Domingo Restaurant

Absolutely amazing issues the day before, but it was so made up for by. JP is the best server in the world. His energy is awesome and it’s complimented by the amazing food that he is serving us and taking great care. We really recommend coming to this restaurant and asking for JP and the food at the brunch session is so good.

We visited Domingo for brunch, drawn by the buzz and beautiful location along the River Walk. The atmosphere definitely delivers – stylish, open-air seating with great views and a lively, upscale vibe. It’s clear that much of the appeal is the setting itself. We tried the Elote Corn Street in the Skillet and the Green Chili and Chicken Enchiladas. While the presentation was nice, the flavors fell short of expectations. Both dishes were just okay — not quite matching the hype that surrounds the place. It’s a popular spot, so definitely make reservations if you’re going on a weekend or holiday. All in all, Domingo is more about the ambiance and riverside experience than standout food. Worth a visit for the setting, but keep food expectations modest.

This is kind of what you’d expect from a hotel restaurant. Super expensive for what it is, drinks are really sweet and not super strong. The view and atmosphere was pretty incredible. Truly hated the birds though. They are aggressive! Puffing out their chests, brushing against your hair as they fly by. I did like the cocktails, just wish they were more lethal. The chips and guac felt very store bought, nothing exciting there. The breakfast burrito wasn’t spectacular either. The potatoes on the side were super good though. I wouldn’t come back here. Maybe just for a drink at the bar because I like the atmosphere. You have to take an elevator down from inside the hotel lobby to get here. Parking is pretty much paid garage only.

The food was delicious and the ambiance was wonderful. There is a bit of wait as it can get busy on the Riverwalk. They only serve a lunch and brunch menu and shutdown at three to open and 5 for dinner service. I would have enjoyed that more from the looks of the sparse menu for the earlier open period. The hamburger and salad was amazing though and service impeccable. I would recommend this as a stop.

A Beautiful Setting, Room for Improvement Domingo's restaurant is a stunning spot, with ambiance that's truly captivating. However, the food didn't quite live up to expectations. While it was "touristy" good, we found it didn't match the excellence of other San Antonio eateries off the beaten path. Despite glowing reviews, we couldn't justify a 5-star rating for the cuisine. Perhaps with some menu tweaks, Domingo's can match its atmosphere."

Hands down one of the best meals I’ve had, not just in San Antonio but anywhere. We stopped by Domingo after working out at The Canopy, and it exceeded every expectation. Ended up running into Executive Chef Jonathan at the Hilton elevator—great guy, and it shows in the quality of the food. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly executed. Shoutout to David, our waiter—super solid service without being over the top. Highly recommend. Will definitely be back.

Best part of my trip to San Antonio!!! Maria is the BEST server I swear. She is helpfully sweet and always willing to serve 🥹 She helped me pick my drinks and my meals as I am picky and a super indecisive individual. Thank you Maria for making my day! Even got me a cutesy flower to post for my instagram 😌 If you’re looking for truly fresh food or a picture perfect scene, this is the place to be! *For the price we got 4 Cocktails 😇 P.S. Sit outside to get pictures like me. BUT REMEMBER- You are in Texas. It gets a little humid. You are next to the river.

We were visiting San Antonio so it’s our first time dining here and we asked Maria for her suggestions when it comes to the food. She did a really good job and everything tastes phenomenal! The shrimp cocktail was amazing especially paired with their home-made chips! We were really happy about the food. She also has a great personality and made us feel important. Highly recommended!!!
