Google
These are the absolute best hotdogs in NY. I gave it a 5 for everything including atmosphere bc they've been there for like 50 years. They're super nice and fast and again...best dogs in NY. We live in Suffolk county and drive out occasionally when we are in queens to get them

Google
The only thing bad was all the cameras trying to catch people speeding or taking a red light while driving here. There was plenty of parking. The hotdogs from this truck tasted great. I ordered the chili cheese dog and two everything dogs (that comes with ketchup, mustard, onions and saurkraut). The guy wrapped the chili cheese dog in a paper plate with aluminum foil and my first thought was that the chili and cheese was going to ooze all over the place. Well, it made it all the way home in perfect condition and still warm. I've never seen it wrapped with such care. I'll have to try wrapping my homemade dogs this way. It looks like they keep the truck clean. They also have a 2nd truck that sells Philly cheesesteaks and sausages.

Google
Super fresh and delicious hot dog! 4$ with any topping of choice. They have sauerkraut, onions in tomato sauce (super delicious) chili and cheese. Staff could have been a little more friendly but still would come back.

Megan Snyder

Google
By far the most incredible hot dog in new york city. I love the husband and wife team, they are a dynamic duo! Especially since I'm originally from out town, they always make me feel like family! I always love get chilli cheese dog 🌭

Google
Is there anything better than a good New York hot dog? That's rhetorical, we all know that a true classic NY hot dog hits different. This amazing hot dog truck is keeping it "old school" and is a staple in the community. They use a blend in the franks that they use and it's authentic beef. The mustard that they get is only available for them and nobody else can get it. The sauerkraut and buns are steamed. The chili and the onions are both homemade. This is a fast paced truck and they get your order out quickly. They are located on woodhaven Blvd and conveniently located. If you want a good tasting glizzy come check this truck out. If you want to see more check out @the_avid_glutton_foodie on Instagram.

Google
Dominick’s has been part of Rego Park for a very long time and they have been known for amazing hotdogs. As someone who loves hotdogs I can say that Dominick’s is the best. There is a satisfying snap to every bite of the hotdog. Their onions and kraut has a crisp freshness to it and their mustard is delicious. Their hot dogs might cost a bit more than other places but it is definitely worth it and it is reflected in the quality of hotdog you get. The truck is a bit out of the way to walk to on Woodhaven but it is still worth it.

Lori

Google
Delicious hot dogs 🌭 Their homemade onion sauce is so good & the cheese sauce is very good as well. Their truck is parked on Woodhaven Blvd next to the cemetery roughly between 80th St & Cooper Ave. You'll see Their iconic blue Dominick's Hot Dogs truck. I got 3 hot dogs, cheese, onions, & plain w/ 1 Snapple & 1 can of root beer totaling $16

Google
Fresh quick and delicious . Wish they had a sign 100ft up the road sign so you can plan to pull over. Caution: these are hot water dogs. Grilled dog fanatics may have an issue w that. One of the great things about Woodhaven blvd!

Jerry C.

Yelp
We came down from Waterbury CT just because we heard such rave reviews and we were not disappointed. The natural casing foot long hot dogs were phenomenal. The price was very reasonable for a foot long with toppings. Also the two servers were so friendly and welcoming. We wish we lived closer!!!

Yelp
Bring cash!! Hot fresh hotdogs with great service. Nothing like eating a $4 hotdog on top of the hood of your car right next to a cemetery, am I right? We got 3 hotdogs and 1 soda (super ice cold) and it came out to $14. Hotdogs are made in batches so it's nice knowing they're gonna come out hot and fresh. Loved how the buns are served warm and the hotdogs have a nice snap. Chili cheese dogs are familiar and delicious, love the beans in it. Line moves fast and wait time doesn't take that long, highly recommend Dominick's if you're ever in Woodhaven.

Yelp
Holy Shit! These are the BEST hot dogs anywhere!!! I moved away 12 years ago and this is a staple when i visit. Airport to Dominick's! I'll be there tomorrow and cannot wait.

