Dominick's Pizza

If you like soupy, wet pizza with raw dough.. this is your spot. Their Ceasar salad comes with no cheese.. it’s just iceberg and croutons. For $38, this place is sloppy

It’s a traditional Brooklyn pizzeria which offers much more on the menu than pizza by the slice & whole fresh pizzas. I posted a photo of menu with prices.Pizza by the slice, calzones, rolls, zepoles, patties, mozzarella sticks & most of the carry out type food was on display in the long case on the right as you come in. There are 5-6 small booths on the left. The pizza oven is in the front too. All the other magic happens in the kitchen. We had homemade lasagna & an order of calamari. Ample portions were served. The lasagna was floating in sauce & gooey mozzarella. The calamari were fresh & not overly breaded served with a cup of tomato sauce. Both were served with fresh bread with butter on side. The sauce was good but a little bland for me but perfect for my daughter. No worries: on the table are shakers of salt, pepper, garlic, oregano, crushed red pepper, and parmesan cheese. Zepoles were a perfect ending to the meal. Little fried donuts with powdered sugar sprinkled on top, not overly sweet. It tasted similarly to a funnel cake rather than a glazed donut. We had plenty to take home for snacking later.

The owner is very nice and polite and friendly! We just stopped to get a slice of pizza and after eating it ordered the whole pizza! They have few tables indoor seating! I highly recommend this place!

Great pizza as always!! Love the garlic knots and Zeppoles!!! Just found out the owner Rafael passed away a year ago. I remember the days when Rafael (Mr. Dominick) would sell his slices for a $1 as an after school special and kids would crowd the area. Last saw Rafael prepped my slices back in 2020. Great guy and good times! 🍕🍕🍕

Place an order in Sluces, you can take it away in less than 20 minutes, it's fast and really delicious! Worth recommending, the boss has a great service attitude!

The chicken roll is they have is by far the best chicken roll Ive had in all of NYC. The tall guy with the hat and tattoos always gives the best hospitality and treats every customer like a family member. I love coming here and ive been coming here since I was in middle school more than a decade ago.

Great Pizzeria, used to go as a child then went to get pizza 10 15 years later. Still great pizza. The interior hasn't changed as well. Which brought up the nostalgic feelings I had when I went years ago.

Decent neighborhood pizza spot. I ordered a couple slices to go and they were pretty cold when I got home less than 10 minutes later which was weird to me to have gotten cold so fast but they tasted good after I warmed them back up. Pretty standard pizza shop menu, looking forward to trying more

No prices on the menu, paid for food then forced to pay again for extra cheese in the corner and this gross pizza, not to mention the young skinny bearded man that was constantly on the phone and said "we must add $5 even though you paid $17 for a medium cheese pizza with extra cheese cause you have no receipt" this is appalling service and needs to be rectified as we are never coming back to this racist restaurant ever again

came by for a little post-dinner snack at like 8:00 pm! i ordered a slice of cheese pizza for $3.26. the pizza was super yummy! crunchy crust and tangy sauce and cheese. but the flavor wasn't anything super unique. would def come back for convenient munchies.

Went there on 2 other occasions with my son. They have a new older guy that works there. He nonstop kept hitting on me. Don't. Just don't. He then tried to rub my hand when I was paying. Gross behavior. Worst thing said was "you and I can have beautiful babies." STOP! Just STOP. I'm with my freaking son.

Really delicious pizzas at a very good price. Great spot for a quick bite. I was working nearby one day and was waiting for someone so I decided to stop by and check out Dominick's Pizza. My taste buds thanked me for that. The cheese slices were absolutely delicious. There were of course pepperonis and a variety of selections with toppings but just a plain slice of cheese is enough to make me happy.

Honestly best pizza in Sunset. Can't get enough of thier pepperoni pie. Crust is nice and crunchy and you can just tell the ingredients are quality. The place is so cute , they have a few tables inside so I love coming here for a quick lunch. The guys there are super cool 10/10 recommended!

Dominic's used to be good with the old owner it just I think they change something because now it's a B, and the pizza is so greasy

when my friend was buying pizza and I wasn't buying one, there was a middle age guy who literally told me to get out like I'm just gonna be there for like a few minutes until his pizza is done and then I go out but, he had an audacity to literally kick me out because aparentlly the reason was that I was taking up his"space",(by the way I was just sitting in the tables). so he had a bad attitude. But at least the pizza is good there when I last ate there.

This used to be the go to pizza spot ever since I was a kid. But ever since the worker and owner past, the foods been trash along with customer service, maybe because the son took over. I wouldn't support them anymore.

This pizzeria is the best in the area. I can't order from there without getting the grandma slice and the chicken wings.. so crispy and juicy!! This time I got the chicken parm hero and it was soo good. It's no wonder they're always busy because the food is top quality and the workers are friendly!

