Riga. Only a handful of rooms, each unique and very nicely appointed. Elevator or stairs to get you to the rooftop bar that’s open seasonally. breakfast is amazing in the Michelin rated restaurant downstairs. The service by the front desk was terrific as well, always helpful with transportation or other advice.

I am very happy with their service! They are dog friendly, their restaurant can accomodate people with dogs in separate room. Service is friendly, if you have special requests, they can help. Absolutely happy! They will give you welcome drink while you wait for check in, nice move!

We stayed at this hotel on the 6-7th August and it was a truly terrible experience! When we entered our room we noticed immediately that a very loud noise was coming from the mini bar fridge in the room. After about 30 minutes putting down our belongings, we left to visit the town, but before we left we spoke with two women at reception to let them know that the refrigerator was broken and the noise was too loud to be able to sleep (it was a mechanical pulsing noise, we also took videos and showed the receptionist upon return, who agreed it was not possible to stay in the room!) they said they would either repair it or move us. We spent the evening exploring the city, and came back at 11pm, whereby the refrigerator issue had not been solved and at that point we were informed that there were no other rooms. The receptionist (who was a young man at that point was apologetic and promised us a full refund understanding that we could not sleep in the room) we left the hotel and booked another last minute room - walking across the city at midnight at this point. I cancelled the room, requesting a full refund in booking.com that night. A couple of days later we called the hotel requesting the refund again, again they promised us they would, but said they had no message from booking.com in their inbox. We called booking.com who said the hotel had not responded to their request - they escalated the problem. Again, the same roundabout - this time with the manager getting involved and again promising a refund but saying he had no way to give us the refund. Almost two months later we have never received the refund and the hotel has ignored us after this. We are super disappointed in this hotel and we recommend everyone to steer clear of it!