Yelp
How cool is it that this hot dog truck is still in business. Dominick's Hot Dogs has been in business for decades and continue to serve their community just like they have been doing since 1959. That is a long time and a lit of hot dogs. How cool is it that this hot dog truck is still slinging hot dogs after over sixty years? That is quite an accomplishment. I also like that they are still selling Sabrett hot dogs and have not switched to smaller sizes to maximize their profit margin. It is good to know that some people are still honoring old school expectations. This is nothing fancy about Dominick's Hot Dogs, just an old school hot dog truck selling hot dogs and soda at a fair price. But than again, there is nothing fancy about hot dogs nor should there be. A hot dog is the original street food and Dominick's Hot Dogs produces a hot dog that shows why a hot dog is such a beloved part of New York City. So, if you are craving a hot dog and a chance to eat a bit of New York City history, head to Dominick's Hot Dogs. You will appreciate this meal far more than some fancy sit down meal in a place heavy on ambiance. Hey, the street itself is the ambiance here and the people and traffic of New York City are the moving pictures in the background. Head on over and see why Dominick's has been around since 1959. I give it a solid five stars.

Yelp
Update from last May, the size of the hot dog justifies the price. The onions are home made, however they are good but not great, .UnlIke most hot dog vendors, whose onions are warm, the temperature of these onions were hot. my rating stays the same, Four Stars

Yelp
Been eating hot dogs here for over 20+ years and just realized that I never wrote a review for one of my all time favorite food trucks. For those in the know, this was once called the best hot dog in NYC. It's just simply one of the most delicious hot dogs in all of NYC. Nothing fancy, boiled Sabrett wiener on a soft pillowy bun, dressed with grainy mustard, sauerkraut and onions. Yet, for some reason I crave it. Do you prefer chili and cheese on your dawg? They have that too, both for $3.50 each. Only other items on their menu is a list of $1.00 sodas. Parked daily next to a cemetery on Woodhaven Blvd, near 65th Drive, this hot dog truck has been serving its loyal followers since 1959. If you ever think of the famous NYC dirty water dog and shutter in disgust, this will certainly change your mind. Mmm, I want one now!

Yelp
Went today order two hotdogs with everything, unbelievable, the hotdog is fresh and juicy, and they are very friendly people, thank you very much

Yelp
Been going here for YEARS! My favorite hot dog anywhere. Service and food are second to none.

Yelp
What better way to end the year with a hot, fresh hotdog with mustard and onions. (We can debate ketchup vs. mustard later), but anyway you like it, it's delicious.
google avatar

Yelp
Staple in Middle Village / Rego Park since my parents took me in the 80's. The BEST .

Brian M.

Yelp
A staple in Queens even when I moved to Long Island I drive into Queens on Saturdays the hot dogs are terrific
google avatar

Yelp
Frankly, I dunno what the fuss is about. Just like most hot dogs sold in NYC (except for Kosher dogs), it's a Sabrett dog, but with a natural casing, which is better (IMO) than a skinless dog. But their dogs are boiled. I greatly prefer a grilled dog. The D'Angelo's sausage truck, about a block away, uses a skinless Sabrett dog, but they grill them. I think those are far better, even though they're skinless. And I think that Papaya King's dogs, even though they're also Sabrett dogs, beat them both. They're spicier and have far more flavor. But except for no-Nitrate dogs, almost all dogs sold today are junk. They have fillers and soy in them. Read the label at the supermarket - you might be shocked.

Yelp
Went here for a knish which is pretty hard to find. They were really good. Very filling (mustard and onions). Figured I'd have myself a Hot day since it's what they are known for. The hot dog was very good. Like a NYC street hot dog except double the size and much softer bread for half the price!
google avatar

Sam H.

Yelp
Absolutely the best hotdog in NYC! A true Tubesteak! Onions are great! Give them a try, you won't be disappointed with the snap from these Dogs.

Paul D.