This is definitely my first and last time ever ordering from here lol the woman who answers the phone has waaay too much attitude to work in customer service. I ordered a pepperoni pizza and got a cheese pizza instead. No big deal. I just called back and asked for a pepperoni and I would give the cheese pizza right back. Even exchange. The workers were trying to fight It and make me feel that I was in the wrong. Finally they came to deliver the pepperoni pizza. The delivery guy says he has to charge me two extra dollars for pepperoni lol!!!Their customer service sucks!!! The bottom of the pizza was sooo tough I only could eat the top portion. Also the prices on their website are not updated I'm visiting from California and really wanted NY pizza and had a very unpleasant experience :(

"That's a no for me dawg" *Randy Jackson voice* I thought I ordered mozzarella sticks but the what I was eating and tasting was not it. Not sure what breading was used and the cheese had to be fake. Disappointing that a pizzeria makes absolute trash mozzarella sticks. I also ordered buffalo wings, and they were sub-par. I did not eat it all and ended up throwing most if out. What they did give me a excessive amount of was blue cheese. I do not recommend, will not be ordering from here again.

Sorry I am a long time customer. But lately their prices increased tremendously. Then they get the order mixed up and then they have a attitude about it. I am paying too much money for this crap. And the food was that that good for those prices. We are not going to pay for your renovations. There are other places around.

This place has the best Italian food in the neighborhood, but the WORST customer service and the wait is an absolute killer. I called & they had me on hold for almost 10 minutes and I wish I could make this up. Also, It is normal for A 45 minute wait but waiting longer than that for any inconveniences on their part is extremely annoying. Waited half the time for the delivery and got a call back that they did not have any more of what I ordered - don't you think you should've been aware of that before confirming my order?! I ordered something different rather easy and am now waiting a hour + (since we don't know how much damn longer!) for my food! Incredible! Your food is great but get somebody COMPETENT to work your phone and deliveries! Thank you!!!!

Their zeppoles are really good. They're doughnut shaped which is different than your usual ball shaped zeppoles but when warmed and sprinkled with powdered sugar on top they are heaven. I haven't tried their pizzas yet but everyone seems to be loving their pizzas so I'll definitely be back to try one of their slices. This place has a super old school pizzeria vibe to it so I'm loving the Brooklyn feel to the restaurant already. yummy eats!

Extremely slow delivery time but usually worth the wait. The penne vodka has the right flavor and consistency and the portion is huge. Zeppoles are cheap and delicious. Pizza is thin but crispy and cheesy. Wouldn't recommend chicken francese

Dirty!!!!!! Came to this place and ordered a beef patty with cheese. The old man (not sure if he's the owner) uses his bare hands to put the cheese inside my beef patty after seeing him take money from another customer. Disgusting, also the guy who makes the pizza uses his bare hands to spread the sauce onto the pizza and then the left over sauce he uses the edge of the pan to scrape it off and never washes his hands after.

I remember this place I grew on this pizza during middle school & local to my old place when I usef to live around the area It's just you classic Brooklyn pizza can't complain I've just heard a few rumors about this place that make this be a 3 star Hopefully maintenance has been updated & better than before

I ordered food from here and had an item missing from it. I had to call and ask them to bring the missing item and it took them about an hour and a half. The item arrived cold and then when I went to eat one of the other items I ordered with it, it was made incorrectly. I was offered an opportunity to get a free item next time I order, but to be honest, what I really want when I order food is just for it to arrive in a reasonable amount of time and to come correctly as ordered. I don't think that's too much to ask for.

They get a second star because the pizza is decent but it comes complete with baked in hair. Then when you contact them to let them know (it was delivery) they don't care at all. Super delicious! Enjoy!

Pizza was seriously bland and chewy. Ordered a regular and pepperoni pie. Not even a remote hint of crispness and flavor was lacking all around. Two stars literally only because delivery was pretty quick.

Always go here great place never have anything bad to say . It's family owned . Also they do specials for the school kids , always came here ... he's a sweet hearted guy always has been . Aswell as them loosing a worker a while back may he Rest In Peace . They had pple donate to his funeral . Anyone who has bad things to say obviously doesn't know them they've been there for ages

First time trying it last night and honestly didn't even disappoint. Must say their pizza is amazingly delicious!! Was craving a half pepperoni half regular pie and it was one of the best pies I've tried! Will be ordering more often. Thank you Dominick's!!

What is it with some of these places delivering reheated pizza?? Why have a pizzeria if you're not going to make fresh pizza? Guy on the phone was very nice, but the pizza was terrible. Dough was very tough, pizza was obviously reheated and the pepperoni tasted old. Please...please... make fresh pizza. It may take a bit longer and a bit more work but it's worth it. Your costumers will be happy and you'll have even more of us coming back. I've also had a slice of BBQ pizza here and the "BBQ" sauce tasted very watered down and artificial. I'm never ordering from here again. A shame... the picture of the pepperoni pizza someone uploaded here looked pretty good.

it's an honest neighborhood NYC pizza place with great pizza & all the Italian specialties. other places around here are OK but this was especially fresh and when I got here it looked like the owner himself was serving the eager clientele on a busy weekend. Glad it's here!