Yelp
Good quality delicious onions are great enjoy they are very tasty. And the people are friendly

Yelp
I lived in Forest Hills for 30 years and I used to love coming here for a couple of dogs they were always hot and the buns were always fresh Definitely worth the price
google avatar

Yelp
I reckon I first became consciously aware of this hot dog truck in the late 1980's or early 1990's when I would drive by while working in the area. I stopped by a couple of times way back then and remember the hot dogs being fresh and delicious. So I was in the adjacent cemetery today visiting a dear departed friend and decided to have lunch al fresco. Still fresh. Still delicious. Three hots dogs with mustard, sauerkraut and onions. $3.50 per dog. Such a deal.

David G.

Yelp
One of the best hotdog trucks around. Owners wear masks and gloves. Truck is very clean. Hotdogs and onions are great! Plenty of free parking. I am taking off a star because no prices were posted where you can see them. You have to ask how much. They pack the dogs well.
google avatar

Jb S.

Yelp
Anyone and everyone that lives in NYC knows about the original street vendors hot dog. And with so many being out of business, I was lucky to find this place. They have all the original toppings from the street vendor's hot dog, which tastes great, but their hot dog itself has a nice taste to it also. With a bit of spice and flavors. I would have given them a 5 star. But I took 1 away because they're not consistent on working days. According to yelp and Google. They don't do business on Saturday and Sunday, but sometimes when I went on other days, they weren't there. I guess it's because they are a food truck so they can just go somewhere else to do business? Not sure what the reason, but 3 out 10 times I went there, they weren't there

Yelp
Growing up it was all about Eddie's Hot Dog truck in Corona and the last time I visited it was long ago. Now I've discovered Dominick's truck. These hot dogs are pretty great, I mean you can't really get better than Sabrett's. Cooked perfectly so you get that awesome snap when you take a bite and served in a soft steamed bun which they hang over, these are pretty hearty dogs. The homemade onions are delicious, I'm usually not a fan of hot dog onions because I find them too sweet, but not the case here. The sauerkraut was also delicious These are the hot dogs that will make you remember why you love a good hot dog.

Diane S.

Yelp
awesome great prices fair a little gem truck in queens greattttttttttttttttttttttttttttt
google avatar

Mike T.

Yelp
Best hot dogs in the city hands down - no frills old fashioned hot dog truck that totally does it right - no other cart/truck can compare !!
google avatar

Michael G.

Yelp
Growing up a kid in Queens, Dominick's hotdog truck was pretty much a staple for me. I've been coming here for the better part of 30 years and it is still the same delicious all beef hot dog that I remember as a child. Priced at $3.50 this is still one of the better deals I have come across. The pure all beef hot dog is gigantic. It out stretches the bun by a good 2 inches on either side. It is a natural casing frank so you get that snap when you bite into it. The dog itself is flavorful and has just the right amount of spice. Both the sauerkraut and the onions are homemade and to me they are a must!. I highly recommend that if you are in the area and you are craving a hot dog, stop by Dominick's hotdog truck. You will not be disappointed. These are seriously the best hotdogs I have ever had.

Kenneth S.

Yelp
Truck on Woodhaven Boulevard in Rego Park has been there forever he sent three daughters through college and you know what they took over the truck gold mine he used to serve bigger hot dogs than any other vendor I saw because I was a hot dog Vender we used to buy 11 to a pound or 10 to a pound Dominic bought eight to a pound he made great onions all together a fantastic hot dog a little expensive but it was a bigger dog
google avatar

Sean S.

Yelp
If you love hotdogs this is the spot for u!!! Omg so good!! Get them with sauerkraut, onions, and mustard!! Always leave there full! Also can't forget my cream soda
google avatar

John J.

Yelp
Still the best dog in town. One of the few hot dog stands you can get homemade onions and dr browns black cherry.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is super nostalgic to me. I've been coming here for YEARS and years. My grandfather is buried at the cemetery, he died in 1991, and I've been coming to Dominick's since then. I am NOT a hot dog fan. I dont like pigs lips and assholes. That's what hot dogs are. But let me tell you this. These are the most delicious L&A I've ever had. I get one with mustard, onions and sour kraut. YUM! Back when I was coming in 1991, the hot dogs were like a buck each. Fast forward to 2013, they are now THREE DOLLARS! Damn, inflation hurts! I will continue to come here every single time I am in NY, visiting my dad. It's part of my ritual. When I eat meat, I eat here. When I dont eat meat, I still eat here. I could be a vegan for 10 years, and when I come here, I will eat a hot dog! It's delicious and quick!
google avatar

Diego P.