Dominick's is my favorite pizzeria!! Whether im having it delivered or picking it up, they're always so friendly and speedy. Not to mention their food is delicious! My favorites are the chicken rolls - with vodka sauce ;) the pizza, and their beef patties. Yummm. Thanks Dominick !!

Just bought calamari the most disgusting calamari i could of ever imagined eating tasted like something I bought in the freezer of a 99 cent store or dollar tree Rubbery pale like the color of a dunkin donuts napkin do not Buy this save your 10 Bucks i wouldn't even eat it for free that's how Bad it is just spend your 12.50 at Rocco's calamari well worth it

This place was my childhood but recently the vibe seem more sad and silence? It was a fun, bright and loud place by not anymore. That affected the food they serve too. I will recommend the slushies if you are looking for something to drink in the summer.

I ordered again from Dominick's to give them another shot, and got another disappointing meal. I tried the mozzarella sticks--they sucked. They were coated only in breadcrumbs, no seasonings or flavors, and were served without any kind of dipping sauce. The chicken parm was okay, portion was very generous, but the chicken was also really unseasoned. It was a meh meal at best.

This place has been open for a long time. I really like the pizza they serve. The garlic knots were ok.

I've ordered from Dominicks pizzeria several times and always without a hitch. The delivery is punctual and the pizza is good. The price is great. However, I've only ever ordered the original pizza pies from them - good if you're in the mood for a basic thin crust New York style pizza.

Love this place I went to school next to it before I buy pizza from here almost everyday it's like 2.50 for a slice with a drink the ppl there are nice except when they get too busy which I understand one thing stopping for 5 stars was when their busy the service was real slow otherwise everything was good

Decent, but a bit pricey. Your standard pizza place- nothing special. I'd usually go to Papa John's or Dominos.

I give them 3 stars but not because the pizza was bad.... It was actually very good... But I must say customer service.... Not good.... It was my first time ordering from here but not a good first impression rcvd..... I had tried calling around 7ish pm & all I kept getting was a busy signal... Therefore I decided to ordered the food online.... So much time passed after that, that I then started getting concerned & wandering if my online order was ever rcvd by the pizzeria... I didn't rcv an email confirmation or a phone call to confirm the order... After trying to call the pizzeria for almost an hour ... I finally got through & spoke to someone.... At 801pm (almost an hour passed my online order) he tells me about 10 minutes cause my pizza was in the oven... Another 20 minutes passed and still no pizza... From having my kids harassing me for their pizza... I tried calling again & again I got busy signals!!!! Finally after so much waiting the delivery showed up..... Now for the pizza.... We all Enjoyed it!!!! If it wasn't from the bad service ... I would of given them 5 stars.... Let's see what happens again when I order from them in the near future... When I am back Visiting my grandparents again & my kids want pizza....

I usually come here for lunch. The pizza is really good. I usually get a reguar slice or pepperoni slice. The staff is friendly. Try to avoid the place around 2:30 pm tho. Thats when the place gets packed with the middle school kids.

Dominick's has been around forever, and the quality has never abated. In fact, as far as I'm concerned, Dominick's serves up THE quintessential New York slice. I know that I am very hard pressed to find better quality pizza anywhere else in the five boroughs, and it kills me that I live so far away now. Aside from the pizza, I really love their eggplant rollatini which doesn't give you a pile of thick, mushy slices of eggplant, but instead has thin layers interspersed with ricotta and sauce and coated with a nice bubbly layer of their quality mozz. God, I miss it so much! Also, a square pie with the pickled jalapenos as a topping was something I really got into before I moved. The guys behind the counter were a real hoot as well.

My girlfriend had a harrowing experience with this place, so I will never order from them again. We ordered the Chicken Caesar Salad Pizza, which we've gotten before, and mozzarella sticks. The pizza itself was fine, although it's pretty dry and (I think) overpriced; that's what my gf likes though, so that's what we got. What happened before and after getting the pizza is the reason I would give this place 1 star at best. First, they got our order wrong. We opened the box to see a Caesar salad instead of a Caesar salad pizza. That's understandable, although after making us wait for more than an hour when the place is only 4 blocks from my apartment was not. When my gf called them to say that they had gotten our order wrong, she was told that they would send the correct order. And they should, considering we paid $30 for pizza and mozzarella sticks. The delivery guy came back much faster with the correct order. But then it got weird. First, the delivery guy came back and asked for the other food (the wrong order), saying that the owner "wanted to see it." Definitely the first time I've heard that, especially considering we've ordered from them before. I should mention that we had eaten the better part of the salad, but hey, I wasn't expecting them to want it back after we opened it. Then, the owner had the gall to call back and tell my gf that she was "disrespectful," and "a terrible person" for eating the salad. I can't believe that a business owner would deliberately call a customer back to harass them, especially considering that it was HIS mistake that caused the issue. His conduct was unbelievably unprofessional. There are many other pizza places in this area, avoid this one!