Yelp
When in the mood for a great tasting hotdog plain or or with the works this is the place located on woodhaven blvd this food truck is always here rain or shine every bite of these hotdogs brings that's pops sound and explosion of flavor just how you would expect a quality hotdog should have
google avatar

Gary L.

Yelp
These hot dogs are great but the prices here absolutely suck! It's a blue truck that is parked in Woodhaven Blvd 5-6 days a week I think. I usually see a few 18 wheelers and cars pull up for these hot dogs. Just like what Sandy said, it's $2.75 for a skinless Sabrett dog with any toppings. I mean, if you're gonna just get mustard and ketchup, just buy your own pack of Sabrett dogs and make them at home. Food - Sabrett dogs. Nothing special but delicious! I normally prefer Sabretts anyway. I'm not a big fan of Nathan's dogs because they're way too salty for my taste and the rest just don't compare. If you find Sabrett's Hot Sausage dog at the supermarket, GET IT! That really hits the spot, I wished Dominick's served them along with their sauerkraut and onions. Toppings - ketchup, mustard, sauerkraut, and red onions. I'm not sure if they have beans here, I think they do. I usually just pack it with all their toppings since I'm paying $2.75 for one of them. Drinks - Soda, water, and yoohoo. Service - Quick! You'll find yourself in a line here every now and then but it moves pretty fast so no worries here. Verdict - If I'm too lazy to make hot dogs, I would come here. If I'm craving for sauerkraut, red onions on my hot dog, I would come here. It's like a 5 minute drive from my house and these guys been here long enough for me to trust them. Only suggestion I have is just eat your dogs in your car or eat it on the street. Don't wait to bring them home because the bun gets soggy from the steam.
google avatar

Edwin N.

Yelp
It's a good dog. Nothing amazing about it. Not worth going out of your way for. Wish they had a grilled dog option rather than always boiled.
google avatar

Glenn V.

Yelp
Can I really conjure up a interesting, captivating review on a hot dog truck? NO, I can't. My experience with Dominic s dates back 5 years or so, usually after a round of golf with a friend at forest park, looser pays. The dogs are superior in quality, the bun isn't long enough, about an inch and a half to two inches extends bun-less from both sides. I kinda like a bite of bun, in every bite of hot dog, I hope they find a bun that can go end to end.. All condiments are good, I go onions and spicy mustard, the other options are ketchup and kraut. Perhaps they could work in some chili/cheese or some other variable, but that's not gonna happen, so bring your own. (no dont-twas a joke) They still sell White Rock brand soda's, which I really like. As much as the dogs are great, the people are very nice..$2.75 a dog, just is not a great price.

hubert s.

Yelp
I give them 4 stars for their taste. I had the opportunity to try them once when I was passing by. After that, which was about 3 months ago. I have gone here 5 times and they have never been there again. I call their phone number and no one ever answers. And according to Google and yelp. They should be open for business but they aren't there. So I give them 0 star for the lack of consistency for opening their business and wasting some people's time. So I gave them a 2 star in total.

Karla B.

Yelp
I went on Saturday,To Dominicks hot dog truck our experience was pleasant we ordered two hot dogs with ketchup and mustard they were very good we also ordered one chili cheese dog and one chili dog unfortunately it was only beans. There wasn't any chili ground beef nonetheless we enjoyed the hotdogs. I would go back again definitely total price for the four hotdogs including Two sodas $17 was that a little pricey for hotdogs I don't think so because they really were very good unbelievably juicy so yeah I would go back again
google avatar

Francisco T.

Yelp
Great tasting hot dogs. If you're driving by and need a quick snack.. $3 for a huge hot dog. You Can't go wrong.
google avatar

Christopher S.

Yelp
The SECOND time I pull across 4 lanes park my car get out to find out they're closed .. when every other website and advertisement times they have up say OPEN. Real inconvenience why don't you fix your times so people don't have to get off of the traffic on Woodhaven and waste their time. Extremely bad advertising.. never even got to taste the food !!! Apparently 3:00 or 3:42 honestly whenever they feel like it is closing time . While yelp and every other website will say they're still open for another hour . It's too bad that every day I drive past and have to play the guessing game of if they're open between two and four or not I just won't take the chance anymore because both times I did they were closed... i'll never find out how the food taste here
google avatar

Brendan F.

Yelp
The Dawgs are excellent, mac and cheese great, chili is great. This is classic new York street food. Next time you get the cravings for something a little different, give them a holler.
google avatar

Matt C.

Yelp
In this part of town for a client meeting , and my partner in work was dead set.on hitting up this hot dog institution. I got mine plain because I didn't want heartburn , but I I take my Prilosec the next time I come to Queens I am going in hard on the kraut and the spicy brown mustard! Nice snap. Good water dogs but pricey at $3.50 per.
google avatar

Elizabeth C.

Yelp
Best hot dog in Queens! Passed by this truck thousand of times throughout my life. Stopped here once and got the best hot dog ever! By far the best in the five boroughs!
google avatar

Brett G.

Yelp
This is absolutely the number one best hotdog in all of New York if not America I grew up in New York eating hotdogs and this is the best the buns are steam the sodas are ice cold the sauerkraut is perfect the onions are tasty the people are nice go get one
google avatar

Carl C.

Yelp
Have been buying hotdogs from them longer than I care to admit.Always good and always hits the spot!
google avatar

Monty C.

Yelp
Best boiled NYC dog in my opinion. Give me one with spicy onions, one with kraut and a Yoo-hoo. Eat on hood of car between vehicles dashing down Woodhaven and the silence of the cemetery.... The real thing.
google avatar

Ron T.

Yelp
I used to love eating Hot Dogs...... Especially when I moved to NYC....... I lived by a Papaya King when I first moved to NY, for a California Boy raised on Tacos, A hot dog was a great change of pace. I learned to drive around looking the tri-state area looking for good hot dogs. Dominick's Dogs are Sabrett's, usually perfectly cooked (the "snap" is there), the home made onion relish and kraut are really good. Its hard for me to give them 5 stars for pre-packaged dogs. But Dominick's is really good. Angela the owner is really nice and they are near my hood. Its a good idea to drop by before visiting Trader Joes if you are hungry, so you do not try to buy TJ's out.

Victoria G.

Yelp
Don't bother with anywhere else. This is the place to get an excellent dog. Ive been eating them for over 60 years and this is my favorite. These are the dogs that snap when you bite. I take all the out of towners to this truck and show them what a real NY hot dog tastes like.
google avatar

Michael G.

Yelp
The Best! And Great People! Great dogs and fresh buns and add ones. Always worth stopping to visit!
google avatar

Frank M.

Yelp
This is the ultimate New York Dirty Water Dog! There are a lot great hot dogs in NY, but these are the best. If you want 20 different toppings, this isn't your spot, but if you want a real hot dog with all the great NY toppings like onions, chili or kraut, You've found your home. Whenever relatives come to NY to visit, this is one of the places they all want to hit on the first day.

Michael B.

Yelp
Very good dogs but pricey, also get rid of the tip jar already we are standing on line for a hot dog in the sun and the price of the dog nope no tip, But they are good once in a while on a cool October day
google avatar

Raul A.

Yelp
I was driving around with my sister visiting from California, and I always spot this truck a long Woodhaven Blvd by the cemetery. I decided to pull over behind the truck with my sister since we we're a bit hungry. We ordered the chill cheese dog, and it was hot, messy, but really good! Just gotta have more napkins in hand. For the price its average, and I would come back for another one again. You can't go wrong. Just a word of advice Woodhaven Blvd is a very busy road just gotta look on the driver side mirriors for on coming cars flying before getting out. It can be dangerous...
google avatar

Danielle M.

Yelp
Cleanest ny hot dog truck around. An older couple runs the truck. It's good if your craving something quick. You can pull over right on Woodhaven blvd. Very clean and taste amazing. Obviously not a 5 star restaurant but really good truck!!!
